Zedapalooza 2008
As of March 4th, 2008 you may have noticed a few grafitti tags in your suburb advertising the Zedapalooza Concert Tour. Some of these may have been sprayed over DK13 tags, for that we apologize and in order to smooth over any potential bad feelings we invite you to visit us at the VZW sponsored tenth leg of the First VZW Zedapalooza Concert Tour at Club Shortt. All concert goers will be treated to Captain Clatter's Rum drinks compliments of the Upstairs Brewing Company from the Clatworthy Arms and Lowther Leaf Cigars straight from the Lowther Building. Also, the concert sponsors have made VIP Passes available to patrons at Template:Zedapalooza2008. Hope to see DK13 members there! --Shazzelim 23:59, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi there Shazzelim,
Thanks for making first contact with the DK13!!! APAC 2 U!!!
Sounds like a great event, (I used to work road/stage crew on the actual Lollapalooza/Ozzfest/etc etc myself!) good luck with it all and no doubt some of our guys will be down for the free rum there to check it all out!
Please feel free to use our LSTF @ 26.87MHz to spread news relating to the Zedapalooza Concert Tour, this will enable you to reach even more people than by spraying, including the occupants within the majority (75%) of buildings located within KG50 ... without having to vandalize any more turf paint!
Also, in regards to our turf paint, no bad feelings, just a handful of guys on minus 300AP (each!) or thereabouts since midweek due to extra searching, solely for spraycans! Maybe have another word with your guys as it still (?) seems to be happening (see below) as of today?
Thanks and best wishes: --MK 18:40, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Somebody has spraypainted Zedpalooza 2008 now at CLub Shortt! onto a wall.
You say "LAST CALL. PLEASE REFER TO DK13 TURF PAINT POLICY @ http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/DK13#-_TURF_PAINT_.2F_GRAFFITI_POLICY"
Red Rum = Fake DK13 Pkers
http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Red_Rum/Martial_Law Shouldn't you put something about this in your wiki? An official statement on this would be nice. --Chanb 11:06, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Cheers mate, but we STILL can't honestly believe that ANYONE actually took this seriously!!! From day one it was blatantly obvious that this was just another attempt by redrum to inject some "fun" into their increasingly stale and boring existence within Urban Dead.
Just to clarify once more, for yourself, and anyone else reading:
- 1: DK13 never PKed anyone, not even redrum members who were claiming to be members of DK13 and were found to be guilty of PKing survivors in our name.
- 2: DK13 never declared any martial law, this is once again a product of redrum members.
- 3: DK13 have nothing to do with ANY mall's, Joachim included, with the exception of occasionaly searching them for items.
DK13 have no official policy at all relating to redrum, we have given out "general advice" ONLY to our members, friends and alliance's which mainly consisted of:
- 1: Ignore them.
- 2: Do not interact with them.
- 3: Rise above them.
The fact is simple, we don't care to play "those" games here @ DK13, so i say let redrum continue to run around claiming their "victory" over us, and let those that actually matter know that during this so called "war", at best a dubious and childish state of gameplay, in which we did NOT actually participate, our enemy was for the main part, totally ignored ;)

- In addendum, the hands of DK13 are not clean as previously stated. --Banana reads Scoundrell for all of Yesterday's News, Today! 23:52, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
I beg to differ, Vandr has had that coming for a LONG LONG LONG time! Hat's off to johnnylima, the guy with clean hand's and a perfectly working moral compass ;) --MK 16:19, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- Whether Vandr had it coming or not is irrelevant. Just let it be known that there was hostile retaliation by DK13. --Banana reads Scoundrell for all of Yesterday's News, Today! 21:12, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
Look, we both know, along with everyone else, that no one in their right mind would ever consider that anywhere close to hostile retaliation. End of story. --MK 23:51, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
Joachim Mall
- Well, I'm not declaring war on anyone just yet. (The above should've signed his post) But I did witness this: http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/8310/pkap4.png
- His profile #'s 888134, Bulgakovnik, in case it isn't clear. Sorry for the poor image, but what's up with this shit? --3 Legged Freak 14:28, Dec 9, 2007 EST
- And again... this time some ahole named The Bloody Baron. You guys have an awful lot of impersonators. I'm not even gonna bother w/a screenshot on this one. The Mall population is indeed thinning out, but your group name's suffering greatly. --3 Legged Freak 12:32, Dec 11, 2007 EST
- I would say it's a suspiciously large amount of impersonators; especially since the DK13 radio broadcasts can't get their story straight. Anyone with even a fleeting interest in military history--as DK13 allude to--can recognize this tactic as coming right out of Stalin's textbook. Think about it: "Impersonators" keep killing bystanders, DK13 offers free revives and tells everyone to go to their website, people go to the website, etcetera. It's a little scary to watch this happen in an online game. Magnum Odus 18:00, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed. You guys are now official A#1 Assholes: [1] Your buddy Joe Fortune got me around noon. Quite sporting. Congrats on allowing your group to become targets for everyone w/any sense. Cheers! --3 Legged Freak 14:38, Dec 12, 2007 EST
- It wasn't DK13. Go to their forums and talk to them. I witnessed the Joe Fortune PK, and they are NOT DK13. I'm not a DK13 member, but I hate to see good groups get bad names because of impersonators.--Jonathon Quimby 21:53, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- You have to register to read their forums, and after you do sign in, you only get to read one section. How do we know what they're talking about in the sections they CHOOSE not to show us? Magnum Odus 02:49, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, so known Red Rum members suddenly change to DK13 and start killing people in DK13's name even though DK13 has never done anything like that before. Red Rum adds this link to their pages. DK13 is actively out there punishing the impersonators. None of the impersonators are active on the public website...ever. And you're arguing...why now? You're trying to stir stuff up yourself, it looks like. --Jonathon Quimby 17:10, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not stirring up trouble, I would just be curious to see how their membership numbers increase over the next month. If you are familiar with any military history, you would know that this is the kind of thing dictators have done in the past to regain support. Who is to say they haven't given Red Rum free reign over the area to bolster support? I'm not denying that they may be innocent, but it seems highly suspicious that a large group with dwindling numbers should decide to garner support from locals. Think of it this way: How many more people are paying attention to DK13 now than they were six months ago? Shoot, check out how many comments about them have been made recently. - Oh come on. Military history? I'm familiar with Urban Dead history, and was there when this exact same thing happened before, with Tactical Area Rescue down in Wyke Hills. Again, check out Red Rum's page that I linked to. They're laughing about what they're doing to DK13.
- Okay, okay, maybe DK13 are a pattsy, but something doesn't smell right. How could Red Rum restock and make their way over to Fryerbank so quickly? They only have fourteen according to Urbandead. It just seems like something is rotten in Denmark. I don't know why, but I smell a coup attempt. On their forum, for instance, they have been warned about having a group of traitors in their midst. - Regarding secrecy, what the Red Rum and/or PKer forums do not CHOOSE to show is equally valid.
It makes sense to me that they may just want to take credit when the suburb falls to BB2. Bringing down the largest organised group in this safe(ish) suburb would help the Big Bash no end. If in doubt, go through the join DK13 thread on the public forum and none of the PKers will be there (I did, and it took ages! No life you see....). Look, it's no secret that Red Rum set up a "decoy" [[2]] DK13 page (check the URL at the top!). Where there's smoke there's fire.--MrTea 14:20, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, I take that back, you're not a-holes. You're victims too. I'm to the point where I don't care. Bulgokavnik got me again yesterday, and will likely get me again today, or Joe Fortune or someone else. Eventually their trigger fingers will tire and they'll move on somewhere else. It's all pretty goddamn silly. Best of luck keeping your reputations. --3 Legged Freak 12:00, Dec 14, 2007 EST
Good gawd, Magnum Opus, you are taking all this WAAAY too bloody seriously. Red Rum impersonates groups frequently to stir up shit... Obviusly it's working... And your own trenchcoater attitude is NOT helping... Honestly, I think DK13 should be posting something on their wiki to explain what is going on, but that's not my business... But instead of bitching and whining and pointing fingers and then just saying. "oh sorry... and good luck with that!"... why don't you actually HELP Dk13 deal with the problem? sheeeeeeesh.... WanYao 23:34, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Good gawd, WanYao, YOU are taking this too seriously. You. Not me. I know all about Red Rum. I also know all about DK13. I didn't expect to see you talking to me on so many pages. It's quite scary. I've highlighted my concerns and I expect them to be taken seriously. You are not helping. Anyway, you're a zombie character, so how can we trust you? You have absolutely no credibility when it comes to conversations about suvivors. Magnum Odus 14:36, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
DK13 Impersonator Ocular PKing
Let me introduce you to Ocular. He just PKed me in Fryerbank, claiming the area was under DK13 martial law. I don't believe you're involved with his cowardly acts, but I wanted you to know he was out there.--Jonathon Quimby 04:38, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Sorry about that, but our policy is working perfectly, and you have infact been PKed by a member of redrum posing as a member of DK13. You might want to take this up directly with redrum, just don't hold your breath for any type of positive outcome! --MK 16:23, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
DK 13 Questions
Hi there I wonder if there is some way for me to contact you in a more private forum than the wiki? It seems I can't get access to your forums and I have some questions I'd like to ask the leadership which I assume is you ;). thanks.--Kristi of the Dead 09:59, 3 September 2007 (BST)
Hi Kristi,
Nice to make your aqquaintance (?) and APAC for making first contact!
In responce to your original request, i can answer any questions you might have regarding one three, and the best place for us to speak, open or in private, would indeed be on the one three forum, however i am unsure of what your exact problem is when attempting to sign up on our forum.
May i please request in turn that you attempt once more to sign up on our forum and if you have no luck a second time then let me know what the problem is?
Apologies for any delay in getting back to you, but i only check the wiki page every now and then, whereas i do check the one three forum pretty much every day.
http://tricom13.proboards54.com/index.cgi
Hope to hear from you soon! --MK 14:15, 8 September 2007 (BST)

Kristi,
If you are getting this, then you have given up trying to make a basic forum account on the DK13 forum and the answer to your original question would be no, there is no way for you to contact us on a more private forum than the wiki, so you might aswell go ahead and ask your questions right here.
I am all ears ;)

E.N.D.
We here at E.N.D. are a nomadic survivor group that would like to help Malton by traveling threw every town taking out any threat to returning our beloved city to its old glory. If we are in need, call upon us and will give our lives if we must, heal the sick, and return your loved ones to there living bodies. E.N.D. ask for a alliance with every survivor group. If all survivors can work in harmony, Together, our children will grow up to think zeds are only a ghost story.--XxPale HorsexX 11:32, 26 July 2007 (BST)
- Hi there,
- Thanks for making first contact. So you guys have an info page on the wiki, a web page or anything? Also, if you are a legitimate PRO-SURVIVOR group we would like to invite you to join us on the SEQA list @ www.seqa.tk and maybe invite you down to the KG50 for a few headshots ;)
- GLHH! --MK 21:32, 27 July 2007 (BST)
- E.N.D. indeed are pro survivor, although still in the infant phase. The goal is to have 4 teams starting at the corners of Malton and working threw each and every town taking out every zed, healping all survivors in any means we can. Click on the E.N.D. to see the wiki page. Unfortunitly there isn't a large enough group to bother with a website yet, but, once we get our numbers up that is a good possiblity.
- May I ask for us to be allies, (Tryed to sign up to your forum, but I got an error messege) or is that too forth coming?
- Please visit our group page: http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/E.N.D.

I'd like to put out a general call to your membership for updating the phone mast status page at http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Mobile_Phone_Mast#Locations for the locations they pass through. Quick Question about your PK Policy
A group has moved into Miltown that claims they are allies of DK13. This group, ODRS, have almost immediately started PKing the members of a local group in the suburb. While they are not happy with the actions of ODRS (or the fact they seek to explain their PKing through an unprovoked declaration of war), they have grown used to groups targetting those survivors that want to co-exist with zombies, and are therefore not particularly bothered by the presence of ODRS.
The question I have is whether or not the DK13 strict NON-PK policy is applied to allies of DK13, or do you condone PKing so long as it isn't your own members that are doing it?
The reason I felt the need to ask is that this is not the first time DK13 have welcomed PKers into their ranks (see PK13 - most of whose membership have been seemingly welcomed back into DK13).
If you condone PKing by others, how can you claim a strict NON-PK policy?
Many thanks for your time, –Ray Vern phz •T 15:00, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
Hi,
While we were unaware of any PKing from ODRS until today, i think it is safe to say that any official DK13 policys will only apply to DK13, and not to any other groups.
We see all PKing as counter productive and "mean spirited" but are powerless to stop it happening.
In regards to PK13, they were a handful of ex members of DK13 who had fully observed the DK13 policy regarding PKing and then left DK13 of their own accord in order to "exact revenge" on people who had been PKing them. Simply put, after being PKed on an almost daily basis and not being able to "strike back" they finally grew tired and left DK13.
So far as i am aware, members of the now defunct PK13 only ever posed a danger to the players who had been PKing them over and over again, for no good reason, for the previous several months.
--MK 22:32, 22 April 2007 (BST)
- The reasons behind the PK13 members need to PK was not what I was asking (both sides claimed to be the victim from what I recall). What I asked was why these PKers were allowed back into DK13, a strictly non-PKer group, after it was all over.
- It effectively looked as though DK13 members were allowed to PK so long as they took the DK13 tag out of their description for the duration of the act.
- To be honest, it's all a bit ancient history now and really not worth the stress.
- cheers, –Ray Vern phz •T 16:38, 23 April 2007 (BST)
Hi Ray,
From memory there was only one single player who left DK13 in order to help out with the short lived PK13 and then later re-joined us @ DK13, if you can provide a name for the person or persons you are enquiring about i can probably provide a better answer for you.
Also, just to confirm, DK13 policys do not apply to any players who are not members of DK13.
--MK 15:23, 24 April 2007 (BST)
- As I said, it's all ancient history (as shown by the original posting date of over 5 months ago). You've answered the question I asked well enough - A DK13 member can leave temporarily in order to PK, and will be allowed back into the group afterwards no questions asked.
- It's not an issue, I was only after clarification.
- Cheers, –Ray Vern phz •T 18:45, 24 April 2007 (BST)
Well that is somewhat "putting words in my mouth" dont you think Ray?
I did not say that any DK13 member can leave DK13, go about PKing and then come back to DK13 with no questions asked. I did not say that, and neither would i condone it.
To clarify once again, what you are talking about has occured once, with one member, since we began in 2005, it was a founding member of DK13, hence why he was re-instated, and i would hardly say that there were "no questions asked". Also worth noting is that the individual in question no longer plays Urban Dead.
To further clarify the existence of PK13, this "splinter group" was formed ONLY as a direct result of non stop PKing, griefing, taunting, racist comments etc etc from the minority opposition and directed at anyone flying the DK13 flag, day in and day out, over the course of four to five months. No members of DK13 can be held responsible for initiating any such hostile action, and as i recall it, i was PKed upwards of thirty times myself by the same minority opposition before PK13 was even a whisper.
I realise that this issue is history now, but hopefully i have made it a bit clearer and we can let it drop.

About Unconfirmed Members
Can you confirm the membership status of Fossi in your group? (One of my compatriots has the profile information, which I can pass along if you wish).
They have been PKing in Miltown and claim to be DK13, but are not on your wiki page member list.
Many thanks for your time, –Ray Vern phz •T 13:35, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
Hi,
Sorry for the delay in responding, i only realised we had this page yesterday!
I can confirm that Fosi is a member of RED RUM and was never at any time a member of DK13.

Hello from The Lumberjacks
Hi there. We are a fellow survivor group operating in Penny Heights. We are maintaining Joesphine General and Odo General Hospital in Penny Heights. Does your group maintain a radio outpost at either of these locations? The reason I ask is that the 9 or so of us living there as part of the Lumberjacks are getting spammed to hell and back from your frequency. We'd like to set up our own radios in one or both locations. Is there some arrangement we can work out? Also, someone keeps spraying over our tags about barricade levels and our forums. Again, according to your wiki page, this is against your policy to not overtag. We registered w/ Malton Hospitals Group to maintain the hospitals and we'd like friendly relations with all groups in our area, so can we work something out? Thanks. Please visit our wiki page ( or our forum @ http://lumberjacksud.proboards60.com/index.cgi )to discuss. thanks. Ignatz 03:42, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
Big Bash is coming
The Big Bash is coming to your neighborhood. The Cannonball Crew and the Loose Cannons are coming to slow them down and aid survivors. If you're still operating in Whittenside or Fryerbank, we'd like to coordinate efforts with you. If you're interested, email me and I'll give you access to the secure diplomacy thread on our website. Respectfully, --Koppie 18:44, 13 August 2006 (BST)
Quote of the year: "Hey People this is benb5 and I would just like to say that your good ol friend natural eyes is quite the provoker. He started a few fights that i have seen so just giving you a heads up."
Actual scenario, Neutral Eyes was himself initially provoked for no good reason, not long after which he was PKed, again for no good reason, and his only interaction to benb5 to date is when benb5 returned to gloat over the fact that Neutral Eyes had been PKed and attempted to further provoke Neutral Eyes by hurling more insults and childish name calling, in responce to which Neutral Eyes chose to completely ignore benb5 and friends.
When all is said and done, i think we all know where the provocation, insults, childish gameplay and PKing came from benb5, but thanks for the "head's up" anyways! --T13 17:24, 28 May 2008 (BST)

Declaration
The Browncoats have declared open war on you. --Blanemcc 22:54, 14 October 2008 (BST)
Hi there,
Firstly, we have no idea at all who you or your group are. Secondly, please note that until you explain why you wish to declare war upon DK13, and what you are hoping to achieve by doing so, you will in all likelyhood be totally ignored by members of DK13, and that includes completely ignoring your random acts of unprovoked PKing, which is probably the "be all and end all" scenario in your so called "war" anyways.
If you have any further threats, or indeed clarification related to your declaration of "war", or if there is anything other than the bog standard and pointless PKing you would like to bring to the table, please stop by on the DK13 forums as no one really reads this wiki page! --T13 14:58, 15 October 2008 (BST)

Hi there, folks. I know this may seem a rather strange request, but it's for all groups, regardless of size, to help keep the wiki up to date. Are you all still active and using those frequencies? --Jen 00:54, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
Yes. DK13 and our respective radio frequency's are still active. Please rest assured that should we cease to exist, we will gladly remove all trace of ourselves from the wiki. Until that day happens, we are active ... and then some ;)
- 26.87 MHz - DK13: DELTA KILO ONE THREE LSTF @ 26.87MHz / LOCAL SHARED TRANSMIT FREQUENCY
- 26.88 MHz - DK13: DELTA KILO ONE THREE HQTF @ 26.88MHz / [13] HOTEL QUEBEC TRANSMIT FREQUENCY
- 26.89 MHz - DK13: DELTA KILO ONE THREE TPTF @ 26.89MHz / [13] TACTICAL PURSUIT TRANSMIT FREQUENCY

Your ad has been removed from the Recruitment page because of rules violation, specifically an old timestamp. There is a guide here. Please re-add it if you are still active and recruiting. |

Yeah, i done it ... again. I also left some feedback regarding the inadequate 14 day period! Thanks! --T13 13:36, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- Thankfully, that's going to get changed, if the current vote is anything to go by :). I've also fixed your link/header, which was broken. Linkthewindow Talk 23:17, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for fixing our link/header! --T13 17:54, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

Group Confirmed. | |
This group was confirmed active. Thank you for your reply. |
- Thanks.--Rddr 22:07, 13 February 2009 (GMT)
Didn't we do this already, just a few months back? --T13 18:54, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
- Yes - and it took months to complete so some of you just answered this question for last year and are now being asked for this year. This shouldn't happen again. It is going much quicker this time. Thanks! --Lois talk 10MFH 20:22, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
Recruitment Ad

Your ad has been removed from the Recruitment page because of rules violation, specifically image in ad is too large. There is a guide here. Please re-add it if you are still active and recruiting. |
I'm sorry, but the image used in your ad is too large. It can be no larger than 76000 pixels in size.--Lois talk 10MFH 15:25, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
No problems, i have restored the older image again. But i have been having this out whitehouse and various other admins for well over a year now, and that image was "supposed" to have been approved! --T13 20:58, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but I know of no exceptions to the guidelines. Although there is an ongoing discussion regarding the guidelines concerning the ads, there have been no changes to the policy except for a change in how often the timestamp needs to be updated. You are welcome to enter the discussion on the talk page of the Recruitment page in an effort to have these guidelines changed, but the rules must be enforced as they are written for now.--Lois talk 10MFH 11:57, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
Does that include the image which we have been using with no problems for the past few years Louis? --T13 23:20, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- I've no idea what image you've been using previously as I only recently started monitoring the Recruitment page. I do know that there was quite a long period of time during which no one was checking if the ads conform. Oh - and it's Lois, not Louis. --Lois talk 10MFH 12:42, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
Lol, sorry Lois, my mistake ;) --T13 17:00, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
Also, is the current image acceptable? If so, can you please explain why? It seems to me that any of the three images we have been using still take up more room on the page than a "banner" style image anyways? The banner style image was simply making use of the crazy amount of free space either side of the current image. Thanks! --T13 17:03, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
