20071105 Hippo Lagoon

Loop ho tep 14:20, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

Suggestion type
Improvement

Suggestion scope
Add a Hippo Lagoon to the Malton Zoo

Suggestion description
As even the lowliest of zoos go, Our Lovely City is severly lacking in exhibits and enclosures, I therefore Humbly request that a Lagoon be added so that the many Fine and nobel Hippopotami that are currently Homeless in and about the city have a place to rest their bones after a long day entertaining the families and most especially the Children of our fine City.

addendum: I would like to add that a good location for the Lagoon could be at 42,32 or 45,33

Keep Votes

  1. Keep I am the author and as per the example, I am allowed to vote on my own suggestions Loop Ho Tep 21:33, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
  2. Keep - Why not? There's a fair few empty tiles in the Zoo, why not add something interesting? It should have a special item of clothing, like a "Hippos are Somewhat Humerous" t-shirt. Yes. --Pavluk A! E! 21:43, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
  3. Keep - Keep the Hungry, Hungry Hippos from eating Zeds and Humans alike. --Pgunn 22:18, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
  4. Keep - I like hippos.--  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 22:36, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
  5. Keep - Hungry, Hungry Hippos! Hungry, Hungry Hippos! Hungry, Hungry Hippos! Hungry, Hungry Hippos! Hungry, Hungry Hippos! Hungry, Hungry Hippos! Hungry, Hungry Hippos! Hungry, Hungry Hippos! Hungry, Hungry Hippos! Hungry, Hungry Hippos! Hungry, Hungry Hippos! Hungry, Hungry Hippos! Hungry, Hungry Hippos! Hungry, Hungry Hippos! Hungry, Hungry Hippos! Hungry, Hungry Hippos! Hungry, Hungry Hippos! I think that's enough... Nope! Hungry, Hungry Hippos! There, that's enough. BoboTalkClown 22:36, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
  6. Keep - as the person who's suggested that we have an Underworld, a river, an expanded city and countryside, Malton University and The Malton Tower, I am horribly jealous that I didn't think of adding this myself. I salute your efforts to make Malton more habitable for hippos, sir! --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 22:44, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
  7. Keep - As everyone deserves a right to frolock in warmish unsanitsed hippo water after a hard day working. Acoustic Pie 23:26, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Keep- As one of my alts is a zookeeper, I love this idea. We could use another enclosure, instead of so many empty spaces. Keep, indeed! Dotcomaphobe Improperly signed. --Z. slay3r Talk  14:39, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
  8. Keep Especially if we can enter the pool! --Jon Pyre 00:30, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
  9. Keep The Malton Zookeepers love this idea.--'BPTmz 00:33, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
  10. Keep - As rare is the chance that I'll ever visit the City Zoo, we should probably have a Hippo Lagoon there anyway. --Private Mark 00:36, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
  11. Keep - Although I hate hippos. Dreadful beats. And to the "it's humorous, burn it" people, what the hell makes it so humorous? The fact that he tried to make it a little bit light-hearted while making a valid suggestion? Jaysus man, it's not like he put up a rocket launcher for voting.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 00:44, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

  13. Keep - I love hippos! Hippos are awesome! And by awesome I mean totally sweet in every way! --Steakfish 02:29, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
  14. Keep - Malton needs some Hippos! What zoo is complete without hippos? --Kandarin 04:44, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
  15. Keep - Hippos have to live somewhere! There's nothing humorous about poor cuddly things walking around with no home. Bastetmeow 05:33, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
  16. Penguin - Keep the hippo exhibit and consider adding a penguin exhibit too.Studoku 08:39, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
  17. Keep - A bit strange, but I guess it is alright. --Z. slay3r Talk  14:39, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

  21. Keep - The city needs some good, unigue sights here and there--Zach016 21:26, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
  22. Keep - There's plenty of stuff in the game that is abundantly useless, so that's not really a valid argument. Shaded glasses? Spiked collars? At least this would be amusing, and useful for both humans and zombies - another place for the humans to live, another place for zombies to break into for human brains. Sheana T / TMZ 22:43, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Um.. I don't think survivors would enjoy hiding out in a LAGOON. --Darth LumisT! A! E! FU! U 02:47, 7 November 2007 (UTC) Non author RE struck Sockem 04:19, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Oh noes, you told me! Except that along that type of realism, survivors probably wouldn't want to hang out in the lion enclosure, but they certainly do. I assumed that, like all other zoo enclosures, it'd function exactly the same as the other areas, with a fenced-off area.Sheana T / TMZ 04:35, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
  23. Keep - Best suggestion of all time. --Kikashie ELT 03:53, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
  24. Keep Sure, why the hell not? Oh, and Bobo, you might want to watch it with that... that could be called spam if you piss off the right guy... I'll never be that person, as I have the mystical force known as "Apathy" on my side. But some people are just... How to say this... @#$%'n Retarded? ~A`Blue`JellyTME*V*I*L*? 03:59, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
  25. Keep How exactly is it vandalism to suggest adding a zoo habitat to the zoo? But anyway, I like the idea of more enclosures and less generic 'city zoo' tiles. --Howard Bentley 21:47, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
  26. Hippos!!!! It's the next hip thing that'll be coming to the zoo! Alright...so that line wasn't really that good... --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 22:07, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

  31. Keep - More diversity and development of the city blocks is good. It is not unreasonable to have a hippo exhibit in a zoo. Malton wasn't designed to be apocalyptic, it was made that way by the zombies, so it is reasonable to find happy fun things, even if they are now covered in dead bodies. --Pdeq 11:29, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
  32. Keep - The fact of the matter is, the zoo is pretty empty right now. I know, I live there. I'd say over half of it has no enclosures at all, nor administrative buildings, or whatever. I think it's no stretch to add a Lagoon or whatever. Consider this before spamming this suggestion --Grognor 17:31, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
  33. Keep - this is a simple and interesting suggestion. All those voting spam need to get off the PC, get outside, and get a life. The man 19:59, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Kill Votes

  1. Kill A little bit silly. So Jon didn't suggest this? I was wondering. Good on ya for helping out new users mate.--SeventythreeTalk 21:35, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
RE Sorry for the misunderstanding, I used Jon's suggestion as a tomplate because it is still easier to work from one as I am not that great with Wiki code Loop Ho Tep 21:48, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
That's quite ok. If you need any help with anything, feel free to leave me a message on my talkpage.--SeventythreeTalk 21:50, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

  4. Spam(ish) its not owerpowered but it is stupid.... should probably be put up as a vandalism case but... sod it the idea makes me laugh, even if it s stoopid!!! HUNGRY HIPPO'S ARE GO!--Honestmistake 00:18, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Vandalism- This is clearly a humorous suggestion and is clearly in the wrong section, seemingly on purpose. Edit: My apologies I am striking my vote.-- BKM 03:30, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

  5. Ridiculous - And completely unneeded. --Karekmaps?! 13:46, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
  6. Spam - Even when compelled to follow the keepwagon, it's just obvious that this is the type of suggestion that gets always spamminated, but for some odd reason didn't this time around. I don't care about missing the wagon anyways... *sigh*. --Matthew Fahrenheit YRCT+1 15:30, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
