Suggestion type
Profile page addition.

Suggestion scope
All profile pages.

Suggestion description
The player profile page should include a line indicating if the character is currently logged in. It could also display the last time the character was logged in.

It would help all characters to know if a player with some sort of importance (such as for example, survivors with revivification abilities or clan members) are currently playing at the moment.

Keep Votes

  1. Keep - Author vote. - SpanishInquisition 23:19, 1 August 2008 (BST)

Kill Votes

  1. Kill - That's exactly the kind of information that should not be shared. - Tylerisfat 00:11, 2 August 2008 (BST)
  2. Kill If your main reason for this is to let you know when a character was last logged in to the game already does that in a sense. If they are on your contacts and don't log in for a month they get crossed out. If you need to know when they are online beyond that stop stalking people! --– Nubis NWO 01:42, 2 August 2008 (BST)
  3. Kill This suggestion exploits part of the nature of a realistic zombie-apocalypse simulation which people play for an hour per day. Galaxy125 03:58, 2 August 2008 (BST)
  4. Kill I don't know if it's spam but this is a horrible idea. It's a Griefer, PKer, and any sort of Combatant's dream all rolled into one. Techercizer (Food) (TSoE) 04:19, 2 August 2008 (BST)
  5. Kill - No. And besides, you can already get an idea of when the last time someone logged in or made an action was by who's at the bottom of the list of people in a room. Also with DDR below. --Private Mark 07:29, 2 August 2008 (BST)
  6. kill- see above comments for general idea of why this would be bad. Shooty08 09:27, 2 August 2008 (BST)
  7. Kill- sorry, but it's broken. Linkthewindow 14:55, 2 August 2008 (BST)
  8. Kill - Sorry. I can see what you're trying to do, but this would kill the game. -- Cheese 14:57, 2 August 2008 (BST)
  9. Kill - The times people are on is in theory something smoothed over by the game rules - providing explicit informaton on it makes it exploitable. --Pgunn 19:49, 2 August 2008 (BST)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Spam - That's not the kind of information you should get just from having someone's profile. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 23:21, 1 August 2008 (BST)
  2. Spam - Doing this would kill Urban Dead's character. DANCEDANCEREVOLUTION (TALK | CONTRIBS) 01:24, 2 August 2008 (BST)
  3. Spam - Neither needed nor wanted. --Papa Moloch 01:45, 2 August 2008 (BST)
  4. Spam - As above.  Billy Club Thorton  T!  RR  03:31, 2 August 2008 (BST)
  5. Spam - As other spammers. This is just broken. Its also been suggested before back in the old days when we just deleted spam. --The Grimch U! E! 09:30, 2 August 2008 (BST)
  6. Spam - Totally useless suggestion, due to the game design. Most folks never "log out" from the last character they play, which means "logged in" has no certain relationship to "active" (although "logged out" would ensure inactivity). If you want to know which characters in your location are (in)active, the game already tells you that; names (for survivors, and zombie contacts, and dead body contacts) are given in order of decreasing time since the last server hit by that character (IE, folks who are currently playing go at the end of the list, as others above pointed out). 7. ^As Seb.^ --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 18:53, 2 August 2008 (BST).
  8. spam - as moloch and seb. all you need to know is if someone is active, and that's easy to figure out. if you're paying attention. also, there are no "clans" in Urban Dead. --WanYao 20:44, 2 August 2008 (BST)
  9. Spam - As DDR and Swiers --  21:03, 3 August 2008 (BST)
  10. Spam train – As others, mostly Swiers. ᚱᛁᚹᛖᚾ 07:47, 4 August 2008 (BST)
  11. Spam - I am tempted to sysop-spaminate this. Giving last log-in times is completely against the character of the game.--The General T Sys U! P! F! 13:50, 4 August 2008 (BST)
