Stanbury Village is a suburb of Malton, located in the center of the city. Before the outbreak Stanbury was relatively unremarkable, mostly visited by shoppers patronizing Nichols Mall, and it's famous Kilt Store. There was a steady stream of local gossip caused by the resident billionaire and Necrotech founder Willum J. Kersley, but his mansion in the South-East is now ransacked, the onyx walls and countless hot-tubs marred with dried gore, the cellars gutted by fire and littered with unidentifiable equipment. Several sites in Stanbury were planned for development and urban renewal, but since the outbreak these have simply lain empty as wasteland.

Records of Stanbury history have been recorded in books, in the Brome and Stribling Libraries, as well as in artifacts found in the Batson Museum. A few passages of Stanbury Village history can be found here.

As a central location it is prone to repeated re-conquering by various human and zombie groups, but its proximity to Ridleybank makes it generally quite unsafe for survivors.

Zombies attacking multiple resource buildings. Went Building's Necrotech is ruined, over 30 zombies inside the building. Halsey Auto Repair is overrun, then retaken and barricaded. Ex-humans crowding Yeoman Park revive point. Nichols Mall still stands strong, with more and more survivors flocking in from other ruined resource points. This is Kyle Alec reporting live from Nichols Mall.

The east of the suburb continues to go uncontested. NW corner of Nichols is out, but there are no zombies outside and revive queues are very low, with only about 3-4 zeds at Maxwell and Yeoman. DANCEDANCEREVOLUTION (TALK | CONTRIBS) 00:54, 11 October 2008 (BST)

As the Malton Block Party enters it's 4th day of operations, a strong foothold of partygoers has formed in the Northwestern part of the suburb. The death toll has been so low, a few survivors have been seen outside in Whetcombe Park roasting marshmallows and singing "I met a bear" around a campfire. The Corfield Arms has been rumoured to be running low on beer due to increased demand, however officials say that they are still "sort of confident" that the situation will not turn hostile. This survey fits the description of an "Awesome" party.--Labine50 MEMS | MHG 03:40, 24 September 2008 (BST)

September 23rd

Malton Block Party staff have been present in the Northwest corner of the suburb, attempting to repair The Higgs Arms and The Corfield Arms in preparation of the upcoming block party. Bunney Street Police Dept. has been repaired, "for shits and giggles".--Labine50 MEMS | MHG 00:37, 15 September 2008 (BST)
