Red Cresent Pages
These pages were merged into Red Cresent Emergency Management/Protocols after they were posted on Move Requests. G-Man said the group was disbanded (and said to delete the pages) but instead the information on these pages was merged and now the little content pages that are in the wrong name space are being put up for Speedy Delete.
Experiment 02843 Also, is "cresent" the Non-US English spelling? Just curious.--– Nubis NWO 20:12, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- crescent is how it's spelled in australia.--xoxo 05:03, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- Its meant to represent the word, but not take on the direct meaning of it, therefore (At least I hope) its not spelled that way anywhere, although I could easily be mistaken.--G-Man 12:31, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
Keep - Two weeks should be enough to ensure that this isn't another former leader gone rogue. Take in to A/D. -- . . <== DDR Approved Editor 04:52, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- But none of the info is being lost, just reorganised by Nubis -- boxy talk • teh rulz 05:41 15 December 2008 (BST)
- I left a message on the page. Posted it on the A/MR page asking for someone from the group to weigh in. G-man is showing as the author of all of these pages (and many under the group). It's a Crit 7 I just did the work. --– Nubis NWO 13:09, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- Groups structure is a bit too messy and unappealing. The whole thing went down the tube and everyone gave up and left. I'll admit the failure is my fault and I've considered restarting something much, much simular to avoid the same mistakes, but the point is, its hard to be rouge when your the only one left making the rules isn't it?--G-Man 12:31, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- Done. (I was just making sure the author was happy with the new merged content before clearing these anyway.)--– Nubis NWO 13:11, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- "A Speedy Deletion may be circumvented by a single vote of Keep under the request. If this occurs, the system operator shall move the Speedy Deletion request to the Deletion Request Queue, where the normal rules for Deletion of the page shall apply." -- . . <== DDR Approved Editor 17:21, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- Fine, push if you wish for it to happen. Waste of time for the system op.s, not me, the only thing that eludes me is why you would think I would rather have such pages deleted then hand them over to a new leader? I spent hours bringing that all together and would love if someone was left to maintain them, but with the group dead its wasted space. If you care to look you'll see I originally authored all the pages, although a few may be linked to my old profile (before I found out about the nickname feature) zach016. We had one hellva arguement over the basis behind infection if you happen to remember.--G-Man 01:29, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

By the way, is there a way to internally link to redirects without it redirecting you?
--Pedentic 04:36, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
- Boxy got it. No, I don't know of a way to link to a redirect without an auto redirect. Linkthewindow Talk 04:47, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
Deleted - the easiest way is to put {{speedydelete}} up the top of the page, that breaks the redirect and you can link like normal (it's also supposed to be added to every page up for speedydelete anyway) -- boxy talk • teh rulz 04:48 12 December 2008 (BST)

Crit 1
20070409_Zombie_Scissor_Fingers
20070412_Stuff_That_Won't_Pass
20070420_Chainsaw_Vending_Machines
All crit 1 due to the fact that they didn't even get into the main suggestions system for whatever reason (I can't check due to the history purge). Might not have been cycled, might not have been entered correctly.
All are now useless to the suggestions systems due to the date in the page title that renders them invalid for consideration. Look at them, no-one with half a mind's going to re-enter them for fear of being mistaken for the original author and even Talk:Suggestions would tear these apart. Therefore incoherent content, crit 1.
Also, as some of them have current user sigs on them deletion will save an escalation for certain people under rule 10 of suggestions rules. -- . . <== DDR Approved Editor 13:12, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
- They are in the humourous suggestions category for a reasons -- boxy talk • teh rulz 13:15 11 December 2008 (BST)
- The history of them is that when I was setting up the current suggestions system, we tested it out (before implimentation) by submitting humourous suggestions and seeing how the templates and voting systems worked. These are the test ones, which have at least some worth, I feel, in that some of them are quite funny. They definitely don't qualify for any speedydelete criteria -- boxy talk • teh rulz 13:18 11 December 2008 (BST)
- Having not gone through the system and being in inconsistent formatting means there should really be a template on these telling users why they still exist. Otherwise they could be shuffled into the system and a host of rule 10s issued. -- . . <== DDR Approved Editor 13:25, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
- They are clearly dated from 2007 by the naming format. They are in the humorous category. Boxy knows the history and would reverse any rule 10s that probably won't happen anyway. If someone was dumb enough to cycle in as a new suggestion something that already had votes on it from 2007 then they deserve a VB charge. They don't need a template and they are part of the wiki history. --– Nubis NWO 15:49, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
