Santlerville is a suburb of Malton, located in the northeast of the city. The suburb contains one of the last, and possibly the greatest, bastions of commercialism left within Malton: Dowdney Mall.

During the dot-com boom of the 1990's, Santlerville saw a sharp increase in white-collar jobs. When the bubble burst, commercial development in the suburb stalled, though the towers and office buildings remained as new industries took hold. Dowdney Mall, one of the very last malls to be built before the outbreak, was built at the start of this "commercial era", opened in 2001 during a massive gala to celebrate the reinvigoration of the suburb. The young urban professionals that worked here didn't move in, but they had an increased incentive to hang around when the nightclubs began appearing.

Buildings of interest within the suburb, other than Dowdney Mall, include St. Columbanus's Hospital [74,24], at the centre of Santlerville, which can see regular zombie activity because of the nearby mall, NT Building and revive point.

Additionally, SW Santlerville can see regular zombie activity because of its proximity to Huntley Heights and Randallbank, with the principally targeted buildings being Dennis Row Fire Station (as it is an entry point) and St. Matthew's Hospital. Luckily, the head-quarters for the NE division of the Malton Fire Department are at the adjacent Burrough Row Fire Station.

NecroWatch has reported in from the Hall NT Building with a scan showing 10 zombies at Dennis Row Fire Station, 3 zombies at Burrough Row Fire Station, 2 zombies each at Club Bowerman, Junkyard 74,26 and The Hall Building. Two other zombies are shown singly. --BLusk 18:08, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

February 22^nd

The western edge of Santlerville is under attack, as the zombie horde drive off or eat the few survivors that attempted to hold out. St. Spyridon's is being held by survivors, barely. Burrough Row and St. Matthew's have been retaken by the zombified horde, and are presently being occupied by them. --BLusk 15:06, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

February 20^th

NecroWatch reported in from the Dewes Building today. A recent scan had revealed that there were 46 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, there were 10 zombies at Burrough Row Fire Station, while 4 zombies were at St. Matthew's Hospital, Club Shelley, and the St. Emelia's Church revive point. The remaining zombies were fewer in number and scatter across the area, mostly to the north of the facility. --Mobius 13:08, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

February 1^st

With the beginning of the new month, we begin to see signs of life reemerging in Santlerville. The north is still badly broken, with free running lanes broken by the ruins, though zombie presence has greatly waned, allowing the small groups of the living to remove the standing zeds from many buildings. Dowdney Mall appears to be completely ruined and devoid of life. Its defenders have scattered to nearby boltholes until the Mall Tour '09 wave passes on to meatier pastures. --Mallrat 06:50, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

The geographical and metaphorical heart of Santlerville, The Hall Building and St. Columbanus's Hospital, are lit and EHB, protected by The Dribbling Beavers and allies who decided to take their stand there instead of the hard-to-defend multiroom mall. --Nehcrum 23:52, 24 January 2009 (CET)

January 23^rd

Dowdney Mall was breached and all corners ransacked last night by Mall Tour 2009. Since then, the SW and SE corners have been reclaimed, though the northern half remains zombie-infested. Meanwhile, The Dribbling Beavers and their allies have holed themselves up in the Hall NT and St. Columbanus Hospital to make a stand against the hordes.

The official radio frequency for Santlerville and the surrounding suburbs is 26.06 MHz. This station is called WTDB 26.06: The Dancing Beaver and broadcasts helpful survivor information and building statuses.

Survivors are encouraged to maintain power and radio transmitters in all resource buildings including Dowdney Mall. The phone transmitter building for the suburb is Heckworthy Towers and is usually kept powered and fueled and at EHB.
