Greentown is a suburb of Malton, located in the south of the city. Before the outbreak it was a fairly calm suburb. Many retired citizens made their homes here and in 1998 a group of volunteers built St. Holy's Church, named after Margaret Holy, a wealthy heiress who donated a significant portion of her fortune to local charities.

Greentown is noteworthy for having no NT buildings and only one hospital, which only one other suburb can claim. This seems to be because it was the most religious suburb in Malton, boasting no less than 6 churches. Citizens of Greentown were atypically devout, and therefore believed that God would protect them and shunned worldly cures.

During the outbreak, many of Greentown's citizenry decided to stay in Malton and do good works, but many more decided to form paramilitary groups and "cleanse the city of its unholy blight".
