Suggestion scope
This suggestion would effect everyone.

Suggestion description
We have snow but not snowballs or snowmen. What a travesty. This suggestion is for adding snowballs to the game.

To make a snowball, you have to go and gather snow in a street or otherwise empty block. Gathering the snow and making it into a ball is 1AP. Then you go and throw it at someone with whatever chance to hit you have with axes. I figure the motion to swing an axe and to throw a snowball is pretty similar, so that should make sense. Snowballs cause no harm and cost 1AP to throw.

If you sleep in a powered building, it's probably nice and warm. As such, your snowballs will melt. If you sleep in an unpowered building, your snowballs will not melt. If you are a zombie, your snowballs will not melt (yes, zombies can play too) as long as you are not in a powered building.

Zombies need the memories of life skill to make snowballs. If you don't have the memories of life skill, you can still try, but you will get a message that says "You try to make a snowball but fail and begin to weep silently."

Survivors and zombies can add rocks to snowballs for an additional 1AP while making them. Snowballs with rocks in them will cause 1 point of damage when thrown.

7. Keep minus rocks - Because zombies deserve Christmas fun, too. But no rocks. I don't want a snowball taking 2AP to make. And they really shouldn't be weapons- we've got too many different kinds of lame weapons as it is. Useless snowball=fun. Deadly snowball=just use a gun or a knife or even your *fists*, dude. And EVERYONE should be able to do this, even noob zombies. Just change the flavor text- "You lash uncontrollably at the snow. Kill - Using Axe percentages for snowballs is just plain silly, requiring Memories of Life for making a snowball and the flavour message for failing when you don't have it are both annoying, putting rocks inside snowballs is stupid and having the snowballs melt only while sleeping in a powered building is dumb (how do you define "sleeping" anyway? below 1AP? 5. Change - While there is a suggestion in PR as Funt has linked, I think this is specific enough to get around that, and the percentages are different as well. The only thing that I would like to see changed is the removal of rocks from the snowballs. --Ryiis 14:48, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
