20071222 Cripple v 2
Heretic144 01:41, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
Suggestion type
Skill
Suggestion scope
Zombies with Rend Flesh
Suggestion description
A remake with changes in bold.
Cripple would be a new skill under Rend Flesh. It would allow the zombie a new claw attack, named cripple, with base accuracy 10%. Only survivors with less then 40 HP could be targeted. Therefore, this attack would never deal damage.
A survivor hit by a Cripple attack is flagged as crippled. A survivor flagged in such way has his max HP reduced by 10 until the status is removed (So a survivor with body building will have a max of 50 HP, and a survivor without it will have 40 HP).
The crippled flag can only be removed by surgery, that is, by being healed by a survivor with the Surgery skill, on a powered hospital, or when the survivor dies. Note that the attack itself causes no damage, unless the survivor has more HP than his new max limit. Two cripples do not stack, either, so a survivor can't have all his HP denied in such fashion.

- Keep - I think I fixed it. --Heretic144 01:42, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Weak Keep - Ok you got me. Omega 01:59, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep/make new skill - With the bold bits, it's a good suggestion. The only change I would make is making a zombie skill that allows this to be used.Studoku 02:07, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Weak Keep - Not too sure if this is useful enough. -- AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 04:09, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep - ok, i like it --~~~~ [talk] 12:13, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep-ish - Meh, maybe. --Anti Gorefest5TMW!B! 23:28, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep Makes survivors in a siege leave the mall more. In the event that they hole up long enough without proper medical facilities they end up with lower hp limits and more deaths/break-in, in turn leaning further on their dwindling syringe supplies. Helps destabilize the situation. This does to malls what infection does to loners. Increases value of Hospitals; this makes them unique because while a 50% increase in number of used FAKs, which can be found better in malls anyhow, can replace surgery, nothing but death (hard way!) can replace a Hospital in this function. ...Always forgetting to sign. - Keep - Interesting. It would be a nice buff for zeds in sieges, because they usually only get a few minutes to injure survivors before they're dragged out. --Hhal 01:46, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

- Kill - Meh. Sheana/Gogolnik (T HD-T TMZ) 02:01, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Very Weak Kill - I don't like the flavor. BoboTalkClown 02:17, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Weak Kill - I wanted to vote keep on this, but there seem to be details missing. Can survivors see if another survivor is crippled (so they don't try to heal that extra HP that s/he cant obtain)? Can other zombies see that a survivor has already been crippled, so they don't try to cripple multiple times? Oh, and I think it should do 4HP damage as well, 10% hit rate seems very low for an attack that gets no XP -- boxy talk • i 02:44 22 December 2007 (BST)
- Change - Looks quite useless. ~Ariedartin • Talk • A KS J abt all 05:47, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

- Kill - Hideously underpowered --The Grimch U! E! WAT! 09:03, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Kill/Change - A more sensible effect for cripple would be to take 2AP when moving. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 10:54, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Kill/Change - you've forgotten to include the mirror skill that allows survivors to cripple zombies. --Funt Solo QT 11:10, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Kill/Change ive never done this before. As funt.--Rosslessness 11:29, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Kill both over- and underpowered, and while I don't think it needs a mirror skill, I don't think messing with peoples max HP is a good idea...--CorndogheroT-S-Z 15:43, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

- Kill - Being physically handicapped I would probably get mad at the game late at night when I forget about the skill -- Having "You are crippled" come up suddenly might cause me to get pissed and cause physical damage to my computer without me realizing it. --StarmanHaxor 04:27, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- Kill - Don't like my max HP messed with. I agree that Minidan's 2AP per move cost is a more reasonable affect, though I don't particularly want crippling in the game in any case. --Ms.Panes 04:36, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- Kill - Never liked it in the first place. --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 14:07, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
