Just to make it official, I accept the nomination. Hopefully most of you are familiar with me by now. I served a term as sysop in 2010, then stepped down at the end of my term. I took off for most of 2011 since real life kept me busy, but real life eased up a few months back once I finished with grad school, so I returned to the game and the wiki and have slowly been returning to activity.   That's not really a question...but to respond anyway, I'm currently active in-game with a survivor in the Soldiers of Crossman, a zombie in the MOB, and a PKer in the Philosophe Knights. Overall, I'd say my experiences have been very positive, and I try to enjoy all aspects of the game to the greatest extent possible, which is why my characters are so different from one another. I'm also pretty much the same in-game as I am on the wiki: even when I'm shooting/eating/combat reviving you, I still try to be polite about it. Since I started playing in 2009, I've been involved with or present for a few notable events. I was with the SoC at Blackmore 4(04), helping out with real-time barricading and alerts via 404's IRC channel (talk about a draining experience, but, boy, was it fun). I was representing the PKer community at ESCAPE by making 5 kills in a single attack a few days before the event's high point (the clearest indication of zerging countermeasures I have personally ever seen, I'll add), then I showed up a few days later with my MOBster to help seal the deal (alas, the honor of forming the successful beachhead went to a different strike team). My currently-inactive character is more or less my spare character. I play it as a Dual Nature when it's active, unless I have something specific for which I need an otherwise unaffiliated character (such as BB3, which it joined). I've also participated in a few side events, such as AHMH3, a little bit of theater, and a few other things I can't discuss (but which were really cool). I've also been involved with leadership at a variety of levels in all of those groups (and even one that I'm not even a member of O_o). —Aichon— 18:22, 10 August 2012 (BST)

• Super Absolute Vouch - I'm not shy in my fanboying of Aichon. I've seen a fair few sysop types around and I've assessed them throughout their term with a very fine comb and Aichon is without doubt the best operator I've had the pleasure of witnessing and working with, and very close to winning the (admittedly stupidly theoretical) title of perfect sysop.   D'aww. Thanks. But, just so you know, the "glory days" are merely a myth that people perpetuate for reasons I don't fully understand. I definitely was more active the first time around, since I had quite a bit of free time and was exploring something that was brand new to me (the game and the wiki). • Against - Since this bid there has been a trend toward clearly unconfusing and less confusing election bids I find purely distasteful. Particularly in regards to the bold words at the beginning being by and far too clear and succinct.   You'll note, good sir, that yours is actually the fourth vowel-initiated comment on this bid. Moreover, Revenant's comment above demonstrates his worldliness since it is clearly a quote from one of the well-regarded centaurs of New Zealand (as opposed to their lesser-known tramp cousins), who, as we are all aware, are quite capable of speaking in sheepish (little known fact: all native-born kiwis can do so, but they don't like talking about it for obvious reasons). As for confusing and succinct, I submit Misanthropy's comment for the former and Seagull's for the latter as counterexamples to your erroneous claims of clarity and brevity.
