Metallica sold out ages ago, and they weren't even that good before that. If you want real thrash metal, listen to Slayer. But if you want death metal (no, I don't mean Slipknot, or Disturbed, or Avenged Sevenfold, they're all posers) listen to Death, or Morbid Angel, or the like - great stuff. But if you want technical death metal (which is the best), listen to Necrophagist, Decapitated, Atheist, Nile, Quo Vadis, Spawn of Possession...the list goes on almost indefinitely. If so, I would recommend listening to Quo Vadis(lyrics), a technical melodic death metal band. I'm obsessed with technicality, so this is my favorite melodic death band. They're pretty incredible musically; ingenious melodies and harmonies with philosophical lyrics and a classical influence.

Thank god I've finally found someone to have a political discussion with. Being an independent (as I'm guessing you are), you probably know how difficult it is to find someone else who dislikes the two-party system. I guess there is no getting around the fact that I'm a populist and you a libertarian - but we both hate the current system. I wonder...have you ever considered a change in the current voting system? Such as a proportional representation? I haven't found many independents, so I'm wondering what your views on that are.

But I still have a few questions. How would the law be upheld in a libertarianism, at least from your point of view? I suppose you'd want transportation, education, and health insurance paid for...and do you believe in a strong national defense? I don't know how you'd do so with such low taxes...but then, I really don't know much about libertarianism. To be honest, I can hardly imagine a libertarian society, but I guess that's because I've grown up in a government-controlled country. Also, how would you escape a class system in which the poor are stuck in the lower class and the rich in the higher class? And whom do you vote for, in presidential elections?

The views on said subjects vary from libertarian to libertarian, but in my personal brand i do support proportional representation (but in ways your probably not thinking of), i think government should build roads but eminent domain should not be a power of the state, education should probably be privatized, with grants going to the poor, I'm 50/50 about heathcare but most libertarians prefer privatization, deregulation, and detaxation(a word of my own invention), and (some of this is libertarian rhetoric some of it my own) the two biggest problems with the gap widening between the haves and have-nots is (1)taxes, the richest 5-15% dont pay them because they use overseas tax shelters but the small business man can't and gets taxed out of his ass, (2) (personal view)the trade deficit the elite keep their factories out of the country that would employ the bottom 10% for cheaper labor elsewhere (naturally i support a tariff)--Imthatguy is on the wiki looking at ur pagez 19:39, 15 October 2009 (BST)

So I guess that makes sense...I completely agree with you about the rich keeping factories outside of the U.S. in places like China, where there is cheap and child labor; thus, I would also support a tariff. I find your first reason, though (the one about overseas tax shelters) quite intriguing; perhaps you can explain in more detail. I do, however, agree that small business owners are being taxed too much, so I didn't agree with Obama on his 250K+ tax - many of the huge corporate executives that I despise are in that range, but I would rather that they be punished for corruption than be taxed like that, where you say that they can escape taxes.

But then you also say that you support a proportional representation, but not of the kind I'm thinking of - what kind are you thinking of? And whom do you vote for, come presidential elections?

By the way, I read your article on tax shelters - it was quite informative, and so I understand what you mean when you say that corporate executives have tax shelters in foreign nations. I've never heard of that happening, but based on my belief of such executives, I do not doubt that they would do so. Which is why I would support much, much more funding towards corporate crime prosecution budgets and other such measures to keep them in check. As for my "version" of a proportional representation - well, I would prefer any kind of PR over our plurality system, but my voting method of choice would probably be either choice voting or an open party list system. So...if i get this straight, you reverted his signature to something that was originally brought forward as vandal banning. In fact as i understand it all Umbrella members have a similar signature, with the only difference being their names. Hell off the top of my head heres a few [10], [11], [12], heck even Haliman used to have something similar right here [13]. As i understand it imthatguy is a member of Umbrella Biohazard Containment Service. IF that is correct hes following a long line of Umbrella signatures, he just hadn't finished putting some editing touches on it. He had to change it pretty fast there to avoid vandal banning, now didn't he. Perhaps if we had some input from guy, he would be able to tell you himself he had not yet finished editing the signature, he had only just started. --

His signature used to link to Thad's page. It doesn't any more, from what I can see, but it did at the time that the impersonation charges were leveled.
