The western and central parts of Starlingtown are a wreck. More than one hundred zeds have steamrolled through the western and now central sections of the Suburb. Both hospitals and all of the buildings around them with the current exception of Veazey Towers  have fallen and are now ruined with heavy survivor casualties, and Veazey is currently under siege by over twenty zombies and manned by only a small number of survivors and I do not think they will hold out for much longer. From what I can gather of the Northern section, there seems to scattered amounts of Zeds and mostly ruined buildings. The Eastern section appears much the same. The South-Central and South-East sections of Starlingtown are still relatively safe with low numbers of zeds, although I would not stay here for more than a day due to the presence of such a large horde. Recommending an upgrade of this suburb's danger section to Very Dangerous.

Starlingtown is a suburb of Malton, located in the east of the city. It is one of the few upper class suburbs on the east end. With little to no crime rate, Starlingtown does not have a police station, and relied upon neighboring precincts to enforce the law. The Starlingtown skyline is distinguished with its several business buildings and was known for its socialite nightlife in its many clubs.

Revivification Requests

Anyone looking for a revive in Starlingtown should head to the North Cemetery [93, 43]. The South Paynterton Aces service this revive point regularly so just kick back and relax (shoes shined while you wait). They also hand out revives at the South Cemetery [94, 47] too, but somewhat less frequently. Post revive requests on their forum and they'll come help!

May 27th

Continuing from my last report, the Zombies have wiped out West Starlingtown. Brendan has fallen, along with the factories and clubs next to it and so has the Veryard building. The few remaining buildings with lights on have at least eight zombies outside them. There's a large concentration of zeds moving West, numbering at least eighty, maybe more, as well, moving in groups of 10-20. I do not think Veazey Towers and St. Alban's Hospital will last for too much longer... -Adalfieri 14:26, 27 May 2011 (BST)

May 26th

"... thirty or so in Starlingtown ... mostly just small groups ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... some minor structural damage ... power's on at the Casely Building ..." Sukyanti 03:06, 26 May 2011 (BST)

A medium to large amount of zombies have been pouring into the westernmost regions of Starlingtown. They've overrun Brendan General Hospital and look to be set on a course to demolish the remaining lit buildings in the area before possibly heading deeper into Starlingtown or heading elsewhere. May 6th

25.96 MHz: "... around a hundred and fifty in Starlingtown ... a few big groups, but they're spread out ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... serious collateral damage ... the Casely Building has fallen ..."

25.96 MHz: "... flying over Starlingtown, can see around a hundred and fifty on the streets ... a few big groups, but they're spread out ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... serious collateral damage ... looks like the Veryard Building has fallen ..."
Two reports, three hours apart, one message: the suburb is Very Dangerous. -- Kittithaj 21:49, 6 May 2011 (BST)

March

March 24th

There is sporadic fighting in the vicinity of the Veryard building. Zombies are occasionally getting inside, but the survivors are holding on and the rest of the suburb is safe for human habitation. Starlingtown status remains green. --Jenkem 21:50, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

March 8th

25.96 MHz: "... flying over Starlingtown, can see twenty or so on the streets ... all stragglers, no groups ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... infrastructure looks intact ... the Veryard Building has lights on ... the Casely Building is in bad shape ..."

25.96 MHz: "... flying over Starlingtown, can see maybe a dozen on the streets ... all stragglers, no groups ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... infrastructure looks intact ... the Veryard Building has lights on ... the Casely Building is in bad shape ..."
Two reports, three hours apart, some zombies disappeared. The suburb is safe. -- Kittithaj 18:38, 8 March 2011 (UTC)

Things to do while in Starlingtown

  • Quench the thirst for Beer! - The Hartry Arms is open at all hours of the day, 7 days a week, serving free ice-cold beers. What more could you ask for? Nothing, that's what. So drop on by the pub and quench that thirst, play some billiards or darts, and chat it up with some of the friendliest survivors this side of Malton. Close to Club Firminger, you can have a good party!.
  • Hurt? No worries, free health care! - St. Alban's Hospital the best place for your health care! Infected and can't make it to Alban's? Easy, stop by Buller Clinic and we'll have you cured faster than you can say massive doses of antibiotics. The nearest NecroTech installation can be found at the Veryard Building
  • Party? Where? - In Club Firminger you can have the best party with the Barman Alvaromesa!
  • Soooo CUTE! - Head on down to The Matthews Museum and spread stuffed animals all across Starlingtown!
  • What the ROT!? - Is your brain rotted? Do you want to come back to life, but you are sick of getting down barricades to get it? Head up to The Casely Building and ask any gentle South Paynterton Aces member for your number in the Rotters Revive Clinic
