20071220 Hero
Heretic144 19:49, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Suggestion type
New Skill
Suggestion scope
Survivors and Zombies
Suggestion description
A new survivor skill called "Hero" would be created, with a prerequisite of being level ten, just like Headshot.
A Heroic survivor would have a button labelled "Heroics" available at all times. Clicking it would cost 1 AP and 100XP and the next action the survivor takes (next action only) has the success rate doubled. Yes, this means a maxed out shotgun blast has 100% accuracy. If a survivor took an action that has no failure rate involved, like healing someone, then the Heroic bonus is lost, along with the XP spent to activate it.
Any action done while under the influence of Heroics doesn't grant XP at all.
Zombies would have a parallel skill that functions the same way, although I can't think of an appropriate name at this time. (suggestions welcome)

Keep Votes
- Author Keep --Heretic144 19:50, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep/Change Maybe instead of doubling the % just make it add a fixed number. Having a 100% shot at doing something is bad. Maybe +25%?- --Jon Pyre 20:09, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep - Cause I can --/~WOOT~\ 21:26, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
Kill Votes
- Kill - I don't like spending XP on things. Also, I can't really think of many things that really need a double success rate. A shotgun blast, maybe, but that's about it --Druuuuu OcTRR 20:04, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Kill - It is underpowered in it's current form. However, if you fixed it, it would be overpowered--CorndogheroT-S-Z 21:32, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Kill - I have well over five-thousand experience by now. That equals using this more than fifty times. Which means that in one day, when fully stocked to the brim with shotguns (and a fireaxe), I can potentially destroy an entire horde. Which can only mean one thing... --Private Mark 22:12, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Kill - How many times do I have to vote "kill" on XP sucking wastes of time again? --Ms.Panes 23:08, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Kill boost percentages by all means, but there must be some chance of faliure.--Rosslessness 09:39, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
- Kill - Leave our XP alone. ~Ariedartin • Talk • A KS J abt all 14:45, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
- Kill - I want a decent XP suggestion... But this ain't it. UCFSD 17:01, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
- Kill - Incomplete, you need to have all aspects of your suggestion down on paper, otherwise it is incomplete. -- BKM 00:19, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Kill - Sorry, I don't like XP spending, and 100% hit chance is most-assuredly bad. --TriPolarClicky! 02:50, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
Spam/Dupe Votes
- Spam - Costly Does Not Equal Balanced and Don't Create Multi-Step Skills. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 20:04, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Spam - Take this to Talk:Suggestions and we might could redeem it. But as of now, no. Some people have over 10,000 XP stored. They would be able to use this constantly. Nalikill TALK E! W! M! USAI 20:12, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Spam - This is irredeemably bad. Blatant trenchcoatery, breaks the dos and do nots, and is all round fucking stupid. Im also getting mighty tired of people saying they dont like major parts of a suggestion but voting keep anyway. --The Grimch U! E! WAT! 21:35, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

- Spam - As so many above me. Acoustic Pie 17:11, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
- Ham-Even worse than spam, ham WILL get bad in the fridge. I don't want a 100% sucess rate, it takes the fun out of things. And ditto from above. --Shotstol 16:22, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
