Pitneybank is a suburb of Malton, located in the east side of the city. Locations of note include Giddings Mall and the eastern edge of Fort Creedy, which is primarily in neighboring Peppardville.

Before the outbreak, it had the 2nd of the highest populations in Malton, after East Grayside. Because of its large population, it also suffered many losses in the outbreak. But unlike East Grayside, many people in the suburb stood together and fought off the zombie hordes instead of fleeing their homes. Because of this, many people found this place as a safe haven from the infected.

The suburb hosted a major standoff between the Second Big Bash and various survivor groups based in Giddings Mall and the Morrish Building in January '08. That battle saw the introduction of the Beachhead Tactic.

Historically, The Many's attack on Giddings Mall which began around September 2005 was a defining event for the suburb.

As of November 13th 2008 Pitneybank was the most viewed suburb page on the wiki with over 181,600 page hits.

March 14^th

March 8^th=

With Fort Creedy destroyed, the Morrish and Farmer NT buildings devoured and a corner of Giddings Mall ruined and occupied, the Ridleybank Resistance Front's Excursion IV: Culture Shock tour has brutalised the suburb of Pitneybank. March 6^th

The population of Fort Creedy have fallen victim to the Ridleybank Resistance Front, with the entire complex now ruined. Escapees have taken refuge from the horde wherever they can, but the zombies are not far behind. --Papa Moloch 20:35, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

March 5^th

Fort Creedy has been stormed by the Ridleybank Resistance Front. The gatehouse has been ruined and zombies have spread throughout the compound, breaching key buildings within. Survivor numbers inside remain high, but the casualty rate indicates that the fort will only be able to bear another few days of this attack before it falls entirely. --Papa Moloch 10:44, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

March 4^th

Fort Creedy is under attack by a mob of about 30 zombies. At the time of this report, 20 undeads are still inside the gate out against 80 survivors. And there are 20 of them gathering outside dying to get in. -- Kittithaj 06:10, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

February 20th

Creedy appears to be under attack from a group of ferals. Presently the gatehouse is damaged and the armoury is without power. The armoury is overcaded, uncertain about the other areas... Nemesis645 09:02, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

February 19th

Giddings has been suffering from a few breakins. Many wounded survivors have been dragged into the streets by the angry zombies, while PKing appears to be running riot. The radio is presently being spammed for the Morrish building to be reclaimed, though nothing much is happening.

February 18^th

A concentrated attack on the Morrish Building by more than twenty zombies successfully penetrated the human defense. The building now lies ruined with about 90 bodies (!) littered outside. About 30 zombies are waiting anxiously for revival at Walrond Square. But with only one NT building left, it could take a while. To make the matter even worse, some clueless survivors take this chance to waste their time and bullets by shooting zombies at the revive line. -- Kittithaj 14:54, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

February 14^th

Amongst the survivors that retook the St. Benedict's Hospital, were members of the 41st Death Commandos (41st DC) who reportedly evicted the last of the zombies, repaired, caded it and supplied a generator. Currently a small force of survivors are maintaining the cades and the powered hospital is supplying the area with much needed FAKs. February 13^th

There was a breach earlier today at St. Benedict's Hospital by a group of about ten zombies. All survivors residing in the hospital were apparently killed. Although this is Friday the 13^th, survivors won't let the dead get what they want. The building was cleared within less than 18 hours. The official radio frequency for Pitneybank and the surrounding suburbs in the NE-5 district is 26.10 MHz. The other main radio frequency in use is 26.70 MHz, the dedicated frequency for Giddings Mall and Fort Creedy. These stations broadcast helpful survivor information and building statuses.

Survivors are encouraged to maintain power and radio transmitters in all resource buildings including Giddings Mall. The phone transmitter building for the suburb is Howland Street School and is usually kept powered and fuelled and at EHB.
