NOTE: This is an in-game movement. It is not a Wiki Policy or an official rule of the game.

What is the HAT Policy?

Throughout Malton, there are a large number of Player Killer groups, most of which operate independently. Some of these groups maintain lists of characters that should or should not be killed. Some don't. The Honour Among Thieves Policy is meant for the latter groups, and states that the groups in agreement will try to avoid killing fellow PKers. Obviously Bounty Hunters and groups with similar operations are not covered by this policy.

In summary, the supporters of this policy commit to the following:

  1. Avoid killing fellow PKers when possible and reasonable.
  2. If aware that a fellow PKer is about to be PKed, attempt to warn, if feasible.
  3. If one's word is given, that word is kept.
  4. Whatever else the supporting player/groups feels like providing, such as healing and/or reviving.
