- Iunno. Put it on A/PM if you want, but it's not likely to be edited. I didn't want to touch it at the time since there was more due to be added to it, but that never came to pass so I guess it won't hurt. 20:25, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
Mis' BAFTA predictions
Cause they're starting and I'm about to take a shower.
- Film: King's Speech
- Actor: Colin Firth
- Actress: Natalie Portman
- Supporting Actor: Torn, Rush or Bale. Bale's stronger but Rush was in an English film so that's automatic points. Possibly Rush.
- Supporting Actress: Amy Adams
- British Film: Four Lions (I'd say King's Speech but they always pull this one so they can award more films at a time)
- Debut: Morris
- Rising star: Genuinely difficult one. Tom Hardy is the strongest, but he's been going for some time, so I don't know if he'll get the votes. Still my pick though, especially after Bronson.
Mis will likely return from washing to find himself completely wrong (on most counts he hopes to be...) 21:16, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

- So… you think it's perfectly fine to break the functioning of the wiki and breach a policy in doing so, all in an attempt to force people to use some arbitrary and unenforceable talk page “rules” rather than reformat or delete comments on your talk page as is your right?
Ever think of adding a “edit this section, drongos” header with copy+paste-able instructions for people to follow and maybe a highly visible link to it – y'know, making it easier for people to contact you? ᚱᛁᚹᛖᚾᚨᚾᛏ 00:27, 13 April 2011 (BST)- Yes. Timeline
Hey, I've taken on too many projects. Care to take over for a while on this timeline that I started. I sort of got the idea from you anyway. I give you, Misanthropy permission to edit that sandbox if ya want to. ~ 04:24, 15 March 2011
- I'll have a bash but I'm liable to break it. 05:18, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
- Oh yeah I forgot I was supposed to add editing instructions. You basically alternate between:
|- | | | |<!--Date and Game Update (if applicable)-->'''Date''' *(Update) |<!--Update Impact--> *''(Impact)'' |<!--Historical Event--> *(Event)
and
|- |align=right|<!--Historical Event--> *(Event) |align=right|<!--Update Impact--> *''Impact'' |align=right|<!--Date and Game Update (if applicable)-->'''(Date)''' *(Update) |
Its no big deal if you don't alternate all the time. I was going to go through all the game updates first and then go back and add Historical events. I started to go through Historical Groups as well and was just going to add their creation dates. I'm no historian, though. I just haven't been a part of the community long enough to piece it all together. Then I got sidetracked and just haven't had the drive to go back to this, though I think it's a good project and hate seeing it ignored. ~ 05:33, 15 March 2011

Hi Misanthropy! As we can see, you made your first edits to this wiki not long ago. It's OK to be new, and we encourage new blood to join and enrich our community. At the same time, we understand that no one is a perfect wiki editor straight off the bat, and, just in case you get stuck, here're some useful tips to help you out. Please take the time to read them.
General Editing |
Further help for editing the wiki can be found on the Help page. |
Project Mentor |
Project Mentor has been set up to allow new wiki users to have a more experienced wiki veteran mentor them for the first few weeks. Visit its page for more information! |
Your User Page |
One of the great things about the wiki is that every user can have his or her own user page! These pages are located in the User: namespace — in other words, they all begin with "User:" (yours is User:Misanthropy). The appropriate place to write about yourself or your characters is on your user page, or a subpage of that page (e.g., User:Misanthropy/Your Character's Name). Please don't create pages about yourself outside the User: namespace. Those pages will be moved into subpages of your user page, and the original speedily deleted. If you want something to be deleted, use the speedy deletion page; that's why Criterion 7 was made. |
User Talk Pages |
Every user has a talk page, found by clicking the "discussion" link at the top of his or her user page, or by going directly to it (yours would be User talk:Misanthropy). If you have a question for someone, or want to say something to him or her, his or her user talk page is the place. However, many users on the wiki have established specific guidelines for how their user talk pages are to be treated — where new comments should go, how they should be written, what is or is not okay to talk about, etc. Be sure to look for guidelines on the talk page before you leave a comment. If you don't see any guidelines specified, the assumption is that you should place your comment at the bottom of the talk page, under a level 2 heading. This can be accomplished by clicking the "+" link next to the "edit" tab at the top of the talk page, or by manually typing in your message in this format: ==Message title==
Your message goes here When replying to a comment already laid on the page, remember to indent it correctly: do it by inserting as many colons plus one to the message you're replying to at the begining of your message, like this: ==Message title==
Your message :User's reply ::Your reply |
The Suggestions Page |
We know that as a new user, you want to share your ideas with us. But a community as big as ours has already seen all kind of suggestions, and it's possible that we've already seen something very similar to the ideas you have. Follow these simple guidelines to make sure that your suggestion gets the respect that it deserves:

Additional Contacts |
If there's anything not covered by this introduction, you still have plenty of avenues to find some extra help. Project Welcome and Project Mentor are perfect starting points, but if you have something more pressing at hand, don't be afraid to get in touch with the administration staff. |
Remember: These guidelines may look difficult to learn and follow, but they're mainly just common sense! Think about what you're going to say or do before you do it! If you don't make an effort to do so, then why would others have the obligation to be nice to you? Feel free to ask any Project Welcome member if you need help, that's our purpose anyways!
If you want to delete this text, just delete the {{Welcomenewbie}} line from your talk page. Remember that you can always have access to these tips on the Project Welcome/Welcomenewbie page.--Karloth Vois ¯\(°_o)/¯ 02:53, 11 May 2011 (BST)
I have noticed that you didn't have a talk page and were eligible for being welcomed by members of our staff. But, checking the number and date of your contributions, I decided to just point you towards the template itself and offer you my help whenever you ask for it. Feel free to stop at Project Welcome/Welcomenewbie if you want a useful array of tips, Help:Contents and the detailed help down here if you want a deeper insight on how a wiki works. Also, use my talk page whenever you have any question about wiki technicalities and/or the specific rules that pertain this particular wiki. See yah! | ||||||||

- Last year was the anti-puppet option. Glad to see everyone appreciated that. I have a few ideas for how to do it this time round, but it'll not be until about August or so. I think from now on it's going to have to be a fellowship voting kind of thing, like real life awards ceremonies. What I do need, though, is feedback on the actual award categories themselves. 17:00, 30 May 2011 (BST)
- We need some of olde revived, especially "Most witty PKer", "Best-dressed PKer" and "Services to the Industry". Also don't forget the BHers this year, at least it provides us with a broader audience. -- Spiderzed█ 17:08, 30 May 2011 (BST)
