The Signature Race is a group whose main goal is to be the biggest group of attention whores by placing their signature all over the wiki. You can see how well people are doing by looking at the most linked to pages. It's like the Cold War, but less deadly if something goes wrong.

About
Well as we said, we are looking for attention or for a bit of friendly competition, and we are doing this by not creating drama, or by being the biggest group in game, but by having our names plastered everywhere. The benefits are as follow:
- People will know who you are
- People won't instantly hate you
However there may be some cons as well. These are as follows:
- People may get sick and tired of seeing your name everywhere
How
It's simple, sign up and start signing your name everywhere. Can you see a page that doesn't have a link to your name on it? Sign it. Of course you'll want to stay within the rules so it's advised that you stick to the talk pages and the suggestions.

Signature Race vs Wiki
With us having so many links though our sigs, and so many sigs linking to this page, I wondered how this page ranked. The answer is not so high - actually it's sitting at #71, lower than many of our user pages! Let's fix that: put a link in your sig! Maybe Signature Race as a whole can take down User:Matthewfarenheit when none of use can individually?
And it's a good effort so far, with a gain of over 550 links in the first 48 hours!
By August 18 2007, Signature Race had reached 24th, within 200 links of User talk:Matthewfarenheit. And then Matt put a link to sig race in his sig, which catapulted Sig race past EVERY user. The only question now is, will Signature Race break into the top 10, and if so, when?
