Although survivors are attempting to stem the tide, the zombie menace in East Becktown is expanding. Electrical power is almost non-existent in these troubled times, and while many buildings in the NE quadrant of East Becktown are still standing, the screams of the dying (though rarely the groans of the undead, curiously...) from the south and central sections of the suburb seem to be moving ever closer to the last remaining safehouses... --WanYao 02:01, 17 July 2008 (BST)

March 21st

Most of the suburb is in ruins; however, an organized cadre of humans appears to be holding strong in and around the Kening Building NT in the northmost edge of the suburb. --Chronolith 17:07, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

March 19th

The NTs are caded and lit, zed presence is minimal, and the suburb is recovering quickly. A few zombies remain, but those awaiting revive outumber them. -Aidan Swart 00:13, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Of course with everything to the south red and the number of survivors dropping rapidly, stating there are active NT's in the zone is magnet for the zombie hordes. Thanks for ensuring the zombies will focus on this zone. --Wke235 10:50, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

February

February 20th

The southern area of East Becktown is in shambles. Edward General Hospital, Barbara General Hospital, Club Normandare, and Loney Row Police Dept - the suburbs only PD - fell to the zombie hordes. Additional structures are under attack as I write. There is a growing number of feral zombies that have been attracted to the area by the feeding groans and the "courtesy drag-n-feed" tactics that the MOB initiated. Things are looking bad for East Becktown. It seems it will succumb soon, in spite of the brave resistance offered by members of the 82nd AB in the area. Apparently nothing can stop the advance of the current wave of destruction and chaos.--FLZombie 01:36, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

The influx of zombies into the area has lead to the destruction of most of the buildings in East Becktown. There are still survivors in a few structures, but not much is left to be ruined. This suburb is not safe at all for survivors.--FLZombie 18:38, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

February 19th

Tonight the Militant Order of Barhah struck at a few more targets in East Becktown. James General Hospital, St. Ethelbert's Hospital, St. Elisabeth's Hospital, and The Barlow Museum were all hit. In all four cases, the MOB decided to provide free meals for feral zombies by leaving the survivors outdoors, as a gesture of good will among zeds. This does not bode well for East Becktown, since this tactic might ultimately lead to zombie saturation in this suburb.--FLZombie 04:51, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

February 18th

In an overnight incursion, the MOB has taken two facilities in what was apparently probing attacks. The Brain Liberation Front took Adney Auto Repair with little resistance that required no additional reinforcements. The Nightly Inquisition took the Daubney Building - again, relatively unprotected. A few feral zombies were seen in the vicinity of this last building. Additional zombies will begin moving into this suburb as well, promising to turn it into another Darvall Heights, that fell in three days. Survivors are being told to relocate south to Lukinswood while this latest ravenous zombie horde passes through, and ignore their pleas for more brains.--FLZombie 22:49, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

January

January 26th

NecroWatch reported from the Kening, Sugg, Daubeney, and Attwell Buildings revealing that there were an estimated 75-80 zombies within scanning range of all 4 facilities. Of note, the scans showed there were 6 zombies at Edward General Hospital, 5 zombies at a factory, and 4 more zombies at St. Ethelbert's Hospital. The remaining zombies that were detected within East Becktown were shown to be scattered. --Mobius187 20:40, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

January 20th

The suburb is devoid of life, most survivors seen in any one building were less than 5, no groups of zombies bigger than 3, and only about 8 zombies seen in the whole suburb.--Karekmaps?! 20:34, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Not true, check out the NTScans from the three up NT buildings. OverlordQ 04:19, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

January 4-12th

The 82nd Airborne Divison sent out a platoon of 10 soldiers and secured all of East Beck Town. The 82nd was able to repair and rebarricade almost all of the buildings there. Suriviors are told to rearm at Ackland Mall in Havorcroft and to help other suriviors to clear up the remaining 10-30 zombies in ESB. The 82nd was able to repel a dangerous attack on the Ackland Mall. Have the Daubeney Building fully opreation, and dont let any Pker's to enter the NT labs. Suriviors are aknowledged to form surivior groups to hold ESB and to make it a safe town.(Mac4life2)

December

December 27th

Barbara General Hospital, Billet Row School, Gresley Cinema, The Powe Arms, the Hussey Building, the Stenhouse Arms, St. Eleutherius's Hospital, Downing Towers, the Sugg Building (NT), and the Fish Building are ruined. More are likely ruined; these are the ones I saw on my way out of town. There don't appear to be many zeds on the streets or in buildings, but use caution, and expect to find your route blocked. Keep enough AP to get home safe.   --cuio (talk) (NW) 05:19, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

After almost two weeks of desolate ruination following the total collapse of any survivor presence in this region the valiant forces of the DHPD commanded by none other than DHPD Commissioner FmrPFCBob himself are now leading the way with a concerted attack deep into the NW dead zone and are as we speak fighting off a growing zombie siege at the Atwell NT. --Zeug 14:10, 1 September 2007 (BST)

After a successful raid on the Atwell Building roughly two days ago, a strike force made up of DHPD officers and other brave survivors have begun pulling out of the area. The raid resulted in a resupply of precious Mk. II syringes. Even as the strike force fades away into the mists of the shattered Northwest, the next strike is being planned. DHPD Fights On! -- Kenefie Station Chief Harry Likos, DHPD

August

August 19th

Extinction zombie troops have taken the Daubeney NT in the town center bringing all the town's NT's under zombie control. The safehouses surrounding these and other key TRP's are being systematically ransacked and ruined. Survivor resistance since the destruction of the Caiger Mall defense force at the hands of strike horde LUE has been remarkably light and disorganized, apparently overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of zombies and a multitude of organized zombie groups. --Zeug 10:44, 19 August 2007 (BST)

August 18th

With the most recent fall of Caiger Mall to a horde of several hundred zombies, nearly every building surrounding the mall that can be ruined has been, including many of those in northern East Becktown.--Insomniac By Choice 01:37, 19 August 2007 (BST)

August 13th

A serious zombie incursion has been taking place over the past few days. They finally cleared the Attwell Building of all survivors today or yesterday. The revive point nearby is useless. --Ghills 16:15, 13 August 2007 (BST)

July

July 12th

The Sugg Building is ransacked. St Elisabeth's hospital was briefly occupied, once again it's been emptied. Frequent small survivor incursions into the Daubeney Building claim zombie casualties, but the zombies making their homes there doggedly stand each time. The Percival Building containing the region's phone mast seems to be under small-scale attack at this time. --Jantrit 14:15, 12 July 2007 (BST)

July 4th

St. Elisabeth's Hospital is now Ransacked. Iwitness --Murgel 09:00, 4 July 2007 (BST)

July 3rd

St. Elisabeth's Hospital has been has been overrun by a small zombie feeding frenzy of about 8 individuals. Hurry, there's still a few tasty morsels inside!

July 1st

A small, stubborn group of zombies has repeatedly broken into the Daubeney Building and been repelled in recent days, inflicting a few survivor casualties each time and talking amongst themselves and to the survivors in the building. One of the zombies rants frequently during such break-ins, repeating phrases a local zombie translation enthusiast notes as "my home", "go home", and "no more humans in my house". Survivor reinforcements gradually trickle into the building, local zombies' interest in the site also seems to be slowly increasing. --Mold 04:57, 1 July 2007 (BST)

Update - Daubeney Building ransacked, but the rotting meat shield is only a few zombies thus far. Will the ransack hold? Only time will tell. --Mold 05:43, 1 July 2007 (BST)

Drama Club was scheduled to perform "Apocalypse Now" in The Doggrell Hotel for the BARBRAZ organization. However, no one was home at the time so they performed for the two zombies outside the building instead. The group plans to travel in a counter-clockwise expanding spiral from the center of the town to the outer edges. See their group page for performing groups and schedules.

BARBRAZ management was unfortunately dead on the ground outside Doggrell. However the DC troupe f*ing rocked and we're sorry we had to watch it from the gutter. BARBRAZ doors are now officially open!

April 16th

We are pleased to announce that BARBRAZ has been surveying this suburb with a view to opening its first franchise in Malton. Current negotiations are centred on the abandoned Doggrell Hotel. Prospective employees and interested parties should get in touch through the BARBRAZ talk page. BARBRAZ management feels that the several local hospitals (and in particular Barbara General) together with nearby NT facilities (in case of accidental over-eating) make this suburb particularly suited for Malton's first flagship franchise.

The suburb seems to be getting back on it's feet, while still very dangerous many buildings are now barricaded as well as several hospitals. The NecroTech buildings are still overrun though.

East Becktown is totally lost now, nowhere safe to stay and every building is surrounded. There are currently 25zeds awaiting revive at Dinmead lane. This looks like a full on siege from my POV. Hospitals and PDs are lost. Is anywhere safe in EB now... --Merlyn426 Monday, February 19, 2007 21:00

September 20th

A Disturbing trend of anti-DHPD graffiti has spread throughout Roywood. False statements such as " 'x' is for DHPD only" or "Join the DHPD or die" have appeared on many buildings recently. It is not known who is spraying this graffiti, but one thing is for sure, It is NOT DHPD personnel.

April

Ars Requiem and Zombie, Inc combine into Z-Team, and start PLEBhunt '06 , their controversial player-hunting contest. Only members of the PLEB are targeted. Local support for the contest begins to grow, with unaffiliated Becktowners offering PLEB first-aid kits, revives after being PKed, and tips on Z-Team whereabouts. PLEB members were reported to be amused at this blatant attempt from previous unsuccessful zombie groups to find a way to attain some measure of revenge. PLEB continues to go about its business of keeping Becktown safe and helping the citizenry and thanks the organisers of PLEBhunt for the free advertising.

February

PLEB claims sightings of human members of Ars Requiem and Zombie Inc traveling inside barricades throughout East Becktown, perhaps combat-revived by foolish scientists. Much of East Becktown is heavily barricaded, but areas within striking distance of the zombie hordes are not safe.

January

January 31st

The Mall Tour announced its intentions to level East Becktown en route to Caiger Mall. The Police Department was overrun; a number of safehouses broken open and careless inhabitants slain. In response, PLEB once again advised all residents to enact Operation Tumbleweed, which they claim has successfully frustrated zombie attacks in the past.

2005

December

In December, 2005, the CotR abandoned the Seige of Caiger Mall and finally attacked East Becktown as they had threatened to do some time before. However, before the New Year the CotR had once more abandoned their assault and were quoted as saying "These guys are too organised for us, let's move on". PLEB were reported to have been pleased with the result and were keen to acknowledge that this was a victory for all Becktown and the people who live there, not simply one group.

November

In November, 2005, the RRF declared East Becktown a target and both arms of the zombie group descended on the suburb. However, after a very short seige, the RRF were called away to aid in the famous Seige of Caiger Mall and East Becktown was left relatively unscathed.

September

September 25th

On September 25th, 2005, PLEB announced its new scheme, which would hopefully more fully guarantee the safety of the average citizen of East Becktown. The new plan met with general approval and was quickly implemented.

Further information on the exact plan, along with a map of the barricade layout of the suburb which PLEB tries to maintain, is available.

September 15th

On September 15th, 2005, the People's Liberation of East Becktown emerged in the suburb with a highly contentious plan to barricade almost the entire suburb to Extremely Heavily. As this met with mixed support, turning into general opposition (which came from other groups in the area, such as the LXM) so strong it threatened to get in the way of more important tasks - like keeping the streets clear of zombies - PLEB eventually put out a new and revised plan of action.
