Kempsterbank is a suburb of Malton, located in the south of the city. The Knights Templar have been working towards the safety, defense, and revival of the living population in the area since June 2006, and in August of 2007, Detulux Inc migrated to the suburb to fill their new warehouse complex with weapons for zombie defense. Most recently, in August 2008, an organised group of zombies, the St. Ferreol's Hospital Noise Abatement Society arose and have been smashing things and eating breathers ever since.

Kempsterbank could use the dedicated radio frequency of 26.19 MHz, which serves the "SE-4" grouping of suburbs - East Grayside, Hollomstown, Kempsterbank, West Grayside and Wyke Hills, but instead most all radio transmitters in the suburb are normally tuned to 27.55 MHz, sometimes accompanied with the NE corner of Pole Mall.

Kempsterbank has a (currently non-UBP) barricade plan.

Merry Everyone! From Midnight tonight St. Ferreol's Hospital Noise Abatement Society have agreed to hold a christmas gathering. So pop over to the hospital. A non agression pact has been put in place until the 26th. Don't shoot us and we wont bite you. Bring some dips. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 11:10, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

With the active fighting of local groups, the invading zombie force has been pushed back. Repair and cleanups are under way, with small concentrations of zeds still left to deal with. Heavy structural damage still, though buildings are getting the blood cleaned off them, and the windows and doors boarded up. Kempsterbank is starting to shine again with lights. -R. Shadow

Military Report: "... reporting from Kempsterbank, I've got over a hundred active ... a few big groups, but they're spread out ... only one building with lights on ... heavy structural damage ... the Jillard Building has fallen ..." (6 hours ago) JD 04:35, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Kempsterbank has a lot of active zombies and break-ins, and has enough zombies in some spots to have a 50+ horde. Kempsterbank is almost lost. Zeds heading south at a slow pace. Outlaw2448

To quote the wiki requirements for being a moderately safe (yellow) suburb, Kempsterbank has, "Active zombies and break-ins, but no 50+ hostile hordes." --Ian McCootchy 17:13, 22 October 2008 (BST)

October 7th

The suburb is in good health. Barricades are maintained at their normal posted levels, power is on in most all buildings, and radios are present in most all buildings as well. PKings are minimal if any, and the occasional zombie attacks around the northern most factory, Julie General, and at the St Ferreol's are usually thrown back into the streets in a few hours, often leaving a handful of infections and a destroyed generator.

The suburb is recovering, some of the out of the way buildings like the banks and cinemas are still down as they require power to fix and the handful of zombies inside won't allow it. Most of the 'burb is secure, and needing barricades put up or some cases and reduction in barricades where the 'cade plan calls for it. Power is slowly creeping out from the factories and from the mall to the south, with most of the resource buildings including 1 PD, both NTs, and half of the hospitals confirmed with power, though radios are far and few between after a few blocks from the mall. Only about 15 zeds on a necronet scan though there dead bodies a plenty around the important VS resources.

Although not completely back to its former glory, the suburb back on its feet. JD 03:33, 26 September 2008 (BST)

September 23rd

At least 94 zombies on the streets. Breakdown of the Tactical Resource Points:

  • 2 NecroTechs: not powered.
  • 2 factories: both powered.
  • 2 Police Departments: 1 ruined, 1 without power.
  • Auto repair: not powered.
  • 6 hospitals: 4 ruined, 1 powered, 1 not.

This fits the description of a dangerous suburb. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 06:52, 23 September 2008 (BST)

NEWS FLASH: As workers attempt to patch up the remains of Kempsterbank, zombies are massing on the eastern edge of the suburb. Reports are coming in of dozens of groans heard coming from Wray Heights. It seems that the Militant Order of Barhah is on the move once again, pursuing the survivors that had headed east.--FLZombie 19:57, 21 September 2008 (BST)

Approximately 109 zombies on the streets, and most of the suburb's Tactical Resource Points in ruins, with the remainder (two NecroTechs, a hospital, a Police Dept. and a factory) not powered. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 22:22, 21 September 2008 (BST)

September 20th

Kempsterbank is in ruins after a week of destruction at the hands of the Militant Order of Barhah and their feral companions. If one is to trust what is depicted on the MOB Locator, roughly 10 buildings and a few junkyards are still up. --FLZombie 15:45, 20 September 2008 (BST)

September 18th

The Militant Order of Barhah is inhabiting Barnard Way PD and several surrounding buildings. The approximate count was about 50 hidden inside with more in the street. This is the group that trashed the Pole Mall.

Loud screams from both the Barnerd Way Police Dept and Julie General Hospital hinted that something was ... different. A scout discovered they were both ruined and dead bodies were all over the ground. When it was noticed that the Jillard NT was also ruined, and that groans and screams were coming from the Burdett Way Police Dept, it was confirmed. The Militant Order of Barhah is in town. -- Grogh 23:14, 17 September 2008 (BST)

Zombies from the horde that overran West Grayside are breaking into buildings near The Jillard Building. --TeknoMerk 20:42, 10 September 2008 (BST)
