Most of the TRCs are now powered and barricaded, including auto repair shops and factories. The very dark buildings such as clubs, banks, etc., remain ruined and opened, often with a "sentry" zombie inside. Zombies in the streets are scattered about in numbers of 2 to 4. NecroWatch reported in from the Delay Building and The Harbord Building. The scan revealed 19 zombies within the scanning range of the facility. Of those numbers, 11 zombies were in Nixbank and 7 zombies were over the borders in neighboring suburbs. The remaining zombies were in numbers of 1 or 2 and posed no serious threats.

March

No report from March. The suburb was considered moderately dangerous during the time, though.

February

February 24th

NecroWatch reported today from The Delay Building. A scan revealed 10 zombies in the area, overlapping with the scan from The Penning Building earlier. A group of 3 zombies gathered at the Dadson Building in Foulkes Village, with 2 in the adjacent junkyard. Other zombies scattered, posing no serious threat to survivors. ~ extropymine Talk | NW | 4Corners 04:27, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

February 23rd

NecroWatch reported today from Harbord Building. A scan revealed 15 zombies in the scanning range. 6 of them are at the Harbord NT itself, with 3 zombies at a nearby junkyard, and all other zombies spread out across the area. While the NT is in danger, the suburb is reasonably secure. ~ extropymine Talk | NW | 4Corners 20:23, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

Update: NecroWatch reported today from The Penning Building today. A scan revealed 8 zombies within scanning range. Of these, 2 were at the Thompson Drive Railway Station and 3 were at the Lavington Crescent Police Department in Wykewood. All others were single zeds along the Nixbank/Wykewood border. They seem to pose no serious threat to any TRPs or to survivors. ~ extropymine Talk | NW | 4Corners 01:58, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

February 10th

NecroWatch reported today from the Harbord Building. A new scan revealed that there were a mere 2 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Neither of these zombies were outside the facility, and in truth they appeared to pose no significant risk to any well-defended survivor safehouse. Survivors in the immediate area can rest easy knowing this fact. --Mobius 18:08, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

February 9th

NecroWatch reported from the Delay Building today. A recent scan revealed that there were only 5 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 3 zombies were at Adalbert General Hospital over in Wykewood, while the remaining two zombies were at different locations. --Mobius 15:05, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

December 26th

Small horde of 10 zombies currently attacking the Harbord Building. There is aprox. 15 dead bodies outside the building as well which will no doubtly add to the horde. From my observation there is a small CAPD influence in the area which is helping quell the zombie horde.--Slavic 22:15, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

December 20th

Traveling North from Foulkes Village I passed through the western side of Nixbank. A handful of building have been left ruined and rotten for weeks. There are still a few resource buildings properly caded with small zombie hordes outside each. It doesn't look like there is much of a survivor presence within the area, at least in the western side of the suburb. If more survivors don't start flowing into the suburb it looks like it might fall into ruin and become abandoned along with Crooketon--Slavic 06:58, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

October

October 5th

Only 4 zombies seen on the streets. 9 of the 11 Tactical Resource Points are powered, leaving the single hospital and 1 of the 2 auto repair shops without power. Much of the remaining suburb is without power, and there are some ruins in the north. Moderate, verging on Safe. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 20:03, 5 October 2008 (BST)

August

August 31st

Recent efforts by local survivors and the Malton Rangers have largely restored the ruins of Nixbank. There is still a moderate zombie presence in the area and break ins occur regularly but most of the suburb is repaired and major resource buildings are reclaimed and operating.--Lord Wulfgar 07:52, 31 August 2008 (BST)

The whole of Nixbank is unsafe, I advise you stay away from there if you wish to survive. My Military report shows over 88% of buildings have been destroyed or over run by zombies. The only safe place was a junk yard with strong barricade, but it was soon over run by the hordes.

A comprehensive scout of Nixbank revealed only about 20 zombies within the suburb's borders. And there are no signs of survivor activity: everything, except for a couple of strafed warehouses in the NE corner, is wide open and ruined. The streets and interiors of Nixbank have largely been abandoned -- by the living and the dead alike. --WanYao 02:12, 8 May 2008 (BST)

Many ruins cleared, Monro Row is cleared, and there are some generators set up. St. Eugene's is barricaded, but I'm not sure how many of the zambahz there really wanted revives. I've only seen a little bit of the Western side of the suburb, but it looked fine. The only zed activity I've seen recently was one or two ferals valiantly trying to retake the Penning building; they managed to take down maybe one level of barricading before they disappeared, and now it's EHB again. I think we might be able to bump it up to yellow, or orange if someone thinks the zambahz are just hiding in Mornington or something (Mornington is definitely dangerous). --Superluigii > Talk 15:47, 4 April 2008 (BST)

March

March 26th

The Penning Building (NT) was attacked and ruined maybe 4 days ago (I didn't think to report it). There are about 20 zombies waiting for revives, 10 at Monro Row and 10 more in St. Eugene's. Some nearby buildings are still unruined, but it looks like there aren't any lit buildings or active survivors. --Superluigii > Talk 02:51, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

March 9th

Scouted about 80% of the Nixbank. I counted about 65 zombies, but odds are there are more inside the many ruined buildings. Reports that the eastern part of the suburb are in survivor hands are true -- but in this reporter's opinion that hold is anything but secure.

Here is some video footage of my peramubulations:

  • Around the Harbord NT [1][2]
  • Near Brandon Way PD [3]
  • A breakin at Page Plaza PD [4]
  • Outside the Delay NT [5]
  • Deakin Alley PD [6]

--WanYao 14:34, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

March 8th

The SE corner of Nixbank has several powered buildings, and the Delay NT is being strongly held. As long as these buildings hold, this suburb should remain Dangerous. --Kingofallpie 19:01, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

March 6th

Brandon PD currently has 9 survivors and 30 zombies inside. It is no longer safe to be there. Other danger reports from around the suburbs would be greatly appreciated. If NT buildings like Harbord, Penning, or Delay have fallen, I think this suburb could safely be upgraded to Very Dangerous. As it stands, it's just dangerous.--Kingofallpie 21:10, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

  • Leading the Junior Achievement branch of the storied undead group Lebende Tote, Doc Smith (somewhat assisted by 30+ undead who opened Brandon PD's door prior to Doc's arrival) entertained the slumbering, and dwindling in numbers occupants with tall tales of his exploits in years past, while assisting the weakened survivors into the vitamin-D enriched sunlight.--Doc smith 22:21, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

February 2nd

Saw six zombies at the ruined St. Eugene's Church. But it's a revive point. Other than that there were 1-2 stragglers everywhere else (10-14 Zombies in the whole suburb). However the The Penning Building was being attacked by on zombie and had no power. But that was the only real threat in the whole suburb. I am updateing danger level to safe.

The survivor group Knights of Destiny are quite actively attempting to make all of Nixbank safe again. Repairing and barricading buildings as well as setting up generators in high activity buildings is there current focus. March

March 29th

Things have calmed down with the Horde moving on leaving only local zombies. Most buildings have been given barricades now as well.

March 12th

Nixbank like the surrounding SW of Malton is in siege condition with few survivors battling well organized mass zombie attacks. Making things harder are the constant rotters in revive locations. BEWARE sleeping in the immediate area.

March 7th

Well DAG members at the moment there are plans though things at not official and not every one seems to know where to go, or what is happening as u explained. Dag can contact NHS through the e-mail address located on our page. INFECTED? visit your local NHS hospital.

March 5th

Ok guys, the NHS work has seemed to worked so far with the revs and all, along with many of the locals (Groups and individuals). Us in NHS wish to set up a heath system trail, it may or may not work but will be worth trying as it can hopefully allow, faster recovery in nasty events. Ask around for info we wanna try and keep it from the zeds okay. Simply put when revived, depending on infection or not you go to a specific location to get patched up. After that go on you way. Any opinions welcome. NHS...A shot in the arm to a dead health care system!

We do need to identify a safe house where we can all run into after being revived and regain our strength. Me and Graman and a handful of others briefly retook the Deakin Alley PD, but we didn't have enough survivors to hold it. We need a forum or an email thread where we can coordinate tactics and plan more effectively than is capable on this wiki site. -- Zebhu Varkon

March 1st

I was reading the below news update (22 Feb) and noticed the bit about the zombies "teleport" into the PD. I think you guys ended up on the receiving end of a zombie "paradrop". It's a simple tactic the RRF seem to use from time to time. Some zombies with the survivor skill Free Running get themselves revived, then they go to some of their zombie friends and get themselves infected (if not already infected) and knocked down to about 10HP. Then they free run into the target building, search a few times until the infection kills them and they 'drop' dead (hence the name), rise up, and start attacking. Nasty surprise though if your not expecting it. --Matt 13:08, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

Deakin Alley was hit by the RRF's Auxunit 10 strike team. There are 20 of us active and on a typical day, 10-15 of us show up and hit our target precisely at strike time. I say this not to denigrate the practice of parachuting, but we are quite proud of what we do and of our efficiency in battle. We were the ones who broke in and ransacked Deakin Alley with the help of a few ferals who followed the groans. --Murray Jay Suskind 21:49, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
I have no doubt that the 'paradrop' tactic is used, but if a 'paradrop' does in fact happen, with the other standing survivors will see the message "XYZ has died from infection." If you see that occur several times in a row, then that's the way you know that the paradrop tactic has been employed. In this particular case, no such messages were received inside Deakin Alley when it was first brought down and sacked. Which lends credence to the Auxunit 10 claim that they just coordinated their assault and tore down the 'cades. -- Zebhu Varkon 6 March 2007, 9:25 AM EST

February

February 22nd

Nixbank is basically ransacked. Woke up this morning dead, zeds literally everywhere. I knew to brace for higher zed activity, but this was a blitzkreig. How the f did 25 zeds teleport into the Deakin Alley PD in 24 hours? The zed levels went from maybe 30 in the whole suburb to at least 100. Every single building I looked at in a 5 block radius around Deakin Alley was ransacked, doors wide open, with zeds occupying the interior. This should be a red suburb. My recommendation is for all DAG, Demon Aura Clan, and BRAINS personnel to stay in zombie form for the next few days. Let the zeds who did this to us get bored and move on. Meanwhile, I recommend we try and clear out, in zed form, key resource buildings, and coordinate with the few survivors left so they can dump the bodies and recade. In other words, our zeds take out other zeds, and the survivors left over dump and cade. That way we free up their AP and they don't have to blow any on searching for ammo, gennies, etc. -- Zebhu Varkon

Update: The danger level has changed to dangerous. The RRF would like to thank Nixbank for the nice brain buffet. --Murray Jay

February 20th

A group of around 20 zeds have broken into penning necrotech, rev point begining to fill,we must prepare for future attacks especially at daniels and deakin alley !

February 7th

Nixbank seems quiet at the moment especially the NE sector, with Monrow revive point virtually empty.

2006

December

December 6th

Survivor numbers in and around Deakin Alley PD in NE Nixbank have steadily increased as stability has returned to the sector. Concerted efforts by the Deakin Alley Gang, B.R.A.I.N.S. and the Demonic Aura Clan (plus other folks) have really made a big difference. Deakin Alley PD, and the St Daniel's Hospital, have remained in continuous survivor hands for longer than I can remember. Monro Row revive point was empty when I last scouted it today. The NT Bldg is powered and secured. Lots of outlying buildings are either powered, or caded, or both. Plus, FPBBrandon and his colleagues seem to have kept their word. I haven't seen them in the neighborhood in some time. Keep of the good work, folks! We should be proud of what we've accomplished. But we need to remain vigilant. Dead on Arrival zombies have been spotted in and around St Daniel's Hospital and Mellish Towers. And a few weeks ago, several zombies from the De-vivification Experts of Malton broke into Deakin Alley and trashed the place for a short time. -- Zebhu Varkon

November

November 22nd

There has been increased zombie activity around the Deakin Alley PD. The MPD advises that all survivors keep a close eye on barricade levels, and be more vigilant when powering buildings. --Winnan 04:02, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

October

October 23rd

You are officially on notice, FPBBrandon. We see you in St Daniel's hospital today, recently revived and sporting just 45 hp. If you want to join the living, that's great. But your current and future behavior will dictate the welcome you receive from the survivors whom you terrorized relentlessly for the past month+. Keep the gennys intact and fueled, keep the cades up, don't overcade the access points, don't PK, and don't share intel with your former zombie brethren, and you'll find us survivors of Nixbank welcome neighbors. Make moves against survivor interests, and you'll be back out on the streets. The ball is in your court. --Zebhu Varkon

October 21st

Spare us your insincere whining, FPBBrandon. You got revived and were parked inside a building with 30 hp (the standard you get when you wake up), and made no indication whatsoever, either by saying anything to anybody, nor by spraypainting any messages, nor by posting on this wiki site, that you had decided to move on as a survivor in the future. In short, there was no evidence whatsoever of your supposed new change of heart, that you were anything but a zombie spy. All I had to go on was your several messages on this wiki promising to kill all survivors, plus your extensive actions over the past month or so in support of killing all survivors. Now that I found you inside a building, and expelled you back into the streets you claimed to rule so boldly, and you're angry with me for doing it? Give us a break!!! If you want to move along as a survivor, fine. I welcome it. Post it here and we'll never mess with you again as long as you live by your word. But you've only got yourself to blame for the less than friendly reaction you got when you showed up inside one of our buildings without any warning or explanation, after your months-long jihad against the living. --Zebhu Varkon

October 16th

OK Zebhu, you want to be a dick? Fine. We had just been revivified, and the entire group was ready to cease hostilities. You killed me for no reason, and you just screwed yourself. As long as we stay zombies, we will continue to ruin Nixbank, and every survivor we can find. Since you cant live with letting us leave alive, prepare to live wondering if we'll find your little burrow every time you leave.

October 5th

"Push us out? We'll be back tomorrow. It takes 30 seconds to break into anything you barricade. We'll continue killing a few of you off every day, and no amount of convergence can stop it. We took Deakin Alley, we took Mellish Towers, and we will follow you to wherever you flee. Sleep well, it's one of your last as a human..." --FPBBrandon

Tough talk from someone who's at level 27 and still hasn't taken the time to become more than "A non-descript zombie"...
Funny to hear from someone who won't even ID themselves. We've done it before, we'll do it again.

October 5th

This is what I'm talking about, survivors. We need to work much more closely together if we are ever going to resecure the northeast sector of Nixbank for any appreciable length of time. I recommend that all survivors in the vicinity of Deakin Alley converge into Mellish Towers, which is right now broken into by 3-5 zeds, and push them out. Zebhu Varkon

October 4th

We, the horde camping the Deakin Alley PD, have full intent to remain camping Deakin Alley PD forever. We are a strong group with morningly coordinated attacks. There is no hope for the people planning on saving the Police Department without revivifications for us. 'you will not survive make your time'. Have a day. --FPBBrandon

October 3rd

There appears to be a fairly stable group of 10-15 zombies who lurk outside Deakin Alley Police Department. I would have thought they would move on after ransacking the place several times over the past month, but they have not yet eaten their fill. We need more people to camp inside the Deakin Alley PD. The more people there, the harder it is for the zeds to ransack the place even if they breach the barricades. We need to remain vigilant, and keep the barricades at EHB at all time. If you wake up and find Deakin Alley's 'cades below EHB, the first several AP you expend should be devoted to restoring the 'cades. Do this BEFORE you search for ammo, kill zeds, scout around, etc. Keep a small reserve of 5 AP on hand, and if you log on to check the status of the 'cades and find them below VS, use the 5 AP reserve to bring them back up. We need to outlast this mini-horde of zombies, show them the total futility of their efforts, and convince them to move on. --Zebhu Varkon

October 2nd

Nixbank has multiple small groups of zombies, travellers beware. Small group infiltrated the Page Plaza Police Department and killed a few. Any help would most likely be appreciated. Brandon Way Police Deptartment and Lindsey Lane Fire Station seem to be left alone and secure for now. --User:Snoboy393 8:26, 2 October 2006 (PST)

September

September 17th

There have been a number of attacks on female survivors recently in nearby Ruddlebank by an individual called Nekro Tex. These attacks take the form of graphic descriptions of violent sexual assault. Residents are urged to be on the lookout for both Nekro Tex and his alt Jimmy Hellstorm, who he uses to find and harrass potential targets. If you are the target of such an attack or witness one, please take a screencapture and contact the DEM (see link for full report). -- Fingersmith 16:00, 17 September 2006 (BST)

Deakin Alley Police Department and the surrounding area, has has been overrun overnight and at least 6 outside the PD and 5 inside, seems this part of town is not a safe yet. --soildsnake1

August

August 25th

Deakin Alley Police Department, and the surrounding area, has a large number of zeds present. It appears that they killed most, if not all, survivors that were hiding in this area. --Graman 15:25, 25 August 2006 (BST)

August 19th

Page Plaza Police Department has a known killer in the building. His name is l337 Roxor, and he is at 5 HP. Anyone who can finish him off is asked to. If you are to try to take him out, make it soon before he's on the move again. You're gonna need freerunning 'cuz the building's EHB.

Update: phoatu2, has finished off l337 Roxor, so don't mark him as a killer for killing him. phoatu2 plans to escape the area before he becomes zed-chow himself.
1337 Roxor, may be dead soon anyway; I did a quick runby the area and it has zombies. I saw 2-3 seperate groups with 4 or more zombies each, and one large group with 11 nearby the trifecta of resource buildings Page police department, Brandon police department and Lindsey fire station in Nixbank. If anyone is in them or their surrounding buildings I would suggest you evacuate immediately and find a safer hiding place. --Keith Patrick

August 12th

Retired member blackzilla1 of D.A.G has returned home to spend time with his old group, only to find no one around.

August 3rd

Waking up in Nixbank with an old survivor of mine was surreal. I encoutered no zombies in the 3x3 map whatsoever as I made my way east. It's as if I'm "behind enemy lines!" --User:Alzuun

July

July 25th

Things are looking up. The revive line is down to 5 undead at monro, and the graveyard has 6. If this keeps up we maybe able to upgrade the suburb status to moderate!

July 15th

Every resource building in Nixbank has been ransacked.

July 4th

The area around Deakin Alley PD has decreased zed activity with mobs as high as FOUR zeds per every FIVE blocks. Deakin Alley PD considered safe, occupied by TWO or THREE D.A.G members { Agent47 and Blackzilla1 } currently ZEDS. --soildsnake1

June

June 28th

Deakin Alley PD was overrun and Monro is backed up. Help would be cool. As a side note, half of Brains is in New Arkham for a bit. They will be back when they are done there.

There is no revival given at Monroe Row for rediculously long periods of time... It may well be unsupported now. --Readingmuyo

June 22nd

The NecroTech building has fallen, with no revival support are given by any MFD member in the area. The zed population in the SW corner has risen to 35. - Arkangelsk. MFD -

June 17th

The west of Nixbank is over run with zeds, maybe there is a group of zeds working together. The control of the necrotech building has been recovered by MFD and a generator is running. A new resurrection point has been established for the next week in Christopher Lane [1, 76]. The next targets are to recover Lindsay Lane FD and Brandon Way PD. - Arkangelsk. MFD -

June 15th

The west of Nixbank is over run with zeds. The control of the NecroTech building is lost to the zeds.

June 2nd

With the lifting of radio frequency jammers by the military surrounding the quarantine zone, radio transmitters as well as hand-held sets are now in use. The area-specific radio frequency for Nixbank is 26.13 MHz. The frequency of 26.41 MHz has been reserved for the Nixbank Guerrilla Network, a general Nixbank-specific broadcast compliments of The Deakin Alley Gang.

April 30th

It has come to my attention that the revive point at monro row has become ridiculously long. I am asking for all available NT staff in the Nixbank area to spare a few AP and revive these nice zombies. --Jm21146 14:39, 30 April 2006 (BST)

April 25th

The MFD established a full-time fire fighter station in the suburb to fight against the increasing zombie plague. And fires.

April 15th

There have been several break-ins to deakin alley PD. Zombie spies are confirmed. Be on your toes. St. Daniel's Hospital is also compromised.

April 6th

Dead on Arrival is now instigating the "Overraction Policy" whereby if they are revived they PK, GK and generally cause all sorts of havok. It is not advised you revive DoA members.
