20071121 Fun at the Movies
Darth LumisT! A! E! FU! 02:00, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
Suggestion type
mmmm... Flavor!
Suggestion scope
Lit cinemas only.
Suggestion description
In a powered cinema, you can change the movie that is currently playing. There will be a button labeled "Change film." When the button is clicked (1 AP), the following text appears: You replace the reel of film, and (insert movie description here) is now playing on the screen. The building description will then show the new movie being played after you change the film. A list of descriptions can be found here.
Cinemas that originally played black and white movies before this can play only black and white movies. Same for recent films. And of course, the Kilingbank Cinema's vampire movie, unique to that cinema, shall not be used for the purpose of retaining its uniqueness.

- Kill - Useless flavour that costs AP? Nope.-- AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 02:16, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
- REwell, we already have museum pieces...--Corndoghero 02:48, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
- Bela's not dead... but this suggestion should be - This REMOVES flavour, instead of adding it. Cinemas are among the few buildings that are not totally generic within their class, i.e. all hospitals are ultimately the same, all NTs are the same, etc. etc.... just different names... Some cinemas have an in-game history because of the movies they specialise in, please dont fuck with that. A source of superficially differentiated, useless item types =/= better flavour. --WanYao 04:19, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
- Kill - As WanYao --The Grimch U! E! WAT! 04:53, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
- Kill - As wan yao. Omega 07:35, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
- Kill - As WanYao completely! --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 07:53, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
- Change - Only if you can change one movie from cinema repertoire to another. E.g. in movies that show black and white horror movies with Bela Lugosi you can only see black and white horror movies with Bela Lugosi - it has reels with Dracula, White Zombie, Mark of the Vampire, etc. Something like that. -- John RubinT! - Kill - As WanYao. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 07:56, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
- Change - not ambitious enough - we need to be able to take movie reels from cinema to cinema. So, for example, you could collect all the Tim Crooze movies and take them all to your Tim Crooze Flying Spagetti Shrine Cinema. Think of the flava! --Funt Solo QT 09:04, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
- Kill - as WanYao. --Pavluk A! E! 10:49, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

- Kill I agree with WanYao -- however, would consider changing my vote if the movie choices in each cinema were limited to the genre of that particular cinema (Per John Rubin's comments). --Shazzelim 12:56, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

- Kill - As the man Wan said - though Rubin has a good point too. --Ryiis 14:48, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
