Suggestion description
There are some buildings in Malton that give you very little in the way of findable items upon searching them. I suggest that some of these be given some items just purely for flavour purposes. These will be a combination of Useful and Useless and items (although for balance purposes, mostly Useless). Naturally, the chance of finding a Useful item will be much less than the chance of finding the same item in a resource building. This suggestion is not intended to replace Resource Buildings, merely add some items that you'd expect to find in these places.
- Bank: Newspapers (6%), Books (5%), Radios (2%), - Banks would have papers with stock quotes and the like in them, books as manuals for things, radios for security purposes.
- Office Buildings: Newspapers (5%), Books (4%) - Newspapers that people brought in to read at work, books as computer manuals
- Cinema: Newspapers (6%), Mobile Phones (1%) - Papers with cinema times etc, phones as lost property
- Museum: Newspapers (7%), Books (7%), Radios (2%) - Old newspapers, Old books and radios for security
- Railway Station: Newspapers (8%), Beer (4%), Spray Can (3%), Fuel Cans (1%), Toolboxes (1%) - Miscellaneous rubbish left from before the evacuation, homeless people drinking and kids doing graffiti, Fuel Cans and Toolboxes because its a railway station
- Tower: As Office Buildings above
The changes from the original version include:
- The removal of First Aid Kits from Banks, Offices and Towers. (General consensus that the find rates were too high, so I removed them to simplify things)
- The movement of Toolboxes from Banks to Railway Stations. (Thanks to zombie slayer for the idea)
- Tweaking of few numbers, including lowered chances of finding Radios, Fuel cans and Spray Cans in all buildings and increased chance of finding Newspapers in most buildings.

- Keep - Makes sense, but it's not like i am going to use these buildings to search for a particular item. This might help newbies who doesnt know where it's better to search. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 13:56, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- Keep - changed in line with voter concerns over the first version. Good. And, as Hagnat. --Funt Solo QT 14:48, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

- Keep - Better, helps newbies if they don't know better and acts as a last resort (railway stations) if a suburb is almost completely wrecked. Acoustic Pie 18:54, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- Keep - As long as the rates are low, but not too low, I vote keep. BoboTalkClown 21:26, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

Kill Votes
- Kill/Change - The idea I kind of like, but nobody will get that flavour items in the bank or office buildings because they wont use AP to search where there is no chance of getting anything. If each had 1 useful item at a low% to find then I'd go for this. Bank:Maybe a crowbar left behind by the people that looted the building or a pistol/flak jacket left by the security guard? Office Buildings:Mobile phone, FAK (health and safety means every office has these, a low % to find would represent the fact that most offices only have commercially available FAKs and not the more extensive type you'd get in hospitals), possibly golf club and tennis racket.--DI Sweeny 14:18, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- kill - i still don't like it. also i don't like deluting searchs in museums. --~~~~ [talk] 19:09, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- Kill - i still cant get behind this, but i do encourage the author to continue to tweak it and resubmit. one question, why would fuel cans found in railway stations? i believe most railroads or subways are run off of electricity, not fuel. and i agree that there should be a low chance to find first aid kits in offices. i did a quick survey of my office for 25 people and found that we have eight kits, why do we have so many by the way?--Scotw 19:11, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
Spam/Dupe Votes
- Spam - You can find something everywhere, even outside, which makes the whole purpose of this suggestion null and void, and thus I vote Spam.--Karekmaps?! 18:54, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
