The Grove
Hi :) I'd like to congratulate your all on a lovely show in Rodges Stadium, and much improved the day for The Grove On Tour. Perhaps you may be interested in touring the rest of malton with us and providing much needed light-time enterainment on the trip. Obviously if you have you're own scheudle to keep to then thats fine, but if you're interested one could reply/see the forums from our wiki page. I truely think its a great idea for Malton and if you need any support or anything with lower levelled characters you have for your inspired names let us know ;) --MarieThe Grove on Tour 21:41, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Seriously. That was brilliant.
Stagehand said "Ladies and gentlemen, the show is about to begin!" (11 hours and 41 minutes ago) Colonel Walter Kurtz said "They train young men to drop fire on people, but their commanders won't allow them to write fuck on their airplanes because..." (11 hours and 40 minutes ago) Colonel Walter Kurtz said "it's obscene." (11 hours and 40 minutes ago) Colonel Walter Kurtz said "...the horror..." (11 hours and 40 minutes ago) Colonel Walter Kurtz said ".......the horror....." (11 hours and 40 minutes ago) Cpt Benjamin Willard killed Colonel Walter Kurtz. (11 hours and 39 minutes ago) Stagehand said "Congratulations everyone! You were at the first-ever performance of the Apocolypse Now troupe from Drama Club!" (11 hours and 34 minutes ago) Stagehand said "We hope you enjoyed the show." (11 hours and 34 minutes ago)
great job, guys. Feel free to stop by Judgewood any time...err, after we get home and clean it up that it. The place is a mess at the moment. Keep up the good work -Temjin The Grove
- Thanks for all the support from The Grove - it was nice to have such an immediate positive response! Good luck with the tour and hope to see you in the audience again sometime. --Drama Club

NE Corner
Greetings. I must say random searches of the UD Wiki does bring a man to almost anywhere. I wanted to say that in my efforts to update the suburb location wikipages of the NE Corner, specifically Rhodenbank, Dulston, Rolt Heights (err, not so much yet), and Pescodside, I have taken note of your performance schedule. As such, I recorded your attempted performance at Club Knyps (ironically only recently updated as a "strip club" by yours truly) and the hospital. I would ask that when you visit Dulston and Pescodside that you make the appropriate entry in that location's "Current Events", so as to properly document your achievements. Have fun. --Mobius187 March 11 2007, 12:09 PM (EST)
- Good idea! Thanks! --Drama Club
Greetings from the Philosophe Knights
Greetings and Salutations, ladies and gentlemen of Theatre. We of Philosophe Knights salute you, for we have a great appreciation of the performing arts(having performed The Tragedy of Julius Caesar at Ackland Mall on March 15th). We applaud your dedication to the cause of maintaining culture and spreading the written word. If ever you'd like to collaborate with us, send us a message, and I'm sure we can work out a performance schedual. -DT 01:58, 31 March 2007(UTC)
- Thanks! If you have any members with appropriate names (Do you actually have "Julius Caesar"?) let us know and we'll see if we can pull a troupe together. --Drama Club
- Well, no, but there was a random level 1 survivor in the SE corner of the mall named Julius Ceaser - perhaps provided by some other PKer. We refrained from killing him due to AP restrictions, though we do have a Brutus. We're currently held up in Danversbank, though I'm sure at some later date we could have a performance somewhere. -DT 03:41, 28 April 2007 (BST)
- Hmmm, if you chat it up with him perhaps he'd join your Ides of March troupe and you'd be able to do a performance? Otherwise, there are probably some other ways to pull a classical literature troupe together as those names don't seem to be as prevailent as newer names (and we don't currently have a classicial literature troupe running about). Let us know if you'd like advise/help in setting up a performing group. --Drama Club 1 May 2007.

Thanks for coming to Club Humphries. I enjoyed that performance. We hope you'll come back sometime. -Gopnik 11 April 2007

Invitation to Perform
The Yong An Bang would like to extend an invitation for the Drama Club to perform in Kilingback Cinema in Danversbank, when you get around to it... --David Lin, 19 April 2007
- Accepted! The Army of Darkness troupe will perform there on May 29th. --Drama Club
Booking enquiry
BARBRAZ would like to make contact with a view to booking you to perform at a Grand Opening at the Doggrell Hotel in the suburb of East Becktown. We would be particularly interested in coordinating a double bill with a performance by the Shamblin' Crooners. - Fuster 23:48, 24 April 2007 (BST)
- Update - The Crooners have confirmed they'd be up for this. We'd just need to set up the venue and arrange a date. - Fuster 00:29, 26 April 2007 (BST)
- Awesome idea! How about June 21st? The Apocolypse Now troupe is scheduled to perform in that 'burb on that date. Does that work? -- Drama Club
- Could well do. It's a way off but gives me time to get set up. At the moment the suburb seems a little unstable and we're having trouble keeping catering staff but hoping that we can stir up a little interest and trial a few items on the menu soon. Will keep you posted. Got a single person contact or prefer to keep it on this wiki page? Would quite like to bill it as mystery guest stars and not declare either you or the Crooners before you step on stage. What do you reckon? - Fuster 01:08, 26 April 2007 (BST)
- (If you've anything in production we'd love to do a Premier!) - Fuster 01:09, 26 April 2007 (BST)

Malton Gazette
You guys are great...you gotta tell/remind the Malton Gazette all about your exploits! That is the best news in UD. Here's our ad. But I founded it because this is what I wanted to cover...give us a juicy story, eh?--Thegreathal 01:06, 27 April 2007 (BST)
http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Malton_Gazette Revive yourself--with news! The Malton Gazette published its first issue on 4/16. Please take a read now, and daily/weekly/monthly as often as you do or don’t want. We’re trying to be both useful and as entertaining as UD; also, there's a free classifieds section.
That said, it’s still in beta and could use some partners. Namely, contact maltongazette@gmail.com to draw/interview/help/advertise, but especially cover news.
Lastly, posting here because it’s full of lively UD players, if you ever have a full battle (or local news at all), and in particular some kind of showcase event (game/performance, etc.), write it up or just notify the maltongazette@gmail.com to get featured.
Thanks for your interest! Help use the Gazette! --thegreathal, working on the Malton Gazette
- Nice publication! We'd be happy to have you publish the upcoming schedules or a review of a show or any other aspect that you find interesting about Drama Club or the troupes. --Drama Club 1 May 2007.
QSG
Astoundingly good choice of performance topics.
We are having a talent show in the Quartly Library and would love a cameo.
Sir FredZombie_sympathizer
- Thank you Sir Fred! Since we have the extra AP and are in the neighborhood, we dropped by to participate in your talent show. Thanks for the invitation. The .JPG of the performance is attached at the end of this message -- Drama Club 11 May 2007.
Pre Show Advertising
Hi, I saw the note that your troupe had played the Currington Cinema in Miltown very recently and I was devastated. I couldn't believe I had missed the show - I was out shopping while it was on *8-(. Would it be possible to advertise upcoming venues on the appropriate suburb page? (I understand that provision of the exact time of the show would make it very dangerous for the actors, but a date would be enough to allow those with an appreciation for art to be present).
I would also like to request a repeat performance at the Currington Cinema, if you are available.
Many thanks, –Ray Vern phz •T 10:10, 16 May 2007 (BST)
- Hi There. Sorry you missed the show. The pre-show advertising is a pretty good idea. We might give it a try to see how it works out. Sorry you missed the show in your 'burb, but there's always another show the following week in the next-door 'burb and bootlegs of performances on the Wiki. If we find outselves with some extra AP we'll consider a repeat performance. Glad you like the concept and hope to see you in the audience! -- Drama Club 22 May 2007.
More Shows?
Just wondering if you ever considered performing different shows other than the two you have presently. I rather like this organization and would like to see it expand! --Pyrranha 22:14, 24 May 2007 (BST)
- Thanks for the compliment! We'd love to see more shows and we entheusiastially encourage everyone to come up with their own shows, perform them, and post them on the main page. Maybe you and some friends have ideas for a show? We will probably eventually try to get some new show on but for now all our APs are invested in the current tours. As they wind down we'll try for some new types of performances. Thanks again and hope to see you in the audience. -- Drama Club 25 May 2007
- Update! I think we may have a new troupe having their debut soon. We're keeping the details under wraps but within the next month we expect a "two-fer" at one of our events in which one of our current troupes will perform and be followed by the new troupe. That is, if the fella who says he's putting the troupe together can get all the actors in place and with their lines memorized. -- Drama Club 30 May 2007
Show request
If I could put in a request to bring Apocalypse Now to the Samways Walk Railway Station on July 12th (or whenever convenient), that would be awesome. It's the HQ of Die Angriff-Maschine, the organization I'm apart of. You're guaranteed to have an audience! --Pyrranha 04:54, 29 May 2007 (BST)
- Might be possible. We've got a troupe scheduled to go through a neighboring burb in a few weeks and if we have the extra AP we'll see if they can stop in for an unscheduled gurrila performance. No promises though since it will depend on how hot the zombie action is as getting the cast revived after a display of appreciation from a zombie audience can be a bit difficult. -- Drama Club 30 May 2007
- Update. We think we'll be able to do it in the next few days. Sleep over in the building each night to make sure you don't miss the show. -- Drama Club 13 June 2007
- Done! Here's the bootleg, in case you missed the show. -- Drama Club 15 June 2007

Bravo!
BARBRAZ management apologises for being dead at the scene when the AN troupe visited. Kudos to your troupe for being troopers all the same. Very much impressed. Thank you. Your photos are on the clubhouse wall. - 01:57, 22 June 2007 (BST)
- Really enjoyed the show at BARBRAZ. Thanks! Zomgazelle06:56, 22 June 2007 (BST)
- A double helping! I have bootlegs of both the AN troupe and what appears to be a first night for The Incredibles! Will post them shortly. Thanks again! - Fuster 23:45, 27 June 2007 (BST)
- Cool! Please do post the screenshot as soon as you can. I'll try to find the director and get him to set up some booking opportunities for future shows. -- Drama Club 28 June 2007

Just caught the Jensen Boulevard show and it was fantastic . . .
Speaking as a zombie with every zombie skill and 6200+ xp spare, I have to say that, despite my desire to eat your brains, that was a hell of a show. I would love to see another one (and that's only partially to get a second shot at eating your brains). Great stuff, best laugh I've had on UD in a while. Evil greg 03:55, 29 June 2007 (BST)
- That's great! I'm assuming it was the new troupe (The Incredibles) that you saw? We hope to have screen shots and tour information for them from the director soon. Glad you like the shows and hope to see you in the audience again. -- Drama Club 29 June 2007

Apologies for the delay. Work has got in the way. I will post the A/N one over the w/e. - Fuster 14:06, 6 July 2007 (BST)

Club of Awesomeness
Haha, just found out about your group. I left New Arkham about a week ago, but the suburb is still on my watchlist. I like what you are doing, but you definitely need more shows! Hopefully see you when you get around to the NW of Malton? 'arm. 09:36, 18 July 2007 (BST)
- Thanks! We have a troupe heading north along the border now so in a few weeks they'll be in the NW. Just keep an eye on the main page for the schedule. Hope to see you in the audience then! -- Drama Club 19 July 2007
Looking for a crowd?
While you're in Foulkes Village, the Henley NT is heavily populated. The same goes for the Selway NT in Ruddlebank. The Legion of the Octopope wouldn't mind a touch of culture about the place.
- Thanks for the invite! Unfortunately, due to the current schedule the Army of Darkness troupe had to move on to their next show. However, there is a Drama Club Booking page where you can request our Apocalypse Now troupe to perform. Feel free to take advantage of that service. -- Drama Club 31 July 2007
Kempe Auto Repair
Thanks for such a great show, I got there early for a front row seat but was eaten by zombies. In my undead state I stumbled back inside and took a seat at the back, doing my best to give a disgruntled glare to those who ate me. Glaring is not easy when one's eyes are rolled back in their sockets. I just wish the cast would've stayed behind for a meet and eat session. Lord Rutherford 12:08, 14 August 2007 (BST)
- Hysterical! Glad you liked the show, even in your annoyed undead state. We've found that zombies tend to show their appreciation by eating the actors, so have seldom stayed behind to be appreciated. Perhaps sometime we'll do dinner and a show, but usually it's just the show. Hope to see you in the audience again sometime -- Drama Club 15 August 2007.
Lamport Hills Bookings?
Though it is a while away, would you be so kind as to preform in the The Sidney Arms when you pass by on your border tour? It would be greatly appreciated. --Conan2 22:51, 12 September 2007 (BST)
- Absolutely! You're booked. Hope to see you at the show! --Drama Club, 25 September.
Wonderful!
Hi, I'm Troy. Troy Grognor. You may remember me from such performances as la bamba at the 2006 extravaganza, or the Rahaan G!ng musical at the malton zoo.
Bad immitations aside (a brain-chips cookie if you get where it's from), I'm a Broadway Zombie member (the last active?), and I thought Zambah zharzB!zznazz was not going too well, and then I found your page.
I'm glad to see some zambahz are still dancing and singing! I'll probably come to one of your shows eventually (I'm busy at the zoo right now. Can't miss their art exposition). Can't wait to see you youngsters in action! --Grognor 04:10, 2 October 2007 (BST)
PS: That said, has the zoo ever contacted you guys for a show? They're a mighty good crowd... the best the BZs ever had --Grognor 04:10, 2 October 2007 (BST)
- Greetings Troy! We're glad you found us and look forward to having you in the audience for one of our shows. As you know, Broadway Zombies was one of our inspirations in forming this group. We'd love to perform for the Zookeepers and have a booking page linked from the top of this page for just such interested parties who need their spirits lifted. Hope to see you and the zookeepers in the audience soon! --Drama Club, 2 October.
- I've just checked with the zoo and it seems they've already seen one a play from the drama club. I was already planning on packing my bagz and going to the next location of your tour anyways. Also, the Troy part was just a reference to some tv show, just call me Grognor :). --Grognor 01:22, 4 October 2007 (BST)
- Ah, I get it. Troy McLure, from the Simpsons. We enjoyed the zoo performance and glad they still remember us. Looking forward to seeing you in the audience for the next show. --Drama Club, 12 October.
Userbox
Hi there, long time reader first time poster, posting for the second time. I'm eagerly awaiting the show in Bale Mall later today and was thinking there should be some way to display my eagerness to the world. Maybe a userbox that says "this user talks about drama club" or something equally self-referential. Anyway, can't wait for the show. I'm rooting for bad ash this time round. --Lord Rutherford 00:11, 23 October 2007 (BST)
- Hey there Lord Rutherford, great to see you again! I see that you were there in the audience right up front (I'm not sure if you noticed, but Good Ash Williams gave an extra facial twitch your way during the show). That's a great suggestion. I've never done a userbox before so this sounds like an interesting new challenge. I'll see if I can pull something together and post it. Nice idea! -- Drama Club 23, October 2007.
Grande Finale
IF you'd really like to end your season with a smash hit, I highly recommend you move the event from Curton Mansion to the Haslock NT building. There are 100+ survivors in there fighting off a pretty sizable horde. The seige is in a delicate state right now and the surivors aren't likely to abandon the defense of Haslock. The zombies, meanwhile, are getting frustrated and are likely to disrupt the show. So if you want a really big audience I suggest moving two blocks east. JonMonster 23:49, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- I caught the show at Haslock and it was awesome. Although I do wonder where Alf got that popcorn. --Pdeq 23:03, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
- Although maybe you're talking about a different show... --Pdeq 03:01, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
Thanks
hi im Dikki you played at my bar in lamport a few wks ago unfortunately i was away but its nice to see people bring rpg into this game please if you are around again you could act out short for me and my Dead Dudes to film.we are a know lamport film company. --Dikki 00:31, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- We'd be happy to. I'll copy this over to our Drama Club Booking page and start arranging for a show. -- Drama Club 28 December 2007.
Pennville invites you
Regardless of what the wiki says about the status of Pennville, the RPM have kept it safe from survivors 100%(Except for mass zombie invasions like the Big Bash). With that said, we would like to invite you to perform in our Burb...the RPM HQ is a cinema, and we would be honored if you were to arrange a showing there... We have hosted other events such as this in the past, and we can promise coordinated zombie repelling during the show...(oops...forgot to sign) Spacer one RPM 22:45, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
- We accept! We'll start moving our team over to your suburb and when we get close we'll post a performance date on this page. Expect the performance about a week from now. Hope to see you then! -- Drama Club 14 January, 2008.
- OK, we're close to the neighborhood. We expect to perform next Tuesday, January 22nd. Sleep overnight in the building to be sure to catch the show. Hope to see you there! -- Drama Club 17 January, 2008.
