Kinch Heights is a suburb of Malton, located in the south central part of the city. Prior to the outbreak, Kinch Heights was an idyllic if slightly dysfunctional suburb. Nearly all of its buildings are constructed from sturdy wood. Though pleasant to look at, Kinch Heights has historically been the location of several terrible fires. As a result, there are no fewer than six fire stations in the area, built to preserve the suburb from the blazes that so easily sparked to life. In the southeast areas of the suburb is a large green tract of land on which four majestic churches are built. There are four fire stations erected adjacent to the churches and their graveyards - the protection of these landmarks was of the utmost importance.

In contrast, the northwest area of Kinch Heights was once a lively business district, catering to both the blue and white collar sectors. When the day was done, many workers would migrate to Noyce Arms to down a few before heading back home.

Crime, aside from juvenile mischief, had never been much of a problem in the mostly residential areas of Kinch Heights, so life at the Milverton Place Police Department had been relatively uneventful until the outbreak. Currently, it serves as a gathering place for anyone needing a place to sleep and eat.

The local radio frequency is 26.15 MHz, survivors are asked to tune in for the latest.

OK, OK people of Kinch Heights there's been a rumor going around that the Witt Tower Boys aren't around any more well let me tell yall this; that's just dumb! we've all been here we just dont go much west of Milverton and not much south of St. Christopher. were even spreading to western West Greyside. but at the same time I'm flattered to know that our efforts to stay low-key are working pretty well.--CJ 04:51, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

25.96 MHz: "... flying over Kinch Heights, it's looking empty ... a lot of lights on, looks the area's been reclaimed ... infrastructure looks intact too ... the Nevill Building has power ..." Looking pretty good. Uh, if any zombie hordes are reading this, please don't take that as a challenge... --Saralan Talk 404 ZHU 04:38, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Only 3 zombies are currently located in the surburb 1 at a revive point and 2 are wondering around. (Stover)

December 25th (A Kinch heights Christmas)

A very merry christmas day it has been in kinch heights. Survivors are safe and protected and the overcading problem has seemed to die down a little. Lights are on across the suburb along with Christams lights. Reporting from Urban General Hospital mastergeneral. We are having a zombiless silent night. 20:11, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

December 22nd

The official barricading policy for Urban General Hospital has been changed to VSB+2, after discussion with the local group! --Saralan Talk 404 ZHU 03:13, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

"... leaving Kinch Heights, counted maybe a dozen outside ... they're just wandering around ... lights are on across the suburb ... infrastructure looks intact too ... some survivor activity in the Nevill Building ..." (12 hours and 50 minutes ago)

December 12th

Reporting from Urban General Hospital most buildings light The North West side of this suburb is lightly barricaded but lit. Zombies are low in number with the largest group of 8 to 9. People are not fully following the barricade code and are leaving barricades low for new survivors. Overall lights on, barricades low to average, suburb is in survivor hands.mastergeneral

December 9th

I just came in from Dartside, everything in the west seems OK. There are many small groups of zombies scattered about. But I didn't see anything larger than 15 in front of one of the NT buildings. Also, I'm confirming the reports on gen destroyers. Someone destroyed the gen at the hospital I was in, but we have one up and running again and the gen destroyer is a rotting corpse filled with bullets in the building 1E.--Smartone00 02:46, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

Excessive barricading is a big problem. The barricade plan is not working at all, there are no entry points anywhere. Ted Blackheart 19:35, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

Three Dog here for your wasteland news. There have been reports of PKers and gen destroyers in the area. Remember, show no mercy to such scum. And now for a WNR public service announcement! Remember children, there is no shame in barricading your building when the PKers come, or hiding under anything. In this world they have one objective, and that's to make your life as fucking miserable as humanly possible...so run, hide, or fight them if you have the balls and the guns. But for God's sake, don't wave the white flag...they would merely strangle you with it. Now for some music! *Puts on 'I Don't Want to Set the World On Fire!'* --Three Dog 15:08, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

December 4th

Three Dog here, for more on the radio news. There have been reports of a group calling themselves 'The Borg' in this area. It is unknown what side this group is on, just keep a watch out, and your weapon loaded. There have been more reports of Zed attacks in the area, however there have been many fights leaving it as a stale mate. Looks like there is no mercy on both sides, no matter what the cost. This is Three Dog, wishing all survivors and the like, to stay safe and keep an ear out. And now some music. *Puts on I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire...*

November 2008

November 23rd

The area is EXTREMELY unsafe. Swarms of Zeds from the "The Order of the Pure Blood" faction are sweeping through the suburb, mainly hitting the square of Urban General, Milverton PD, and Club Steager, as well as close by NT buildings. Zombies are resting in ruined buildings, such as Club Steager, which could use a generator and a good extermination. Defense forces are far from weak at this time, but could always use some extra help...

November 18th

Scouted all of east Kinch Heights. 9 zombies at revive points, 21 zombies spotted elsewhere, 7 buildings ruined, plus one wide open with zombie inside. Four ruined buildings are on the Eastern edge where next door, West Grayside is almost entirely in ruins. The other three ruined and open buildings are in the North East corner. Further to the interior, buildings are well generated and well barricaded. --ZaqWer 17:25, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Barricade Policy

As of the 8th of June the Urban Guerillas have created a barricade policy for Kinch Heights, in order to help restore it to its former status before the appearance of disruptive citizens. Discuss this feature on its discussion page.
