Grigg Heights is a suburb of Malton, located on the western edge of the city.

Prior to the Zombie Outbreak, Grigg Heights was thought of as a peaceful and quiet suburb of Malton. The sleepy suburb supported 6 hospitals and a research facility owned by NecroTech (the primary employer of pre-crisis Malton). The residents at that time were also considered to be educated, music lovers and appreciative of the finer things in culture. These attributes can still be seen in the ruins of Grigg Heights by what is left of the 3 Jazz Clubs in the south of the suburb (Club Whittem, Club Whittard & Club Allerston) as well as its museums the Linnett Museum & the Wriford Museum.

The most notable events in the history of this suburb involve the group DORIS. More information can be found here.

At least 60 zombies on the streets. Breakdown of the Tactical Resource Points:

  • 1 NecroTech: ruined.
  • 4 Police depts: 2 without power, 2 ruined.
  • 6 hospitals: 4 powered, 1 not, 1 ruined.
  • 2 factories: powered.
  • 2 auto repairs: 1 powered, 1 not.

The west lies in ruins, with most of the powered buildings in the east. High levels of conflict apparent throughout the suburb. Dangerous. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 19:59, 12 October 2008 (BST)

At least 41 zombies on the streets. Breakdown of the Tactical Resource Points:

  • 1 NecroTech: powered.
  • 4 Police depts: 2 powered, 2 not.
  • 6 hospitals: 1 powered, 2 not, 3 ruined.
  • 2 factories: 1 powered, 1 not.
  • 2 auto repairs: ruined.

The main battle zone is in the southern half of the suburb, where more than half of the zombies are located. With a third of the TRPs ruined, and a third powered, this suburb is hotly contested, and sits right between Moderate and Dangerous. Given the level of fighting, I'm inclined towards leaving it as Dangerous. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 17:14, 26 September 2008 (BST)

Fighting has been fierce in Grigg Heights with survivors battling moderate zed mobs for control of the suburb. Resource buildings go back and forth being ruined or recaptured from day to day. There is no doubt that the area is dangerous, but there are no extremely large hordes of zeds and there are caded buildings about with survivors inside. A dangerous but at the moment survivable suburb.--Lord Wulfgar 23:15, 13 September 2008 (BST)

  • Why, yes! Everything is safe in Gragg Haghz! Harmanz needing healing hugs should stop by St Wolfgang's hospital. Located in the south side of Graggz. While you are there, stop by the Mrhzan Barn and gnarrh with the local zed mobs. I hear they are very moderate undead... --Doc smith 01:17, 14 September 2008 (BST)
  • Us zeds in Gr!ggz Haghz are extremely moderate undead. We eat only the brains, don't want to ruin our appetites. --[User:Jimmy Jonez] 03:32, 15 September 2008 (BST)

Southern Griggs has been somewhat rebuild. A few lights are on. Today was the first big battle for the Merson NT. It looks like the first win was on the survivor's side.

All thanks to a couple of dedicated groups, namely The Abandoned Warriors, Those Dudes, Malton Rangers,Edmund General United and last, but certainly not least Dunell Hills Police Department.

Breach of Peace would like to thank you all, but like War Hammer of Rot From The Moors said so correctly:"Merson is a prized piece of real estate that many will fight for."

So I hope you guys will stick around! --Boertje 23:00, 3 September 2008 (GMT)

Groups

  • Breach of Peace- Group dedicated to protecting GH, the 'block' (aka Merson, twin PD, Wolfgang, Langer, Club Bolt, and adjacent buildings), aiding fellow survivors and other groups in GH. Small dedicated group based and focused around the southern territory. Established group, however only newly active past few months with activities -12:14, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
  • Lebende Tote- Members currently celebrating their 2 year inveracity(?) at a party located INSIDE the Mrhzan bldg aka The Old Totes Home. Along with several dozen friends. Is '4' more then 'several'? --Doc smith 05:52, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
  • The (not quite so) Invisibles- The arch nemesis/ fortified bra!n food of the Lebende Tote. The NQSI and the Guns of Brixton are the cause of the Totes original banishment from Grigg Heights. They handed the Totes their only defeat. Jake Weber is still active so the NQSI lives on. --Doc smith 04:13, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
  • RGang. Led by the unflappable Wolfgang Puck, who has the driest wit and cleanest chef hat in Griggs, RGang provides free hugs to wayward HARMANZ at the St Wolfgang's Hospital, located in south Griggs. Please bring your insurance card and check your guns at the door. --Doc smith 04:13, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
  • TechCom - Dedicated to defending fellow survivors and containing the zombie plague any way we can

Revive Points

Active:

InActive:

Currently zombies and survivors are holding each other in check, and revive points are low. However this is subject to change. Appears that only the RPs by Merson are active; activity in the Northern parts is sketchy and unconfirmed.

Barricade Plan

AquaWarning.jpg
AquaBarricade.jpg

A Barricade Policy for Grigg Heights can be found here. Be warned, barricade plans do not show the current state of things in the suburb but rather the ideal.

Although there is a lack of organized survivor groups throughout the whole suburb due to the increasing threat of the zombies, the barricade plan has mainly relied on totally freelance players and the small groups of living that call Griggs home. Usually that meant that any organized barricades where on a "on the go" basis with some buildings at VSB and EHB depending the times, as most of the time survivors dont have the benefit to follow the ideal plan.

To sum it up, the plan is pretty much useless, given the current state of the suburb.
