Update: NecroWatch reported in from the The Selway Building on the western side of Ruddlebank and from The Henley Building on this fine carnival Tuesday. Scans from these locations revealed a total of 13 zombies within scanning range. For around a week now both Crew Avenue PD & Cyril General Hospital (& the surrounding buildings too it should be noted, tho not as much) have been under heavy attack from the zombie group the Undeadites. CAPD has been playing a very dramatic tug-of-war especially with survivors losing control but later gaining the advantage back, however, it now appears to be completely trashed with attention now being turned onto Cyril. It should also be noted that several Undeadite members have been spotted trying to hide out in both these locations and destroy the generators from within.-- KempyClassic 22:02, 20 December 2008 (GMT)

Random breakins have been occurring along the eastern front, looks like the work of small groups of ferals. I had 3 fellow survivors dragged out into the streets in the middle of the night from the Paget Auto Repair building. The MOB and feral zombies have continued to trash Foulkes Village. At this time, Ayers Cinema, Loader Walk Railway Station, and Woolford Boulevard School are in ruins. Even EHB structures are falling under coordinated attacks, and the dead are beginning to pile up in the RPs.--FLZombie 01:43, 26 April 2008 (BST)

April 25th

It seems that the Militant Order of Barhah has decided to enter into Foulkes Village after leaving Ruddlebank in ruins. Many buildings were noted to be lit, and this piqued the interest of their scouts. In an overnight attack, their Bra!nz Liberation Front assaulted the Henley Building. Over two dozen survivors were found sleeping inside, and dark BARHAHmaddan prayers could be heard coming from the scene of the carnage that ensued. Survivors are cautioned that Foulkes Village will probably become quite dangerous in the near future, and would do well to seek shelter farther south, since MOB activity frequently attracts the attention of many more feral zombies, which are routinely invited to partake of the butchering of the victims. --FLZombie 05:02, 25 April 2008 (BST)

Foulkes Village after a long and arduous battle with hoards of zeds and zed sympathizers has become a safe zone thanks to the valiant efforts of the survivor groups that refused to give the suburb up to the hands of the undead. even as this report is written large amounts of survivors are coming to this safe haven. Gennys are being put in place. Transmitters are being set up, and barricades are being brought down to allow the inexperienced free entry. Break ins are put down as fast or faster then they happen. zeds are few and far between, but enough to supply a enjoyable set of targets.--LordClaw 04:32, 2 October 2007 (BST)

September 20th

The Legion of the Octopope has been destroyed, despite rampant alt abuse and body-dumping. Their resistance was valiant, but in the end, futile. The only NT in the suburb has now fallen to feral zombies because of the lack of cohesion and cooperation among the survivor groups ignorant of the importance of this building. Survivors now gather in order to retake what they so quickly lost.

Sorry, that isn't quite clear. Are you accusing the Legion of alt-abuse or were you referring to the zeds standing outside with names ending in "bot", idiotbot, zedbot etc? We'd like our spotless record of fair play to stay that way.--Nuabreed 18:46, 20 September 2007 (BST)
I too would like clarification on this point. The Legion of the Octopope engages in nothing but fair play, although the recent edition of The Malton Star mentions we have noted the strange activities of some zombies around the NT. And it would be very much appreciated if you signed your posts too.--TouchingVirus 16:04, 21 September 2007 (BST)

September 19th

The Legion of the Octopope has been mauled by the zombie hordes out front. In true survivor style we have been unable to organise sufficient numbers to hold the NT and it will surely fall on it's next break-in. Currently 4 zombies are inside with no response from the humans there. All are infected and we could do with backup pretty quick lest the suburb fall into ruin.TouchingVirus 23:27, 19 September 2007 (BST)

September 17th

The Henley Necrotech defenders are slowly being ground down as the zombies gain a three to one advantage in numbers. However, morale remains high as few flee the increasingly desperate struggle. The Legion of the Octopope warns that the fall of this building will allow the horde at its gates to disperse and attack the rest of the suburb. If you are unwilling to bolster numbers inside then at the very least, check on the building during your daily routine.

September 15th

The Henley building has been broken into once again, and survivors are being eaten as we speak.

or not, the zombies were evicted pretty quickly.

September 14th

Survivors are in trouble down south. Henley NT is suffering from multiple break-ins per day. Total of 29 zambah's outside the NT, and about 30 others dotted around the place. The two nearest hospitals have fallen and it's looking bleak.--TouchingVirus 12:20, 14 September 2007 (BST)

Bleak might be too harsh. When the siege began, the suburb was largely ruined. Although the Henley is under severe pressure, the defence appears quite stable. And the fighting has drawn zombies out of the less populated areas allowing the suburb as a whole to rebuild.--Nuabreed 21:55, 14 September 2007 (BST)

September 5th

Survivors have retaken the Henley NT and its surrounds. The revive point has been cleared. The defenders have encouraged survivors in the area to join them in holding the NT.--Nuabreed 13:45, 5 September 2007 (BST)

The Henley NT remains in zombie hands as survivors struggle to remove the entrenched zombies. However, the situation is far from hopeless as the revive point is still being serviced and the counter-attacks grow more numerous.--Nuabreed 00:07, 7 August 2007 (BST)

July 27th

The mighty Henley NT has fallen and the OctoLegions have dispersed - apparently far and wide. Currently 7 zeds hanging around and the Frye Alley PD is under attack - reinforcements are most certainly required down the South East! TouchingVirus 20:51, 27 July 2007 (BST)

Drama Club staged a performance of "Army of Darkness" at Whittard Road Fire Station as part of their Border Tour of Malton. The group plans to travel clockwise around the border suburbs of Malton with one show in each suburb. Today they performed for the two survivors here as part of this tour. See their group page for performing groups and schedules.

Two break-in's in the last few hours have rendered the radio transmitter and generator useless. Rumours abound of an X:00 attack to take place on the Henley NT this evening. Unfortunately whilst there is a strong survivor presence they must be stunned into shock by the reappearance of helicopters in the skies of Malton. All assistance is appreciated - we must prevail. Zombies continue to infest the suburb. The key areas appear to be around the Henley NT where sixteen zombies are wandering the streets and around Cyril General where a similar number are contesting most buildings.--Nuabreed 12:49, 2 July 2007 (BST)

June

June 25th

With a small amount of zambahs outside the Henley Building trying to break the barricades the survivors are holding strong. The revive queue in the cemetary is down to 4 from over 15. Infection rates are low and most valuable buildings are back to EHB/VSB+2. The order for Phelm Hawker has spread far and wide and his death (or flight) should be imminent. All survivors are requested to sleep in Henley and prevent ransacking as per the previous orders of Nuabreed, who along with the Legion of the Octopope brought Foulkes Village back from zombie ruin. -- TouchingVirus 21:14, 25 June 2007 (BST)

June 24th

The Henley NT is being contested once more. Survivors are asked to sleep in the building to prevent ransacking. Those unwilling to risk their necks can help by maintaining the barricades and healing defenders.

Phlem Hawker is in the region. He has been seen attempting to lower barricades and killing NT defenders during zombie attacks.--Nuabreed 16:26, 24 June 2007 (BST)

June 12th

Note that the Henley NT is being marked as an indoor revive point by the Extinction squatters in a bid to bolster their numbers inside. Don't be afraid to break out your needles and DNA extractors. Nice of them to bring reinforcements into the area. Take full advantage.--Nuabreed 00:26, 12 June 2007 (BST)

May

May 31st

A planned strike on the Henley Building to rid it of zombies failed when the safehouses of Ayers Cinema and Frye Alley Police Department were hit hard. All survivors were brutally murdered. The cemetary reported high volumes of zombies and while the backlog is almost clear there is still a high volume of zombies around the area..--TouchingVirus 13:06, 31 May 2007 (BST)

May 21st

Despite the resistance by the survivors, zombie numbers are once again rising. Most key buildings are regularly being broken into and ransacked. High casualties are being reported across the suburb. Fighting continues to be fierce with losses mounting and bodies filling the gutters in what has clearly become a war of attrition. Travel for both sides is becoming increasingly dangerous due to the conflict.--DarkMoonFalls 04:56, 22 May 2007 (BST)

May 13th

Key buildings across Foulkes village have been retaken by survivors and are currently powered. Break ins and the resulting casualties are still being reported, all have been beaten back. Zombie numbers appear to be thinning some and resurrection lines are small.

May 8th

Fierce fighting continues over most of the suburb with clusters of zombies making life hard for the living. Most of the resource buildings have been retaken and a large number of bodies litter the streets. The zombies are putting a stanch resistance and the next few days will probably be key to the out come of Foulkes Village.

April

April 18th

Zombie attacks on resource buildings are heavy and most are in zombie hands and it is not advised sleeping in any. Large zombie masses are located in and around Crew Avenue PD, the Henley building and Frye PD are under heavy attack with the latter in the hands of the zombies. Caution is advised if trying to gather resources in the near future.

March

March 30th

Aside from a cluster in the Crew Avenue PD and Cyril General Hospital area, the zombies hordes have been driven out. Most buildings are secure and revive queues near-empty.

March 19th

Zombie attacks become less common and less damaging. Their focus is now on safe houses rather than resource buildings. Barricade strafing is proving very effective as the zombies continually break open empty buildings. Survivors continue to contest control of the suburb through hit and run attacks. Zombie population slightly reduced, due to the frustrating nature of the fighting.

March 12th

Fighting continues as an uneasy stalemate forms. Only the more organized groups are able to survive the prevailing conditions. All lone players in the suburb should make contact with the local defenders. All players also should watch out for the local zerger. Profile links follow: Loracj, JanetP, JanetZ, MikeC, MikeFZ and MikeP. Generally attacks one building enmasse, just after the IP reset.

March 11th

In light of recent events and reports of more and more zombie hordes coming to Foulkes Village, the danger level has been upgraded accordingly. While the remaining survivors continue to fight back through the war torn suburbs, they continually find themselves dead or dying out in the streets. Recent studies has show an advancement in the zombie mentality and a stronger, more organized lust for human brains. It seems that the undead are starting to become more organized in there efforts to break down barricades and disrupt life inside, a trend that has become more and more apparent all across the City of Malton since the arrival of the Mall Tour '07 and the rebirth of X:00 tactics. All remaining survivors are urged to stay inside and maintain the barricade levels before attempting to subdue any zombies that may breech the walls of your safe house.

February

February 26th

Crew Avenue Police Department and surrounding buildings have fallen on hard times lately. Cyril General Hospital and Syms Auto Repair are both currently occupied solely by zombies, as is the PD.

February 10th

The suburb remains secure with few zombies in the area. The vast majority of buildings are secure and the Village appears to be at peace. With zombie numbers in the surrounding suburbs rising, this state of affairs may not last.

December

December 31st

With the end of the year, things are slowing down. Man has reclaimed most of the village and is keeping a strong watch over its activities. The living denizens give a warm thank you to those who have fought hard against the onslaught. Tomorrow brings a new year, and a new battle. Happy New Year, 2007; be safe, fight hard.

December 4th

Noticing a large decrease in Zombie activity, the men of the Ruddlebank Resistance Front have withdrawn from their outpost and back into Ruddlebank.

December 2nd

The Men of the Ruddlebank Resistance Front are now maintaing an outpost on the very edge of Foulkes village.

November

November 28th

Things are actually fairly quiet for a Very Dangerous suburb. There are scattered breaches, but no more than one or two zeds inside. Suburb level will be lowered by the end of tomorrow if the activity level remains stable. --Winnan 00:46, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

November 23rd

Reports are flowing in from all over Foulkes Village: death, destruction, danger. Due to this, please note that Foulkes Village Danger Level will be updated to "Very Dangerous" as of 0310 Hours, CST. For those of you who do not already know, that is the colour Red. Please be aware of the surge of dead, remain calm, and heavily armed with both FAKs and Ammo, if possible.

Good luck, friends.

November 21st

Well it's the 21st and there's just over 30 of us left at Crew Avenue PD. Spent all my AP repairing the barracades and killing the zombies INSIDE the building. We've lost over 50% of the survivors in the PD and its not looking good. More and more people are dying each day, mostly because the baracades keep going down. People baracade first, kill after, and make sure those bodies are dumped!

November 20th

Sometime yesterday, during the massive onslaught of Crew Avenue Police Department, and Cyril General Hospital, a man known as Pabalazoo entered the scene. Witnesses reported him speaking strangely, and murdering nearby survivors -- seemingly at random. If you have any information of the whereabouts of this person, please notify Z.E.O.N. officials immediately. If you run into this person, be on your highest guard.

November 19th

As of 9:30 am today both crews PD and Cyril hospital were under siege by a group of about 40 zeds. survivor numbers inside the PD have droped from over 70 to around 55 and there are only about 10 of us left in the hospital. Someone shold probably change the danger level on the map to orange so others know the risk of entering the suburb.

November 9th

2105 Hours CST. There has been reported a large congregation of zombies around Etheldreda General Hospital in the southwestern corner of Foulkes Village. A local military medic reported around 12 active zombies; most were standing in front of the Hospital. This survivor saw no signs of power in the area. There is also the strange and continual action against Crew Avenue Police Department by a character known as The Overbarricader. His identity is assumed to be Flesh Gollem. If you see this individual, be on your guard.

September

September 27th

There has been an increasing number of attacks on the unfortunate undead while they wait patiently for a revive at cemetaries in and around Foulkes Village. Stop it. I know it's tempting to get experience points for killing sitting ducks (or zombies, for that matter), but it means that they cannot get a revive while lying dead, and it is costing them action points to stand up. Go find some zombies hordes to kill, and earn your points.

September 17th

There have been a number of attacks on female survivors recently in nearby Ruddlebank by an individual called Nekro Tex. These attacks take the form of graphic descriptions of violent sexual assault. Residents are urged to be on the lookout for both Nekro Tex and his alt Jimmy Hellstorm, who he uses to find and harrass potential targets. If you are the target of such an attack or witness one, please take a screencapture and contact the DEM (see link for full report).

July

July 30th

The amount of zombies in this suburb has decreased greatly. 99% of the Adopt-a-Building group is alive again and protecting the suburb. There are only 10-15 active zombies.

July 4th

I've heard that "Big Bash" is heading to south west Malton. We're having high numbers of wild zombies roaming the streets. There are a bunch of us are trying to keep Cyril and Crew caded.

April

April 22nd

Henley building has been reported overrun with zombies. Contact CAPD for information on a raid to retake the NecroTech lab.

February

February 26th

Around the Henley Building, there have been small groups of zeds, no more than 5 or 6. Not very safe for humans without free running near the Henley Building, as almost all buildings have been barricaded above VS+2.

Only a couple of break-ins recently, nothing very serious.

February 8th

NecroTech offices in the Henley Building (southeast sector of the suburb) have been under regular attack from the zombie threat. Representatives of the Crimson Customizers and other human groups have opened it for business in January and February, only to have it overrun by coordinated zed attack.

Human refugees from the contested northern regions of New Arkham are also appearing in Foulkes Village.

Significant increase of zed presence in the northwest sector. The suburb's phone mast location, the Freeguard Building, was sieged, overrun, and its generator destroyed.

2005

December

December 11th

Several instances of graffiti referencing a "Foulkes Strangler" have been appearing on both outside and inside walls of buildings in this suburb.

  • Outside Punnett Cinema: "Who is the Foulkes Strangler?"
  • Inside Crew Avenue PD: "Stop me before I kill again - the Foulkes Strangler"

Little else is presently known about this phenomenon. As this reporter has spent several days in the company of crowds of survivors in the suburb and not heard anybody talking about this, it is suspected that this tagging is possibly just the creative artistic effort of one or more bored individuals. Residents and visitors are nonetheless advised to stay alert and report any new details regarding this urban legend.
