Suggestion description
This is just a brief idea I had today. What if there was a skill called Scouting, or Reconnaissance, or something else along those lines that let you use binoculars outdoors?
When at a monument, billboard, or other tall outdoor structure I didn't think of you would be able to use binoculars as in tall buildings. In addition to giving you the map view it would display this message:
You climb to the top of the monument, look through your binoculars and come down before you lose your grip.
Survivors don't spend nearly enough time outdoors and this would provide some small tactical value to these locations. This would make sense as a Free Running subskill.

- Small cool Fairly useful on the go. --Jon Pyre 19:54, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep/Change - Make it cost 2AP. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 20:27, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- Re A higher cost would make sense because of the outdoor benefit. It would totally be fair for each use of this to cost an additional AP. Good idea. --Jon Pyre 21:16, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep - I like it!--GunFox13 20:57, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- Just one thing...can you add in a slight precentage of falling off and recieving, say...1 or 2 damage? --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 20:59, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- Re That would be pretty funny I admit. --Jon Pyre 21:25, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keepshhhh - As Axe, but bar that I think survivors don't spend too much time outside due to zombies, but the idea of using binoculars outside on momunemts works for me. And also increase the AP cost. Acoustic Pie 21:38, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep Make it 2 Ap, and makes monuments a bit more flavoursome.--Rosslessness 21:10, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- KEEP But make it either 2AP or have a 5% chance to fall off for 1-10HP and a shriek (exactly as a feeding groan with a crowd size equal to the damage!) You know that would be a great idea for free-running too ;) --Honestmistake 21:39, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep- Pwn! Flava!!! And, I don't think that warrants a kill, funt. Spam is not strong kill. BoboTalkClown 22:43, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep Ok, just make it hurt to fall of and cost 2 AP to climb to the top. --BlobdudeTalk TM MC 23:57, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

- Change 10% chance of 5 dmg, 2AP, thud sound when you hit the ground, sounds cool. - Pardus 13:04, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep - I'd like to switch the skill purchase with an AP increase to use it, but it is good. --Z. slay3r • Talk 16:33, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

- Keep - I fully support giving use to useless blocks. I agree with Pardus though, there should probably be some kind of price to pay for climbing around. --Vandurn 14:40, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Kill Votes
- Kill - Meh, who's going to go outside looking for a monument, there are plenty of tall buildings about -- boxy talk • i 02:05 20 December 2007 (BST)
- Re You wouldn't go out of your way for a monument but it would be useful if one happened to be nearby. For example if you were outside searching for zombies and happened to cross a monument you could use your binoculars there spur of the moment. Or if a monument happened to be closer to your safehouse than a tall building it might just be the faster option. --Jon Pyre 16:31, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Kill- Survivors need no more help.-- BKM 23:57, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
