Suggestion Description

I Understand that the pace of the game is slow, however when spending the majority of my AP, which is dispensed rather quickly even when saved up, on doing a total maybe 15 or 20 damage with an axe is frustrating. The AP cost for movement seems completely fair. However what I feel is slightly more incongruous is that running across a city block requires the same expenditure of effort as swinging a melee weapon or firing a ranged one. I am not attempting to equate AP to time but more argue that exploring a suburb or building is a more engaging action than pressing attack 30 times. Perhaps a standard AP cost could be incurred for entering combat. To keep pacing as it is now, the cost could be high, 10 or more AP points, perhaps. It seems more logical as well that a zombie who found a sleeping player would eat them or a human player who found a sleeping zombie would kill them rather than start combat and then either flee half way through or fall asleep against an unconscious opponent. With the low hit rate coupled with the AP cost per individual attack, attacking as it is now, seems almost pointless.

    Re I am suggesting something: A change to the AP cost of combat. It doesn't have to be a set cost to begin, it could be 10AP gets you 15 attacks or 20. Doesn't have to be indefinite attacking, I was merely giving one possibility.User:Maxwell Substantial 08:05, 9 April 2008 (BST)

  7. Incomplete - You're still not formally suggesting any modification, just listing your grievances. Also, you must explain how 10 AP can be used to deal 15 or 20 attacks.
