30th of April

The Mall remains ruined. However, some of the Quartly study group, who have been fighting back, are beginning to take the persistent ruin rather personally. The local ferals have responded by eating their brains.--GANG Giles Sednik CAPD 01:02, 30 April 2010 (BST)

16th of April

Hildebrand Mall was briefly retaken by a few survivors a few days previous, but it has been breached and ruined at the time of this writing. Probable cause is that there just weren't enough people, and certainly not enough time to build up a sizeable defence before the zeds came munching. --UncertaintyPrinciple 13:50, 16 April 2010 (BST)

March 2010

19 March

Business as usual at the Hildebrand Mall, meaning it remains ruined. Survivors will nip in and repair the ruin but the facility stays dark and guarded by a small cadre of zombies essentially around the clock. Many of the lurchers switch duties between standing in the mall and noming on nearby survivor centers such as adjacent hospital and NT.--GANG Giles Sednik CAPD 10:28, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

3 March

The brief human interlude has passed and Hildebrand has once again fallen into the tangling grasp of it's resident zombie custodians, who, even as I write this, tend to the empty halls and abandoned hardware stores with a hard-working skeleton crew.--GANG Giles Sednik CAPD 12:29, 3 March 2010 (UTC)

February 2010

25 February

For the first time since the 12th of this month, humans have reclaimed the mall. One corner is lit and the other 3 are barricaded to EHB as of this post. There are scarcely any zombies in the area to mount a counter attack.--GANG Giles Sednik CAPD 15:36, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

20 February

The ruin continues. It would appear that no more than 5 zombies have been able to maintain possession of the mall for nearly a week.--GANG Giles Sednik CAPD 12:20, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

16 February

The Mall has remained ruined since the 12th with no interruption of light. However, the zombie presence has dissipated, leaving only 2 or 3 to defend the mall from humans.--GANG Giles Sednik CAPD 12:28, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

12 February

The same core of dedicated zombies has prevailed over the human incursion and the mall has returned to zombie ownership, having remained ruined for a number of days now. The shamblers have taken up permanent residence and are now making daily incursions into the surrounding TRCs.--GANG Giles Sednik CAPD 00:06, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

2 February

The siege continues, with possession of the mall switching frequently. While the mall has been ruined a number of times, the survivors in the area tend to recapture it within 2 days. There are currently 33 zombies laying siege to Hildebrand, most of whom appear to be ferals. Survivor numbers rarely top 100, and seem to average about 15 ~ 20 per corner of the mall.--GANG Giles Sednik CAPD 08:36, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

January 2010

26 January

It's been a nice long siege but zombies (mostly feral but in significant numbers) appear to have finally taken the mall. There is still some survivor resistance and the number of undead has dropped precipitously following the ruin of Hildenbrand.--GANG Giles Sednik CAPD 08:03, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

  • 1st Making my way to the local mall, I've noticed several surrounding buildings have been overrun. I ran inside a building with its doors wide open to find a zombie attacking two unprotected survivors that had rested there. I took out the zombie and re-barricaded the building, but it looks like it might fall again soon, along with several others. --Scout 2107 23:20, 2 September 2008 (BST)

Mall continues to hold despite constant break-ins. Generators go up, get smashed, get replaced. Seems like it's been days since more than 2 or 3 zombies got in at one time, thanks to vigilant barricading. Snackwell 17:23, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

  • 5th

Mall's condition is about the same as it has been for weeks: frantic but holding. All survivor numbers have been fairly steady, with the exception of the slight dip on Halloween. Currently fully lit and caded - but that will likely change anytime soon. Siege continues into its 4th(?) week. --evilbob 17:01, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

No significant changes as far as I can tell. Both parties are standing strong. PKers were heard yelling at zombies for not taking the mall when they had the chance.--Xshu 02:21, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

There are 110-115 zombies. I think, mall is under siege. I am human agent. Mall needs help.

  • 1st

The mall has had constant activity for over a week, with a steady escalation over the last few days, leading to a constant hectic pace at the moment. Break-ins are occurring multiple times an hour with survivor re-cading and zombie dumping happening just as quickly. Generators are being replaced multiple times a day. While the mall is holding for the moment it's a constant, frantic struggle both ways. The "PK sweep" that came through, in which at least three different PK organizations came in and killed as many survivors as possible, has had basically no net effect, although it did give the zombies a serious leg up for over 12 hours while revive points were busy. However, they seem to have either failed to capitalize on the opening or enough survivors came in to replace the fallen to make a difference - hard to tell. Either way, the frantic struggle continues. --evilbob 17:49, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

The PKA slaughters vast numbers of survivors in the SW corner of Hildbrand Mall during their Samhain Slaughter. The BBC premiers here reporting on the butchery. --Secruss 20:37, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

  • 29th

Situation still the same. Survivor and zombie numbers both holding steady. Regular break-ins and deaths with equally regular push-outs and revives. Some mild PKing, but it's not doing much to demoralize the survivors. Zombies don't seem to be making any progress, but they're being pretty persistant.--Xshu 06:51, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

  • 26th

Situation remains the same: SW corner is besieged, but break-ins are rapidly dealt with and the mall is lit, caded and generally a good place to hang out. -Aidan Swart 14:43, 26 October 2007 (BST)

  • 19th

All quads but the SW are powered and EHB. Zombie break-ins are frequent, as are deaths, but revive lines are up and running to counter this. Both Big Bash and Hildebrand don't seem like they're going to give up any time soon. --Xshu 02:53, 20 October 2007 (BST)

  • 16th

At this time, it looks like the mall has power in all four quadrants. However, the SW quad is being over-run by the walking dead (barricades are down), and it looks like they may be focusing on the NW quad next. -- ZEDU medic T MEMS 13:20, 16 October 2007 (BST)

The southern half of the mall lies in ruins and more than a hundred zombies are still outside, waiting to flood in. However, I would advise that you not panic, mainly because it makes you all stringy and bitter. Srekto 05:28, 4 September 2007 (BST)

Hildebrand needs help. There are over 150 zombies outside and less than 50 survivors in each corner. Break-ins are frequent and at the time of writing there are 20 zombies in the mall. There used to be around 250 survivors in the mall, but the seige has taken its toll. Unless something is done Hildebrand should fall in a couple of days. -ILoveAmp

The zeds had a nice meal today as 344 of them have currently finished eating the last human.. Hildebrand Mall, Has fallen.--OMGitsCHRIS 14:31, 8 July 2007 (BST)

As an added note, all locations for at least 4 blocks around the mall are extremely dangerous to the living. Hospitals in Roftwood and over the edge in Edgecombton have all fallen to the undead and been ransacked. All NT locations in Roftwood are occupied by zombies. This is a well coordinated zombie cleansing of Roftwood with anything taken out that could help heal the living or revivie the undead. You should avoid the areas at all costs. --Wke235 02:51, 9 July 2007 (BST)

NW corner temporarily invaded today by a few zeds, this is definitely not a feint. Survivors need to organise a coordinated attack on the Herbert building, about 80 people could retake it. --Irritable Tom 12:30, 7 July 2007 (BST)

Hildebrand needs all the help it can get, so if you are anywhere near Roftwood, enter via St. Arnold's Church (Roftwood) and join the team. Aside from firepower, we are going to be needing a whole bunch of medics, and a hell of alot of bandages. Petrelli- 07:45 6 July 2007 (GMT)

  • July 5th

This is a friendly warning to all people in Roftwood regarding the LUE. They have sacked Tynte, Woodroffe, Ackland, and Nichols (most within a day!!) and you need to be on your guard. LUE is far more dangerous then most people believe. IF youre the leader of a group opperating in or near Roftwood, you need to be prepared for a probale attack seeing as they plan on hitting every mall. LUE must be stopped.

--Raja Ram 8:40 pm GMT+8

As near as we can tell, the first four broadcasts were not any member of LUE. Betty has confirmed that she did not send them, and she's really the only LUEser into the "radio thing," you know (on account the rest of us can't figure out the buttons, being undead and all).
-- Vito Mortis
Okay, so it might not be LUE after all. Probably some random punk trying to get people to get the fuck out of Dodge (or rather, Hildebrand). I can rest easy now.

  • We have control again on Hildebrand Mall. Small number of survivors, but with all four corners EHB and south corners powered. --naoliv 03:22:06 UTC 2007

March 2007

  • March 27th
  • zed numbers dropping here. under 20 at herbert nt, just over 100 at hildebrand. think they've all gone to tynte. --Oktoberfest 15:35, 27 March 2007 (GMT)
  • 20 zeds still at herbert nt with over 50 'zombies' waiting for revives at neighbouring swansborough park. hildebrand zed count is now under 200. --Oktoberfest 05:00, 27 March 2007 (GMT)
  • March 26th
  • number of zeds in northern roftwood dropping off. only 20 zeds at herbert nt and under 300 at hildebrand mall. looks like the tour is headed to tynte mall. --Oktoberfest 20:25, 26 March 2007 (GMT)
  • all of roftwood is crawling with zeds, no safe houses. hildebrand proper has an undead population of nearly 600. --Oktoberfest 05:00, 26 March 2007 (GMT)

  • Zed numbers are 322, humans now under 25. BARHAH!-- 5:59 EST Kiroto
  • At least 300 zeds in hildebrand, less than 100 survivors. i've finally fled after being infected twice today, almost out of AP, looking for a safe haven. hildebrand is fallen. --Oktoberfest 21:15, 25 March 2007 (GMT)

  • The Seige of Hildebrand Day 6

Six days into it the battle for Hildebrand Mall is shaping up as one of the largest most intense conflicts in recent Malton History. The action is intense and around the clock, both sides have continously adjusted to the other's tactics. The presence of highly active motivated, organized groups on both sides has been apparent. With the loss of the Herbert building today, and some sustained breakin activity at the Mall itself it looks like the tide is starting to turn in favour of monstrous horde that stands outside the barricades. Developing... --Electrasol 06:18, 25 March 2007 (BST)

It's the early hours of the 25th and 43 Zombies in the NE corner might just signal the beginning of the end for Hildebrand --Slf67 04:25, 25 March 2007 (BST)

  • March 24th

We're losing survivors on a constant basis, close to 100 in the last three days. Though of course we do welcome and need reinforcements, at this point it's probably unlikely. More important is that defender casualties need to get over to Moon Way, (70,53), of Edgecombe, which is being run by numerous allies that are contributing in a VERY important way, now that Herbert has fallen. In other news, we have about fifteen zeds in the NW corner and EHB 'cades, but that changes every minute. For those of you that have somehow not noticed that zombies seem to like to say 'Grab mah zamba gab. Zambaz wanna ram baragagz w b mah? Agz ar Grag!' or something along those lines? Yeah, that's X:00 tactics, and the single greatest threat against us. Don't get lax, watch those 'cades! (Quote taken from X:00 wiki)

- Kell Tainer Sarkin Malton Defense Corporation

Revives still coming at Moon way. More revivers at the Browne building helping out now. Herbert building is a shell now. Dr Ironfast

Less than an hour ago, a PKer/death cultist/zombie spy was observed in the NW corner of the mall. This individual informed the zombies of a large difference in the number of survivors in another corner of the mall and then killed a survivor. With the fall of the Herbert Building, such actions are now a real threat rather than a mere annoyance. --Nucleon 22:59, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

The Herbert Building has been cleansed of harmanz.--MmmBrainsss 21:02, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

The Herbert building has more or less fallen, over 15 zombies inside groaning and more too come, no barricades and almost all the survivors that are left are below 40 hp and infected.

Herbert now 25 vs. 25 i used all my ap to get cades up but zeds broke them down in mins--mac13

The Herbert Building just had a Break in, 14 zombies in, 120 out. --Cap'n'cupcake 15:59, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Confirmed reports of survivors fleeing the critical resource buildings are coming in. Close your eyes and hum that Johnny Cash song "When the man comes around" or maybe Iron Maidens run to the hills. The suburb map claims that extreme NE Malton is still a safe place to be a breather.

  • the Herbert Building NE of mall is under continious siege, survivors count dropping. We need to hold NT if we are to hold the mall - requesting more forces! --Duke Garland 10:21, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Due to overbarracading entry points, the revive point at Moon Way is short one reviver. Follow the cade plans, especially during an attack so people can spend AP working and not wasting it finding entry points instead. Needlesareus 14:14 (UTC)

  • the Herbert Building Has over 100 standing zombies and over 100 bodies outside of it. Hurry up and shamble on over before the buffet is gone!
  • March 23rd
  • It's more of a walk.. err shamble... but try Moon Way in Edgecombe (3e, 2N from NE corner of mall) for revives. I'll be making rounds (while keeping away well away from the battle, you know fragile science type of guy) daily. Needlesareus March 23rd, 07:57 (UTC)
  • Despite false rumors to the contrary, Hildebrand is not hanging by a thread. The nearly 500 survivors inside Hildebrand, huddled together (often in the dark, urine stained center of the food court) have resolved themselves to wait out this siege. Break ins of 2-3 zombies is now a regular occurance, however it has provided a much needed break from the monotony of barricde maintenance. It is reported that zombie brains can be a safe alternative to McDonalds if prepared correctly. --Captain Beefheart 18:50, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Survivor numbers in the NW corner, where the survivors have been concentrating for this siege, are decreasing slightly. Some survivors have been announcing the grim fate of Hildebrand, however the siege is anything but over. At this hour, all zombie attacks have been successfully repelled and many survivor group still report high morale. Additionally, a tinyurl for a thread is being maintained in some corners, with the apparant intention of organizing survivors. That url is: http://tinyurl.com/25ksnm

  • March 22nd
  • Hildebrand Mall is a grisly sight, with a heap of 184 corpses against the barricades, the 407 Zombies are tearing them down as fast the survivors can build them. The attacks on the NT have begun in earnest and rumors of survivor panic have begun to spread, the fate of Hildebrand hangs by a thread.

Keep the NW corner barricaded since that is where they are mostly concentrated at. Dammit where are reinforcements from Giddings? --- Malton Defense Corporation

  • Fierce fighting continues, 390 zombies outside the NW corner, 218 survivors inside, very active barricading action by the survivors, and relentless barricade bashing by the enormous horde of the undead outside. The furious action at Hildebrand continues how long can this uneasy equilibrium hold? How long until a real flood of the undead gets through and everyone in the mall wakes up dead? The bravery of the survivors is stirring, given that revive times in Malton are currently interminable what with the extinction movement gaining ground in all corners of Malton. Yes the brave survivors continue to struggle hoping to wake up still breathing every day. --Electrasol 22:59, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Major breakin at the northeast corner, I wasn't there to fight it, but I was there to repel a much more minor breakin, as well as a combat revive. Again,

DO NOT COMBAT REVIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Several times I've seen an obviously combat revived enemy attack and taunt us, with only one of them getting killed before escaping. DO NOT COMBAT REVIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! --RevEngEspc 20:08, 22 March 2007 (UTC) Anyone with generators and fuel should stop by the mall. We really could use them. -Officer Kain

  • March 21th
  • I installed a radio transmitter a few minutes ago and i got a call through before a zombie trashed it. I also got a message back saying that a group of 50 to 100 people who are specialised in cading and zed killing, while there calling another 50-100 people who work in revving and healing are coming this way to help, they will flsuh out the Row police, and retake it while spillting up and holding Row Police from free running zeds. Plus Row police has fallen to zombie hands, only about 9 zeds inside it though, and before, SE mall cades went down to loosely caded, gotta keep it up people, we will stand firm and not lose this mall!--john spiro.
  • If you put a generator in the mall, ALWAYS fill it with fuel YOURSELF!!! Don't hope, that someone fills it later!!! A lot of generators have been already wasted because some people put them and don't think about fuel. All corners unpowered with +300 zombies outside. Barricades holding nicely.--USSR member, 11:50 GMT, 21 March 2007
  • -Sidenote, two corners are powered and over 400 survivors guard the mall with another large group in the nechrotech nearby, so things look ok. Breakins are a constant that we have to face with small groups getting in. Things are going ok though, with the exception of the largest mall tour siege of recent times. DRIVE THEM FROM THE MALL! -Officer Kain
  • Reports say many more hordes of zombies are coming from the north. Be advsied. -- Treylin Vanderkill
  • March 20th
  • A lot of GKers and z-spies have appeared in Hildebrand. Pay attention to them. Try to check profiles of ALL people, who are infected, and profiles of all new people, who come to the Mall. If you see, that their amount of z-skills is greater than their amount of surviver skills - kill'em, but don't forget to tell the reason of this kill to other survivors.--USSR member, 14:50 GMT, 20 March 2007
  • March 19th
  • Barricades on NW fell from EHB to no barricades within about 2 minutes at 712 PM. Survivors are holding strong, but zombies are putting ina good show. --Captain Beefheart 02:14, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Break-ins continue up to 11 inside SW corner, 170 of the undead outside, 73 breathers in the SW, at least 3 zeds in the NW. The battle for Hildebrand begins to heat up tonight. Rumours of panicked survivors fleeing are unconfirmed. --Electrasol 22:24, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Break-in! 11 zeds are inside at the SW corner, with barricades fluctuating wildly. No clue about the numbers outside, but right now somebody needs to go down 1 square and kill those zeds, while the rest of us keep barricading. Don't do anything but 'cade, kill, dump, heal, and if truly needed, restock. - Kell Tainer Sarkin
  • WARNING. 150 zombies are outside the mall. Statistically, the survivors should win, but the fallen will only rise up to become one of the horde that awaits outside the mall's doors.
  • March 18th Periphery buildings and Police Departments to the west of the suberb are falling. 47 Undead in the vicinity of Joyner Blvd PD. Stock up and be ready. Nichols Mall has fallen, so Hildebrand is probably the next target.

-Bad news. You guys are confirmed as the next target. The suburb is ideally suited for the defense of a mall and I hope that it will survive longer than Nichols. Speaking of which, all survivors (I need a revive) who are retreating here could bolster flagging numbers and lit ammo dumps won't be hard to come by in the suburb. -Officer Kain

2006

December 2006

  • December 18 After a lengthy seige, the zombie hold on Roftwood appears to be broken. A brief NecroNet scan shows only 18 zombies in the burb, primarily concentrated in the north. Hildebrand Mall itself is left well defended and largely clear of attacking zombies. For now Hildebrand remains a safe-haven for survivors, with a large amount of generators and supplies being stockpiled in the area.

November 2006

  • November 15 Following a relatively successful November the Fifth the Hildebrand Mall is now in complete survivor control, we the VGCSU being one of the groups helping it stay that way. Things are looking good right now, but if you can, reinforcements would be appreciated. - VGCatsDotHackAdam of the VGCSU

August 2006

  • October 1 For one month now, the mall has endlessly echoed with the shambolic movements and moans of the undead. Nothing lives in the mall, the zombies are entrenched
    Rotwood is 1.JPG
  • September 19 The mall still firmly in the hands of zeds. Things look grm for any survivor trying to get through.
  • September 14 Roftwood enters its third week of undead rule. Safehouses barely last the night before being broken open and the few survivors within infected and devoured, with resource buildings being first on the menu. Zombies wander the streets and dwell in buildings with impunity, and the ransacked mall has become the central core for undead assaults on the entire area.

Welcome to Rotwood

Rotwood.JPG
  • September 1 The mall is firmly in zombie hands and the whole area is being torn apart by rampaging hordes of undead.
  • August 31 The last few survivors in the mall are being mopped up. It's been zombified.
  • After a brief visit to Ridleybank to take in the sights of the motherland the Apocalypse Horde are inspired to carve their own undead kingdom and return to Hildebrand mall. The entire mall immediately falls under the zombie onslaught and numerous buildings throughout the area are taken and ransacked.
  • Hildebrand mall is now zombie only territory
  • August 28 A little queasy from their humungous binge on largely acid tongues, bile filled hearts, and vapid brains, the Apocalypse Horde take the two Necrotech buildings in the area as desert, slaughter the Black Knights in their Maiden Auto Repair shop headquarters, and then amble away from the deserted and ransacked mall.
  • August 25 The Apocalypse Horde remain in complete control of the ransacked Hildebrand Mall and a visit next door also exterminates the entire population of the Necrotech offices in the Herbert Building before it is ransacked.
  • August 24 The Apocalypse Horde storm into Hildebrand Mall and slaughter the occupants of all four corners before ransacking them. The feeding groans that have haunted the air all week cease and only the sound of flesh being munched on remains.

Hildebrand mall is now zombie private property.

File:Http://tinyurl.com/hyona

  • August 23 The Apocalypse Horde continue to butcher the occupants of Hildebrand Mall. The south west corner is taken, ransacked, and occupied by over thirty zombies. More undead enter and begin to attack other corners, depleting their numbers still further.

The mall teeters on the verge of complete annihilation.

  • August 22The Apocalypse Horde shatter the defences in the south east and most highly populated corner of Hildebrand Mall. The slaughter that ensues revokes almost fifty character's status as survivors, and over thirty zombies remain to loiter in the mall, digesting the slain.
  • August 21 The number of active defenders in the mall has been greatly reduced during the last week, and now the members of the Apocalypse Horde (spies and PKers included) come and go as they please; they get kicked out everyday too, but the defenders losing some 20 men everyday is not "safe" by any standards, and it's only getting worse. As the MFD Captain of Roftwood, I advise all survivors in the mall to seek shelter elsewhere in the suburb; Hildebrand might look secure, but as of now it is a deathtrap. Eugene Barrett 03:15, 22 August 2006 (BST)
  • August 21st With revivified and brainrotted members happily returned to undeath the Apocalypse Horde commence an assault on the north west corner of the mall, killing all survivors and then settling in amidst the ransacked shops and piles of mangled meat.
Update: There are 14 zombies in the northwest corner of Hildebrand Mall right now. About 60-70 survivors inside. Robin Robinson 00:34, 22 August 2006 (BST)
  • August 20th After a shameful PK'ing spree by zombie spies, most of them members of the Apocalypse Horde, which severely crippled the mall's defenses, Hildebrand is about to fall.

The combat revififed operatives weaken the south west corner before a zombie onslaught massacres the area, allowing the undead to settle in amidst the slain.

  • August 19th The zombies who had spent most of yesterday camped out in the mall amidst the torn remains of their victims return and break in through several corners. Mall population continues to dwindle. The week long assault by the Apocalypse Horde have reduced the number of defenders to a fraction of what they were.

However, reinforcements continue to arrive at Hildebrand, and the mall once again stands firm... for the moment, at least.

  • August 18th The mall is still in survivor hands, fully barricaded and populated. Many zombies still outside, but the valiant efforts of the survivor groups in the area are quickly dealing with any break-ins.

The only things "sealed" at the moment are the mall's entrance doors.

However, later on, the population of the corners continued to dwindle as a series of break ins overwhelmed stalwart barricading efforts. The Apocalypse Horde with recent feral zombie support cause significant casualties throughout the mall.

  • August 17th The Apocalypse Horde continue their assault, breaking through into several corners and ransacking the south west. Over sixty survivors perish as zombies pour in and send a large number of the mall population fleeing to other locations. Generators in resource buildings throughout the area are destroyed, hampering the relief effort.

The fate of the mall seems sealed.

  • August 16th Revivified members of the Apocalypse Horde, fresh from the destruction of Joachim Mall arrive and mount an attack on the mall and are soon followed by zombie forces. Despite superior intelligence and the excellent coordination displayed by the survivors, the south west corner is ransacked, and over fifty people perish in the initial onslaught.

July 2006

  • July 20th, 2006
SW corner of Mall Ransacked by Big Bash and RRF's infamous Group 2. 75 zombies, doom expected.
UPDATE: The Big Bash and The Ridleybank Resistance Front have smashed into Hildebrand with over 50 undead in one corner and another 100 or so outside. The mall collapsed after just 30 hours under siege: weak compared to Nichols, which lasted two days.

May 2006

  • May 27th, 2006
After some days of continuous battles, the mall is finally under survivor control. The zombie horde gave up and moved away.
  • May 16th, 2006
The Channel 4 News Team has arrived in part, and there is a small group of survivors defending the mall. However, there are nearly 50 zombies in the SW corner. All the better, for hunters ought to camp close to their prey!
  • May 15th, 2006
The mall has been overrun by zeds, all survivor presence has been killed.
  • May 13th, 2006
The Channel 4 News Team is on its way to Hildebrand Mall. We will be there in force within two or three days. Upon arriving, the News Team will buy new suits and then immediately soil them with the blood of our foes.

April 2006

  • April 15th, 2006
The mall is empty, except for some zombies.
  • April 13th, 2006
Hildebrand Mall is under heavy assault from organized zombie hordes The Shining Ones and the Minions of the Apocalypse. Surivor casualties are mounting.

February 2006

  • February 3rd, 2006
In the last few days the mall has been completely cleansed of zombies and is now under complete human control along with most of the other building in Roftwood.

January 2006

  • January 7th, 2006
As of about 20:00 GMT, Hildebrand is overrun by Mall Tour '06, with only a few survivors holed up in one corner. The zombies appear to be heading southward into Tollyton towards the next mall. As of 23:32, 7 Jan 2006 (GMT) - Everyone in the mall has either evacuated or has been killed. Over 60+ seeking revives
  • January 6th, 2006
As of 09:09, 6 Jan 2006 (GMT), the following strongpoints in Roftwood have been overrun and are no longer to be considered safe: the Greenhow Building, Grimshaw Road Police Dept, Dempsey Grove Police Dept, Eligius General Hospital, Mayo Row Police Dept, and the Herbert Building. The NE, NW, and SE corners of Hildebrand Mall have also been overrun. Refugees are encouraged to head SSE to Blesley Mall in Gulsonside.
  • January 5th, 2006
Hildebrand under attack. 50+ zombies breach mall hospital Eligius, devouring 30+ survivors. Scattered but numerous squads of 1-4 zombies are accumulating in Roftwood. The attack seems to be part of a larger assult on Malton's central malls. Capitalizing on the new barricading rules for large buildings and the new groan skill, zombies fanned out from the dangerous nexus around Ridleybank and attacked the Stickling, Tynte, and Nichols Malls. Survivors were routed with staggering losses. If the ferocity and effectiveness of these mall assaults is any indicator, Hildebrand is in extreme danger.

2005

December 2005

  • Late December, 2005
During new year's eve a great feast took place in the mall; an exceptional amount of survivors were looting the liquor stores that night.
  • Early and mid December, 2005
By the beginning of December, the mall and the surrounding area was considered to be under complete human control. The mall remained under human control for the entire time, including the first days of the zombie attack on Roftwood in mid December when many other key buildings in the suburb fell.

November 2005

  • Early and mid November, 2005
Survivors in Roftwood and the surrounding suburbs began efforts to resecure the mall. Reports indicate that they were fortunate enough to be in possession of the mall for the week of Thanksgiving, and were delighted to share in a uninterrupted Thanksgiving feast.

October 2005

  • October 22nd, 2005
After five days and nights of siege, the mall fell to the combined effort of the Ridleybank Resistance Front, the Undying Scourge and the Shambling Seagulls - quite how many survivors died is yet unclear, as many appear to have evacuated in the final hours to nearby safehouses.
  • Mid October, 2005
the Ridleybank Resistance Front targeted Hildebrand Mall, citing 'crimes against Ridleybank', and a siege began.

September 2005

  • September 21st, 2005
A loose alliance of survivors currently holds the mall, but does not claim to control it. The area surrounding the mall is patroled by the Council of Leaders Assault Squad known as Squad Zulu.
