Suburb
A Suburb is a named 10 block by 10 block subsection in the city of Malton. There are 100 suburbs in Malton, arranged in a 10 by 10 grid.
In the game, the suburb you are in is given at the top of the 3x3 map showing your immediate environment. There is no special procedure for moving from one suburb to another - simply keep walking and you will find yourself in a new suburb. If your map has fewer than nine squares, you are at one of the boundaries of Malton itself, not simply the boundary of a suburb.

Reports
Suburb crawling with many groups of zombies. Nearly every single buuilding is ransacked and ruined, and full of zombies. Many RP's are also in zombie hands. Those buildings still occupied by survivors are barricaded to EHB+, making entry to them very very difficult, in most cases impossible. Running out of AP in this suburb will be fatal. Survivors very strongly encouraged to avoid. Updating to Very Dangerous.
The Buckley mall has been broken into and heavily damaged by zombies. The southern half as well as the northwest is ruined, and there are a few survivors hanging on to the northeast corner. Many survivors in the area. Future plans unknown --Klopklop 16:03, 11 June 2009 (BST)
Chudleyton is under a massive seige, a moderate-sized horde of zombies has started sweeping out the area from an area believed to be in the southwest, and have been steadily moving in an east-northeasternly direction. A number of resource buildings have been ruined, and the cemeteries are filling up with zombies. --The Dark Shadow 16:34, 31 May 2009 (BST)
Buttonville manage to survive a raid by a zombie group known as batshit insane (base on rumors and resources from an undisputed source). The BS group 1st attack the southeast side of buckley mall and manage to break in with a totol zombie of 7 however they were quickly repelled by the brave civillian in the mall and the mall was manage to be save by them.the zombies also manage to raid a few resource building such as the tebette building (necronet building) and garlick fire station however they were all cleared by the civillians.Curently only afew darn zombies are left loitering around the area however the place has become safe once more.

Zombie activity is growing in the southeast area of buttonville namely the area northwest of the tebette building (griffin park).numbers of zombie break in has increase and number of zombies has also increase to an alarming rate of at most 20 zombies per area not forgetting numereous other zombies around the giant group consisting of zombies of 2-3.Pro-survivor group such as Army of one Love are working as hard as they can to exterminate the defilled abominations with the help of the civilians and other groups.so far their numbers have only increase and base from a scouting made by me and from my allies we concluded that the zombies has already infiltrated 2 buildings in the past day.Sources are still predicting if its an arrival of a new zombie group to the suburbs for there is no official zombie groups in buttonville yet however everyone living here is advise to take up arms and help in exterminating the zombies for the army alone is not enough. All help are extreamly appreaciated. changing danger level of suburb from safe to Moderately Dangerous --User:doomlancer 9.39PM, 26 MAY 2009 (reporting from buckley mall)
- Most the southern half of East Becktown is zombie controlled. This being the only PD (Loney Row PD) as well as the two hospitals. With the loss of that PD there's no PDs close enough to restock on ammo. Fall would seem imminent if help does not arrive. Zombie hordes usually averaging 10 per each resource building and plenty out in the open. Northern half is holding with small survivor groups holding out in the hospitals. --Takoom 06:06 PM, 25 May 2009 (PST)
Suburbs of Note
- Houses the southern half and gatehouse of Fort Perryn, the site of a constant struggle for pride and authority. The Feral Undead's base of operations is here.
- Home of the Ridleybank Resistance Front and suburbs of their claimed territory.
- Home to Caiger Mall, site of four of the largest sieges in UD history. The Malton Iditarod started and finished here.
- Home to the Yagoton Revivification Clinic, one of the largest revivification points in Malton. The Valentine's Day Massacre took place in Southern Yagoton.
- Home to the Eastonwood Ferals and birthplace of the notorious PKer Pathetic Bill, the suburb has been, since March 06, a very dangerous place for survivors.
- Home to the survivor group the PA Rebel Alliance, based out of Giddings Mall. In mid-September 2005, the PA Rebel Alliance is said to be responsible for the zombie group The Many's greatest defeat. Also failed to lose against The Shining Ones in a seige in May-June 2006. Also home to the Creedy Defense Force.
- Suburb once occupied by a group called DARIS, who made it a policy to eliminate all non-DARIS members within the suburb. It was eventually forced out by a variety of factors, including downright apathy and a possible zerging attack.
