West Grayside is a suburb located in south-central Malton.

West Grayside was Malton's number one entertainment and cultural hotspot and a major commercial hub before the outbreak. The suburb is home to Pole Mall, the innovative Hitoshi Abe-designed Clapton Stadium, as well as numerous fashionable clubs and pubs, and several popular cinemas. Whether it was hipsters or hip hop kids, football fans or Miskatonic student-intellectuals, postcard punks or upscale fashionistas, all kinds could be seen vying for the spotlight in the suburb's sidewalk cafes, pubs, clubs and trendy boutiques.

Darker times have fallen upon the neighborhood since the outbreak, however, and life has simplified somewhat -- with the major fashion statements competing against each other now being trenchcoats, tensor bandages and neural decomposition.

There are two radio stations serving West Grayside: 26.19 MHz is the frequency for the SE-4 district, which includes West and East Grayside, Kempsterbank and Wyke Hills; and 26.82 Mhz is dedicated station for Pole Mall.

Feburary 22nd

NecroWatch reported in from the Copeland and Topleaf Buildings today. Recent scans had revealed that there were 10 zombies within scanning range of the two facilities, after accounting for scan overlaps. Of these numbers, 2 zombies were at the Kimmins Row revive point, 2 zombies were also at St. Odile's Hospital over in East Grayside, with 2 more zombies at St. Luke's Church in Kempsterbank. The remaining detected zombies were each on their own and scattered across the area, mostly to the northeast of the facilities. --Mobius 17:33, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Feburary 16th

A few zeds outside, and a few survivors. Overcading is a problem, Pole Mall's two entry points are at very high cade levels. J.I 17:09, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Feburary 9th

There is officially no more zombies in the suburb after a brief scan. This is a time to rejoice!--Zink 00:52, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

January 2009

January 30th

NecroWatch reported from the Copeland and Topleaf Buildings today. A recent scan had revealed that there were only 5 zombies within scanning range of both facilities, after accounting for scan overlaps. Of these zombies none of them were outside either facility and all of them were scattered. Of these scattered zombies most were on their own, except for 2 zombies standing at the Kimmins Row revive point. The suburb appears to have a low zombie population at this time. --Mobius

January 2nd

Over barricading is STILL a problem. It seems to be a work of some mischievous player as all previously set VSB buildings are caded to, and only to, Heavily Barricaded and nothing higher.I almost ran out of AP trying to find an Entry point. --Mousey January 2 2009

Over-barricading is a SERIOUS problem, only 1 out of 15 buildings i checked was VSB, bring the Cades down people! theres less than 20 zombies in the whole suburb. --Montana8 18:27, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

December 24th

No Zeds in the immediate area, suburb is very safe as Christmas approaches.--Darth Elsij 18:57, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

December 15th

According to external military, the suburb is now safe. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Warm Puppy (talkcontribs) at an unknown time.

December 11th

Only one ruined non dark building in the whole suburb, a few small groups of zombies around. The main problem seems to be a shortage of survivors. It's pretty dayem safe though.--xoxo 01:19, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

Survivor population seems to be increasing, especially in Pole Mall and surrounding buildings. Still some ruined buildings around, but most are across the border in Kempsterbank.--Darth Elsij 22:30, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

December 7th

The last 24 hours have seen some minor zombie breakins at Pole Mall, but the barricades are up again and all customers with bad credit ratings forcibly removed from the premises. All sections currently at EHB and the survivor population inside is slowly growing. --WanYao 04:56, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

December 6th

Local survivors combined to remove the last remaining zombies from Pole Mall tonight. Currently, a handful of of brave souls -- including members of the SOS Brigade, the South Malton Watch and yours truly -- are maintaining a dangerous and somewhat lonely vigil in the mall, hoping to stay alive long enough to get the Orange Juliuses flowing again... --WanYao 01:34, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
