20080628 Enhanced Syringe

Blake Firedancer T E RNL? P.I.S.I.T. 05:31, 28 June 2008 (BST)

Suggestion type
New item.

Suggestion scope
Survivors, Mrh Cows

Suggestion description
Allows for a new kind of revivification syringe to be manufactured. Called the 'Enhanced Revivification Syringe, it is capable of curing both zombification and infection. It also allows the newly revived citizen 35HP instead of the standard 25.

However, in order to manufacture this syringe, you need to have a DNA sample of a zombie, taken from within the NT building you are using.

You cannot find an Enhanced Syringe, you can only make one.

Pros:

  • Cures infections
  • Revives
  • Revivee starts with more health

Cons:

  • To get one, you need 3rd-level NecroTech skill
  • You cannot search for one
  • You need a powered NT building with open doors to make the syringe

Keep Votes

  1. I wrote this, I'll keep this --Blake Firedancer T E RNL? P.I.S.I.T. 05:32, 28 June 2008 (BST)
  2. keep Manufactured syringes should be better than the stale ones found lying around in drawers. Personally I don't think you need all the extra fluff (just manufactured syringes also cure infection) but the basic idea is sound... remember all these would do is save you the effort of carrying and using a FAK, given the find rate vs the make cost a slight boost for made syringes is hardly going to ruin the game!--Honestmistake 11:59, 30 June 2008 (BST)
  3. Keep - It's not clutter if you have a button to turn it off. -Heretic144 04:04, 2 July 2008 (BST)

  5. Keep - Fantastic idea. Surely after all this time researching, improvements could have been made. - Zig13 - 2/07/2008 at 09:53(BST)

  2. Kill - Clutter. Besides, nothing that further benefits Mrh? Cows should ever be implemented.--Jiangyingzi 06:50, 28 June 2008 (BST)

  10. Kill - Over complicates a system that works fine as it is. Anyway, If I was hunting for syringes, I would want as many normal ones as possible, to do as many revives as possible.--drawde DORISRRRRFRI! 10:15, 29 June 2008 (BST)

  12. Kill - This might have been nice a few months ago, but right now, survivors are dominant. So no. We're searching for balance, not a survivor buff that makes the balance worse. --Vandurn 18:07, 30 June 2008 (BST)
  13. Kill - Eh, the work put into making one doesn't seem to be worth the benefit. --ZsL 20:10, 30 June 2008 (BST)

  17. Kill - I just don't see how this would be helpful. You can get nearly the same effect with a syringe+FAK, without having to break down the NT's cades.--Kolechovski 19:40, 3 July 2008 (BST)
  18. Kill - Curing infections with syringes is game breakingly bad. -- To know the face of God is to know madness....Praise knowledge! Mischief! Mayhem! The Rogues Gallery!. <== DDR Approved Editor 22:38, 4 July 2008 (BST)

  20. Kill - As Viktor, too much power in one object. Too easy to recover for dead survivors. Tylerisfat 11:07, 8 July 2008 (BST)
Kill MKIV Version also hunts down the zombie that killed you, rapes its' family, shoots its' dog, and finger fucks its' sister. No. Survivors don't any improved needles. --The Malton Globetrotters #99 DCC SNACK STRONG 05:47, 12 July 2008 (BST) Late vote struck. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 11:24, 12 July 2008 (BST)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Erhm - Just because I like being the first to be annoying. SPAM. PHAIL. -- THELORDGUNSLINGER 05:55, 29 June 2008 (BST)
  2. Gaaah - Pointless and unnecessary revive buff. But no one would use it, anyway, when one can just spend 2-3 AP in a mall, or maybe 8-9 tops in a hospital and get a FAK. --WanYao 16:17, 8 July 2008 (BST)
