December 2007-May 2008
Warm Welcome
Although I didn't expect to receive any welcomes at all, you greeted me within minutes of making my wiki account. I am very thankful for your attentive eye, Pedentic, and hope I can in some way return the courtesy. As for your suggestion, it is warmly received, though unnecessary. In the likeliness of my demise, I prefer not to stray too far from my place of death, and that stubbornness has rewarded my conviction with steadfast resolve. I look forward to possibly working with you and your organization someday, and turning this ruined city into a livable yet still chaotic atmosphere known as Malton. Best of luck! --Szutkra

Well in March when I made the report and there were 100+ survivros in every corner it was a minor irritation, now, who knows? And sign your posts :-)--RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 10:44, 17 April 2008 (BST)
NIKE bases
I am very impressed! How is it you know of such things? (No big deal, all declassified and for sale) Not too many people pay attention to things like this. I was pretty sure no one would connect the dots in the quiz--Airborne88T|Z.Quiz|PSS 03:21, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, I've not seen any of the movies that your quizzes are about. I've just had some experience with search engines. In this case, I found a page on IMDB that listed the filming locations (one of which was a NIKE missile base in Pennsylvania). --Pedentic 11:13, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

- I would just like to make a very-very small point. The "Big Shinny Medal" is actually the CMH (IE: The Congressional Medal of Honor). In the world of the military there is no equal to its valor/honor/ respect. Basically, you have to die to receive this award. But you die in such a way that yu end up saving many lives in the end. (Example: throwing yourself on a grenade to save those around you)
- I dunno friends! The service men and women call it "The Pale Blue Ribbon". There is "Nothing happy or patriotic about it". But it is not a part of a game, or the punchline of a joke, it is the "sad/ple blue ribbon" Of men and women who laid down their lives when they least expected it to ensure tomorrow would come and be the same as the day before it.
On the issue of the "pale blue ribbon": It is said, "That the true measure of a "hero" is that he is willing to lay down his life knowing full well that no-one will ever know of the stand he made; no matter how clorious the out come maybe. Our hero, sacrificed his life with the knowlage that no-one would ever think twice about him, and no one ever has.
We do have heros who give all that they have. But you will never hear of them. As a former military person, I am humbled and impressed with every story of the "pale blue ribbon" I find. They are all a "pearl", they are at the very least a collision of many souls in a rough and turbulant world. They have 'My respect, they have me grattitude, they have my shoulder to cry on when the killing is done.
The Pale Blue Ribbon is a mark on us all. We are all guilty... Ya know what? I will just ease off. They all deserve our respect, gratitude, and love! if you ever hear of a guy w/ a bronze/silver star- CMH/ a lost look in thier eyes.. Tell them "thanks", tell them it is going to be ok. Tell them the war is over, and then make sure it happens. If you find one of us, make sure you tell them you are his/her friend.. They are pry felling pretty low.
As a military person, "the big shinny medal" is not approptiate. The CMH=a selfless man's life
- I was not aware of this. Please accept my sincerest apologies if I offended you. --Pedentic 11:08, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- You didn't offend me. I had a few too many beers apparently and seeing the Medal of Honor referred to as a "big shinny medal" rubbed me the wrong way. You didn't know, it is not your fault. I am sorry I didn't raise my objections in a more constructive way. I have lost a few friends overseas and sometimes I have trouble coping or stuff triggers emotions.. Er, whatever(hard to explain). My point is the problem is on my end of the field not yours, I am sorry for the rant on your page. I have actually been looking for this post (I knew I wrote it but forgot where it was or to who).--Airborne88T|Z.Quiz|PSS 04:06, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Reign in the Jrmy220
- sigh* If you see the above unaffiliated character... 4th lvl... remind him to read a profile before unloading on a "zombie". I was trying to make it to the revive point at Male Way when Jrmy220 went all "premature" on me.... "A hail of gunfire" doesn't even start to give justice to this one man army.... Anyway, please "speak" with him if encountered....
Tai Tao Ren
Hello
Yes, I decided to help the survivors...we die a lot (survivors in general)...Currently the place is fine, except for the break in of a zombie...Still can't conceive how an VSB+2 with 20+ survivors can be attacked by 4 zombies?! But I won't complain is XP so whatever.--Lithedarkangel 03:52, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Can you move me to a new location? treeweek mall was taken over im going to die and I cant find a steady supply of faks. Also Im trying to type can you tellme what I did wrong?--greenhx 01:58, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- As far as moving, you could come over to Shearbank. We're preparing for an invasion by the Second Big Bash and could use the help. For future reference, you are free to go wherever you think you would be most useful.
- In regards to wiki formatting, you type ==Text==, replacing Text with your header. That would look like this:
A heading
And then you can type the rest of your message underneath, like so. Have a great day! --Pedentic 02:52, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
making an ad
Can you make an advertisement for The Rebellion on the Recruitment page.--I like selkath 16:50, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
- Alright. What sort of information would you like on it? I've been looking at The Rebellion page and am not all that much information. Generally speaking, recruitment ads introduce the group, explain the goals, and give contact or joining information. Also, do you have a group picture or logo? --Pedentic 17:11, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- well, joining information: no PKers and no zeds, contact: I like selkath, goals: helping survivors and killing zombies, we also do Missions that members can do, like taking over buildings for bases--I like selkath 14:17, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
will you be Allies
The Rebellion would like to have the Medics of Malton as one of it's Allies. --I like selkath 18:20, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'll put it up for a vote on our forums and get back to you in a week or so. --Pedentic 03:46, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
Colour Scheme
That's a good question. My browser shows the 777 as a greyish colour. (I'll replace it) I think the DDD isn't actually a colour, but a place-holder in case somebody forgets to enter a value altogether. I'll change it to green or something... (And sorry it took me so long to respond to your comment on the MHG talk page, I took an extended vacation.)--Labine50 MEMS | MHG 03:24, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

help me for the love of god i dont wanna be part of the Barrah anymore its not worth it....Help me become human so we can get rid of those damn zombies. ive been rolling with the big bash and realize they are pathetic. Even if there is more of the zombie horde survivors still rule over us please...please help me?????- User:Zombi PK
- Well, I would suggest heading to a revive point in whichever suburb you're in. You can find a list of revive points on that suburb's wiki page. Alternatively, you could post a revive request on my group's forums. Best of luck to you! --Pedentic 19:25, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Your Template
I tried everything I could think of: What I learned: The template's problem is just with external links. It doesn't accept them, for some reason. If you get the ID number, however, rather than a profile link... you could fill in the gap yourself on the member roster, or on the application. Just change Profile Link to ID Number: {{{2}}} and change the example, and you're set, if you can do it that way. Nalikill TALK E! W! M! USAI 04:38, 18 September 2007 (BST)

Pole Mall wiki
I changed the status report because it was quite simply not correct and thus misleading... Pole Mall is under attack by LUE, and I corrected the danger level to reflect that. However, I had no problem with the actual comment so I let it stand. I did not put my name on the comment, because that would be something called plagiarism and I do not do that, it's unethical and usually illegal.... My edit was made in good faith and was also factually appropriate.
'Nuff said.... but thanks for keeping an eye on stuff. Cheers, I have a mall to defend now.... :) --WanYao 01:29, 4 September 2007 (BST)

- Oh yeah. I also asked umbrella corporation for aid. I asked for advice on how to make group pages and on how to run a group. --Chesh Smalin 04:12, 18 May 2007 (BST)
- That is all for now. Keep me posted. --Chesh Smalin 04:14, 18 May 2007 (BST)
Greetings, from MHG!
A Malton Hospitals Group representative noted you in Dulston, and I would like to ask that you register any hospitals you are running with us. MHG, with the obvious exception of the single medic that usually hangs around in SE Malton, has no purpose in game, rather we point people on the wiki, and on the internet to the hospitals with doctors. The idea was largely inspired by people complaining about walking into hospitals infected at 2 hp to find it ransacked. Thanks, Labine50 MHG|MEMS|DHPD 18:14, 16 May 2007 (BST)
- Naturally, it's free to use. The MEMS has been using in on {{MEMS Member}} for a while now, and it's become a part of the logo for the group that runs St. Matthew's Hospital Staff.--Labine50 MHG|MEMS|DHPD 03:32, 17 May 2007 (BST)
Giddings Mall
The whole giddings mall thing was just a mistake. I was thinking the mall I was around was giddings when I wrote it. Then later I realized my mistake and changed it back. --Sonofagun18 07:09, 8 May 2007 (BST)
What?
the heck are you talking about ? Where didn't i add my profile as editor ? Link ?--Cyrill Dent 23:43, 24 April 2007 (BST)
- When you updated the Mall Information Center, you signed your post the wrong way. There is a field marked "user=" for signatures when posting updates. --Pedentic 14:02, 28 April 2007 (BST)
okey doke
Purely out of curiosity, where are you moving to with all of you FAKs for the impoverished masses? Oh, and I do like that nifty table of contents. Thank You. --Chesh SmalinT!
moved a bit
I moved over to Treweeke Mall to do some resupplying. I will stock up some then move back towards you. Let me know if you move.--Chesh Smalin 18:44, 11 April 2007 (BST)
sigs
It's kinda complicated, so make sure you have a little time on your hands. First of all, I assume you're talking about using a template as a signature. Well, this is how you do it. You'll need to make a new page, such as User:Pedentic/Sig, or something to that effect. After that, click on preferences next to "my talk" at the top-right of this page and in the Nickname space write PedenticTalk MIC and check the box next to "Raw signatures (without automatic link)". This will allow you to use a template as a signature. After that, and you'll need a little knowledge of wiki code to do this, you'll need to create a signature for yourself. You can take a look at mine to see how it's done. Be careful with that you do, and make sure to test it out a few times before you use your new signature. Also, if you use an image, be careful of its size. I'm not sure what the maximum allowed is, but try not to make it too large. Do ya understand? I realize it's a bit complex. Oh, one more thing. If you don't want to use a template for whatever reason, just type what you would have used in User:Pedentic/Sig into your Nickname box. It'll make your signature longer, but it won't add to the number of templates on the page, as there is a limit to how many that can be used. --Banana reads Scoundrell for all of Yesterday's News, Today! 00:20, 8 April 2007 (BST)
Mall Report, Ackland
You forgot to mention in your report on there that all 4 sections of the mall are overcaded along most of the surrounding structures. If you are in the mall let everyone know not to overcade --Colonel O'Neil, ORCACommander 23:45, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- Ackland overcades as it is currently under attack --Doc_Crook, Medic
Hey!
The time zone is based off of GMT. That means that your update should go under January 15, not 14. If you don't move it, someone else will, probably me. Also, if you really want to, you can just move your user page to a new user page named "Pedantic". You'll have to make a request though. --The Surgeon GeneralDHPD|P! 04:24, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
- Don't forgot to change it! --The Surgeon GeneralDHPD|P! 04:38, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
- You kinda fixed it, but don't worry. I came up behind ya and cleaned it up. --The Surgeon GeneralDHPD|P! 04:54, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
