Not a Problem

It was easy enough I was in the area and it's what I do. I thought about leaving a message on your wiki telling you that you were back among the living. But thanks it feels good to be appreciated.--ZIPO 02:13, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

Escape from Odo General

Sophie - I found a few safe buildings on the northeastern border, near Houldenbank. If you don't mind the out-of-game contacting, see if you can get the other Odo General survivors to head that way with you. There's a few powered, EHB structures just on the edge of the suburb that I'm trying to find a way into. Sorry to have had to run, only had 10ap and no shotgun rounds left. --DubStreet 15:24, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Dub! I'm so relieved to know you're alive. I am as well, at the moment. I was about to run when you left, and I managed to escape too, but don't have the AP to reach you. I'm hiding in a ruin near the hospital, crouched in the dark, doors wide open and everything. I did hit one of the zeds, so he may follow me... will do my best to keep breathing. But the hospital is ruined now. There's probably no one left but me. I'm so sorry it turned out this way... --Sophie Ames 16:55, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
Hey, we're alive, so it hasn't turned out any way, yet. We've just got to find a safe spot to replenish our energies and get organized. It was probably a mistake to work out of the hospital. I'm still out on the streets exposed to the world, because Houldenbank has one hell of an overbarricading problem - I've yet to see a single structure anywhere in the suburb that can be entered by a survivor from the street. Not a good place to be at no AP and infected. --DubStreet 17:49, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
Try the warehouse next to Rabbitts Park, it was VSB last time I was there. I'm six blocks away now... he did follow me! Turns out he really did want some of that tea. Please don't get dead Dub. --Sophie Ames 18:17, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
I found a VSB in the Junkyard north of The Owsley Building, and am now holed up in Owsley. Watch out if you come in this way - I noticed that a PK'r who killed me a few days ago, THE Golden Girl, is inconveniently also holed up in that junkyard. I'm out of AP and almost out of script hits however, so all I can do is hope for a few hours. --DubStreet 18:59, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Escape from Penny Heights

Got it. God, you're a sitting duck then. Do try to forget about the PK'er, I'll revive you if she gets you. Well, that's if I manage to get out of this hell hole, I'm running through FAKs like a bugger. I'll see you in a few hours, wish me luck. --Sophie Ames 19:30, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Luck to you. If you end up dying, I'll revive you. We're only in trouble if both of us die. Which is, admittedly, not an entirely unlikely proposition at this point. --DubStreet 19:44, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
Tell me about it. --Sophie Ames 19:59, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
Safe for now. I slipped out without waking up that zed, sneaky monkey that I am. New hideout is empty and EHB, will rest here for a short while before pressing on north. --Sophie Ames 21:00, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
I'm trying to decide if I want to head back into Penny Heights with Piker Pete and the lumberjacks to try and take back the suburb. Either way, need to get some ammo first, and that's going to take a while. --DubStreet 04:18, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Update to previous - latest intel says that Joachim Mall has been reclaimed. If that's still true in a day or so, that'd be a great base of operations. Where are you headed? (Also: GET A MOBILE PHONE OMG) --DubStreet 06:35, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
I'm going back to Penny Heights, Dub. I was there to help dezombify the suburb, after what I've been through I might as well finish the job. Where and how exactly I don't know yet... but if you're going back too, then I'm going wherever is convenient to keep you clear of infections :D I'll be getting needles and FAKs today. Haha and yes, mobile phone. Hey, I just heard about Joachim on the radio (or maybe it was you?). If it's open and holds, yes, there's probably no better place to work from. But it's going to take me at least two days to get there, in shape to be of use. --Sophie Ames 17:17, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, it was me, sending out an emergency broadcast to rally some help. Seems to have worked, we've got a small survivor group building there now. I've got pockets stuffed with syringes and I'm using every other AP to hunt for ammo, so we'll do our damndest to hold the place. 27.11 has been dead silent since the Heights fell, so I can assume everyone with ears on that frequency heard me call them to Joachim. we'll see what comes of it, but there's at least 10 more there now than when I arrived this morning. Hope I'm not just creating another buffet for the zeds. --DubStreet 21:25, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Continued...

Thanks for the update, Dub. Those are good news. Bugger, I should be there already. I'm still in Houldenbank, cursing my rotten luck, searching for supplies. I thought about leaving now and resume searching there, but FAKs are easier to come by in a hospital so I'm staying a bit longer. I did take a short detour into Vinetown yesterday, which I kinda regret now, but at least I got a phone. Of course you're out of reach, but eventually you'll get a message about an RRF rotter and a freaky coincidence. Nothing of consequence, though.

Or it could be. Yesterday I passed a couple ruins in southeast Vinetown. Could be ferals' work, but I've been seing RRFers around these parts, both alive and dead. What I'm saying is, they may be just straggling, biding their time while the boss picks the next target... but it could mean the horde is moving north, in which case you may get a break there.

I'll catch up with you soon. Best of luck, keep your brains inside your head. I like them much better that way. --Sophie Ames 06:35, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Shit. If the information on the scentmap is correct (http://sim.urbandead.info/index.php) the zombie hordes are heading for vinetown, just like you suggested. I'm seeing a large amount of 'scent death' data flooding in for that region, and major quantities of zombies and corpses. We're doing pretty well rebuilding joachim - one corner is already powered, and more survivors keep showing up every few hours. --DubStreet 07:05, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
No sooner do I open my big mouth than we see a zombie breakthrough. Damn it - I'm never going to get enough AP to actually fight these bastards if things keep going on like this. May have to flee again shortly. --DubStreet 07:07, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
The bloody plonkers. Can't help today, I'm useless right now. I swear I'm going to scream now. Oh, just found out, RRF is officially headed for Vinetown. Not that it makes fuck all difference to you, I see. Please be careful. --Sophie Ames 08:01, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
Joachim has fallen. Myself and a couple other survivors went a little south, to Fryerbank. I'm holed up for the night in Bastick Auto. It's EHB, so hopefully it will last long enough for me to get some real rest. Stay safe, the horde is on the move. --DubStreet 10:31, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
Figures. Well you're alive. Are you hurt? Yeah do that, get some rest... can you remember the last time you had 30 AP? I can't. Heh. Hey, you can see St. Seraphim's from there, is it lit? How about the PD? --Sophie Ames 17:58, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
Hahah, 30 ap? I can't remember the last time I had 15 AP. It's been one 10AP run after another, for days. Exciting, though. I did some scouting per your request - couldn't get safely to the PD, but St. Seraphims is entirely in zed hands, ruined and occupied, 2 inside, 7 outside. We seem to be nice and safe for now in Bastick Auto, however. It's EHB++, and I'm trying to start discussions with a rep from DK13 to see if they'll help us retake the suburb. So far, the Lumberjacks, our native group, have been pretty damn useless. Or at least really hard to talk to - and they haven't even bothered to re-establish their own frequency. I'm trying to get in touch with them on their own forum, nonetheless, in hopes of at least finding out if they're alive. --DubStreet 18:40, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
:P Dub do me a favour and sleep 12 hours now! Someone will come you'll see. I just rang the one other solid bloke I know, maybe he'll come. Long shot, and one more is not much, and he's probably in Kempsterbank so even if he comes it'll be a while. Sigh. Not much I know, but it's all I can do... short of flashing me tits to all the lads here, see if I can muster some help that way haha. And don't you put it past me. Now sleep! --Sophie Ames 20:09, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Continued further...

Quick update: I'm in the Tomkyns building now, middle of Penny Heights, right under the phone mast. Found some bloke from MUM here, asked him if MUM is active in the suburb. Then a zed brought down the barricades, bit the guy, and left. Yeah. Don't ask. I barricaded lightly, but... guess what? I'm almost out of AP! Heh. I'll keep an eye on the barricades while I build up some. --Sophie Ames 22:42, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Took a short walk outside to recon. No zeds outside the building now. The MUM guy still asleep, probably infected. Will patch him up later, but I had to check Rothwell. Ruined, of course, 6 AP to repair. 3 zeds outside, 5 inside. Sigh. --Sophie Ames 00:13, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Shit. Someone just killed your friend. He was in the same shelter as me - I'll try to revive him, if you can get him to go to a space nearby where I can find him. Ah, nevermind - his body is still in the room, so I just asked him to stand up when he wakes up (if you can get him to wake up soon, that would be better) and asked the other people in the room not to kill him when he does. They've mostly been idle, so hopefully they won't interfere.

Since your last turn:

   * Aliteos said "Behold, the fate of those who would stand before the tide of progress" (1 hour and 22 minutes ago)
   * Aliteos killed ZIPO3956. (1 hour and 22 minutes ago)

No idea who Aliteos is or what their problem is. --DubStreet 03:26, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Aha. Found out, from another page on the wiki. "Aliteos -- PKer, killed User:Elizabeth Bickell a bunch of times and User:Marty Chex once in The Usher Building in Heytown; taken down by User:Marty Chex once, while he was a zombie. DO NOT REVIVE. " Bad fucking luck.

--DubStreet 03:30, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

I can't believe it, what a piece of shit! Yup, KOS in the rogues gallery. I'll try to get in touch with ZIPO, thanks for looking after him... so I made him cross half of Malton just to get PK'ed. Bollocks. Oh well, I have enough AP to reach you now, barely. I'll scout the Crady building, and Joachim, then head down south. I can revive him myself a bit later, to let you build up AP for shooting. --Sophie Ames 04:39, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Oy! The Craddy Building NT is empty, two zeds outside. Could repair it and cade a little right now, but I'm sure I wouldn't last in there alone once the zeds wake up. What do you say? I'll wait here a bit. --Sophie Ames 04:54, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Damn it! Somebody dumped the corpse, or he left - I'm not sure where he is now, to revive him. I'm game for coming back to Craddy, but it's a bad place to hole up. We'd be safer picking a non-mall, non-PD, non-hospital, non-NT safehouse. They're always the first targets for a horde, whereas they're prone to ignore other buildings, regardless of 'cade status, so long as they're not lit up. --DubStreet 05:56, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Alright. Yeah, we probably would be chased out of it, like Odo General. About ZIPO, I left him a message in his talk page, I say we let him tell us when he's up. I'm moving out then. --Sophie Ames 06:07, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Zombie town

Okay here goes. There are two zombies outside Craddy, two outside the Humphrys Building, two outside Brimblecombe Auto Repair. One outside each of: the Fairfield Library, Windey Towers, the Brownton Building, the Hazeldine Museum, and Tudge Way Fire Station. There were no zeds outside the Roger Arms, so I tried it - there are two inside. And one inside Windy Towers. All of those ruined of course, as are the PD and the two fire stations nearby - no zeds outside those, but I didn't check inside. There are 11 standing in queue at Churchous Avenue.

The museum was empty and I'm running low on AP, so I'll wait a bit here, then try to reach you. --Sophie Ames 06:38, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Sorry to be late had some trouble getting to my comp today wasn't sure were to put this lol. Hey Don't worry you didn't make me croass half of Malton I was in the area near fort Perryn doing revives there when the RRF evicted me I know I was behind on my rent but no where near that much. PKers are a real pain and they really enjoy putting me down Ive been copping a few PKs lately but don't we all if I see him Ill just even the score. I'm up just outside of Bastick Auto in case you were still wondering.--ZIPO 07:08, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Glad to hear from you ZIPO! But you did get my text message then, right? Otherwise I see how all this may be a bit weird for you haha. Got it, I'm hiding in a ruin nearby, almost out of ap, and about to make a run for Bastick. I'll revive you next, as soon as I build up some ap. Or, if Dub is still online, he may get to you sooner. And yeah, this page is getting pretty messy heh, I'll clean it up later today. --Sophie Ames 07:29, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
No rush ill come to you if you like.--ZIPO 09:01, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
We seem to be good, so long as the Philosophe Knight doesn't go apeshit and try to PK us. We've got a good spot to rest up, grab some FAK's, I've got a decent amount of syringes still, and we can get back to max AP. I'll keep trying to contact survivor groups via their forums to rally support for a takeback of the suburb, unless we decide to head elsewhere. Either way, it's nice to have some backup - spent Dub's entire life being feral, before now. --DubStreet 20:41, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, well, I'm counting on him rather joining a civilised chat on high matters... praise knowledge, and all that haha. Hey, right back at you :) I'm somewhat of a newb, as you can see, but I was already getting tired of being me against everyone else. I say we work here a couple days and then decide what next. It's a bit frustrating, yes? Everybody seem to have left the game in this area. I have an alt in South Blythville, fighting the MOB, it's really different over there. Still, I would like to see at least one of the Penny Heights malls retaken, before moving somewhere else. I'll keep an eye on us, I hope we can rest until tomorrow. Cheers! --Sophie Ames 23:13, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Continued...

Sorry about the noise, I cleaned up the page a bit, it was getting cumbersome to write here. All quiet in Penny Heights. I took a short stroll around, to check on things. St. Seraphim's been heavily barricaded, two survivors in there. Anderson is EHB and empty. Two in Blanning, EHB as well. Some of those chaps are really shady characters, but I guess that can't be helped. I'm going to take a nap. --Sophie Ames 01:48, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Any data we can get on danger levels and such of resource buildings is excellent. I'm reaching out to various survivor groups who claim to specialize in taking back redzones, in the hopes that we can marshal a major force to hit the Heights. The lumberjacks have to be considered defunct at this point - they don't respond at all on their forum, and they haven't bothered to re-establish either of their radio frequencies. --DubStreet 03:12, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
I feel fretful about that Philosophe Knight, Dub. He hasn't moved, I'm sure he raked enough AP by now to kill two of us. I mean, if he has the ammo. Speaking of which, it seems the PD has been repaired - your handiwork? Anyroad, I'm thinking of walking over to the War Crescent RP later today, reviving a couple survivors, and checking on the hospitals and surrounding buildings. Maybe even Lumber Mall, if I can rest a bit on the way. Perhaps we could find lumberjacks around, even if they don't check their own forum. Or LMS, for that matter. --Sophie Ames 07:58, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
It's also possible he just hasn't been online. I haven't seen him move or do anything in like three days. Argh - I went searching in that police station. 12 AP, and I found one, exactly one, shotgun shell. Sigh. At least I have my trusty axe. --DubStreet 08:34, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
Latest update on the Penny Heights news page - "Suburb is ruined; just enough zeds to stop it from qualifying as a ghost town. Buildings all seem to be either gutted or at EHB. Mall filled with the living dead. The upper half of the suburb is almost totally deserted. -George Zip 03:51, 3 February 2009 (UTC)" I think we're fucked unless we can rally a survivor group to our assistance. We either get a large source of dedicated backup - perhaps DK13 is worth a try, they seem active and motivated and they live here in fryerbank, so presumably they don't want a ghost town on their northern border - or we move on. Without aid, I expect my last act in Penny Heights will be to shift the classification from the 'very dangerous' I originally gave it to 'Ghost Town', sadly. --DubStreet 08:37, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
Sorry to be last again it is getting harder and harder to get to a comp :(. I'm not actively hunting PKers but a mate of mine thinks the reason I might of been a target lately is apparently because a bounty hunter has a name similar to mine and they think I might be an alt. But anyway I see the situation in this suburb is bad but I believe it should start to calm down soon hopefully we just got to hold on.--ZIPO 08:53, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
I just killed a zombie. Bloody hell, I'm still shaking. Dont laugh, you gits! It was my first one! :) Now I'm out of AP again of course. Sigh, it was nice to have 35 for five minutes. Hey ZIPO, glad you made it, and np, we don't have schedules or anything. And this suburb is recovering, but our target was Penny Heights, and that seems to be going nowhere anyway. How long do you intend to wait, Dub? --Sophie Ames 16:13, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
I'll make one last effort to contact DK13. If that fails, I suggest we say goodbye to Penny Heights for now and find a fight that can actually use our talents. No point getting killed for a suburb that no one else will fight for, sad as it is to just have to abandon the place. --DubStreet 20:39, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Continued...

Just got your message, Dub. I'm a bit tied up at the moment heh, but I wanted to acknowledge that :) --Sophie Ames 01:01, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

And in re: your last comment here: Fair enough. If it comes to that, I have to stay clear of South Bly, because of the alt there. Kempsterbank isn't too good either, because I'm not on best terms with a notorious zerger who is, among many other things, a big honcho for the Knights Templar. It's a long story, I'll tell you some other time. That place is too green to be any fun anyway. Other than those, I'm willing to go anywhere. The redder, the better.

In the meantime, I was thinking, maybe we could make the best of being working together, have a little fun, and perhaps improve our miserabl... ah, "underprivileged", situation, in this fair suburb. Yeah, I have a plan hehe. No trenchcoatery or grandiose strategery, I promise :D I'll tell you in a bit. --Sophie Ames 01:48, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Good news - just made contact with another survivor. He asked me for the name of our 'group', so he could join it. We may have some thinking to do, here. --DubStreet 05:38, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
Haha so we're a group now. Grand! A name, right. I'm on it. And thank goodness, because explaining the aforementioned 'plan', such as it was, was starting to make me feel more and more like an insufferable dork :D I'll do it later. Oh, before I forget: I went outside about an hour ago. There are 5 zeds outside St. Seraphim's, it may not stay safe much longer (and I'm out of FAKs grr). There's just one zed inside the PD. But there are 9 (!) standing in Bulmer Street, right next to us. Is that a revive point? --Sophie Ames 05:59, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, it's a DK13 public revive point. And I still want to hear the 'plan'. Heh. --DubStreet 07:06, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
You're going to, eventually, whether you want it or not :P I'm prone to overthinking stuff, or so I'm told heh. But not today. RP then, right next to us... we could check that queue tomorrow, at least put the needles to good use. I don't think DK13 would mind, do you? And about that name business... what, like, 'Kamikaze Revivers?' 'The 10 APs?' Haha sorry, I'm drawing a blank here. --Sophie Ames 08:01, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Well I clicked some bad buttons or something and am stuck outside I imagine ill be dead again soon. I have been most unlucky as of late. Did my message get through by the way?--ZIPO 12:01, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Oh no. I hope you're alright, ZIPO. I'm out of FAKs, but still have 6 syringes. So I can't keep you alive outside, but I'll revive you, don't worry. Please let me know when you stand up. I did hear you in-game, about the zeds counts, and that survivor that was probably dragged outside. Or do you mean, in-game mobile phone message? I think there's no service in this suburb. If you're out of supplies, you might as well head back to civilisation and restock... as you can see, not much going on here right now. Hey, will you join the 'group' as well? I hope you do. Good luck. --Sophie Ames 15:12, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

I went outside. Yup, you're there ZIPO, getting eaten by 2 zombies outside the cinema. Bugger. Well, tell me when you stand up to revive you. Dub, I scanned some zeds in that queue:

There were 3 more. No rotters in sight. But I counted 13 zeds, presumably hostile, spreaded outside the neighboring buildings. No zeds outside this place, but still, it may not stay safe for long. Both Gelasius and St. Seraphim's are ruined now, so I can't get FAKs damn it.

I'll check for records, then revive just one. I really think we should save enough AP for a quick escape. --Sophie Ames 16:16, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Update: they're all clean as far as I can tell. Revived Antony Plaza, MPD, he was the one who noticed the PKer in our safehouse. I have 12AP now, will try to get to 30 before the next one. --Sophie Ames 17:11, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

DK13

Bad news. It's as I feared - they make pretense towards a military structure and discipline, but when it comes right down to it, they appear to be little more than gangsta wannabes. I don't think we'll get any help from DK13. Their response to my post on their forums, explaining the situation and how it would be to their advantage to help us retake Penny Hills, was, and I quote, "You got pwned, lol!" There have been no other replies. Time for us to think about setting up our own group, and moving on, I think. Penny Hills is a lost cause, sad as that is, because we're the only ones who care. Also, I believe ZIPO is dead - there's a corpse with the two zombies in front of the Cinema. I'll think a little more about group names. --DubStreet 17:51, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

How charming. I'm sad, really. But yes, we're wasting our time. Yeah, ZIPO's dead, and he probably wont stand up until tomorrow. I'll stay the night to revive him on my way out. Rest a bit, Dub, and feel free to leave anytime, I'll catch up. We need to restock, Fort Perryn is down, as is Mitchem Mall. Any ideas? St. Seraphim's was already VSB and empty when I got there. I'll stay there a bit watching the barricades, hopefully I can get me a couple FAKs for the road. --Sophie Ames. 18:33, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
Well, I need to spend the night as well, spent all my AP clearing out the hospital so we could stock up on medkits again. Wherever we go, I need to make a stop to pick up a toolkit. A generator and/or transmitter wouldn't go amiss, either. And we still need a name. Hmm. FAK You is a bit too crude, I think. 'DSS Medical Technicians' has an amusing hidden meaning to it - that or 'DS&S', but is, admittedly, a bit bland...--DubStreet 18:42, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
I already carry a toolbox, and it's bulky. But yeah, very handy in a pinch. I can cover that dept. for the time being. If you get a generator and transmitter, then I'll get fuel. Blesley Mall, in Gulsonside? DSS, I like it. I don't know about you, but I was hoping to roam around, patching people up as close as possible to red zones. I'd like the name to reflect that. There are quite enough Emergency Medical Services in Malton already, but perhaps something like, 'Emergency Professionals', or 'Rescue Specialists'. Or 'experts', even. We're not your average random reviver here :D --Sophie Ames 19:50, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
I like that concept. I think we've just gotten a great example of the perils of hanging around one suburb too damn long. The two of us have healing and reviving pretty well covered, and I've got full gun skills and enough shotguns and pistols to take down quite a few zombies when needed (when I'm not strung out, exhsuted, and ammo depleted), so I can handle defense as well, though we could probably use additional support in that respect. DSS Combat Support Squad? DSS Combat Revival Squad? Danger Zone Technicians? Danger Zone Support Co? DSS Danger Rescue Specialists? You're right, we should avoid EMS-style names, civic type names, something that sounds more mercenary and professional. Hmmm. --DubStreet 20:26, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
DSS Field Rescue Specialists. DSS Danger Zone Medical. DSS Red-Zone Operations. I don't quite like 'squads'. We may be spending way too much time on this haha. I'd actually settle for your 'DSS Medical Technicians', best one so far I think. --Sophie Ames 22:05, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
Lumber mall is up and powered. South side has had a small zombie break-in, but I revived the dead survivor and put up what barricades I could. We'll need backup there quickly, but a decent group has gathered. C'mon up. Updating intel now. --DubStreet 06:27, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Lumber Mall

7 zeds outside the south block, counted 8 more spreaded in the neighbourhood. I hope they're as tired as I am. The survivor in the south is okay for now. I could only barricade lightly+2 or so. I need to sleep now. --Sophie Ames 07:25, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

EMRP is in - 70 or so zeds on the streets, most buildings smashed, almost no power anywhere in the suburb. Rothwell Building, however, supposedly has power - so we've now got a local NT we can hit up for supplies. I've got some AP so I'm going to begin stocking up on ammo and gear. --DubStreet 22:10, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah I heard too. I'm down south watching the barricades. Did you just take them back to EHB? Anyway, don't spend AP on that, I have that covered for now. Some bloke just entered the mall, Caetano something. He's polite. --Sophie Ames 22:16, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

I just checked the hospitals. Josephine is lit, got me some FAKs there. No power in Odo, but not ruined at least. Dub, Piker Pete is in Cracknell Towers, with 5 other survivors - two with (short) PK'er records: ChunkeyMonkey, 645877, allegedly a lumberjack; Mike Pasquinel, 1256140, from Doom Patrol (I've seen that man before, can't remember where). 4 survivors in Josephine, one seems dangerous: nemonic, 1211984, from the "Allied Travellers Organisation". Will inquire about them later. --Sophie Ames 23:34, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Talking with a few new people about banding together, now that we've got a temporary HQ, broadcast point, and resource point. We need a name now more than ever. What about Danger Zone Support Squad? Or Red Zone Support Squad? Or DSS Redzone Support? Something that cuts to the heart of our goal - to get to hot zones and support the survivor efforts to hold them. I don't know about you, but I'm not hugely interested on finding and taking a HQ. Much more fun to go looking for trouble, and solving it. --DubStreet 02:55, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
"DSS Red Zone Support". Make it so. (no 'squad', please). --Sophie Ames 03:18, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Penny Heights

Doc checking in! glad you guys are on it, here to help; have been dead for way too long but it looks like we finally got some work to do in scenic Penny Heights. I am currently operating out of Shalle 1 N of Lumber, have 10 FAKs, next goal is to fix the phone mast and probably get Rothwell NT up and running (I am totally out of jabbers. BTW, is The Big Prick still functioning?). My last visual scan showed only 6 zeds in my immediate area. Will also need a genny to complete. If I am not in Shalle when you arrive, I will return. --Dr Mycroft Chris 01:27, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

UPDATE-Made a scouting run to the phone mast, occupado by 1 zed, only 6 HP to fix. Don't carry weapons, I use Combat Revive to clear buildings. Will make a run to Phipps to pick up jabbers, then pick up a genny and some go-juice, will prob take 3 days to gather what I need. Do you guys have phones? I do. If anyone available, we can divy up the labor after I get some needles--Dr Mycroft Chris 01:59, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Glad to hear from you doc! I've got three needles left, might as well use them to C.R.A.P. some stubborn zeds. Pyncombes Auto is repaired, I'll let you know if I find fuel there. Josephine's ruined again grr. I didn't peek inside, but there are 5 zeds standing outside, and counted five more in the neighbourhood. We may need more survivors to hold them back, sigh. We both have phones. And yeah, drinks afterward! :D --Sophie Ames 02:22, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, apart from our new assosciate George, we're all experienced revivers with pockets full of needles. I'm currently down to one, however, with only two FAK's as backup. We should make it a priority to take back a NT facility, if Rothwell isn't still up and running. --DubStreet 09:13, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Rothwell is NOT, I repeat NOT up and running. I will get some jabbers to CRAP the zeds inside, have a toolbox to repair. BTW, the watch I have is still set to EST, Eastern Standard Time for the east coast of US. I recommend we operate off of server time, GMT. On radio, I will refer to this as ZULU time. This is standard Military Ops but may still be confusing to zeds with radios and also helpful if we need to coordinate efforts. Thanks, Dub for the head's up!--Dr Mycroft Chris 09:21, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
No problem, Doctor. Couldn't let you get offed by one of the hordes of PK's when we're just getting the recovery operation started. Frankly, I'm more concerned about them than I am about the zeds right now - we've got survivors coming into Lumber Mall, and if they keep running in there for murder, they'll eventually leave and we won't get the critical mass of survivors we need to force the zeds out of the suburb. --DubStreet 10:02, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
I'm out of FAKs now, that's bugging me to no end. No fuel either, have toolbox. If doc's going to Fryerbank, we could get that NT ourselves with my needles, Dub. May be better to wait for him, though, so we can defend it together afterwards. And I really think we need to jab survivors, we need people barricading and the PKers are not helping. I'm on CST currently, that's UTC-6. ZULU is perfectly clear. --Sophie Ames 10:11, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Agreed. Ideally, we need to be reviving armed survivors, who can then take on the PK's, while we continue to heal and revive. That will let us act as force multipliers, instead of just throwing away our AP trying to deal with the pk's directly. I've got a toolbox as well now, will be trying to locate fuel or a generator asap. For the next few hours, however, I'm out of action bar emergency needs - down in the red, energy wise. --DubStreet 10:42, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Hey! George Zip here! I made it out of the library, although there were six zombies outside. I ended up in St. Elizabeth's in Pegton and I'll gather up kits before heading back south-southeast. Status report: zeds everywhere, pretty much. You're gonna need a lot more people, preferably people who don't die as often as I do. Thanks again for that last patch-up, by the way. -George Zip 00:15, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

I'm so glad to know you're alive Zip! Whoa, how did you end up in Pegton? Are Lucius and St Maurice's ruined then? I was counting on those if Josephine and Odo are in zed hands... God I hope Josephine's lit tomorrow. Ah well, you're alive, so are us - my zed friend fell asleep, and Dub rescued me. I say you stock up on FAKs then, spend a day, if it's lit you'll hopefully get 10 kits, maybe more... and believe me, you're going to use them here. And yeah we'll resuscitate a whole bunch... but you're one of us now, so you're more important and better and look just shut it and don't put down yourself! :P No, really, do try not to get dead, we can't go for you there easily. But if you do, doesn't matter, we'll figure something out. Watch out for PKers, and stay clear of Vinetown, RRF is tearing that place. Luck to you. --Sophie Ames 03:48, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
Sophie's right, you're one of us, which means I'll cross three suburbs to revive you, regardless of how many other people there are who may need it. I'm hoping Mycroft or his colleagues can handle generator and fuel acquisition, so we can continue to focus on the medical end of things, with a side order of repair and barricading. --DubStreet 06:28, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Continued...

Damn, you guys work fast! It will be pleasure to continue with you all. Back in PH, got killed over at Phipps, currently in junkyard...zombiefied!--Dr Mycroft Chris 02:44, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Oh, I just want to party with you, doc, and we can't very well get to that while the suburb is in tatters, now can we? Got it, I'm a little low on AP right now, I'll be with you in 12 hours time, maybe less, if Dub doesn't get there first. --Sophie Ames 03:43, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Man that is sweet news! just so you know, junkyard above Cracknell--Dr Mycroft Chris 06:35, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
You're taken care of, Mycroft. Back amongst the living. I've got Odo General Hospital fueled and at EHB, so hop on over and grab some FAK's. I'm going to have to chill here for a few hours after reviving you - wouldn't mind some company while I nap so I know if a horde bursts in on me. --DubStreet 07:51, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Back in Odo, Dub. Wow. Do you remember? Last time I had to flee with 3 AP and an RRF rotter in hot pursuit, all the way up to Houldenbank, while you were wandering outside infected, looking for a VSB. Heh. Ah well, back to present matters: When I left Rothwell, few minutes ago, there were six survivors there already. It's retaken for good, I should think. But some of those people really need healing. Few zeds outside: the five at Josephine, three more in Club Crossland, one or two in buildings here and there. Looking good. But Dub, I'm going to be offline for a few hours now, can't really help you watch :( --Sophie Ames 09:32, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
All quiet in Odo. But latest update of the Penny Heights page says Rothwell is under attack. Didn't take much time off, the bloody plonkers. --Sophie Ames 17:14, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Tomkyns and Rothwell

Hey Dub. I peeked into Tomkyns about an hour ago. There's a generator in there already, it only needs fuel. The building was VSB, though, I brought it up to HB. I'm at 13 AP now, I think I'll need some 10 hours rest before I'm of use again. Do you have something in mind for the day? If you don't have some more buildings for me to CRAP (haha), then I'm planning on walking over to War Crescent and revive someone - there are a couple candidates in the DEM queues. That'll leave me with just one jabber, and I think I'll save that one for you. Just in case. I'll check on the hospitals too, while I'm down there, and restock if I can. --Sophie Ames 07:04, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Tomkyns is now up and running. Found a fuel can and got the generator going - cell phone service has now been restored to Penny Heights!
Yes! Mr. Street, you are the man. I'll be more than happy to be a target with you. :D --Sophie Ames 07:32, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Objective understood. St. Elizabeth's is all the way up the EHB with power and surivors and everything, so I'm going to gather everything I need here. All I need are FAKs - something you may or may not find funny is that I am, in fact, armed to the teeth - but have terrible aim. I have two loaded pistols, four clips, three flare guns, a shotgun shell (but no shotgun), a fire ax and a toolbox. I also have a radio, a cell phone, binoculars and a book. The book is a John Grisham court-case thriller. And, after a busy round of scrounging, I'm up to four FAKs. If tomorrow's this good I'll be back by nightfall.

The toolbox - which is presently retained for its bludgeoning value - will be very helpful to me once I get the skills I need to use it properly. As of yet, however, I can only claim to be too smart to be called a newbie, and too new to be called anything official. By the way, it's nice to know I'm officially welcomed into the team. I think I'm using the right cliche when I say that it's time to take back the streets. -George Zip 10:30, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Sophie - I'm making some small edits to our group page (and to dub's profile, as well). Let me know what you think, when they're done. Made the acquaintance of doug05257, an unfortunate young man who I accidentally kicked outside. I'd thought he was the zombie I killed earlier, when apparently he was someone that had just been revived. I'm assuming you revived him - if not, we've another good Samaritan in our midst. I've begun talking to promising survivors about our organization and our goals - hopefully we'll be recruiting more assistance, soon.
George - Stay safe, mate. Keep us posted, and send me a message on my talk page if you get into any trouble. I'll be happy to show you how to use that toolbox, once you've got a bit more experience under your belt. While you're out and about, remember to try and update the status files for important buildings you pass. Even if you don't have the time to go in, just seeing if they're unpowered or ruined, when they'd been reported as safe, is a huge help. Every piece of valid information we get can save lives - quite possibly our own! See you soon, I'm sure. --DubStreet 13:02, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
Haha George, I know all about having weapons and not knowing how to use them - that actually got me killed, remind me to tell you about it some time. Good luck with the kits, and yeah keep that toolbox, very handy that one. Dub, that Doug bloke was the zed standing in Tomkyns, who got CRed by me so I could repair... well, it's not much of a "combat" one when your zed profile asks for the revive, now is it? Heh. I told you to leave the body inside, right before my little emergency yesterday, you must have missed it. And anyway, I'm actually with you, about that building being too important to take a chance. I'm a bit busy at the moment IRL, but I'll check your changes in an hour or two. --Sophie Ames 14:32, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Break-in

URGENT: This is George. I traveled back from St. Elizabeth's; status listing on the Penny Heights page. The Rothwell building is crawling with zeds. I've already notified Dub. Scare up somebody with NT creds and send him to Rothwell: there's still one survivor in there.... -George Zip 00:34, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

Got it George, glad to see you back. Are you safe? Hurt? How many zeds in Rothwell? You may want to add this page to your "watchlist", while the forum is being set up, so you get notified when it's changed. Dub, maybe we could coordinate a strike with doc Mycroft? CRAP them out all at the same time before they get a chance to get back in? I'll wait for you to respond this time before going there myself (still regretting that one heh). --Sophie Ames 00:44, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Ah, never mind, seven. Seven! Sigh. Hey, that's one bloody great report George. May be a bit too detailed for the suburb page though, maybe we'll need to move it to our group page. But get to safety, we'll revive Miss Moneypenny if she gets eaten, but we can't afford to keep her alive against that. Let's wait for Dub a bit. --Sophie Ames 00:50, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
I do so hate having to leave perfectly good human beings to die. *Sigh* Like I said, I'm in Tomkyns. Do we have a headquarters? If we don't, we really need one. As for myself: I got beat up a bit but I'm not infected and have five FAKs left. Awaiting instructions. -George Zip 00:57, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Sigh. I'm afraid Dub may be offline. I'd say there's not much risk to you right now, what with the zombies busy eating poor Miss Moneypenny, and all that. I think we can wait. We have to, I have no choice. Try to check the barricades if you can, but don't burn up all your script hits. The factory 1N may be a better shelter than Tomkyns if/when you go offline. I may go up there to bring 'cades up, but I barely have AP for the trip and a revive, and I want to be ready if Dub comes. --Sophie Ames 01:15, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Alright, I'm in the factory. I'll hang here until you and Dub work a plan out. I'll just practice snapping my fingers, I've be meaning to learn how to snap my fingers. -George Zip 01:27, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Or clean those binoculars, too, don't forget the cool binoculars :D --Sophie Ames 01:41, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Got pretty good snapping with the left hand, cleaned binoculars. Moneypenny is - incredibly - still alive; the seven zombies also appear to be asleep. Fun project for another day: figure out exactly how much noise it takes to wake the dead. Moneypenny has free running, so if she wakes up before she dies I told her to join me in the factory. I took a couple hours off to watch - really - Day of the Dead. I'm going to knock off for the night; I'm back in the factory. We seriously need to start routing these conversations through the DSS Red Zone Support page. And we need a radio frequency, and receivers, and a logo, and possibly some more guns... I'm gonna sleep. It looks like this factory made sawblades, so finding something soft should be interesting. -George Zip 04:12, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Well, I'm not sure there's much of a point in our grabbing a HQ, since our operational philosophy is to move from one Red Zone to another, wherever we're needed. You're absolutely right about needing a logo, however. I suppose we could set up a base building here in Penny Heights once we've cleaned it, to act as a broadcast HQ for coordinating operations and reports, though that would mean someone would have to hang out there for the relaying. Finally, I absolutely agree - until the forum is operational, let's start handling these discussions on our wiki page, instead of doing them on three different talk pages. It's getting a little confusing. --DubStreet 04:22, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Whoops, earlier reply got eaten - adding it back into the page below.
Sorry, folks, had to regain my AP, just now had a chance to check in today. I'm trying to rally the troops in Odo General and talking with Mycroft via the mobile phone - we obviously need that necrotech facility - and if we did lose the survivors in there, well, we'll just have to bring 'em back to life. I've got three needles, mycroft has two and an essentially limitless supply of FAK's - how are you stocked up, Sophie? --DubStreet 04:27, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Sorry to keep you waiting, lads. I'm online now, catching up. Dub: five needles, two sodding FAKs, bit of ammo. 30AP. --Sophie Ames 05:08, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
I'm gone a few days and you guys start building an army it's good to see someone getting ready to take it to the zeds.--ZIPO 05:52, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

The Rothwell rotters

Hey Sophie! I got your message re. the Rothwell zergs. Now you know how frustrated I got. They weren' always rotters. It started with just bzink and knizb, bzink wasn't a zombie at first, but their inside-man gker. When we caught on to that we got rid of him, then they both turned rotter and he started adding to his little force which is now five, maybe six. Then every evening he wakes up and breaks into Rothwell again. I'm still don't know what his fixation with Rothwell is about. But yeah, it does almost feel pointless. I wonder what he'd do if we let him have Rothwell? Get bored and go away? Well if you folks are still in Penny Heights when I get back from this mission I'll look for you. --mvario 22:15, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, that's the thing, if we let him have Rothwell, he may get bored and go after Tomkyns - and we quite like having phone service in PH heh. We're not sure what we're going to do about this. Yeah, we'll also be looking for you - you're in my contacts now, as Homeless Dude. We've got a forum now, moved our chatter there - this wiki thing was getting a bit out of hand heh. If you ever feel bored and want to check on us, you'll be most welcome there :) Register and PM me (I'm "Dr Ames" there), I'll give you access to our "tactics" forum. Stay safe! --Sophie Ames 23:03, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Thanks Sophie! If we're ever fighting in the same suburb I may just take you up on that. Good to see you are taking care of Penny Heights while I'm gone. The zergs still being a pain? And I hope you're being nice to any MUMs you come across. The team I'm with just made our attack and we're trying to retake Fort Perryn. If you know anyone in the Whittenside area who is looking for a little excitement tell them they are welcome at our little party. When this is over I'll likely be back in PH so I'll see you then if you're still in town.--mvario 02:53, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
My pleasure mvario. Nah, I almost forgot about the zerger by now, we have bigger problems. We were this close to leave, then Joachim and Lumber were both breached yesterday. Huge mob at Joachim, 30 zeds or so, and 10 more around the hospitals complex. Brain rotters jamming the queues, PKers doing their thing... meh, business as usual haha. Not many MUM blokes around, I'm afraid - well we helped Sillvat and he helped us at Tomkyns. The Fortress is here, all the big shots. And it seems the Lumberjacks are coming back to life, slowly. Not enough, it seems, but we'll definitely stay a bit longer. Best of luck in Whittenside, I also hope to fight alongside you sometime :) --Sophie Ames 17:44, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Just to prove I have no hard feelings towards you like you kept worrying about a bit ago I made this.

Haha a zombie, yes. See Zed and Category:Glossary. Welcome to the game! And yeah, maybe next time :) --Sophie Ames 05:31, 19 April 2009 (BST)

Re: Det Marlowe

He asked me to pass on his info; He is nearby, has acquired pistols, rounds, FAKs and a genny & gas, will see you tomorrow. Also, I think he mumbled something missing you. I hope that didn't mean target practice,LOL!--Dr Mycroft Chris 09:25, 2 May 2009 (BST)

Thanks doc! I've been following your escapades, I think a friend of mine just passed you the other day in a motel in Havercroft haha. Did he really say he miss me? God I need to control my swooning... Oh no, I don't think he meant that, unless he wants revenge - he did lose a hitpoint to me some time ago. Ahem. We're still staying in the shack and the club, reviving, and wasting zed AP with barricades. I think we dumped like 30 jabbers on this suburb so far. It's looking up, but it's still a long way to go. Secured and powered the NT already, but we've got some persistent buggers in the phone mast, might find the lights too tempting. Know nothing about the southwest - probably still zombie town. --Sophie Ames 20:02, 2 May 2009 (BST)

Project NecroWatch

ALICE.png A.L.I.C.E. - NecroNet 2.0
Greetings Hashk/Archive. I have been observing you. Do not be alarmed. I have analyzed your potential and determined that you would make a perfect test subj<<ERROR>> NecroTechnician. As an organization, NecroWatch requires absolutely no "group" affiliation or commitments, thus freeing you to act according to your own motives, desires, and goals. The only requirement from you as a NecroTechnician is the task of reporting NecroNet scans from facilities within your suburb(s). Even then you would have the choice of how often you complete this task or which facilities you would prefer to work with. If you are interested in joining all you need to do is confirm your membership by signing up here. Starting on January 1st 2008 all NecroNet scans reported to NecroWatch by licensed NecroTechnicians will count towards ranks with the ultimate prize of earning delicious cake.

Whoa, you scared the bejeezus out of me anyway. Cake, you say? Um, okay. I'm in. --Hashk 01:13, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
Oh, Sophie. The cake is a lie. -CaptainVideo 08:25, 8 March 2009 (UTC) ("George")
But, but, glowing red eye here promised! Can't be a lie! *weeps* At least I have my companion cube to comfort me... --Hashk 08:35, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
Ummmm. No comment? But here you go. --Mobius 15:29, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
Companion Cube... missed, but not forgotten. No More Sacrifices
Sophie Ames once sacrificed a loyal companion, in an act that haunts her to this day, but rather then wallow in self-pity she has chosen to make a promise: no more sacrifices. Sophie Ames will never abandon another person, place, or ideal, preferring instead to fight to the bitter end for them.
Haha cheers Mobius, I'll add this to my character page :) --Hashk 17:22, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Please sign your danger reports

Hi - sorry about not signing the danger report - ill sign it in future I checked rothwell about three hours ago and there were no zeds outside... i guess it might have changed? --betamaxx 19:02, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

Not a problem, betamaxx. And sorry if I seemed a bit neurotic - I just had a novice user editing my danger reports repeatedly, without signing, and without listening to advice. Seems he had to banned by some admin :( Thanks a bunch for the danger reports, actually, I wish more people took the time to update them. See you in game I hope, cheers. --Hashk 18:15, 11 March 2009 (UTC)H

Hello, Hashk I saw you updated the thing for Martha Hospital, I want to help with the area, aka to get it cleaned up. Please if you will join the group it would be thanked. --Rozz Prinn 20:15, 18 April 2009 (BST)

Deacon Alley PD

Hey, Wayman here, I have CR'ed all but 1 of the zeds (a rotter) in the PD. The bodies need clearing and the rotter killed but I think we can get the place back if we act quickly. --Josh508 18:10, 9 May 2009 (BST)

Oh bugger. I'm at 3 AP in Rothwell. My team is usually offline this time of day, and most are out of ammo. I'll tell them in the forum anyway, but I don't have much hope we can be there quickly :( --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 18:26, 9 May 2009 (BST)
Don't worry, I've now finished the job. All bodies have been dumped. I am about to repair but I need help with the recading whenever you have the chance. --Josh508 14:53, 10 May 2009 (BST)

Seeking Allies.

I have played before. At Malton and at Monoevile. What is your whereabouts? --Robert Egleton 01:13, 11 June 2009 (BST)

Hi Robert! I have played too :) At the moment I have human alts in Gulsonside, Foulkes Village, South Blythville, and Pitneybank. All four are rather mobile, though. Plus a very nasty zombie in Randallbank. Why you ask? Allies to what? --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 01:29, 11 June 2009 (BST)

I am in need of a friend in Old Arkham. I am a roleplaying dude, and I never got revived last time so I went back to Large Row Police Department and was planing on taking controll again. After a few words, they killed me. I am planing on my revenge. I am scouting allies and old friends; --Robert Egleton 16:52, 11 June 2009 (BST)

I see. I'm terribly sorry then Robert, but I'd rather not get involved. Thanks for asking though, sorry if I made you waste your time. Best of luck. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 01:13, 12 June 2009 (BST)

I am staying in Williamsville. If you ever are in the area drop by. Maybe we can start a group. --Robert Egleton 17:54, 12 June 2009 (BST)

Me and Rosslessness are starting a pro-survivor group in Peddlesden Village. If you want, you can join. Rosslessness is starting a new character. --Robert Egleton 20:29, 12 June 2009 (BST)

Ok, count me in :) I'll join with this character: Julie Marsh. She's in Pitneybank right now, restocking around Giddings. Should be in Peddlesden in 4 or 5 days. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 10:24, 13 June 2009 (BST)

Okay. And thanks. War Buddies Militia --Robert Egleton 20:10, 13 June 2009 (BST)

We has the character names can talk like on radio on the discussion page. That way it'll be realistic. --Robert Egleton 21:38, 13 June 2009 (BST)

Okies. Not much of a roleplayer myself, I'm afraid, hope I won't break the mood :) See ya then. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 06:49, 14 June 2009 (BST)

Is Julie a roleplaier. If not. Then please make it so. I think I am going to make the group a roleplaying type group. Though you do not have to be a roleplayer to be in. --Robert Egleton 17:00, 14 June 2009 (BST)

Well... Julie is a character. Has her own style, "theme" if you will, different from my other characters. That's about it. I'm not really a roleplayer, so I'm not sure I can make her one. But if you don't mind a quiet girl who's basically efficient and straightforward, we'll get along just fine. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 17:25, 14 June 2009 (BST)

Lol. She has no reason? Robert's reason is finding A.L.I.CE and destorying her. --Robert Egleton 17:28, 14 June 2009 (BST)

Aw, but ALICE is so useful! Sophie and Sue work for her! Part time at least XD
As for Julie's reason... well when I play pro-survivor (most of the time) my goal is protecting people. Keeping people alive by any means necessary. So that's essentially the motivation for my 4 human chars. I'm a fundamentalist humanist. Heh.
My interest in the game is more about experimenting with techniques and strategies, and just having fun meeting people. Told you, not much of a roleplayer, sorry :( --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 17:45, 14 June 2009 (BST)

I'll get you one for Julie. I'll think of something. And Alice is the reason for the zombie outbreak. --Robert Egleton 17:49, 14 June 2009 (BST)

Maybe Julie and another character can have relations? --Robert Egleton 17:54, 14 June 2009 (BST)

Relations, huh? That would depend on how charming that other character is - and isn't it a bit early for that anyway? ;)
Haha no, but really, I'd advise against wasting your time making a background story for me. It's not that I don't appreciate the gesture, I do, it's just that I'll probably disappoint you when instead of sustaining my character I go all "oi, we should do this or that for AP-efficiency," and get miffed at people shooting zombies outside, etc.
And about ALICE... well she might be, but what's done is done and NecroWatch is invaluable for me right now, so I kinda like her. Spooky as the red eye can be :D --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 18:22, 14 June 2009 (BST)

Its not fun with out a story to play. --Robert Egleton 19:05, 14 June 2009 (BST)

I understand. But I don't care for stories all that much. Of course I like flavour, that goes a long way - I even did journals for Sophie and José at some point. But it's not my thing, so I lost interest, and now I just stop at a character description and a picture. Again: I am not a roleplayer. I'm a challenge junkie, and a bit of a socialiser, sometimes.
Maybe I'm not the kind of player you need for your group. What do you think? Your call. I won't take offence or anything if we part friends now. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 19:51, 14 June 2009 (BST)

No, No. I don't mind junkies! Lol. Would you try and recruit some members on the way? If you can spare the AP. --Robert Egleton 23:28, 14 June 2009 (BST)

I was killed... --Robert Egleton 19:12, 15 June 2009 (BST)

Oh, bugger. Zombie? Killer? I'm almost finished stocking up, still would like a couple clips but those are easy to get. I'm somewhere in Pimbank now, expect to reach at least Ackland Mall tomorrow, and should be in Peddlesden the day after. Why don't you shamble over to Chudleyton? The cemetery 12,23 for instance? It's an RP. With any luck you'll get a random jab, and if not I can stick you on my way. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 02:57, 16 June 2009 (BST)

I'm at the auto repair shop. Sooo. When you get here. You can stick me. I have another character. I want be bored. I would rather want Julie to get 10 xp. Also you'll need to repair it. VSB. And it was a zombie. --Robert Egleton 03:00, 16 June 2009 (BST)

So am I. If you haven't seen me then I might be dead again. I was forced to use Rat Tatic's. I will be one later. Upgarde the auto repair shop to VSB. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Robert Egleton (talkcontribs) 01:12, 19 June 2009.

Nope, I haven't seen you, and I did check in Fitkin... but I just noticed there's also Hersant Auto. Hm. Which auto repair are we talking about? In any case, I'm staying around the Bascombe NT presently. What are your orders, my liege? Haha. Need a jab or a heal? --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 01:23, 19 June 2009 (BST)

I have no idea. I was revived- and yeah. Sorry this is my new account! Lol!!!! Back on track. It is Fitkin. I will be able to come online later. --Robert Egleton 01:41, 19 June 2009 (BST)

Lol. Sorry THIS is my new account! --Dr Red Shadows 01:53, 19 June 2009 (BST)

Oh, I see. So your character is also Dr Red Shadows? Can you give me your profile so I can add you to contacts? --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 01:59, 19 June 2009 (BST)

I am going to stsck with Robert also. Lol. Red's ID is on my user page. --Dr Red Shadows 02:01, 19 June 2009 (BST)

Ah. Cool, got it. But which one is your Peddlesden Village char? --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 02:04, 19 June 2009 (BST)

YES!! I'm still alive!! Going over to the auto repair shiop now!! --Dr Red Shadows 02:06, 19 June 2009 (BST)

Haha okay. Careful, someone got it to EHB, you may not be able to enter. If you have free running already, try the ruined factory 1SE. Otherwise, let me know if you want me to find a VSB for you. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 02:10, 19 June 2009 (BST)

I'm in the PUB above. Still plenty of AP. Why don't you come over to the PUB? We can finally meat! --Dr Red Shadows 02:17, 19 June 2009 (BST)

I met you!!! And Julie is cute! Lol! --Dr Red Shadows 02:30, 19 June 2009 (BST)

Yup :D Thanks. Well prepared, too: jabbers, FAKs, firepower, tools... you name it, I have it. Nice meeting you, Bob. We just need a plan now. Do you have something in mind? --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 02:52, 19 June 2009 (BST)

Well I think I need to restock and that our little village is 2 heavily barricaded. Lol. I need a DNA thingy so I can get more Xp. My first thing would be 2 spread the world. Dunnel Heights Police people aren't doing jake. They seem not very known. My best bet would be 2 go spray paint all the building you could get in to. Has for me Dr Red is going to die. G2g,--Dr Red Shadows 02:57, 19 June 2009 (BST)

DHPD is large, effective, and well known, Bob. And they are good guys, just having a bad patch with zergers from what I hear. I have at least 1 friend with them. They already contacted us in the group talk page, we really should reply. As for the scanner... yep, you need one of those. Let me know when you're online, so I can check if the cades in Bascombe are low enough for you to enter. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 17:37, 19 June 2009 (BST)

I checked it yesterday and it was EHB. They did? I didn't see that. Guess I should putt that on my watchlist again! --Dr Red Shadows 20:50, 19 June 2009 (BST)

Robert, Bascombe it's VSB, get inside NOW! --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 20:58, 19 June 2009 (BST)

Okies. --Dr Red Shadows 20:58, 19 June 2009 (BST)

Umm. That may have 2 wait. --Dr Red Shadows 20:59, 19 June 2009 (BST)

Bummer. Cades probably won't stay this low for long. I'm going to stay inside, do try to ask me before moving and wait some minutes for a reply. If I'm online, I'll tell you the cade level. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 21:05, 19 June 2009 (BST)

Lol. I got to get on. I have to sneak at times. LOL. Found it. YAY!! Lol. And Lol again! I got a few scans before I went back to the Pub. Tomorrow I will work more on the scans, --Dr Red Shadows 21:10, 19 June 2009 (BST)

Haha cool, yeah I saw you found one. Btw, I noticed you've been talking with Doc Mycroft - he's a good friend of mine too. I was wondering, did you find out already the difference between zombie scans ("DNA extraction") and NecroNet scans ("map scans")? Feel free to ask me about that stuff too, if you wish. Congrats on the scanner :) --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 21:16, 19 June 2009 (BST)

Thanks!! I still don't get it. And don't you need lad experience skill to do the Map Scan's. --Dr Red Shadows 21:18, 19 June 2009 (BST)

When you go outside scanning zombies (extracting DNA), the information goes to NecroNet, where it's stored. That information can be queried: NecroNet scans are maps showing the number of zombies in many blocks around an NT building. This information is valuable - it tells you where the zombies are massing, which buildings are safer, etc.
Example. This is a NecroNet scan from Bascombe: User:NTScan/The_Bascombe_Building. At the time I write this, it's still the scan I got the other day. White bordered square in the centre is the Bascombe Building itself, the 3 means three zombies were scanned there (DNA extracted). You can see there were 2 zeds on the factory 1SE from Fitkins, none on Fitkins itself, none on the pub.
To get these maps you need the NecroNet Access skill, and you need to be inside a powered NT building. See Necronet#NecroTech_Skills and NecroWatch materials too, of course. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 21:42, 19 June 2009 (BST)

Thats good to know. Anyways. Have you went back to the pub. If you stay there over night the zed's are sure to break in. --Dr Red Shadows 21:49, 19 June 2009 (BST)

No. I want to raise the cades in the NT to a safe level before moving out. I need some AP for that. But I'm not going offline yet. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 21:55, 19 June 2009 (BST)

Your such a nice person. I wouldn't have thought of that seeing how I don't have that skill! Pretty soon I should have Free Running. --Dr Red Shadows 21:56, 19 June 2009 (BST)

:) It's not entirely selfless altruism - I'd hate to lose this NT, it's the only one we have. I'll catch up, see ya later in the pub. Btw, the fire station 1NE from the pub is now VSB - consider it in an emergency. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 22:08, 19 June 2009 (BST)

Just in case? And I don't think they will attack the pub. I should be fine. The reason they attacked the factory was that most of the other buildings was ruined. And if there is an increase in zombie activity then it would be good to use rat tactics. I think a baricade plan would be good. If there isn't. And I was wondering if you could check the zed activity when your down with everything. If it's not to much. --Dr Red Shadows 22:16, 19 June 2009 (BST)

Yeah, just in case. Barricade plan would be nice, indeed - lots of work though. I'll update the Bascombe scan later, that should give us a good idea of where the zeds are. I probably won't have AP to scout until tomorrow. Btw, that bloke from DHPD who wrote on the group talk may have noticed us because I revived one of their guys yesterday. Perhaphs it'd look good if I work the RP some more, consider that. Having allies near this ghost town would be nice. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 22:59, 19 June 2009 (BST)

Yeah. But it's not our dudy to help them. But having allies would be nice. I could get DNA from there. That way you get XP and I get XP. Maybe tomorrow we can work on it. I know that I'll be doing DNA any way, --Dr Red Shadows 00:15, 20 June 2009 (BST)

If/when you're interested in an alliance with the DHPD, I'd say first thing should be that you register in their forum (Sanpedro left a link) and introduce the group. I mean, since you're the leader and that.
Zed activity from Bascombe: User:NTScan/The_Bascombe_Building. You may need to reload the page to see the latest scan. Summary: 4 on Bascombe, 3 on that factory, the rest scattered in 1s or 2s.
Ok I'll do revives tomorrow then. Let me know if you have other tasks for me. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 00:47, 20 June 2009 (BST)

I don't. Just maintain the pub if it's under attack. And low barricaded. --Dr Red Shadows 01:15, 20 June 2009 (BST)

Thanks for the heal. That noob is staying there. If only I had ammo and time! --Dr Red Shadows 15:55, 20 June 2009 (BST)

Ammo? To kill him? Why? I didn't like what you said to him, "join or leave." Not cool. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 16:42, 20 June 2009 (BST)

If his plan is to attack me or other people in the pub...the 'burb or anywhere for the matter. He needs to leave. If his plan is to be a pker. Okay, he needs to be better. I could have got ammo and killed him. I'm not that forgiving when NooB players attack me. Sorry. --Dr Red Shadows 16:45, 20 June 2009 (BST)

Did he attack you? If he did, I'll take him out. But if he didn't, I don't see why we should provoke him. All I'm saying is: if someone had said that to me, "join or leave," my response would have been "fuck off, and I will stay where I please."
We need to make friends, not enemies. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 17:19, 20 June 2009 (BST)

He attacked me. He punched me alot! Then shot me. I wouldn't have said that if he didn't attack me. I want newer players to have a place. But when someone attacks someone I get mad. --Dr Red Shadows 17:24, 20 June 2009 (BST)

Oh! I'm sorry then, Robert, I didn't know. He's gone now. Little tosser just made my shitlist though - if I see him again I'll take good care of him. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 17:31, 20 June 2009 (BST)

NP. Tomorrow I am going to get FAKS. After that all I am going to do is get DNA. And after that get the reviving thing, so I can get alot XP. I will get alot of springs and revive some zeds. --Dr Red Shadows 17:39, 20 June 2009 (BST)

Ok. Note though, reviving is not really a quick way to level up - it's bloody slow actually. Both healing and scanning are much faster. See Guides:XP if you haven't yet. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 18:41, 20 June 2009 (BST)

I have, but scaning and reviving is usfull. Still 10 xp. --Dr Red Shadows 18:47, 20 June 2009 (BST)

Yup, reviving is best to help the survivor cause. But each revive costs like 18 AP average, so you're looking at 20 XP a day, little more if you scan first, and that's if you're dedicated and zeds let you work. So, 4-5 days for a single skill, a full week for combat skills for us scientists. Healing is also useful, and twice as fast.
In any case, I really think you should get free running before anything else. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 19:08, 20 June 2009 (BST)

I am. After that I am going to get the revive skill. I never revived before. I had it. But didn't bother with it, --Dr Red Shadows 19:37, 20 June 2009 (BST)

Ok. I'll just make myself useful in the area. Let me know if you need backup. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 20:47, 20 June 2009 (BST)

I couldn't get on yesterday. What did you do? I scaned today. --Dr Red Shadows 14:45, 22 June 2009 (BST)

Np. There's been no attacks on the pub. So I checked the RP, found no customers but 4 hostiles on Bascombe, so I CR'ed a babah, then caded and got me a jabber. I also caded Fitkins a little. The day before I cleared a breach from that NT and caded the PD north of it. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 18:39, 22 June 2009 (BST)

Cool. Where you at? You aren't at the pub? --Dr Red Shadows 18:21, 23 June 2009 (BST)

Currently at Edmund General. I told you in your talk page. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 18:26, 23 June 2009 (BST)

You did? At my Doc's or at Roberts? I never sign on to Roberts. --Dr Red Shadows 18:49, 23 June 2009 (BST)

Here. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 18:52, 23 June 2009 (BST)

Oh...I see. I thought that was like old or something! Cool. I am now level 4. Honestly Free Running can wait. It'll take a bit before I get it any way. I'll be fine without it. --Dr Red Shadows 18:54, 23 June 2009 (BST)

Unusual choice. You know what you do. I'll be in Edmund until I get 10 FAKs or zombies break in. Let me know if you need backup. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 19:34, 23 June 2009 (BST)

No. I'm having fun being the biggest level in the pub! Lol. I will go get more spyrings. After that I will head in roywood and get DNA. That about all. Maybe revive someone. --Dr Red Shadows 19:37, 23 June 2009 (BST)

I'm infected. Can you ininfect me? I used my FAK helping a almost died guy. Damn retarded. Dr Red Shadows

It's done. But you know already. Sorry, bit busy at work. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 20:33, 24 June 2009 (BST)

Lol. Life is life huh? I will go over to the hospital tomorrow and if there's no way to go in I'll go ahead in Dunell Hills and stay for a week or 2 getting DNA and sorts. I should be fine, you stay with ross's Monty. I will get Free Running then head deeper in and get NecroTech access. Then I will head back into the Village. Is that okay? Dr Red Shadows

Okay. I'll make myself useful. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 20:51, 24 June 2009 (BST)

Do you have a Crowbar??Dr Red Shadows

No. I have an axe. How high is the barricade? --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 20:51, 24 June 2009 (BST)

Its fine. I was wondering if we could go into a red area with Monty that way we can get higher levels faster. More zeds. Dr Red Shadows

You mean, go all three of us? Sure, just tell me where and when. Monty may be better off in Peddlesden, as long as the PD is up, so you should ask him first. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 21:13, 24 June 2009 (BST)

He should stay. He's lower leveled. Roywood would be the closest to home. We could find a place there, well I could. We could keep it at VSB and powered. Maybe... Dr Red Shadows

Meaden Bank? Dr Red Shadows

If it's ruined, we're going to need power to fix it, which will draw zombies to us. Or do you intend to go rat? Then we probably should stay mobile, rather than picking a safehouse.
What I meant above was that as long as Monty has ammo, he can level up fast. If you ask me, my advice would be keeping the Peddlesden PD up for him, and the hospital for you. But then again, that's because I leveled up with FAKs, rather than scanning [1]. You're the boss, make the call. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 21:39, 24 June 2009 (BST)

Stay mobile, Monty can come along if he wishes. You may 2. I will go. You don't have 2. Dr Red Shadows

I'm in Monica General Hospital. If you can get other to it and upgrade baricade. I'm lonely. Lol. Got level 5. Now am for sure going for free running. Dr Red Shadows

Got it. I'll be with you in a few hours. I don't have AP to reach it safely right now - still recovering from a 30 AP repair in Peddlesden SE. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 01:50, 26 June 2009 (BST)

Okay. There is 1 zed outside, or maybe 2. Can't remember. Lol. See you there. Tryed to find Monty but couldn't. Dr Red Shadows

There are two outside that hospital. I decided to stay 1NE, it's VSB too and not as tempting for zombies. None outside presently. I need some rest before I'm useful again. What's my work here? --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 09:34, 26 June 2009 (BST)

To keep your boss alive ;). Get xp and so forth. There are more zeds here. Dr Red Shadows

I see. I don't need XP, I'll repair stuff around. The hospital was raised to VHB overnight. Consider Gatley. Consider too that zombies also read the wiki, you may want to set up a forum. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 19:44, 26 June 2009 (BST)

I'm not into that kinda stuff. But I'll look into it. I saw that. I got 61 Xp. Soon enough I will have Free Running!!! Dr Red Shadows

Haha! warbuddiesmilitia.forumotion.com Dr Red Shadows

Neat. I registered already, I guess we can move the chatter there once a private area is configured. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 20:31, 26 June 2009 (BST)

Yeah. I will not be able to go online for a week or so b/c of scout camp. So it'll be a little down time for me. Dr Red Shadows

Ok. I'll go back to Peddlesden then. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 19:21, 27 June 2009 (BST)

See you then ;). Dr Red Shadows

I'm back...and I'm dead. Not that greatfull!! Dr Red Shadows

Hey Robert. Yeah, I noticed. Let me know where you are, I can stick you tomorrow.
And I have to resign from the group, sorry. Personal reasons. Best of luck, man. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 22:54, 4 July 2009 (BST)

No problem. I'll go solo again. It'll be fine. I'll find a group. Dr Red Shadows

Zerging?

Hello, I'm firite of the 92nd Response Unit, and i was not very happy about your comment on the littlehales building page that we were zergers. We are a group of classmates of 14 people who come together during our breaks and after to maintain the kirby complex, as we know it. You may think we zerge, but i assure you, we play by game rules. We find it ridiculous that you accuse us as a zerging person, just because you cannot bring the place down. You may think we are zerging, but we either communicate via msn as a group char to dispatch orders or by using the school computer lab when we meet up. We are named 92nd Response Unit because our high school class is 092S, and it was done to reflect that.

Oh, and i'm making hoodies for all my mates in the 92nd RU. need me to mail you one? Awaiting your reply. --User:Firite 15:53, 16 July 2009 (GMT+8)

Hi, Establish here.

To add on to what Firite mentioned, I wish to have you know that zombie zergs were found in the area too [Check UD id=1572030 and id=1572033, for instance. Both were found in Randallbank]. What makes me infuriated is the fact that you so easily proclaim all our efforts as that of a "harman zerger", making our victory (if you could call it that - I would!) in the disputed area seem illegitimate. In addition, that comment was completely unsupported by any evidence whatsoever.

Quoted from you (Hashk), from the Littlehales Building News section: "Being held barricaded and powered by a harman zerger who poses as a group, the "92nd Response Unit." Probably safe for survivors, although not very classy."

Now, let's discuss this statement. You readily state that the barricading and powering was done by the 92nd Response Unit (which I will mention as 92RU from here on). How could you have gotten this knowledge without a survivor inside the building?

1. You had a friend inside the building as a survivor. 2. You had an alt inside the building. 3. You assumed.

Option 1 proves that the coordination we have achieved thus far is not impossible, especially since we have the advantage of being able to meet in real life on a very regular basis. Giving you the benefit of doubt (as you should have, too) I'll reject Option 2. My guess is that Option 3 is the most probable scenario, which disappoints me.

The 92RU did not power a single building in the area, reason being that we felt it would attract more zombies. In fact, we had to destroy some existing generators in non-TRPs to achieve this! As for the "barricading" section, it's pretty obvious that we barricaded the area quite alot - it's the first step to keeping an area safe, no? However, stating that the barricading was done by ONLY the 92RU is essentially discrediting the other survivors in the area of their hard work! It's almost a certainty that other survivors barricaded too, and given the number of survivors in the area, probably much more than the 92RU could have did by itself.

Lastly, I honestly doubt your "harman zerger" would put all his characters in the same group. It probably defeats his purpose.

If you so wish, you could meet up in-game with the whole of the 92RU and we can have a chat. And by the way, we've just got our first member who's not from our class - one "Stuart Delay". We can send the email he sent to our inbox to you, if you're interested.

We don't mind losing a battle in-game. It's happened more than once already, and I'd say we're kind of used to it! But what we can't accept is people mindlessly spewing accusations of us cheating. This is especially so for accusations without any evidence whatsoever.

Hence, I humbly ask that you retract your derogatory statement. Thank you very much for your kind attention.

--Establish 09:09, 16 July 2009 (BST)

EDIT: There may be some matters, or points of view, that I have failed to see or account for. If that is the case, please bring it up! Constructive criticism is always welcome. Thanks, --Establish 09:13, 16 July 2009 (BST)

Certainly, firite and establish. Sorry for keeping you waiting. I've been trying to respond, but you guys keep editing my page. Heh.
First, your explanation is good enough for me, I shall remove that comment.
Now, as to why I wrote that comment. See I wrote in your group's talk page a few days ago, because Potassium Hydroxide's in-game speech puzzled me. Please read that first. I never got a response. And meanwhile, this is what I was seeing:
  • The unfortunate zerg-like traits of the potato characters.
  • The fact that you have accounts called firite and etirif, and the shirai ones, not to mention etirif's "real name" in it's profile being Potassium hydroxide, another account of yours. I mean, very repetitive bits, not quite like accounts made by different independent people.
  • Activity patterns like this one, where your accounts activate one just right after another, as someone logging in and out of multiple accounts would.
  • And again, complete silence from you when confronted.
I hope you understand why all this was very suspicious to me, and in fact mildly upsetting -- I don't like cheaters any more than Potassium hydroxide. But it is clear now. Don't worry, I haven't reported you to any list or done anything else than writing that comment (intended in part to draw your attention), because, of course, I couldn't be sure.
You may want to consider adding a note to your group page, explaining how the accounts, even though they look too similar, are actually owned by different people. Because, as you've seen, it is very easy to mistake you guys for a zerger.
Cheers. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 09:28, 16 July 2009 (BST)

Hey, thanks for your quick reply. We meant the namings to be a practical joke, as we wanted to seem all related in one way or another. Sorry if that confused you or anyone else. Let me clarify some stuff then:

  • The unfortunate zerg-like traits of the potato characters.
- Well, this happens to be three guys from the same gaming club who are with us and like to make practical jokes, sry about that. I'll try to split them so they don't seem to be all at one place when they like to do things together.
  • The fact that you have accounts called firite and etirif, and the shirai ones, not to mention etirif's "real name" in it's profile being Potassium hydroxide
-Again, the naming is a practical joke, and we're sorry it seemed so confusing to you. firite is the main 92nd core guy, and he (me =D) along with establish invited everyone to play UD. /My best friend, who happens to be one year older than me, decided to take etirif, as he didnt know what to call his character. Originally playing as a zombie to kill me, he eventually joined me in the 92nd. As for the shirai brothers, its real hard core real. two japanese brothers in my class are those two players.
  • Activity patterns like this one, where your accounts activate one just right after another, as someone logging in and out of multiple accounts would.
-This is easily explained; we like to go on msn, without anyone in game, and ask people to do stuff one at a time to report back. We found this to be the most efficient method of killing zombies, unfortunately, garrafuzz was one of those victims.
  • And again, complete silence from you when confronted.
-I personally have never heard any talk in game from you. I think others have, but decided not to respond due to a waste of AP maybe? i'll ask those idiots. Oh, and our talk page... we have never checked that to be honest. Compounded by the fact that it is mid-term exams here in my country, we only meet up to play UD. You might have noticed, it was only me and Establish editing the 92nd page. no one else wanted to, unfortunately. As a result, both of us didn't check the UD Wiki until now. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused. --User:Firite 16:50, 16 July 2009 (GMT+8)

Hey firite. Yup, I also just realised you may have not even noticed my comment, if you're new to the wiki... that was all my mistake, to assume you were ignoring me. There's a "watch" function in the wiki, you may want to watch your group's page. Mighty convenient, that. And I will be fixing the formatting of your comments above, hope you don't mind. Talk soon. I might even apply for your group with a human alt, you seem like cool guys :) Cheers. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 10:01, 16 July 2009 (BST)
Hey, thanks for understanding. You're welcome anytime. Just drop me a mail =D --User:Firite 17:04, 16 July 2009 (GMT+8)

Wow, thanks for the speedy reply. The namings - there's a deep story behind each. For instance, "Shirai" actually means white in Japanese. The names were meant to be oxymorons. As for the Potato guys, well, it started off as just a "Salmon Potato" in another game. They then thought it funny, and decided to make names with (fish) Potato, and they were slated to be PKers! (One could imagine the laughter generated from seeing rows of people killed by multiple Potatoes)

Admittedly we never thought about the consequences i.e. being accused of zerging. It isn't your fault. It's entirely understandable - after all, we came to the conclusion, too, that Dieharmanz/Dieharmanz2 were zergs. However, it was very gracious of you to withdraw that statement. I'd like to thank you on the behalf of the 92nd.

Oh, and sorry for utterly destroying your Talk page with these comments!

Cheers, Establish 10:13, 16 July 2009 (BST)

Heh thank you much for the explanation -- I get the joke now :) And yeah, it was not just the names of the potatos, also the creation timestamps. Yup. Just like those DieHarmanz dudes. Anyway, hey, don't apologise to me, I also assumed too much. But you guys know how irritating zergs are. Then we people who play straight get miffed, say rash things without thinking them through. Btw, you guys are really amazingly effective, congrats on Littlehales! Oh and I will be eating your brains soon, I don't intend to give up XD. Don't worry about the page, I'll clean it up tomorrow. Take care. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 10:29, 16 July 2009 (BST)

Hey there. Thanks for the offer, I really appreciate it, but I'm not sure I'll need it. The bulk of what I needed coded is done (the log of the event), and the rest is just a case of waiting on LoD and the Spartans furnishing me with content. It's a heavy burden, man :|
IMO what's constantly needed is motivation, more so than organisation. The more I think of it, the more I'm convinced that a roaming group like DSS, without some cohesive factor beyond the game itself to keep people interested, is a dead end. I think what's needed is a reason for people to log in and actually work together towards a goal. Once you have that, the rest sorts itself out. So 404 has awesome IRC chat. The huge groups like DHPD and the Fortress have (I think) a hierarchy of command that people can derive satisfaction from climbing. Or maybe it's the pride of being part of a large and powerful organisation, who knows. For DSS, I think I myself became the cohesive factor--I kept the guys interested for months through sheer energy, chatting with everyone, minding their status and needs, setting interesting targets... well, everything. But of course that isn't sustainable. I burnt out, and interest faded. Oh I could rant about this for hours haha (and I'm probably dead wrong anyway heh). Hey I'm sure Ross would drop by at some point :D --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 07:21, 12 October 2009 (BST)

Hey! Terribly sorry for the delay, I haven't been online much recently. Bugger, another glitch in the Matrix, huh? And I still have no clue how these crept in in the first place. I mean the map database was built by an automated process, a script that fetched and parsed the wiki maps... how could it have switched some locations?
Anyway, fixed now, thank you so much for telling me. You may have to reload the Paynterton map. I'll do a Ross here and offer a very special prize to the next peep who finds another of these. I suspect there is one in the Manhunt area [4]. Cheers :) --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 01:37, 26 July 2010 (BST)

DSS Satellite Phone PIN

Hey! I just wanted to ask whether there is any way of recovering my password - I managed to lose it. The somewhat good news (?) is that I haven't signed out so far so I was wondering whether there is a way of digging it out of my Firefox... I would welcome any reply! Thanks in advance! --Alexander Abramov 20:22, 29 April 2010 (BST)

Hey Alex. If the phone is working, then the PIN is in Firefox's configuration and yes, it can be recovered. Do this:
  • Type "about:config" in the location bar, without quotes.
  • In the Here be dragons screen, promise you'll be careful :)
  • Type "dss" in the Filter. You'll find your numbers and PINs in the list below.
If the phone isn't working any more, then you'll have to convince me that your phone number is yours. Which may be tricky, I'm afraid, because I won't peek in anyone's messages or phonebooks, 'cause it wouldn't be ethic, I hope you understand. So you can't just tell me "I PM'd this guy the other day" or "I have so and so in contacts" to verify it. It may be easier to just get a new number... --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 20:37, 29 April 2010 (BST)

Your lovely Map

In wandering you map, I noticed that in Edgecombe, all of the Police Departments are listed as PD's. I looked at the wiki, and it probably occurred because that is how they were listed here. Not a big issue, but I thought I would let you know. :D -Austin Hunt 18:04, 5 August 2010 (BST)

Oh... I actually sent an alt to check these, yup they're "Dept" in-game. Weird heh. I think I'll keep the wiki names tho, because map location pages link to the wiki, and the names must match exactly --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 09:15, 7 August 2010 (BST)

In the interest of keeping the wiki consistent, I actually changed the names on the Edgecombe map, but now that I look at it, the wiki pages all have Police Department in the name. Hey! Sorry I haven't been here, bit too busy RL. But hell yes, I'm ready and almost in place too. Coordination... sure we should exchange satphone numbers. But I think satphones are not that convenient for coordinating more than two or three people, we better use the forum as the main exchange. UDWitness w/ Chrome

Yeah, UDWitness requires a referrer. Chrome doesn't send one. It's actually quite ridiculous that it doesn't, seeing as how it's a W3C standards requirement. Anyhow, I'm willing to bet I will just cave and remove that part altogether. -   HaliphaxTCS 14:26, 19 October 2010 (BST)

Actually, I consider Chrome's behaviour correct, and FF et al to be rather iffy. The request to oddnetwork.org does not originate from any document fetched from urbandead.com, but instead from a brand new document created by window.open() and document.write(). And the script that caused this to happen isn't part of the urbandead.com document either. So I don't see why the newly created document should inherit an urbandead.com base URI. I don't think Chrome should change its behaviour here, and I don't expect it will any time soon.
Anyroad, I wrote an UDwitness extension for Chrome, bell me if you feel like trying it. It works, and it looks cute, with it's address-bar icon and stuff.
That said, I've stopped using UDwitness altogether, I'm afraid, the silly long URLs and now this finally did it for me :/ I only use dumbwit these days. Now if only that bloody thing would handle Unicode properly... heh. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 19:33, 19 October 2010 (BST)
Too lazy for the bit.ly shortener? ;P Anyhow, I see your point about the referrer behavior with Chrome. Honestly, without any server-side intervention from Kevan, there's no way to verify that anything submitted is valid. I'm no fan of security by obscurity, so I'll most likely remove the referrer check altogether in the near future. -   HaliphaxTCS 21:12, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
Yup, there's no way. I think iwit and dumbwit do some sort of validation on the actual content submitted. But that's a double-edged sword: being too strict with that may refuse screenies from people running the most intrusive add-ons (UDwidget and such).
Heh. I don't quite like shorteners. No way of telling where it's going to send you to. I don't think I'd click on a bit.ly posted by some random person I don't know... and probably even less on ones from people I know too well. News from George Zip

Hey, it's me. We crossed paths awhile ago, and I'm proud to say that, through my various avatars, I've been tearing down or building up various parts of Malton pretty regularly. I think I'm even going to try another Escape next year, since we had so much fun this last June.

The reason I've come to you is that I'm in the need for a spot of advice, since I'm trying to set up a website (specifically a webcomic) and it's going to have a forum, dammit. I want to use simplemachines, since I've been using that alot from the receiving end and it's been good to me. What I need to know is, What files do I need to load onto the server to make this work? Feel free to direct me to another website if somebody's already got a writeup on this. Maybe the guy with the cartoon foxes and the chunky bacon? I dunno. -Captain Video 06:50, 22 October 2010 (BST)

Oddness with Chrome.

Hi there Sophie. As suggested on the DSS phone, taking my info over here for you to peruse.

Every time I restart Google Chrome, the DSS phone comes up as "unactivated" and I have to reactivate every time.

This has occured on my work PC, my laptop at home and my main home PC.

Work PC : Windows Vista 32Bit with Google Chrome 7.0.517.41

Home Laptop : Windows 7 32Bit with Google Chrome 8.0

Home PC : Windows 7 64bit with Google Chrome 8.0

To answer your questions from before :

  • Make sure you are running the Chrome extension, not the Greasemonkey script (see wiki page).

I don't use Greasemonkey (I don't like it) and am using the pure Chrome extension.

  • Check you allow pages to store local data: Preferences -> Under the Bonnet -> Content Settings -> Allow local data to be set

Checked and verified this setting is in place.

  • Don't run this in incognito. If there's a chance you installed the phone from an incognito window, uninstall and reinstall.

Porn mode? :) I don't use it. I *want* my history saved, less typing to get to pages later.

So...anything I can try? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Icehawg (talkcontribs) 2010-10-25T13:44:39.

I'm working on this dude. It may be the Chrome version, as I write and test for Chrome 7, 'cause 8 isn't ready for my platform yet it seems. I'm looking for a way to test it on Chrome 8. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, will keep you posted. —Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 18:00, 26 October 2010 (BST)
No problem. Just as an FYI, I just had to re-activate without shutting down Chrome in between. I used the phone, hopped around to a mall then back to my location, logged out. Logged back in to phone someone with some info and it was at the activate screen. Weirdness indeed.--The Tall Cool One 18:03, 29 October 2010 (BST)

Currently still deciding whether I should bother with fine grids or just bite the bullet and implement proper polygon geometry for maps and locations and movement, which may be a bit hairy but would neatly solve problems with ranged combat, lighting and visibility, and route plotting. Also deciding whether one should just "die" or "die from multiple gunshots to the chest and stomach and resulting exsanguination and hypoxia caused by pneumothorax, heart failure and brain damage". You know, for colour.

First off, the email I use is of course a diversionary account. Its always wise to have one. Thats RL advice, lady. The only favor you will get from me today.

So, you get a counter offer. And it will be my first, last, and only counter offer. Honestly, thats not usually how we roll. Especially for a bunch of brit talkin' PKers. But, whatever.

You guys get two choices. Either the killin' continues or the killing stops. You have seen our crew, read our wiki. You say you have a better idea about who we are. Great. Well we don't have friends who are enemies. And we don't have enemies who are friends. DSS S2, and DSS in general can be friends, or they can be enemies. TZH is going to roll with it either way. Because you have attempted to be reasonable now, I am willing to forget the insults and bullshittery on your end (recall your responses to my extremely reasonable first post on the DSS webpage) to what was my first (and usually my only) attempt at diplomacy.

If the killin stops, we would be willing to consider the DSS friends. Like all of our friends, you get healing, revives, and safe houses at any of our HQ's. You also get the option of true alliance, in which we make your enemies our enemies when they are within our territory, and upon Whalberg's approval outside of our territory. We would let members of TZH know to back off by radio, forum, in game chat, and email if necessary. Being friends me no killing. You don't kill TZH members, we don't kill DSS members or DSS S2 members.

On the other hand, you can continue whatever it is you're doing. You can spout all you want about the kill ratio, but considering we are 10 times your number, and haven't made any attempt to hide, it makes sense that you are getting more kills. Oh, and our members have a very few select buildings they are in. So they aren't hard to find. We also have an AP pool 10 times the size of yours with a fantastic revive network, which makes your kills against us minimal in impact (in game at least). Oh, and while we are earning a valuable reputation in Buttonville, you are getting labled as PKers, and Papa reports that several people have made you KOS. So thats fun.

If you are our friends, you get treated with respect, like we treat all of our friends. If you are our enemies, you get treated like the pieces of shit you must be, otherwise you wouldn't be enemies! And you can then tell it to my nuts.

So, uh... your choice I guess. Glad you liked the wiki. BALLS TO THE MOTHERFUCKING WHALLS! <- Thats as "lightened up" as I get --Dhavid Grohl 03:54, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

No Sophie. You didn't try. You and your snob ass brit buddies did anything but try when I was civil to you. Civil to you after YOU started this. Remember that pus guzzler. YOU started this. TZH don't owe you shit. We aren't going to play this game with you. You're a sideshow, a distraction. Two characters, out of the (literally) hundreds that we hunt. Our characters have reported your whereabouts to other members no less than 14 times. 14 times we have found you, and 14 times we have killed someone else instead of you. Have fun with your count, and your screenies. You're absolutely hilarious, and I can always use the laughs. While you're doing your little routine, feel free to tell it to my taint. You'll find it right next to my balls, BALLS TO THE WHALLS!!! And remember, have fun, its a game! --Dhavid Grohl 05:19, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Jesus H. This becomes a bigger and bigger waste of my time by the second. By the second I say! Sophie, I'm not angry. I haven't cared enough about this game to be angry since 2008. I didn't think anyone playing this game has cared enough since then. I am serious, it is a genuine shock to me that you still care. If you wonder why I curse, and yell, and whatever I will refer you to the Chapelle Show skit about "Samuel Jackson's Lager" in which a bystander asks Samuel Jackson why he is yelling. He responds "I'm not yelling, this is just how I talk!" (all the while yelling). Thats sort of what is happening here. You are making an ass out of yourself, and me by assuming that I am angry... when really, this is just how I talk. In this game at least. Now, take all of your meta garbage, and blow it directly out of your ass. ROCK AND ROHL! --Dhavid Grohl 05:51, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

DSS Phone -- I tip my hat

Hi Hashk,

So I had come up with this grand greasemonkey scrpt idea to make editing danger reports easier, which is neither here nor there. In trying to figure some stuff out with the script I took a look at the DSS phone script. I was immediately struck by how clean and easy to read it was. I was also thankful for your donating it to the public domain.

Therefore I tip my hat to you and your mad coding skills.

So sweet, thank you for the kind words. Glad you like, hope it helps, can't wait to try your script :) --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 08:06, 11 April 2011 (BST)

DSS Target Highlighter and FF4

I have re-installed it since FF4 has disabled UDWidget. However, I can't find the settings Zipo speaks about here. Neither on the game map, nor in the Greasemonkey script commands. Is there something in FF4 that prevents them from showing up, or what else could be going on there? --Oh, and vote on Project Funny, by the way. -- Spiderzed 17:55, 15 May 2011 (BST)

Ah, that'll be cos Zipo's talking about a different version of the script. Soph made a better one a bit later that was (and still is, kinda) in Beta. Aww, shiny! Me wanna :D The only other list commonly used by me I miss is Cobra's public bounty hunter list. --Oh, and vote on Project Funny, by the way. -- Spiderzed 19:46, 15 May 2011 (BST)
Hey :)
Yup, as Kemps said, there are two scripts, which I intended to merge into one but I just haven't found the time. The one you know fetches the RG and stuff and paints bounties in red and zergs in green. The other [5] lets you manually keep an UDTool-like list, and highlights people from that. It's work in progress, undocumented, not all buttons work, may break... but I believe it handles well DJ Talent's massive hitlist, fwiw. Further, K runs both scripts, for an effect similar to UDTool - personal list plus automatic RG highlighting. I think the order of the scripts matters, or some such trickery, right K? I'm not sure myself because I run neither, I use yet another unpublished Chrome extension >_<
I shall finish all this, and I'll let you know. But for the time being, you may want to try this.
Btw Spider, I need to talk to you. You still watch the SWA forum? I'll PM you there in a bit. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 20:10, 15 May 2011 (BST)
Thanks for the link! When I have some time to fiddle, I will grab it and see how I can abuse it to do my bidding :D
As for SWA, the forums are as dead as the group - we could never gather the numbers to make an impact pre-March, and now in the post-March days, our presence in the SW would matter even less. If you need to catch me privately, use the RG forums, Resens or the forums of either FU, Cobra or 404. --Oh, and vote on Project Funny, by the way. -- Spiderzed 20:24, 15 May 2011 (BST)
Yeah, the order you place the scripts affects how they play with one another. The original one, S2 highlighter, which you were originally using SZ, should go first, then, the new one linked by Soph above. Makes them both work similar to UDTool, widget et al. Except, tons better. Cos she's dead clever like that. For the most part. Cool.gif ~ Kempy “YaketyYak” | ◆◆◆ | CAPD | 20:41, 15 May 2011 (BST)
^^ that. Except the clever thing, I'm actually dumb as a brick. It's why Popham is blonde.
I used the OBR forum, Spider. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 21:02, 15 May 2011 (BST)
I have registered on the DSS forums to reduce hassle for you in this conversation. --Oh, and vote on Project Funny, by the way. -- Spiderzed 21:14, 15 May 2011 (BST)
Lol.gif ...'for the most part'. ~ Kempy “YaketyYak” | ◆◆◆ | CAPD | 21:30, 15 May 2011 (BST)
Have checked it out, and it looks good :) I have only one frivolous request: Could you please add the Bounty Hunter List to auto-updateable lists? It is formatted for UDWidget (just like the other four existing ones) and so should be easy to do. --Oh, and vote on Project Funny, by the way. -- Spiderzed 21:06, 17 May 2011 (BST)
It's done, you are now in charge of highlighting bounty hunters, city-wide. You'll have to wait for the next auto-update, which will happen some time in the next 12 hours (or, if you absolutely have to see it *now*, then uninstall the S2 highlighter script with its associated preferences, and install it again).
Now piss off from Huntley Heights! :D --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 00:22, 18 May 2011 (BST)

Ol' Buddy Of Mine

Don't know if you remember me, but I'm pretty sure I got you to join of noob group I set up. Hold up in between Santlerville and Pashenton at the moment, not the best time to come back aye? --Robert Egleton 01:03, 24 May 2011 (BST)

Yo. I remember. You could have picked a better time yeah heh. Still, it's the first time in years survivor play is actually interesting... well to me at least. So much I actually care about zombies these days. So hey, that's a plus I guess :) --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 02:38, 24 May 2011 (BST)
Dead, again. Maybe reverting to river tactics would be good or just find some ghost town to chill in. --Robert Egleton 21:48, 24 May 2011 (BST)

I can't reload the sat phone script from Aug. 2010!

Everything is in my computer, but the sat phone button disappeared after I had to reload Firefox. I receive calls and the phone book is intact, but I can't initiate calls. I have Greasemonkey reinstalled, but I'm too computer illiterate to manage without an automatic sat phone download link.

Sorry to bother you! Thanks for your help and time.boocat 02:43, 9 June 2011 (BST)

Justice! <3

Oh thank god you killed Sally A Summers, I'm so happy my killer got what was coming to them. :3

Do you have the satellite phone script? I didn't see if you had a number when I looked at your profile. ~Vas

*Don't know how to use wiki, never have...* Vas 03:39, 14 August 2011 (BST)
It should be obvious she has a number. Or two. Or three. She's the creator of that wonderful SatPhone! ;D --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 01:58, 14 August 2011 (BST)
Ah yes I know but still. Is sorta my way of asking for the number. xD Sorry I am not experienced with Wiki enough to make proper comments. ~Vas Vas 03:39, 14 August 2011 (BST)
Sign with 4 tildes (~~~~) and indent with colons. The info should already be on a link on your talk page. And I'm sure Sophie will be happy to give you her number. Of course that's just an assumption, but the chances are pretty high. The best way to get in contact with her would probably be through CAPD's forums. I haven't really seen Sophie active around the wiki that much these days. Ask on the forums for a Susan Popham. That's Sophie's alias. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 02:15, 14 August 2011 (BST)
Ah ok. I don't join forums or anything, kinda gets annoying being registered at 50 places. I shall go take a look at my user page and see what all I can do with it. Could use someone to go through and suggest edits sometime when I finish fiddling with it though. Vas 03:39, 14 August 2011 (BST)
You can also contact her through email, if you have an email address set under your account. Just view Sophie's userpage, and in the sidebar that you see on the left of the screen, underneath the Urban Dead logo, there should be an option that says, "E-mail this user". --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 03:52, 14 August 2011 (BST)
Yees I'm lurking about :")
Cheers Axe :) Actually, edits to this talk page cause an email notification to be sent to me, so no need to email me (but feel free of course). It does happen that I'm too busy to look in the UD folder, though... so if I don't reply, that's the problem. And emailing me through the wiki won't make much of a difference, I'm afraid - when that happens I'm not even logging in to play.
... which is sad. But work is hard these days... weeks, months :S But a girl has to make a living -_-
Anyhoo. Yup, I have the satellite phone script, what are the odds huh. Semi-decent piece of kit, actually. Should be built into the game already if you ask me :D
And yes I've killed her (hi Salls :P). But not recently... am I really losing my mind so much I don't remember? :S
Um... What was the question again? --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 08:03, 14 August 2011 (BST)
It's nice to see you lurking in the shadows, Sophie. Vas here is interested in acquiring you SatPhone number. ;) --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 16:57, 14 August 2011 (BST)
I checked it. Last time you were involved in bountying me was in May. So, that's kinda a, uhm, slow reaction. -- Spiderzed 06:38, 15 August 2011 (BST)

Well actually I had an idea about a new script and wanted to discuss it's possibilities before even hinting at what it was to the public.
I see no 'email this user' button by the way. I'm going to try to make the Sat Phone compatible with some of the UD inventory compressors too. May require editing both scripts a little. If I have to edit the Sat Phone, I'll send you the edits so you can update it.
I'm not a scripter, but I do know someone who is good at it, he edited a script I have and made it display my time in a 12 hour clock rather than 24 hour clock and fixed the layout of the script to stop pushing things off the page. All I could really do myself is make 2 things = null so that they'd stop showing up on the page. xD
If you see an email this user button on my page, please use it. :P Vas 23:39, 16 August 2011 (BST)
The email link is on the left sidebar. Go to any user page (or user talk page, like this one), and search for "E-mail this user" if you can't find it.
... saying that, I'd rather not resort to e-mail myself without good reason. This because I'm a tad paranoid about my privacy - frightfully sorry, it's just stalkers are nasty creatures :( And if I click the email link myself it'll disclose my email addy, which is not a big secret but I'd still rather keep it quiet, no need for it to end up in google next to my name after some careless distribution.
If you do have a reason to have it, then no problem, send me the email and I'll reply to it. But if you just need to discuss stuff, it can be done perfectly well here.
The satphone is compatible with inventory organisers. If you've had problems with them, I'd suggest you read the troubleshooting section in the user guide. As for extending it, sure, the code is public domain so hack away. If you send me a patch I'll consider it for inclusion in my "official" version, but be advised, I'd probably reject any functionality not related to the phone itself. E.g. I wouldn't add inventory organising into the phone, that'd be featurism, which is the cancer that kills useful accessories like this -_-
If you're interested in modifying UDICOS or another organiser so that they work with the phone even if they run after it, then you'd only have to make sure the event handlers in the phone's button are preserved. See, organisers typically delete and recreate buttons, and in the process they lose the event handlers that the phone attaches to its button. The organiser should copy not only the ordinary (HTML) attributes, but also any event handlers attached to any element they destroy.
And this is why, when the phone runs after the organiser, the organiser has no chance to muck up things and it all just works :) --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 01:55, 17 August 2011 (BST)

Ah... yeah, nipped out and did some solo work last night, soz :")
Marty: hey, man, good to see here. Sorry about that. It's never been personal you know, it's, well, you have a hefty bounty [6]. And I'm sort of a bounty hunter. So... yeah.
Saying that, we're not here to make anyone's game-life miserable. We're opt-in PKers, like. As in, we kill people who've opted in to the PKing game by doing some PKing themselves. If you want out, you've got it, you're good with me now.
I'm afraid most BHers will still target you because the RG doesn't decrease your bounty just because you haven't killed recently. So I'd advise you to try and take in stride your next 44 deaths by BHer. I mean, try not to be upset about it, it's the way it works, ruddy hard to tell retired PKers from active PKers until the bounty is gone. But yeah, it won't be me. Cheers. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 20:01, 21 October 2011 (BST)

That picture. . . hubba hubba. So I am a little curious. Seeing as how Mozilla hates UD Tool, I'm running your version of the RG list, now if I were to add say the zerg list to this I would just need to include the list that is currently held at Resens and upload it...or did someone much wiser then me figure this out a while ago and I'm missing a link to said discussion. -- Emot-argh.gif 03:23, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
