Kempsterbank is a suburb of Malton, located in the southern area of the city.

The Knights Templar have been vested with the responsibility of the defense and revival of the living population in the area by the original settlers of the suburb, the Kempsterbank Neighbourhood Watch, since July 2006.

In August of 2007, Detulux Inc migrated to the suburb to fill their new warehouse complex with weapons for zombie defense.

In August 2008, an organized group of zombies, the St. Ferreol's Hospital Noise Abatement Society arose and have been ruining the nearby blocks and eating breathers ever since.

In December of 2008, Dr. Steel's Toy Soldiers commandeered a factory and warehouse in southwest Kempsterbank and can be heard sending out intermittent informative radio broadcasts.

In January of 2009, the Boardsies arrived and settled in a small motel in the northern section of the suburb, and can be often found having a drink, and sending out helpful PSAs.

Throughout 2010, Kempsterbank became the perfect location for low level players; the resident undead population in the North East meant there were always opportunities to gain zombie killing experience, and the regular strikes on survivor held TRPs meant that baby zombies were never more than a few blocks from the nearest feeding groan.

Through 2011 and into 2012 the same old conflict played out, but with fewer combatants on all sides. The Templars began focusing forces on St Ferreol's more and more, attempting to keep the building garrisoned on a regular basis. This increased focus meant that rather than the hospital being ruined for weeks at a time, it could now be found repaired for a similar amount of time. However, neither side has given up on the building, and as a result zombie break-ins happen almost daily, and the piles of bodies, dead, undead, and reviving never stop.

Whether zombie or survivor, Kempsterbank presents the perfect environment for new players to engage in the longest continuous siege in Malton's history learning the finer points of their opponents tactics along the way.

Counted 30+ zombies and quite a few ruined buildings in the area around St. F'S and Jillard (only scouted inside those two, so zombie count is on the low end of what's actually there). Not sure yet where they all came from. -- Jen ^{T | SFHNAS | PK} 10:44, 5 September 2014 (UTC)

On-the-ground report: Haha, yes, it's safe. High survivor concentration, and while there's a handful of zombies around, they don't have that much luck breaking into buildings, and tend to get headshot pretty often. -- Jen ^{T | SFHNAS | PK} 11:26, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
