Yagoton is a suburb of Malton, located in the north of the city. Yagoton contains the southern half of Bale Mall. Before the Outbreak, it had been a older and worn-down section of the city, with many factories, junkyards and warehouses. Crime was rampant. Petty theft, break-ins, and assault were common in this area. However, because of the attempts of a neighborhood gentrification, it became one of the hottest night-spots in Malton, with six clubs and three pubs. They also added two police stations, Moorhouse Place and Newbould Place, to stop crime in the suburb. It was one of the greatest success stories of Malton's city planning. After the outbreak, it is again the location of a success story because of the wandering night-creatures, or more so because of the dedicated Revivication efforts by one of the oldest established groups, the YRC. In the midst of this success is the fact that it is now considered one of the most dangerous suburbs in Malton, probably due to its mall, which has served as a human stronghold for many months until just recently, and the fact that it has inter-suburb fame due to its extremely successful revive point at St. Swithuns church.

Updated the status to moderate, because of the spontaneous arrival of numerous zombies, that has powered down most of yagoton. --Alevins 20:42, 24 April 2009 (BST)

April 21th

I updated the status to safe. A necronet scan from the Whatmore Building revealed that there are no more than two zombies in the entirety of the suburb, both of which were on Peterken Grove [42,15]. St. Swithuns remains lightly barricaded. --Alevins 05:46, 22 April 2009 (BST)

April 14th

NecroWatch reported in from the Whatmore Building. The scan revealed 18 zombies in the scanning range of the facility. Of those numbers, 5 zombies were at a cemetery in Brooke Hills, 3 zombies were at Club Nanning and 3 zombies at Spence Row Police Department, also in Brooke Hills. The remaining zombies were scattered across the area in numbers of 1 or 2. -- -Alka Selzer- [ Talk - Map - Stuff 07:05, 14 April 2009 (BST)

April 4th

NecroWatch reported in from the Style Building. The recent scan revealed that there were 21 zombies within scanning range. The only notable group were 7 zombies at Hinks Crescent Police Department. All other groups were in strength of 1 to 3. -- -Alka Selzer- [ Talk - Map - Stuff 20:09, 4 April 2009 (BST)

April 2nd

Much of Yagoton is lit and back into working order. Standing zombies are scattered throughout lower half of Yagoton, and a few EoE members have once again made the unlit Edgerton Cinema their home. The periodic barricading of St. Swithun's church has become an infrequent headache to the YRC, all while known PKers continue to humorously aggravate the residents, or "loiterers" of the Whatmore building. --Alevins 04:24, 3 April 2009 (BST)

Update: NecroWatch reported in from the Serrell and Whatmore Buildings. Recent scans had revealed that there were 45 zombies within scanning range, after accounting for scan overlaps, but not time differences between scans. Of these numbers, 7 zombies were at Catherine General Hospital, 5 zombies were at Tyson Auto Repair, 4 zombies were at St. Alexander's Church, and 3 zombies were at St. Godric's Church. Meanwhile over in Millen Hills there were 4 zombies standing at a factory. The remaining zombies, which numbered in the 1's and 2's, were scattered across the area. --Mobius The preceding undated comment was added at 06:26, April 3, 2009

Many of the Police departments have been EHB and are continually being rebuilt from within. This has lead to many radio towers losing power and many survivors falling to the PKers, Edge of Extinction. This has lead to a rapid increase in zombie; thus leading many to believe that EOE are a Death Cult. The DEM are unable to regain control of their facilities and survivor assistance is not common. If an organized attempt to regain control of this area, this area may become a breeding ground for zombies, although they would be wanting revives that no one can give. ~~Tiberius Matye The preceding undated comment was added by Tiberius Matye at 01:14, March 25, 2009

There are too many zombies being killed on the street for there to be that much danger, surely they wouldn't waste that much ammo if they had anything better to do? (I'm keeping a list, and checking it twice: 3 trenchies to 1 defender.)--Ryvyoli Y R 04:21, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

March 15th

Big break-in at whatmore at time of death (5 minutes ago) there were 18 standing zombies 22 standing humans. --Jakezing 02:52, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

As of about a minute ago the Standing count is 32 to 9, in favour of the zombies.--Jakezing 05:22, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

March 12th

NecroWatch reported in from the Serrell Building. A recent scan had revealed that there were 14 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 3 zombies were at St. Swithun's Church, while over in Millen Hills there were 4 zombies at a cemetery, and 4 zombies at the Allder Row revive point in Shearbank. The remaining detected zombies were each on their own. --Mobius 12:22, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

Groups

  • The Abandoned - The Abandoned is the main survivor group dedicated to keeping the Revive Clinic and the whole of Yagoton safe, having been in operation since October of 2005. They also maintain (and often create) the barricade plans, as well as aiding any other local survivor groups in need.
  • Amish Liberation Front - ALF has returned to Bale mall in order to kill members of the BME and their allies who they personally see as little more than PKers.
  • The BattleRagers- A survivor group that is operating out of the Rounsefell library in southern Yagoton. They are currently working towards riding yagoton of the Zombie menace.
  • Cannibal Corps - The Cannibal Corps has been patrolling the Yagoton area searching out and destroying Zerging and Pking groups. They have been known to pass out aid and revives to survivors in need.
  • Channel 4 News Team - We, at the Channel 4 News Team, are all about having fun. You know, get a couple cocktails in us, start a fire in someone's kitchen, then go out and kill a bunch of zombies in one big bilingual blood fest.
  • Counter Terrorist Unit - Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) Is a small survivor group dedicated to cleansing Yagotown of terrorist (PKers and Death Cultist) and other scum. We also protect the mall, PDs, FDs, NT and other buildings from zombie invasion.

  • The Disciples of Zeko- The Disciples of Zeko are a PKing group led by the man responsible for the Valentine's Day Massacre. They, or their followers, are currently promoting the Whatmore Building as a holy murder shrine dedicated to Redzeko, presumably because the building is the location of his ascension. They kill people daily in the Whatmore Building in the glory of his name and seem to be encouraging others to do likewise.

  • The Great Taboo - Is One Of The Most Forbidden Groups Living In Malton Secretly Being Run By Pkers For Years And Years With The Blood Cults Going On It Has Proven That They Should Not Be Messed With Not Even The Abandoned Should Touch Them
  • Malton Rangers - The Malton Rangers have dispatched a team to the Yagoton area to provide assistance to other groups in cleaning out the suburb and reactivating regular clinic service. The Rangers consider themselves uninvolved in local politics and will aid, assist and protect any native groups or individuals that want a better Malton.
  • Malton Response Team G - The Malton Response Team G is a pro-survivor group that has formed in December of 2007. The group is dedicated to the safety of Yagoton, and assisting other pro-survivor groups in eliminating the zombie threat, as well as assisting in dealing with any other threats to the safety and resources of the survivors.
  • McZed's™ New store opened at Club McClean (18,47) Where anyone can sit comfortably and enjoy some hot and tasty rotter flesh!

  • /b/ - The /b/ zombie group is relatively new to the Yagoton area, and has been assisting Death's Embrace in the recent attacks on Whatmore and survivors in general. Lately their attacks have stemmed down.
  • Death's Embrace - The Death's Embrace zombie group originated from Brooke Hills, intending to take over Yagoton in the same way they did their homeland. While they held the suburb for a few weeks, they have been thought to have left the area due to the successful survivor retaliations.

After discussion, we at the Abandoned have created an updated barricade plan for Yagoton. From now on all churches (other than Swithun's of course) and all pubs are to be at VSB++ to serve as entry points and safehouses for newer players. We would appreciate if you adjust barricades to the correct level if a building is over or under barricaded. Thank you. --Rohndogg1 23:28, 29 May 2008 (BST)
