New Here? Read Me First
First of all, welcome to the BAR!
Second, and this is important, if you really want to contact the BAR and expect a response in a reasonable amount of time we recommend that you post on the BAR's group forum instead. Why? Because only Caleb Usher (aka Mobius187) hangs around here often enough to spot posts and he's not even with the BAR! So we strongly encourage you to drop by the forum. As we allow Guest access you don't even need to sign-up. How cool is that? Very.
If you must post here be advised that all BAR patrons are asked to post their comments in the section best suited to their topic. Any topic that you have no idea where it should be placed should end up under "Generic Topics". The BAR holds the right to later move that topic anywhere it pleases, including deleting it, especially if it's old and no longer relevant. Important old topics may later be archived, but for now they don't. Always post the newest topics at the top of each section.

YOU ARE NOT PREPARED
Hello BAR members, I would like to announce that your group is first on my list of people who stand in my way of eradicating the life out of this town, I'll be seeing you, but you won't see me...until it's too late. User:Pathetic Bill X January 8, 2010
- Seriously? Leave us alone. User:Justin91 Feb 22
- "...I'll be seeing you, but you won't see me..."? The only concern I have is that Pathetic Bill X is hinting he's invisible, which would indicate he is the Invisible Man! The worrying part here is due to the fact that the invisible man himself was invisible, but his clothing wasn't. Hence the necessity for him to shed his clothes in order to become truly become invisible... which implies that Pathetic Bill X is in fact running around naked. And that, sir, is simply uncalled for! --Mobius 16:00, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
Dude you're right i've been back a few days now... and I haven't seen your sorry ass. I thought you were going to hit us where we live? Afraid cause the leader is back in town? Leo Leonardo III 02:19, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

Finch Monument revive point in Santlerville
Recently I've heard that the Finch Monument revive point is not in use anymore. So, are you guys still maintaining it? And, are you still operating in Santlerville at all? I think I only see the Dribbling Beavers members there. -- Kittithaj 15:56, 3 July 2009 (BST)
J.R. "Bob" Dobbs
Hello. I noticed that your "Wise Survivor" advertisement had a picture of my messiah on it. I just wanted to say that that's pretty cool. Thanks. He's a great guy. Maybe we can drink together sometime. My cronies and I operate the Brookes Arms, near where the Mall Tour currently is. My main reason for posting here was commendation. I'm a big fan.--Bishop Vagancia I 22:50, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- Hello J.R., if you really want a conversation with the BAR I highly recommend dropping by their forum. There are mostly just tumbleweeds drifting through their Talk wikipage. And me. I'm sure the BAR would be more than happy to chat and have a couple of rounds with you, so drop on by the forum so they can get to know you better. :) --Mobius 23:48, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- Sure. I'll try. But for future reference, J.R. is the man depicted in the afore mentioned image. Thanks for the speedy response!--Bishop Vagancia I 23:59, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- Ah! All I ever remember is the "Church of the SubGenius". :P --Mobius 01:13, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- Well, some people remember cults, others just remember the leaders. I won't hold it against ya.--Bishop Vagancia I 04:07, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- I just checked out your page. So you were the one using the image. He's a handsome guy, isn't he? Don't worry, I added the appropriate copyright information (as Mr. Dobbs' face and image is copyrighted by his own company and the Church). You're quite busy on the Wiki. It looks like you built an eighth of it yourself. I'm impressed. Well, like I said, thanks for letting me know where the Regulars can be reached. Talk to you later.--Bishop Vagancia I 04:26, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- Ha-ha. I was wondering if I should have mentioned I was using the same glorious face. While I would like to take credit for everything on the UD Wiki, I will limit my fame to all the NT buildings, Malton Rail, NecroWatch, Rhodenbank, Dulston, Rolt Heights, Pescdoside, and some of Dunningwood (as I best recall). There were a few other spots, here and there, but those are the major attractions outside of group wikipages. I hope you get in touch with the BAR. :) --Mobius 14:50, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
- I will contact them very soon. Plus, I'm signed up for Biertag, another of your great ideas. Quick question: Are you "of the faith" or just a humble admirer? If you are the former, I created template for you. I expected to be the only one to use it, because SubGenii are rather rare (31,800 worldwide by May 30, 2005 and about 40,000 today).
- While I can appreciate that the BAR do not really use their Talk wikipage that often, I think it would be better to move this conversation elsewhere. Unless you want to talk about the BAR. Then I think it's fine. Ah yes, Biertag. That is on-topic oddly enough, strange how I missed it. I wanted to do something to advance the cause of beer in Malton. I'm expecting I shall need to turn-up advertising efforts if I'm to get the same crowd as back in 2007. Of course back then I was a diplomat for various groups, so I had the contacts. To answer your second question, I must regretfully admit I am not one of the faithful, but I do respect the Church of the Subgenius. It was always something I was "aware" of, through chance encounters, but never explored. --Mobius 12:47, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- I had a feeling this was being off-topic and cluttered, but at least it's being used. You can move it where ever you feel that it is relevent. I won't do any prosyletizing without a request. As for Biertag, I think it's a great idea. I think I may take my entire small gang on the main pilgrimage this year. I can't wait. And it's so close to X-Day. If the world doesn't end this year either, it'll be perfect (although the world's continued existence will be a dissapointment, all that partying in a week is bound to feel great).--Bishop Vagancia I 17:24, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- If you and your group are interested in dropping by for Biertag, I always encourage signing the Beer Pledge. :) --Mobius 12:25, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
- I'm gonna talk to my members and see what they think. Two of them are dead, so communication might be difficult. Even more so now that our group frequency seems to have been poached with notification. But I'm really looked forward to July. You'll be there? I thought you had retired from in-game interaction. Did I read incorrectly?--Bishop Vagancia I 00:30, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- I sign the list for... sentimental reasons. But no, I will not actually be there in person. However I will be the one who creates the new historic wikipage for this year's event. I would encourage that should you, and/or your group members, participate please take screenshots (iWitness reports even) of the party events (i.e. conversations, ect). I find that screenshots really help people remember an event. --Mobius 21:24, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

The Great Suburb Group Massacre 2009
Hi there, folks. I know this may seem a rather strange request, but it's for all groups, regardless of size, to help keep the wiki up to date. --D.E.ATalk 18:39, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- No problem. I'm here signing in for every group I know is active... and while I'm not with them I am in contact with their members. So, I can confirm the BAR is active. --Mobius 19:53, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

The Great Radio Group Massacre
Hi there, folks. I know this may seem a rather strange request, but it's for all groups, regardless of size, to help keep the wiki up to date. Are you still active and using the frequency? --Jen 01:40, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- I'll respond with a "Yes". The BAR is 100% drunk. I mean active. Actively drunk. --Mobius 18:33, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

The Great Suburb Group Massacre
Currently the suburb in question is Rolt Heights but one response to this query will be all that is needed to protect your group link on all suburb pages. I know this is a may seem a stupid request but its for all groups regardless of size. Thank you. --Adavastor 02:45, 31 July 2008 (BST)
- They're still around and active (not a member, but I've worked with them). Not as many as there used to be though, which is a shame since they're a fun group. Feel free to drop by their forum to chat with them some time. :) --Mobius 12:50, 31 July 2008 (BST)
Decaders
Fireman Reggie- He helped the zeds decade Fort Creedy leading to many people getting munched by zeds. -Ottotorrens 21:14, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the tip. Fireman Reggie used to be a member of the BAR until he mysteriously disappeared and fell off the radar. The BAR considered this meant he was simply no longer playing UD with that character (at least), but now I see that he has gained a level (from 6 to 7) since he was moved to the retired members list. I will present this information to the BAR Managers, and should they find him guilty, they'll mark him as a "Traitor" instead of simply "Retired". Traitors are automatically added to the BAR's Deadbeast List and hunted. --Mobius187 00:22, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
- I second this, he is not part of the B.A.R any more, probably forgot to change his group alliance or something. --SamtheMan 15:33, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
Many Thanks!
Those Dudes thank you for the SUPER FAST revive serice at Otto Street for their most clueless member, SuzieLee. The BAR ROCKS!!!!--Ruby Tuesday 08:43, 20 May 2007 (BST)
- Thanks guys! Its appreciated, we couldnt claim all the credit for the point because most revives are performed by locals, not B.A.R members. Howver cos we have run the point through the good and bad times and kept it going for 2 years we can still claim some credit, thanks for noticing!

It is a measurement of your ability to deal with zombies and will be useful to those looking for a group. the ranking is based on the idea that AP is the measure of all things and effective strategy uses as few human AP to achieve a goal which takes many zombie AP to undo. PKed by Flushing
- This wouldn't have anything to do with you would it? --Ottotorrens 14:56, 8 October 2008 (BST)[1]
- While I'm not a BAR member I have worked with the BAR before. Flushing is sporting the group affiliation "Crime and Punishment", but I assume he was sporting a BAR affiliation before? It's not uncommon for PKers to use the BAR's name. Just keep in mind, most real BAR members stay in the northeast corner of Malton (Rolt Heights, Pescdoside, and Santlerville for the most part, or suburbs surrounding those, but less commonly those west of Santlerville... unless they're on a tour). If you want to verify a BAR member, please refer to their official member list here. --Mobius 17:40, 10 October 2008 (BST)
PKed by alleged BAR member
Greetings BAR. I was just recently killed by a person claiming to be a BAR member. Having recieved your hospitality at the Arms, I told myself "It can't be so". Of course, it wasn't. I checked the roster and Omar Suarez (id=604809) does not appear on it. Just thought I'd pass along the information. Of course, if I see him I will KOS and recommend you do the same. It's a shame when evildoers claim membership in a fine survivor group. Fight the Good Fight Rocky Ford 17:38, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
- Greetings Rocky Ford. As you can see in the post below you chose the proper course of action by coming here first. The BAR's "active member" list shows every real BAR member. So if they're not on the list, they're NOT enlisted/real members of the BAR. Here's a second tip though, always check the BAR's Deadbeat List too. A quick check there shows Omar is gracing it as a serial PKer wanted by the BAR. Although in this case no one from the BAR or Knight Watchmen has claimed to have executed him... yet. This is just another classic case of a PKer hiding behind another group's good name. It's shameful really when a PKer is reduced to using this tactic. If possible, I would ask that you spread the word (via local radio/suburb wikipage news) about the fake BAR member in order to reduce confusion. Thanks. --Mobius187 12:55, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
PKed by so-called BAR member, Stetsov
Hello, nice Wiki page you have here. Unfortunately I'm here for business and not pleasure - yesterday I was PKed by one of your members, Stetsov (http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=663200). The attack was unprovoked and there is no prior history between us. Stetsov did however vaguely mention that "someone" doesn't like me before he spent his AP on PKing. I'd be interested to hear whose word your group members take orders from? If Stetsov was acting on his own initiative I'd appreciate you having a word with your member. Thanks,

- Greetings Jensonson, you were indeed wise to come here first looking for answers, as I have answers to provide. Let me begin by stating that this fellow, Stetsov, is NOT a member of the BAR. This can be confirmed by checking the active BAR roster located here. Furthermore, the BAR is aware of Stetsov as he is a wanted PKer, or a "deadbeat". His profile can be found on the BAR's personal group black list found here. As you can see, he was caught for his crimes and executed at Tanner Auto Repair (Pescodside) on August 23rd, 2007. If you are a veteran survivor you are probably aware that many veteran PKers often take the group affiliations of popular pro-survivor groups to mislead and confuse their targets. That is the case here. Should you locate Stetsov again the BAR recommends killing him on sight. Good hunting. --Mobius187 November 4 2007, 4:45 PM (EST)
- Thanks for the swift reply Mobius, and that certainly clears things up! Most PKers are simply after attention and the best way they can think of doing this is to try and frustrate other people into reacting. Glad to see you have such a calm and objective view of this PKer and thanks again for the response. Jensonson About Me The Fortress Talk BOOM TFN TV Promo Join 13:15, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- I'm just glad to see that this matter has been resolved peacefully. Every group should be so lucky as to have someone like you who thinks first. Contacting a group to clarify these matters helps resolve potential conflicts before they even have a chance to begin. If possible, please spread the word in your suburb that Stetsov is not a member of the BAR so as to reduce the likelihood of further confusion of this nature. Thanks. --Mobius187 November 5 2007, 8:58 AM (EST)
Leighton Kru - Coming at you, gonna cut you!
Hello BAR! I represent the Leighton Kru! Just to let you know, we have expanded out from our Rhodenbank home, and seeing as we may well be in the area soon, I just thought I'd say hi! -Gregg Bayes
- I recommend posting this comment on their group forum. They allow Guest access so you don't even need to sign-up. I'm one of the few people who monitor this section and I'm not even with the BAR. The forum also makes for much more interactive taunt trading. ;) --Mobius187 August 3 2007, 8:21 AM (EST)
Sgt Beebus Junior
Do you have an evidence that suggest Sgt Beebus Junior is a serial killer, even though Rogues Gallery does not have a bounty on his head? As I remember his attacks were on a few Friends of the Featherstone Library members, who are pkers in RG.--Sgt Beebus (Merc for hire) 18:54, 30 July 2007 (BST)
- Hello Sgt Beebus, I'm not with the BAR, but maybe I can help. First of all, please post in the BAR's forum. I'm about the only one who comes here, so if you want a fast reply I suggest trying the forum. You can even guest-post. That said, here's a short list of facts (I don't make these things up):
- The BAR doesn't use the RG. Actually they're sort of anti-RG. The RG links were provided by me for the sake of those BAR members who want to hunt PKers, but do not want to be reported on the RG. Most BAR members that do PKK though don't seem to care about this. It's the proverbial "leading a horse to water..." I suppose. ;)
- The Friends of the Featherstone Library are also anti-RG and many of them have ended up with bounties on them for killing PKers who didn't have bounties in the RG, or for killing the bounty hunters who blindly followed the RG by hunting them down.
- Shotgun Ed reported Sgt Beebus Junior, as I recalled asking for your alt's profile (for Biertag '07, feel free to check it out).
- The BAR and FotFL have signed an Alliance Treaty, which is summarized as "your enemy is my enemy". Ed reported Sgt Beebus Junior to them and Sgt Beebus Junior ended up on their list.
- That said, if you would prefer "Anti-Ally" to "Serial Murder" I could easily arrange that. But I think that's not exactly what you had in mind... so your best bet is to contact the BAR directly on their forum. --Mobius187 July 30 2007, 3:00 PM (EST)
Karloth Vois #2
Hey, just to let you know the second Karloth Vois you have on your PKer list is my brainrotted zombie- he won't be shooting anyone, especially when my PKer is in the area. --Karloth Vois RR 14:08, 14 April 2007 (BST)
PKer Warnings: Adrian Jeshua & Joshua Reveka
Hi, guys. Just a message from the 4-H. We've had problems with a couple of serial PKers over here in Huntley, by the names of Adrian Jeshua (http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=390711) and Joshua Reveka (http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=388941). We have reason to believe that one or both of these operate out of Santlerville, and are often revived there. Please, judge these two accordingly if you should find them, particularly in a revive queue. Thanks, --Mark Williams, Head of Revivals, The 4-H.
- Hello, I am Adrian Jeshua the above mentioned "serial PKer." My partner Joshua Reveka and I are indeed guilty of killing survivors. And yes, we do have a record. However, as Mark Williams so tactfully forgot to mention is we only target members of his group (The 4-H) and those who do us wrong by direct means (their friends who have PKed us). We have a long standing conflict with The 4-H, and they are indeed guilty of as many crimes as we are (and in the case of one shameful member, worse). The only difference is they are a larger group who can point more fingers.
- What you ladies and gentlemen do is your own business. And if you care to pass up reviving one of us, that is your choice and we will respect it. But we want no conflict with anyone besides The 4-H. So I'd ask you to please refrain from attacking us (in zombie or survivor form), as we have never killed or injured anyone from your group or any other that has not done us harm.
- Thank you. --Adrian Jeshua 21:24, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- It's my semi-official policy that the B.A.R. take no sides in survivor conflicts when the matter does not directly involve a member of our group; since I have neither the time nor inclination to research all the potential "He's a PKer! / No, I'm not!" arguments that could arise. That being said - I find no reason for any member of our group to withhold aid or target either of you for crimes not committed against the Burchell Arms Regulars, directly. Individual members of the BAR are free to make their own judgement calls, of course - but as a group, I see no reason to single you out unless you PK, grief and/or otherwise disrupt our organization. Thanks. --Jim Phil 03:24, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- We appreciate your sense of fairness, Jim. Thank you. --Adrian Jeshua 16:58, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- As the moderator of our Wiki, I'm afraid that the only people who are posted on our PK'er (etc) list are people who are discussed on the forums and reported for crimes against the Regulars. Basically I take the same stance as Jim on this issue. We are not the Malton Police. --SamtheMan 15:55 26 Januart 2007 (GMT)

About killing your Bar manager, Let me explain, His safehouse was breached, and i found him with less than 10 hp, having no FAK's to heal him, rather than lose him to the zeds, i shot him. i don't know why its not there, but i did tell him why i was killing him. It wasn't because i hated you guys, it was merely because to disallow the zombie the xp for killing him.
If this isn't sufficient, you may execute me again and again for pk-ing. but leave my men alone, they aren't pk-ers. i'm really really sorry for any inconvinience this caused you guys. I hope this doesn't severe our alliance. If further reparations are needed, just let me know. -Bassist55 09:33, 3 May 2007 (BST)

Alliance Requests
Big Damn Heroes
We are located in a factory at 82,19 in lovely Rolt Heights, only 8 blocks to the west of your grand establishment. I am inquriing about the possibility of forming a mutual alliance between our groups as it seems a logical pair as we could provide mutual support in time of need. We recently declared Legends of Darkness members KOS as we needed some fun. Other than that we look to keep Rolt Heights free of Zombie hordes and keep peace in the area and help those in need out as we can in the surrounding neighborhoods. We await your reply. --marrion barry 20:53, 4 March 2010 (CST)
- Hey, I'm not BAR, so I really can't help you, but they don't actually check this page very much. It would probably be best to discuss it with them on their group forum.--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 07:39, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- I concur with Yonnua. The BAR does not come here as often as they did. Their group forum is the best place to contact them. --Mobius 13:25, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

DvB/DA
Hello, I am Cheeser from Dead vs Blue and the Dulston Alliance. We have heard that you are working hard to push back the PK attack in Rolt Heights and are willing to help. I am a healer and reviver, not a killer, and would be happy to assist with your health needs and PKer locating.
- Where is the best place to start at, Burchell Arms or someplace else?
- Do you have a list of members to revive/heal, or just the general public, minus pkers?
- What is the best way to communicate with you?
-- Cheeser, DvB|DA 17:21, 17 April 2007 (BST)
- Cheeser, our revive point is Otto St in Pescodside, on the Rolt Heights line. Visit our message board, link someplace on our WIKI here. (Its just been redone so Im not sure where it is myself). Thanx for your help.
- Heh, the forum link is where it always was, in the last section of the group profile (top of the Home wikipage, right side template box). --Mobius187 April 20 2007, 8:16 AM (EST)
The Knight Arms, Santlerville
Hello, Burchell Arms Regulars, this is the St. Matthew's Hospital Administrator on behalf of the Dribbling Beavers asking about The Knight Arms: your first satellite pub over in Santlerville.
It's fantastic to have you in Santlerville, and the wiki page for The Knight Arms says that you have taken over looking after/maintaining this pub, but that was back in January and there hasn't been anything since.
Are you still looking after this pub? It would be great if you did because that would mean a welcome break and an excuse for a regular piss-up for everyone in the suburb. Please let me know what you will be doing/intend on my Talk Page.
Thanks. Hospital Administrator--Sunil 23:38, 7 April 2007 (BST)
PS: It's odd how my actual local is a lot like a post-zombie invaded Malton one, I wouldn't go in unless I was in a group of five or more and even then, there may be zombies to contend with (using snooker cues) inside and sleeping overnight is a really bad idea.
- While I am not with the BAR, as I feel compelled to often state, I do feel that I can field and answer to your question. Simply put, yes, the BAR is still maintaining the Knight Arms. If you visit the group's public forum and check the "Last Call" section there is a pinned thread just for this location where pages of status reports have been posted. Currently Rolt Heights is in the middle of a war with the PKA, and as such, the Knight Arms is a dangerous location as PKers looking for BAR members have been spotted at this location. While it's believed that non-affiliated survivors would not be targeted by the PKA while staying at the Knight Arms, I suggest a "better safe than sorry" policy which has always served me well. --Mobius187 April 20 2007, 8:48 AM (EST)
RAMPAGE
Hi.
The Beatbox Kids have decided to hold a Santlerville/Huntley Heights-wide Rampage. We regularly have our own BBK Rampages in which our whole group goes out at the same pre-determined time to the same general area and kill every zombie in sight. So we'd like to expand this concept and invite all the groups from Santlerville and Huntley Heights and any lone characters to participate in a Rampage on Sunday the 8th of April at 8pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (which is GMT +10 for those outside Australia). Check to see what time that is your time zone so you can go Rampaging with the BBK. We'll aim to eradicate the zombie threat that has Huntleigh Heights coloured red on the danger level map. In doing this Rampage we also hope to strengthen ties with Santlerville/Huntley Heights groups such as yours. As Santlerville doesn't have enough of a zombie presence to support every group Rampaging at once, we will not be Rampaging in our home suburb of Santlerville - this will change should the danger level of Santlerville ever rise above yellow.
So spend the next 5 days stocking up on ammo, reving your group members, and finding appropriate safe houses for after the Rampage. Let the BBK know via email, wiki, or in game whether or not your group will be participating. Also, we'd like to get a head count of rampagers and a zombie body count so we can see how successfully the Rampage went after it's over. Together, we can make this small, localised, weekly shooting trip a huge, wide spread kill-fest. Who knows? One day this could become a Malton-wide event...
Good luck. --Nick (Nallan) from the BBK.- roughly 6.30pm (AEST) 3rd April, 2007
Update: Oh and we have a new forum. Well, it's not really new coz we never had one before but anyway its here.

Hi. I am Luigi, from the Malton Anarchist Federation, made up of autonomous collectives and founded last summer. One of our collectives has recently re-grouped in Downdey Mall, and I figured this would be a good opportunity to look for new alliances. Your group seems swell. Maybe we can be allies? Who knows, maybe even a keg party could come out of this? Hope to hear from you soon. --Luigi Galleani M(A)C | M(A)F 22:37, 3 April 2007 (BST)
- Ummm, any interest? I should also say that I've always been a fan of Rolt Heights, and that when I used to fly solo more often, I used to go there to help with survivor defense. --Luigi Galleani M(A)C | M(A)F 18:07, 19 April 2007 (BST)
- Greetings Luigi, I am not with the BAR, but I do know a few things about them. For one, if you really want to get their attention you will need to visit their forum here. You can post anonymously (as a Guest) or create a user profile (it's quick, easy, and best if you plan serious long-term ties with the BAR). Then post your thread under the "Tonight's Specials" section. Something like... New Alliance - Malton Anarchist Federation, as that should grab their attention. Please be advised there are PKers in the forum at this time, as Rolt Heights is currently in the middle of a war with The PKer Alliance, so keep that in mind. Official members of the BAR (in good standing) are either BAR Employees or Managers. A Manager is who you will want to speak with about alliances... I suggest SamTheMan or tommymonahan. Jim Phil, the owner of the BAR, will be away on vacation as of today. Still, feel free to PM him. I think you will find that the BAR are a fun-loving bunch that are always interested in a good time and very protective of Rolt Heights. Good luck with your diplomatic relations. --Mobius187 April 19 2007, 2:36 PM (EST)

Making pages
If you want to make a group related page like your member list or your guide, it wuold be awesome if you use subpages of your group page instead of the main namespace (i.e. The Burchell Arms Regulars/BAR Members List instead of BAR Members List). I moved the two pages you had already made: in the future please try to follow my advice. Thanks in advance! --Matthew Fahrenheit YRC☺T☺+1 22:14, 9 September 2006 (BST)

Blacklist Report Links
In your Blacklist, a number of the links given under the reports column do not link to actual Rogues Gallery pages (example: bodydoc). This is misleading, because with the RG down, there is no way for users to tell that the pkers aren't on the RG. Would you mind taking down the bad links? Here is a list of the pkers on the RG list (i.e., names with valid RG links) that you can use to check which links are valid. Thanks. - Raharu 10.May.2007
- I agree, with the Rogues Gallery down it does make the links unfortunately useless at this time. I originally created the links with a single purpose, to provide BAR members who wanted to partake in the Rolt Heights War proper information on which PKers had outstanding bounties, or none at all. Keep in mind that everyone added to the list was identified as a PKer by the BAR and as far as some members of the BAR were concerned they were willing to execute any accused PKers regardless of whether or not they were listed on the RG. As you are aware this has lead to incidents where known PKer leaders *cough*blurredbrain2*cough* have reported BAR members as PKers. The BAR recognizes the fact that executing a PKer with no outstanding bounties will land them on the RG's list, but from what I have heard they consider this a failing of the RG in that it protects PKers who are simply smart enough to use it against non-PKers who execute them. For example, blurredbrain2 could have been reviving PKers. That's not a crime, but the action is itself very criminal since it undermines survivor efforts. Yet he could never be punished for that crime as there is next to no way to prove. Even I do not know for sure that he was doing this. All we can say is blurredbrain2 is a co-leader of the Angels of Mercy, the AoM are a known PKer group, blurredbrain2 stayed within 1 suburb of Rolt Heights during the PKer war in a city with 100 suburbs. And if he is not in any way involved with PKing why or how does he help lead a PKer group? That's a lot of coincidences and the BAR was not willing to accept that.
- So, the bottom line as I see it at least, is that we all appreciate your efforts (and that of the RG) to identify known PKers, and I feel that the list you have provided will help while the RG database is down, but at the same time the BAR will continue to hunt anyone who PKs in their area and not feel obligated to report the murder or the execution. The BAR also does not recognize the right of any bounty hunter who might claim an RG bounty as a lawful reason for executing a member of the BAR. Such bounty hunters might very well find themselves branded a PKer by the BAR and hunted down. While I know you do not hold sway over who bounty hunters choose to hunt, I would ask that you at least remind lawful-minded bounty hunters to at least reconsider trying to execute BAR members unless they have proof which they first wish to present to the BAR of a rogue member's activities. The BAR is not unreasonable, but they are also very protective of their members. Please keep this in mind. Thanks again for your advice and assistance. --Mobius187 May 10 2007, 7:27 PM (EST)
- I hear you, and we're not asking you to change how you operate, or to remove any names from your Blacklist. What we're actually asking for is much simpler - I'd just like someone to go through the RG links posted under the reports column, and remove the links that don't correspond to names on our Wanted list.
- In other news, while our rules mean we're stuck accepting reports from blurredbrain2 and other pkers not wanted on the RG, we're trying to ensure that everyone who does get reported for killing them gets listed as a low-priority bounty. - Raharu 11.May.2007
- Just to clarify, in case I have given you have the wrong impression, please note that I am not officially with the BAR. My status among them (Investor) was granted due to assistance I provided them mostly on the UD Wiki, but I have no direct group affiliation. So if you wish to verify any of the responses I provide with Jim Phil or any of the other BAR Managers feel free to do so. That said, I can certainly go through the PKer list of RG links and remove any of those that are linked to "blank" RG pages. My original reason for the link was two-fold, two provide a link to anyone who might become a potential PKer (at some later date based on the BAR's knowledge of their PKer activities) and to show which PKers have no RG bounty records at all, in case they are reluctant to cross the DEM/RG as with what happened with blurredbrain2.
- Once the RG database comes back online and the links are restored I will manually check each one and delete those that have none. Personally I'm not sure if the BAR even used these links as their association with the RG was limited at best. If for some reason the RG database cannot (ever) be restored let me know and I will delete the entire column.
- I am glad to hear that bounties placed on survivors who kill certain "suspicious" PKers (or non-PKers, as the case may be) are given low priority. I'm sure that the BAR appreciates that fact as I personally see it as a waste of time and resources to have bounty hunters punishing survivors whose sole interest was to also punish PKers.
- On a side note, I find the current system of "friendly bounty claiming", wherein an ally lowers another wanted ally's bounty by killing and then reviving them to be very wasteful. Has the RG/DEM considered the possibility of allowing a survivor with an outstanding bounty to punish themselves by committing suicide (i.e. jump out of window)? Or is that impossible to prove? I just hate to think of the waste in AP, possibly ammo or more AP (if an axe), and then the syringe. If suicide kills were allowed then only the wanted player's AP would be wasted and then the syringe required for the revive. --Mobius187 May 11 2007, 5:25 PM (EST)
- Actually, now, with the RG down, is when it would be most important for the links to be accurate - with the RG up it's easy for users to see which correspond to currently wanted pkers, but not now. We do have a full list of pkers that you (or someone) could check the names against. It's more of a pain than just clicking links to check, but your list isn't too long, so.... *shrugs*
- I'm also somewhat torn about friendly bounty claiming. If you're in a secure area where resources are abundant, it's no problem, but in general I tend to support the idea that allies should give each other's members the benefit of the doubt and just let live. Window jumping is provable, but it's a modus operandi for many griefers, so we don't really want to encourage it. There have been some proposals about working one's way off by e.g. reviving and healing non-pkers, but in that case the amount of accounting involved gets pretty intense. We're definitely open to suggestion, though, esp. if there's a chance it might bring the good people of the BAR around to using our system. ;) - Raharu 12.May.2007
- Due to your polite request, the nature of the RG (which you help manage), and perhaps the lack of BAR interest in the original purpose of the links, I have decided to take your advice. All of the profiles have been updated so that only PKers on your list (linked above) still have RG links, with N/A marking those without. An asterisk denotes any survivor whose status as a PKer is "questionable".
- I also heard about the "revives for bounties" idea and I like it. Something along the lines of 3 revives equals -1 bounty might work. That way it allows both PKers and mistaken PKers to work off their debts. Be sure to let us know if this method is ever employed. --Mobius187 May 12 2007, 8:25 PM (EST)
