Greentown is a suburb of Malton, located in the south of the city. Before the outbreak it was a fairly calm suburb. Many retired citizens made their homes here and in 1998 a group of volunteers built St. Holy's Church, named after Margaret Holy, a wealthy heiress who donated a significant portion of her fortune to local charities.

Greentown is noteworthy for having no NT buildings and only one hospital, which only two other suburbs,Dentonside and Reganbank, can claim. This seems to be because it was the most religious suburb in Malton, boasting no less than 6 churches. Citizens of Greentown were atypically devout, and therefore believed that God would protect them and shunned worldly cures.

During the outbreak, many of Greentown's citizenry decided to stay in Malton and do good works, but many more decided to form paramilitary groups and "cleanse the city of its unholy blight".

There is quite a lot of horde activity to the suburbs North and West of this suburb, they're moving out in an Eastern pattern from what I have observed when running from Lockettside, there are hordes recently active in Lockettside, South Blythville, North Blythville, they may continue their rampage across Greentown, be prepared for the worst if it should occur. --EveryTimeV 01:01, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

November 2^nd

Necrowatch has completed a scouting scan of this suburb from a central position in the Lerwill Towers. The results are visible here. The scan found 7 zombies in the suburb with all but one building within the scanning area repaired. Suburb status has been updated.
