NecroWatch reported in from the Owsley Building today. A recent scan had revealed that there were 8 zombies within scanning range of the facility. George Zip here, ex-military scout for DSS Red Zone Support. Charted a course from St. Elisabeth's in Pegton SSW to the Rothwell building in Penny Heights. I have seven FAK kits and plenty of firepower. Highlights of trip are as follows:
- Pegton
- St. Elisabeth's Hospital at EHB with survivors and power (but no radio). Had to leave through St. Martin's church. Eleven zeds in nearby cemetary, presumably waiting for revives. James O'Ferrel, NecroTech operative, also there.
- SW Pegton otherwise virtually free of zeds
- Holdenbank
- NW Holdenbank virtually free of zeds.
- Trent Bank at EHB.
- Pettyfer Towers at EHB with power. 3 zeds outside.
- St. Willibrord's Church HB, with power. Interesting graffito: "The time of the Demon Walrus is Nigh"
- Piney Building at EHB, with power.
- Hemmings Auto Repair at EHB, no power.
- Mace Towers SB, with power. Four bodies outside.
- St. Maurice's Hospital at EHB, with power
- Lower and central Houldenbank empty of zeds.
- Penny Heights
- One zed at St. Danillo's Church, then joined by another. Shot at them. Was attacked; left.
- Gradually incresing zed presence as I go south
- Rothwell Building: Doors open, no power. One zed outside; seven (and one survivor!) inside. I can't stay here with so many zeds.
- Tomkyns Building: Power; one survivor. QSB.

Moments ago, the last five structures left in town were ruined. Corpses litter the streets and buildings. All TRPs were taken down. MOB and the FU then decided to finish off all of the non-TRP structures. Even the junkyards were opened up and the occupants killed. It will take some time to clean up this mess. These zombies are massing on the western edge of the suburb, eying greener pastures.--FLZombie 04:31, 23 October 2008 (BST)
October 22nd
Local NT operations have become seriously hampered with the presence of zombies from the Militant Order of Barhah and the Feral Undead. All four NTs are ruined at this time, as well as the three hospitals, and the only Police Department. Those waiting at RPs will have to be patient, since even non TRP buildings are being targeted, and these still hold survivors capable of reviving zombies inside. --FLZombie 12:32, 22 October 2008 (BST)

Moderate amounts of zombie activity in houldenbank, mainly in the south. A few safehouses have fallen, but not many. The revive points a COMPLETELY clogged up, I tried to get one of my alt's revived and havebben waiting for a week now! The zobies in Greatotex are getting really annoyed... and I'm one of them! --Angusburger 17:42, 20 October 2008 (BST)
It's also aggravating to see zombies attack the rot revivers. I had just been revived, and was about to help revive some people, when a friendly zombie decided it was a great idea to kill me. Now I have to find a cemetery or revive point elsewhere.--Spacedooky 04:48, 21 October 2008 (BST)

I passed through the center of suburb, from the the Wrigley Building to Wharam Towers. Out of the twenty-five buildings I saw, only six were ruined, and most repaired buildings had heavy barricades. There's many scattered zombies in the city, but most are in groups of two or three. The largest group was 22 zombies outside the the Owsley Building (which had low cades, but was repaired). Assuming that the rest of the suburb looks somewhat the same -- mostly unruined, with no hordes anywhere near 150 -- I would think Houldenbank is at most "Dangerous." --Jen 03:34, 5 June 2008 (BST)

The Hosken Building and The Greatorex Building are operating as a rotter revive clinic for all zombies including those with brain rot. Both The Hosken Building and The Greatorex Building are powered and are well defended and maintained and since they are adjacent to one another, it is advised that the Greatorex building is kept unbarricaded to let the zeds with brain rot into the clinic where they can be revived. ----Tanaj----

Almost all of the resource buildings in the suburb are powered, and they all have their barricades raised. While there are a few scattered small groups, most of the zombies in the suburb have gathered outside the doors of the Owsley Building. --The Masked Lurker 03:56, 28 April 2008 (BST)

Currently inside the Tribe Building; it seems as though it and the Wellstead Building next door are getting some attention recently. Of note, there were 7 zombies at Richard General Hospital, 6 zombies at Wharam Towers, and 5 zombies at the Tribe Building. In other news, NecroWatch reported scans from the Greatorex, Hosken and Owsley Buildings today. The scans revealed that there are an estimated 50+ zombies within range of the NecroTech facilities. The largest concentrations of zombies appear to be at Solomon Lane PD, which has 15 zombies, and is a stark comparison to the Frappell Motel and Vallis Plaza Fire Station, which only have 4 zombies at each. The remaining zombies are scattered throughout the area in far fewer numbers. --Mobius187 17:00, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

There are hordes of 60+ zombies moving through the area in storm. Many buildings are broken into and ransaked. The area around is unsafe. My last check shows the Oswey Building is overrun and survivours are still fighting for control of the Solomon Police Department. The situation is looking very grim for the survivors. Many are retreating to other areas. At this moment in time, that seems best course of action, i will be remaining behind to help defend the Tribe Building, with the rest of the Phoneix Rising! Group. However, it is highly adviseable to get yourself to safety. Stay safe out there people... The Zeds dont need their ranks to swell anymore than they already have. Good luck to all of you. Hello Houldenbank. Your situation is bad. Use this tool for revive requests. A tip from a friendly survivor from Pegton.
June 7th
It's very back and forth. Zombies will knock down a resource building, then the survivors will concentrate to retake it and resupply. Then the zombies will knock it back down again. Right now, Owsley and Solomon are unransacked, but hardly under effective survivor control. Caley R Anderson 09:57, 7 June 2007 (BST)
- Update: Both Owsley and Solomon are full of zombies as of 11:29, 7 June 2007 (GMT) Dreakoth.
June 3rd
Zombies are dispersing in thin concentrations throughout Houldenbank. A large proportion of blocks have at least 3 or 4 zombies on them, some more, but there don't seem to be too many large mobs as there were a week or two ago. Most buildings seem to have been retaken by survivors, but the zombies have dispersed before only to reconcentrate and attack several times already. Owsley fell briefly two days ago, causing a long delay in revivification at the Ford revive point. Survivors should use the current opportunity to stock up on FAKs, ammo, and anything else they may need. NTs who can help cut down on the line of revive requests at Ford (and especially also at the graveyards near St. Maurice's) should do so post haste to increase survivor odds. Caley R Anderson 22:38, 3 June 2007 (BST)

The control of Solomon is uncertain. It will be taken by humans only to be retaken by zombies. Efforts are still under way to take it back.

Houldenbank is becoming rather dangerous. Zeds have started to swarm. Solomon Lane PD and the Owsley Building NT are both under attack by double-digit numbers; the PD is looking at two or three dozen. Zombies waiting for revive, it's recommended to use some AP to break any nextdoor building down to VS. Not only will you gain some EXP while you wait but, it will open up some VS entry points in a city that's overbarracaded. Necteks who are trying to revive are wasting all their AP searching for VS entry points for safe resting before they can start reviving. Any survivors who are stuck outside and running low on AP, try resource buildings as since these are commonly attacked, their barracades have a good chance being lower, more zombies outside the better. Barracades are not to plan currently.

All new citizens who have sought refuge in Houldenbank, please be advised that overbarricading has become critical. There are very few places that are now not either heavily barricaded or extremely heavily barricaded [EHB].
Access to supplies is limited as a result of over-zealous barricading through fear of the zombie hordes. All 3 of the hospitals are EHB and emergency supplies for the sick and wounded are in short supply.
Citizens with the Free-Running skill are urged to provide vital medical assistance to any unfortunate souls who are unable to seek shelter by night-fall. --Riotgirl 21:09, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
- Update: And I would urge people to start de-barricading over-barricaded buildings. Houldenbank has a UBP guys! --Vancouver Smith 01:34, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

February 24th
Houldenbank is not safe anymore, I don't know why some people say the suburb looks secure because this is the worst i've seen it in months. There's some Pker problems at the Hosken Building, 2 days ago we had some dumbass named "hitler" preaching white power and killing survivors with other guy. The revives are VERY slow at the Greatorex building and some people moved away from the suburb after the central area was taken down by a small number of zombies, i'm talking about less than 20 zombies, that's it! Pretty lame, I know. Still, we are not doomed, we are not even near doomed but the quality of the defense right now is definetly poor.

Things are taking a turn for the worse in Houldenbank. Both St. Maurice's and Solomon Lane have been broken into (3 in each) and Solomon Lane has been ransacked. --Vancouver Smith 02:47, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Update: Three zeds outside Kitting Museum, 5 outside St. Maurice's Hospital, 3 outside St. Lorenzo's Church. All in all, if you want to clean up Houldenbank, go to these spots and kick some zed butt. Hold Houldenbank!!!!!!!!
February 18th
The suburb looks fairly secure. Zombies are only in occasional ones and twos, and quickly taken down by Black Berets and other survivors. --TheDictator
February 16th
Squidgey returned again. Killing everyone inside Greatorex Building.
List of PKers in this area:
Undertaker 88, Sgt Slaughter, Sgt Slaughter 88, Hitler (all one player with alts - has more!) TPKRM Squidgey
Time to stop these people! --Reinbowarrior
Here's my thought: the Greatorex Building is primarily for rotters. Ergo there should be a separate point for non-rotters and all non-rotters around Rotter Revive buildings should be shot. --malax001
February 14th
All survivors in the Greatorex Building are dead. Building has been ransacked, with 11 zeds outside, some looking for revives. --AlexTheScientist
February 12th
Rebuild WAS going fine. However another visit from the viscious PKer Squidgey was enough to leave several of the defenders of the Greatorex Building dead, now zombified and looking for revives.
We now only ask one thing - Destroy Squidgey and do not revive!!! --Reinbowarrior
February 10th
Several defenders killed. There are 4-5 high level zombies raiding the Greatorex building. A small core of low level rotters relief/NecroTech protection front are holding them at bay, but nearly every night the generator is destroyed and we loose more civilians to the horde. Zombies are pretending to want revives and then destroying the place and the people.
Help required, situation desperate. --Reinbowarrior
High level zombies...I've been smashing the generator almost every chance I get and I'm quite low leveled actually. As long as I'm in the suburb, don't be surprised if you log on to see "A zombie destroyed the generator. A zombie said 'Graaaagh!'"...yes, I'm him. --Graaaagh!
February 6th
Several defenders PK'ed by Squidgey - again - He's level 41 - how do we stop him PKing???
The large Zombie influx to the north is worrying. We need to defend this revive point... --Reinbowarrior
February 4th
I too got PK'ed by Squidgey - I vote justice is done, and he's hunted down.
A group "Necrotech Protection Front" are trying to keep the Greatorex revive point open, but each night some sneaky zombies (with infection!) keeps trying to break in and destroy the generator. It's desperate down there! Help required! --Reinbowarrior

I just got PK'ed by a dude named Sqidgey. Squidgey, if you read this, I demand explanation! Especially, since I have never ever killed another survivor.
Oh, and in the news, Houldenbank is still safe, a few recent minor break-ins. However, it is not safe enough to sleep outside, as several survivors (not me) have taken to doing. --RevEngEspc

December 12th
Hey, someone should bump Houldenbank down to green due to the efforts of 501C, Black Berets, and Rotters Relief. Barely any zeds. Largest group seen today would be a group of 3 somewhere.

October
October 27th
Sanctuary has set up a revive point at Elford Lane, top right hand corner of map. We will do our best to get the revives to the masses, and hopefully we can get people back into the fight.
October 27th
If anything resembled human activity I can't see it. Few buildings. Nothing. I actuly killed myself just to not care about zeds... it's advised that survivors not wanting a fight should avoid this suburb. --cody6 03:12, 28 October 2006 (BST)
October 25th
Outside Owsley IS NOT a revive point. I repeat, outside Owsley IS NOT a revive point. Dead survivors go to Ford Drive. Don't let zombie cultists confuse you! -- Doc Groucho 15:46, 25 October 2006 (BST)
October 17th
Both Ford Drive revivification point and the SW sacred area have been cleared by Black Berets, Silent Running and some other groups fighting to secure Houldenbank. Many of the zombies that were ransacking the eastern side of the suburb are dead or have wandered away. --Doc Groucho 14:36, 17 October 2006 (BST)
October 3rd
Sanctuary has entered the suburb, to help fellow survivors coming from a victory in Penny Heights, we will clear hostile zombies from all buildings, be it if we are living or dead, killing a Sanctuary member, will only make it stronger. All dead survivors are to return to revive point Ford [93,63, and to while waiting for a revive, help clear the buildings around the revive point from hostile zombies, making it easier for survivors to retake it. Add all zombies that say "mrh" to your contact list, they are your comrades. Be sure to return to the revive point, before you sway. Add http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=407933 to your contact list, and kill him, he is at the revive point, and is a member of a zombie group. And hence does more harm living then dead. First Target: Solomon Lane Police Department, clear it of all hostile zombies, and put down any around the building. Good luck and may a revive shringe redeem us!--Angry Hobo 20:52, 2 October 2006 (BST)

The Black Berets close their revive point at Ford [93,63] and encourage those seeking revives to move NW to more secure suburbs. while moving out of Penny Heights to seek a revive after being dead since the seige of Joachiam, I went through and found some opened buildings with groups of at least 3 zeds in them.--cody6 21:12, 21 August 2006 (BST)
August 21st
The Solomon Lane PD is empty of all human life. Yesterday it had 70 + inside of it, today it as well as all buildings adjacent to it are cleaned out from a zombie attack. Extra-ordinarily powerful zombies are attacking the entire area in what appears to be a coordinated assault.
August 20th
The Solomon Lane PD was broken into and all barricades are down. 70+ are inside and are being dragged out into the streets. All surrounding buildings should be on alert or better yet, move out for now as the people inside the PD were warned to do.

- Update: Mark 5:9 is "And he (Jesus) asked him, What is thy name? And he saith unto him, My name is Legion; for we are many.". Does that imply that the Many have returned, or is it just rumormongering? --wcil

November
November 20th
Houldenbank is overrun.
November 18th
Houldenbank has largely been abandoned. Most major buildings (including resource sites) are unoccupied and unbarricaded, and scattered numbers of lone feral zombies roam the streets and interiors. While Solomon Lane P.D. still stands, the number of human occupiers have dwindled down to a handful of diehards.
November 10th
The assualt on Solomon Lane police station continues to grow. Thirty one zombies are now present; and though they take heavy casualties, they manage to break into the department twice and kill two survivors. The defenders reinforce the barricades frantically.
November 9th
Solomon Lane police station is currently a central zombie-human battle point, with a horde of 26 zombies laying siege to the building, which was a safehouse filled with twelve to fifteen humans. The building has been breached once, but no defenders were slain, as only one zombie apparently entered before the breach was repaired. The zombie fled before it could be eliminated. Evacuations from the safehouse to other more secure locations seem set to occur in the near future.
