A paddle. It was likely used for hazing.

13. Hormel Meat Pruduct - Although I don't mind the idea of more stuff, there are several problems with this. First, a cricket bat completely dwarfs this object. If you're going to introduce a weapon, you must not make it an inferior form of a stronger one. Nobody would ever use it. Besides, most people who role play can do it with the other weapons as it is. And that is the only way most of those weapons stand out in any form. The weapons already in-game need fleshing out before new (similar) ones are introduced, else they just get thrown on the "junk" pile.--Kolechovski 20:04, 1 April 2008 (BST)
