Rather than using <code>text-shadow: #bbb 0.2em 0.2em 0.4em;</code> try switching it to be <code>text-shadow: rgba(0, 0, 0, .3) 0.2em 0.2em 0.4em;</code> or something like that (tweak the .3 however you want). Thats a more than valid explanation. To be honest with you, I'm taking the initiative to learn about the situation before I try to defend or talk about it. Rather than just go "oh hes my friend, stick up for my friend", I'm deciding whether or not the battle is worth fighting so to speak. I'm trying to take steps towards being a contributive member to this wiki, rather than using it as a tool for flame wars ( which, with some of the silly people on here, are fun haha). Basically there is no more Beatbox Kids(my old group) so there are not as many people getting in strife, or to speak on behalf of. I'm just focusing on bettering my own groups wiki, as well as my own wiki knowledge for the moment.  
Do you understand how the subcategories work?  I'm looking at [[:Category:Groups]], and the subcategories there are all screwed up. A couple of groups show up in the subcategories, like the [[Dead Bunnies]], and yet some genuine subcategories like [[:Category:Noise_Abatement_Societies]].  Reading the [[Help:Categories#Subcategories|help]] was no help. I've tried shuffling around the category tags for [[:Category:Noise_Abatement_Societies]] to no avail.


Removing the [[:Category:Zombie Groups]] tag and then replacing seems to work properly, as the group is removed and then added again to the zombie group subcategory.  However removing and replacing the [[:Category:Groups]] tag doesn't have any affect.  Thanks in advance for any advice you may have, and sorry if you don't know about all this stuff.  It looks like you're online so I thought I'd give you a shot.--{{User:Giles Sednik/sig}} 21:44, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

What's this? My shadow code from my sig has been stolen! Actually, I modified the code in my sig just for the reason that you're discovering now. Rather than using text-shadow: #bbb 0.2em 0.2em 0.4em; try switching it to be text-shadow: rgba(0, 0, 0, .3) 0.2em 0.2em 0.4em; or something like that (tweak the .3 however you want). Category:Groups

Do you understand how the subcategories work? I'm looking at Category:Groups, and the subcategories there are all screwed up. A couple of groups show up in the subcategories, like the Dead Bunnies, and yet some genuine subcategories like Category:Noise_Abatement_Societies. Reading the help was no help. I've tried shuffling around the category tags for Category:Noise_Abatement_Societies to no avail.

Removing the Category:Zombie Groups tag and then replacing seems to work properly, as the group is removed and then added again to the zombie group subcategory. However removing and replacing the Category:Groups tag doesn't have any affect. Thanks in advance for any advice you may have, and sorry if you don't know about all this stuff. Do you mean that the sub categories don't all show up on the first page of Category:Groups? I think it's because there is such a huge number of pages actually in the group already. I was thinking about it, and frankly I think it should go under the Assylum space, along with all the other stuff from it. Like moving the Assylum page from my user space into a sub section of it (IE Assylum (2007)), the Hyperbig under it, any of the templates and images I can still find, you know. Yeah, Editsection does seem promising, but as you pointed out, we don't have the necessary stuff. Since we don't have it, I tried ripping the code directly from that template a few hours ago and seeing how far I could get without all of the CSS, but I didn't get very far before I just stopped trying. I managed to get the colors to change fairly easily, but the link had to be edited by hand since we're missing a magic word, and the positioning wasn't correct, though I didn't really fool around with it much.
