Kempsterbank is a suburb of Malton, located in the southern area of the city. The Knights Templar have been vested with the responsibility of the safety, defense, and revival of the living population in the area from the original settlers of the suburb since June 2006. In August of 2007, Detulux Inc migrated to the suburb to fill their new warehouse complex with weapons for zombie defense. Most recently, in August 2008, an organized group of zombies, the St. Ferreol's Hospital Noise Abatement Society arose and have been ruining the surrounding blocks and eating breathers ever since.

In January of 2009, the Boardsies arrived in Kempsterbank and settled in the northern part of the burb. In their short time here they have made Kempsterbank a more enjoyable place to live and can be often found having a drink and a good ould singsong until the early hours.

Kempsterbank could use the dedicated radio frequency of 26.19 MHz, which serves the "SE-4" grouping of suburbs - East Grayside, Hollomstown, Kempsterbank, West Grayside and Wyke Hills, but instead most all radio transmitters in the suburb are normally tuned to 27.55 MHz, sometimes accompanied with the NE corner of Pole Mall.

Kempsterbank has a (currently non-UBP) barricade plan.

Public Forum

Recently set up for the Kempsterbank and surrounding areas is a new public forum, The Kempsterbank Journal, where survivors and zombies alike can converse whether they belong to groups or not. All residents of Kempsterbank are welcome to participate, and calls for reports from other suburbs have been issued. If you wish to join the community, visit the forums here

the lack of updates for the best part of the month may have something to do with lots of survivors having been eaten. Members of the undeadites helped swell local zombie numbers and many buildings were opened and ruined. Situation is currently improving for survivors with buildings being reclaimed. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 13:16, 13 April 2009 (BST)

External Military:"... reporting from Kempsterbank, I've got a couple of dozen active ... mostly just small groups ... lights are on across the suburb ... some minor structural damage ... the Jillard Building has power ..." (11 hours and 2 minutes ago)

The 'burb has made a come back in a hurry, most of the western buildings have been running for days, but the minor damage mentioned in the report lies in the eastern part of the suburb. While the resource buildings are quite secure, there a re break-ins radiating out from the area nearest St Ferreol's which itself has yet to be retaken. Survivors are moving back in in large numbers and revive queues are fast at Ebutt and Ware, the next report should put Kempsterbank back in the green. JD 03:15, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

As my esteemed colleague above states, The situation is returning to normal. If you were to stand outside the ruins of St. Ferreols you would believe the MOB had never left, and if you stood outside the Dobbs building you would think they had never arrived. Overbarricading is easing as zombie levels fall. So. Almost normal. Survivors? Check. Revive lines? Short. St. Ferreol's Ruined? Check. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 20:40, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

The Militant Order of Barhah has moved on to Wray Heights. Eat ya next time! -- Grogh 22:26, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

"... about eighty in Kempsterbank ... a few big groups, but they're spread out ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... heavy structural damage ... the Dobbs Building has fallen ..." (18 hours and 44 minutes ago)
And so, time marches on. The bulk of the zombies remain after the core strike force moves on. So it is now up to residents and mall rats to step up and rebuild that which has been destroyed. Kudos must be given to the MOB for their masterful and well played battle JD 04:00, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

March 5th

Dobbs NT, Bramwell Auto, The Jillard NT, and Julie General have all been taken back by the survivors.Roddy Winters 04:44, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

March 4th

The Denton Affair, the Feral Undead, St. Ferreol's Hospital Noise Abatement Society and MOB were very active today, dividing their activities among the suburb and ruining Barnerd Way Police Department, Penni Drive Fire Station, a warehouse, the Bornard Building, St. Ferreol's Hospital, Club Crook, Byewell Bank, the Jillard Building NT, and ended up opening Julie General Hospital. Screams, gunshots and groans are now being heard emanating from the interior of this hospital, while wounded survivors are being dragged out to be devoured by the ravenous horde. --FLZombie 04:58, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

  • Dobbs NT, Bramwell Auto Repair, and Penni Drive FS are now back in survivor hands.Roddy Winters 12:11, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

March 3rd

After weeks with no sightings Sendell Saints have been removed from the suburb.--Lois talk 10MFH 16:06, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

"... thirty or so in Kempsterbank ... mostly just small groups ... power's on across most of the area ... some minor structural damage though ... the Dobbs Building is looking wrecked ..." (26 minutes ago)

Like clockwork the external military reports the jump in activity beginning this month as the highly coordinated MOB invade and take out two of the suburb's most valuable resource in what can be best described as a blitzkrieg. Scavengers and others cannon fodder should vacate, while combatants, healers, and revivers should check their inventory and prepare for a hard fight. After months of stagnation the suburb just became a battleground. -- JD 06:40, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
