Brooke Hills, also known as "Brooke's Hills" or simply "Brooksey", and not to be confused with Brooksville further south, is a suburb of Malton, located in the north-central area of the city. A cathedral, St Luke's, straddles its eastern border (shared with Shearbank). The large Malton City Zoo lies immediately over its southern border, covering most of NW Ketchelbank.

Grandon Place Police Department has been targeted by a zombie group known as the Grandon PD Noise Abatement Society. Their intentions are to take the Grandon Police Department as their own, forging through the survivors who had holed themselves up there and opening the PD up to all zombies who wish to join up. Fight them, and they will show no mercy. (Rob Sombra)

Brent Place Firestation fell into undead hands, people got dragged up on the streets. I barely made it out myself. I just hope I'm not infected. Ran my ass off to find a place to duck in, as most of the buildings where barricaded to shut that I couldn't get in. Lot's of zombies strawling around all over the place, but mostly small groups or single ones. I tagged the fucker that clawed me up. I'll get him someday. --Funkster 22:59, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

December 14th

Thanks to the efforts of new life cultist group Hard Knock Life, plus local DEM and assorted local survivors the suburb has had nearly every building repaired and barricaded.

  • 2 Necrotechs: Powered & EHB
  • 6 PDs: VSB++ & unlit
  • 1 Hospital: EHB & Lit
  • 4 factories: VSB & unlit

Updating status to moderate. --Speels 04:23, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

Well it's pretty grim. The situation was bad, virtually no non-ruined buildings. We were picking up pieces, then the MOB steamrolled through, leaving nothing except the odd zombie. I'm taking the report up to Very dangerous. --Angusburger 17:50, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

External Military 25.96 MHz: "... can see about forty on the streets of Brooke Hills ... all stragglers, no groups ... can't see any signs of life ... the whole suburb's wrecked ... the Hellyer Building is out of action ..." --xoxo 04:49, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

October 2008

October 12th

At least 45 zombies on the streets, with much of the suburb in ruins. Breakdown of the Tactical Resource Points:

  • 2 NecroTechs & 1 hospital: ruined.
  • 6 Police depts: 4 ruined, 1 without power, 1 status unknown.
  • 4 factories: 1 powered (extreme NE), 2 not, 1 ruined.

Given the ruined status of the core TRPs, and much of the suburb, Dangerous, verging on Very Dangerous. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 20:03, 12 October 2008 (BST)

September 2008

After an era of zombie domination over the west of Brooke Hills the Eastonwood Ferals and most of the Zombiefied Republic of !zanbah decided to disband and will hence end their activities in Brooke Hills. So long! --Experiment211 00:27, 18 September 2008 (BST)

Another 2 Cool news update: The zombie menace has largely cleared the suburb and small but highly coordinated and dedicated survivor groups as well as independent players have cleared, repaired and barricaded most of the buildings across Brooksey leaving the suburb in good shape however lacking a notable survivor population. Powered buildings and well serviced Revive Points are all but non existent.--xoxo 02:59, 13 September 2008 (BST)

Brooke Hills Defense Plan

Brooke Hills has joined several other suburbs with the announcement of a Defense Plan. This plan is customized off of the general Optimal Defense Policy, allowing maximum Very Strong havens for all players, and further keeping as many "useful" resource buildings open as possible.

The plan is new, and the Brooke Hills Museum Foundation asks that all visitors help to implement the plan, the goal being:

  • 1) That all characters can easily find safety from zombies.
  • 2) That all needed resources are available to any and all.
  • 3) That Free Runners have Extremely Heavy safehouses adjacent to critical buildings, without preventing #'s 1 & 2 above.
  • 4) That locals to Brooke Hills can come to count on buildings being open and safe.
  • 5) And that all Museums will be accessible to all to enjoy. (yeah, well, it works with the plan...)

Refer to the Brooke Hills Optimal Defense Plan.

The Brooke Hills Optimal Defense Plan has been updated and is being currently enforced by the Malton Fire Department and Malton Police Department. Forbin 16:55, 3 Feb 2006 (GMT)

Known Violations of the ODP

  • There are violations all over Brooke Hills. It is nearly impossible for anyone without free running to enter or leave most key buildings. On top of that, all but a handful of non-essential buildings are of the same violation, resulting in a lot of people dying on the streets.
  • There are consistent violations in the northwest PD block. Currently using my AP daily to try and fix them. These are pretty much unenforcable, but bizarrely, the people that overbarricade do not appear to be actually sleeping in the overbarricaded premises. --Calzion Smith 05:10, 4 July 2006 (BST)
