Vanished Comments

If anyone can get the right comments back please do. I don't have time to search them up but the histories are now merged. They're hidden in the revisions right now because of the re-merging of the A/VB pages. I'm really not sure what happened to them. I believe it may have had something to do with when you moved A/VB to UDWiki:Administration/Vandal Banning/Archive1. It looks like discussion archives were created with the exact naming structure (see above) and probably when you moved the page you checked "move associated talk page" but when prompted you (wisely) told the wiki not to delete the existing discussion page. That's my best guess. Anyway, I can't find the comments and I don't really know what I'm looking for. They may be gone forever unless you can figure out how to dig them up yourself. ~

Bots Discussion

Return of old, already banned, bots

Over the past couple of days, bots who were previous banned have been spamming again. Has the recent update of the wiki somehow unbanned them? -- boxy 10:35, 27 December 2014 (BST)

how in the world are we (the users/future sysops) supposed to know what's acceptable/unacceptable if permabans are on a case by case basis? censorship is subjective. Comedienne Sarah Silverman told this joke: "I was raped by a doctor, which is so bittersweet for a Jewish girl." ...so i ask would it be okay for a woman/"female" character to say: "Johnny Rotten tore my designer jeans off & raped me...then blew my brains out & taunted me afterwards"? ...would it be okay for a victim of (text) rape to talk about in-game text-rape on the wiki? if so, then the text-rapist should be able to talk about in-game text-rape on the victim's talk page ...but if there's zero-tolerance for text-rape, there should be zero-tolerance for out of character (racial, homophobic, etc) slurs and hateful insults ...but if your character is prejudice or a racist, you should have every right to "act" hateful towards other characters on the wiki. if a male cop wants to role-play as a rapist by (text) raping/groping/fondling female characters inside police departments & list all the character names he has (text) raped on his wiki page, he should be able to do so ...but if his victims don't want him to display text-rape on their talk pages, he should comply & keep it moving. role-playing is the keyword here because now it's against the wiki rules to role-play in a vulgar manner ...and yes i am aware that there was vandalism involved but had he put the text-rape on talk pages, he probably would've still be permabanned which is unjust. violent is okay as long as it's not (text) rape. i'm not done but my wife is ready to go.
