| # While I think Spider has probably been the best ''sysop'' among the candidates these last few months (more even-keeled and active than Karek; more experienced (and willing to vote for others :P) than Shortround), I tend to think that Karek would be a better '' 'crat''. Honestly, Karek and I are about as different as they get. He and I disagree a lot...which is ''exactly'' why I think this would work and what I think we could use. Since Bureaucrats only really have the power to veto decisions, deadlocks get avoided while dissenting concerns still get raised. Win-win. Plus, whereas I'm mostly seeking to maintain or return things to the status quo most of the time (i.e. a path that eventually leads to stagnation), Karek tends not to be, which is something we could use.
