All Hospitals and NT buildings in the suburb are currently powered and barricaded. Revive Points are clear. Clusters of zombies in groups of 7 or 6 continue to defend ruined/darkened buildings, however objectivity requires updating status to safe. --Giles Sednik CAPDSWA 21:41, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Group activities: Zombie group Scurvy Scroungers maintain their large nightly vigil in the deeply ruined Mitchener NecroTech Building at [1,95] and are also blamed for sieges on the other New Arkham NecroTechs. Many buildings in New Arkham are in a state of ruin, including half its four NTs. Zombie numbers are not extraordinarily high, but several buildings are nonetheless in a state desultory siege. The suburb is still rather dangerous. --WanYao 05:35, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
December 25th
Buildings here are being repaired and barricaded slowly but surely. The zombies in the area are disorganized and just standing around. As Jack Gillow said, we could use more survivors to help repair buildings. --Maxvance 01:44, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
December 22nd
The Wagner Building is back up and Quite Strongly barricaded. A few zombies are hanging around and a few are still idling in buildings, but the Southeast corner of New Arkham seems pretty clear of zombies, though many buildings are still ruined. Independants are clearing out the suburb slowly, and any help is appreciated. --Jack Gillow 19:51, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
December 13th
The suburb is still very dangerous, although in recent days myself and a number of other independent survivors have managed to re-build many of the suburb's less important buildings for use as safe-houses. To my knowledge all four NTs remain dead at this time, although unless a large number of zombies arrive from elsewhere this will not be the case for long, as survivors are beginning to trickle back into the area. -- CITIZEN VI 03:21, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
December 12th
All TRPs are ruined, as are the majority of non-descripts. Several of the last few remaining "safhouses" have been breached and zombies outnumber survivors in these buildings. Very Dangerous. --WanYao 07:19, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Suburb downgraded to moderate. In the last week the Malton Rangers along with local survivors have been making a push towards reclaiming the ruined streets of New Arkham. So far it has been going well with all of the suburbs NTs being reclaimed and a good portion of the area repaired. There are still patches of ruin throughout certain areas and small groups of zombies do manage regular break ins.--Lord Wulfgar 22:13, 20 August 2008 (BST)
August 18th
Zombie numbers have dropped substantially recently, accompanied by a large increase in the survivor population. Most resource buildings including hospitals and NTs are back online, with several lit. Many of the ruined buildings are the "dark" type such as banks and cinemas. The chances of survivors living through the night have greatly increased. Downgrading to dangerous, though with zombie levels declining and resource buildings functioning, one could easily argue New Arkham could be moderate as well. --Foster 04:51, 19 August 2008 (BST)
August 9th
No signs of life anywhere. Every building ruined. No noticeable survivor activity. Lots of feral zombies. Graffiti about "Zambah Hazlan" (Zombie Homeland?) on many buildings. Upgrading danger level to ghost town. -- WhatZombies
August 3rd
The last remaining barricaded buildings in New Arkham fell yesterday. Zombie numbers somewhat increasing, but the suburb was mostly a victim of few survivors to start with. Upgrading to very dangerous.--Foster 21:36, 2 August 2008 (BST)

July 20th
There at least 60 standing zombies in New Arkham, and with the exception of the east side, the 'burb is in ruins. The zombies are scattered, however, and its status probably has more to do with a perennial lack of significant survivor numbers, rather than with a major, coordinated zombie presence. --WanYao 21:54, 20 July 2008 (BST)

Confirming yesterday's report: the west, southwest and central sections of New Arkham are almost all in Ruins. Many non-descripts on the east side are being held, but all resource buildings except for St-Timothy's are wide open. The count of 80 zombies, however, cannot be corroborated: I counted about half that number, with no large mobs, and most resource buildings held by only a solitary zombie.

Most buildings in the middle, South and West sectors ruined, a few key resource buildings (NT bldgs, fire stations) experiencing back-and-forth fights. About 80 zombies scattered around, but major surges destroying safe areas on a regular basis. Pretty dangerous. - WhatZombies

Some fighting on the West end of town, particularly around the Mitchener Building (which is shaping up to be a real battle), Ashfield Ally Railway Station and some of the surrounding buildings. A few ruined buildings on the East end of town, but only a handful of zombies causing trouble. Still many safe buildings on the Northern edge of the suburb. - WhatZombies
May
May 26th
Very few zombies to be found in NewArk, breakins are scarce and the revive queue at Methringham is empty. The biggest pain for local survivors at the moment could be some serious overbarricading of entry points -- perhaps a side effect of the many newcomers who can be seen around the suburb recently? -WanYao 20:04, 26 May 2008 (BST)
- Indeed. I've also noticed many newcomers around town. And speaking of overcading, walking outside earlier today I nearly ran out of AP looking for a VSB building to get back inside. This was around the NT complex in the SE part of town, although from my scouting yesterday it appears it is much easier to get inside in the western part of New Arkham.--Foster 21:49, 26 May 2008 (BST)
May 22nd
Conditions have improved considerably around New Arkham in the past few days. Both hospitals have lights on, as well as 3 of 4 NTs. SW corner is still questionable, but your chances of surviving the night here are now pretty good. Downgrading to moderate.--Foster 17:59, 22 May 2008 (BST)
May 16th
A small but determined survivor contingent has taken the fight to the undead in recent days. Local zambahz, however, refuse to lie down without a bite -- and, while there are numerous well-defended safehouses to be found here, the TRPs are hotly contested and rarely stand for more 24 hours. --WanYao 06:17, 16 May 2008 (BST)
May 9th
Scouting New Arkham revealed most building to be ruined with the only small signs of survivor activity (i.e., barricades) being in the NE.[2][3] This reporter counted just over 50 zombies, including indoor TRP squatters, but not including 15 at NewArk's sole Revive Point: Methringham Grove [4] Of note is a group of 10 zombies outside Pritchard Grove Railway Station, the far SW corner of the city.[5] The presence of a small mob at this location has been consistent for several weeks now, leading zambah anthropologists to speculate whether this location holds some special meaning to the zombie psyche -- or whether the walking corpses have simply come to a dead end and are too confused to realise that there is nowhere further to go... --WanYao 06:10, 9 May 2008 (BST)

Just as Alexander VIII said previously, a few structures have been raided by both zombies from the Militant Order of Barhah and unaffiliated zeds in the past 48 hours. Club Bratt, Sayer Towers, Denning Bank, Gervais Bank, Zephyrinus General Hospital, the Franklin Museum, Marchetti Bank, Horton Square Fire Station, Woof Grove Fire Station, the Orlando Arms, Care Bank, Cottingham Drive Fire Station, the Mitchener Building NT, The Wreford Building NT, Tilke Bank, the Tebbet Building, Club Chester, Hinkes Auto Repair, Comitty Row Fire Station, and the Parr Building, among others, were attacked, and several were ruined. This suburb is no longer a safe place to be, since the MOB is gearing up to tear down the remaining NTs and all of the other safe houses in the area. If there is a barricaded building, the MOB has vowed to visit it. --FLZombie 03:42, 28 April 2008 (BST)
- Add The Wagner and Fullaway Buildings to the list. Looks like Purvis Library is next. Multiple NTs down, hospital to the north is ruined. Updating to very dangerous.--Foster 07:08, 28 April 2008 (BST)
- ... as well as the Woolven Building NT, the Harford Building NT, Purchas Towers, Ashfield Alley Railway Station, Pritchard Grove Railway Station, a warehouse (1,97), the Keyford Museum, Judd Cinema, Small Street Fire Station, the Connors Motel, the Curtis Building, the Fullaway Building, the Denty Building, and yes, the Purvis Library also. There are still a few structures left in New Arkham, but it seems that they will not last 24 hours. Recommend survivors head over to Old Arkham until the Militant Order of Barhah grows tired of this suburb.--FLZombie 18:41, 28 April 2008 (BST)

The revive queues have been mostly cleared, and there's been quite a lot of 'cade strafing going on by the small but dedicated handful survivors residing in New Arkham. Most TRPs, however, are still in zombie hands -- including all 4 NTs -- and many ruined buildings are occupied by 2 or more zombies. The most secure part of the suburb is in the North, bordering Foulkes Village, where barricades are more secure and there are even some powered resource buildings. Currently, this suburb should still be considered Very Dangerous. --WanYao 07:09, 6 April 2008 (BST)
- UPDATE: The SE NT cluster was cleared recently and barricaded -- and has been holding. For the time being, anyway. --WanYao 12:25, 7 April 2008 (BST)

I've been wandering as a zombie for the last few days in this suburb and I don't see it comming back any time soon. The cemetery has 27 standing zombies. There any still several members of The Dead who attack revive point zombies. I've seen a few buildings repaired and barricaded, but nothing lasts longer than three days. I stuck my head in a few buildings and saw a zombie in every single ruined building.--└Frozen┘┌Flame┐ 15:20, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, but that is what's it's always like in New Arkham, merely a little more extreme is all. The breathing residents of this out-of-the-way borough are quite used to it, and have learned to adapt. Somewhat... --WanYao 17:43, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Finished scouting the suburb, it is slowly transforming into a ghost town especially since it is the furthest suburbs away (at least 8 suburbs away) from the nearest safespot. There are around 13 zombies at the revive point. In other news, the "defenders of new arkham" are no more. The man 00:20, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

I counted about 75 zombies (not including about 40 at known revive points) during a fairly thorough scout. There are probably a few more inside, but many buildings I checked were totally empty. Everything is Ruined, of course, and there are no obvious signs of survivor activity; however, the bulk of the dead seem to have moved on to different abattoirs. --WanYao 10:54, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

None of the living left, and clumps of undead everywhere. In what is now a familiar pattern, an occupation force of 2-3 zeds per block hold New Arkham. All that the burb needs now is a newspaper with "the Dead walk" written on it...TerminalFailure 23:01, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Its official. The last safehouse in New Arkham fell to the zeds this morning. How many of the 20 or so survivors made it out alive is unknown, but the entire town is now ransacked.
March 12th
UPDATE: just did a recon and it looks like essentially the entire western half of the suburb is in ruins with groups of zombies 3 - 8 strong wandering around.
The zombies have moved in with force to the suburb and many of the strategic resource buildings are either ransacked or under siege by the horde. St. Timothy's hospital is close to collapsing under the weight of zombies, and the 3 NT's in the SE of New Arkham are still zombie occupied.--Nuts to you 19:46, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
Confirmed: the entire south side of New Arkham has been overwhelmed by zombies. All the burb's NTs remain in zombie hands, and St. Timothy's Hospital finally succumbed to the undead tonight. Many non-resource safehouses were also breached within the last 24 to 48 hours. --WanYao 01:40, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Zombie strength seems to be concentrated in the SE sector of the suburb -- arguably the most strategically important part of New Arkham, with three NecroTech facilities and one of the suburb's two hospitals all within only a few blocks of each other. Currently, zombies have a firm hold on the SE NecroTech cluster, with all buildings in that area being Ruined and zambah-squatted. St-Timothy's hospital is in survivor hands, powered and Extremely Heavily Barricaded -- and many nearby buildings are also viable safehouses. The bitter struggle for Malton's SW frontier continues... --WanYao 00:50, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Significant segments of New Arkham have been reclaimed by survivors recently -- including some resources builings, albeit admittedly not always securely. There is activity by both zombies and survivors here, but it remains to be seen if the balance will tip noticeably in either direction, or if the suburb will remain an uneasy stalemate of mutual whack-a-mole tactics. --WanYao 17:03, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

New Arkham is being updated to dangerous. I saw around 50 zombies, and I am gussing that their are probably 10-15 more in the area ( I explored around 75% of suburb). Zephyrinus General Hospital, Horton Square Fire Station, Woof Grove Fire Station, Club Gellard, the Woolven Building and the Mitchener Building, were just a few of the buildings that I can remember that were ransacked. I think I saw around 3-5 other buildings destroyed as well. Break ins happen constantly. This suburb is very close to becomming very dangerous.--ChiaPet 22:50, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

The central and southern areas are doing well. Many buildings VSB or EHB. 2 out of three NTs are barricaded, but one is ruined. Hospital is lit and EHB for survivors. Upgrading status to Moderate. --DaytonDead 06:00, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
February 23rd
I didn't bother to count zombies and I'm dead so I can't speak to survivors inside the buildings ... but the entire south half of New Arhkam is trashed. That includes all the NTs. But both hospitals were caded and and lit. The north part is doing a lot better, however, with many buildings powered and well 'caded. It seems mostly quite secure. This is NOT a ghost town, and Dangerous is probably a safe bet for its status. And sadly, Iwitness is screwed, so you can't search for the screenshots of my scout, but they are there... --WanYao 04:58, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- External Military report (17:52, 22 February 2008 (UTC)): "... can see maybe fifty on the streets of New Arkham ... mostly just stragglers, no organised groups ... several buildings with power ... serious collateral damage ... the Harford Building has definitely fallen ..." --WanYao 05:01, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
The bars on the north side are still open and powered. There's a determined group of drunks and barflies keeping them at VSB so new and low level survivors can get in for a drink. Zephyrinus Hospital just weathered a minor attack and is also open for business again. --[[User:Squirmydad] 10:06, 23 February 2008

Threat Level should be lowered to safe, did a run-around and most buildings are up, well-barricaded and a few are lit. Saw a few zeds around but no more than one in one place. --Joshua Matthews 20:58, 22 February 2008 (UTC)Joshua Matthews
- What are you smoking? All 4 NTs are ruined and zombie-occupied, and so are all the buildings around them. There are some parts of the suburb that have barricades and a couple generators, but we'll see how long that lasts. This suburb is not safe, going by barricade levels it has to be at least dangerous. --Skyfaller 00:10, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- Dangerous is probably the best category to describe New Arkham right now. Resource buildings are mostly occupied, but total zed numbers are fairly low. Scouting around town today I noticed fewer ruined buildings and quite a few buildings at EHB. I also saw more survivors around than in previous days so ghost town is definately out.--Foster 01:40, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Woah! This place is nowhere near safe, most of the buildings are ruined and there are very few zomboes or survivours. You know what that means.... Danger level updated. The man 17:10, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

The southern 3 NT's are all ransacked by zeds and their creeping rot is moving north to consolidate their position. --Carcasone 21:45, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
I updated the danger level to moderate, though one could argue it should be dangerous based on the fact that many resource buildings (4 NTs, St. Tim's Hospital) currently have an undead presence. --Foster 01:42, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

St. Timothy's Hospital is nearly deserted. The doors were wide open when survivor Yay Spaghetti Yay left the hospital, and one zombie was already inside.
A full reclamation of New Arkham is being undertaken by the Barricade and Reclamation Unit, and it will need all the help it can get to secure the suburb. I have to dispute New Arkham's status as a "green" aka Safe suburb. Certainly, efforts by local survivors have made New Arkham quite secure lately; however, there are active zombies and there are break-ins -- and even open and ruined buildings [11][12]. "Nearly broken-into's"[13] occur quite often, particularly at the NT buildings. My own opinion is that New Arkham should be considered Moderate danger level. --WanYao 12:53, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

Despite zombie activity, all three NTs in the SE corner have been cleared and barricaded -- the Harford is currently powered and at EHB+, the Denty 'caded to EHB+ as well, though unpowered... and finally the Wreford is also powered and barricaded, although I do not know what level. St. Timothy's Hospital has also been secured, but lacks power. Things are looking better for survivors in New Arkham than they have in a long time... --WanYao 15:45, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
December 1st
I haven't seen the west side of the suburb in quite a while, but the east side has been largely secured, albeit at times tenuously. St Timothy's Hospital is barricaded and powered and has been for several days now, though it is probably the only building to remain lit for any length of time. The sadly small but tenacious survivor population are in an ongoing battle with local (also small, but persistent) zombie groups. In particular, the three NTs in the SE corner are the scene of constant skirmishes. Survivors attempt to kick out undead squatters, and zombies likewise attempt to keep breathers from establishing lasting footholds. I doubt this classifies as a ghost town anymore, though I am not sure what to call it... a far more interesting and challenging place to be than, oh, say Dullston or Fort Creedy? Yeah... that works... --WanYao 00:42, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

The battle continues to rage in the suburb. ZED focus on the the 4 NT buildings as been intense as they try to stop the sources of revives. There is a wave of more Zeds coming from the north just 1 burb away and getting closer, reinforcements to ensure this NT enclave is cleared out. Can the survivors rally as they get pressed against the Southern boundry of Malton?
August
August 31st
The vast majority of buildings across New Arkham are ruined and wide open. There are very few safehouses to be found, namely St. Timothy's Hospital on the border of Old Arkham. Survivors are having a hard time keeping safehouses up and running. Based on almost all buildings being open with little support I've changed the danger level back to very dangerous. Survivors are hoping that the back and forth struggle of late will return to their favor. --A zombie01 13:42, 31 August 2007 (BST)

The group of very well coordinated zombies assaulting southeast New Arkham last week appears to have mostly gone in separate ways. The Wreford, Denty and Harford NTs are back in Extinction hands, being completely ransacked with no survivors present. Some ex-survivors have been sticking around as undead, and ZKing the zombie enemy, but with no fellow survivors around to dump bodies or retake the NTs, this activity has been fruitless. Survivors are advised to withdraw completely and stock up with everything they need before returning. 'arm. 20:35, 5 July 2007 (BST)
July 3rd
The Wreford, Denty and Harford NT are generally being held by the living. However an increase in Extinction activity is meaning that break-ins are almost daily. Most survivors live to tell the tale, and swiftly re-barricade the NTs. Generators have short lives due to attracting (and concentrating) zombie attacks. Survivor rehabilitation of this suburb is likely to be a hard fight, and there may be too few to counter the zombie threat. --'arm. 19:44, 3 July 2007 (BST)

As of Thursday June 28, 2007 at 04:05:00 GMT The Hartford Building (NT VHB), The Wreford Building (NT VHB), and barely The Denty Building NT at slightly barricaded, are all in survivor hands. That makes 3 of the 4 NT buildings in New Arkham. Although at this time none are powered. There is still an active zombie presence, probably all members of Extinction. Any low skilled survivor should think twice before sleeping in New Arkhan. --Divs 05:11, 28 June 2007 (BST)Divs

Be careful in this 'burb where Extinction is concentrated, they use their alts and other survivors to find where survivors are located. Finding yourself killed by "survivors" who are zeds with revive me descriptions are quite too common. However, the previous post is indeed correct, Extinction is highly coordinated. Once these survivor spies have free run around and located survivor hideouts, you can be the high level zombies will come running in soon. --Koppee1 14:09, 26 June 2007 (BST) 14:08, 26 June 2007 (BST)

Anyone thinking New Arkham is safe must be on crack. New Arkham is hot, Extinction is in the suburb and coordinated, most buildings are wide open, but the only REAL zed presence INSIDE is in all of the NT's. The SW Necrotech buildings are under seige and we could use all the help we could get. The Zombies are organizing much better because they're afraid what will happen to their territory. The news of are triumph apparently was heard by rotting ears for we were attacked and the generator was destroyed in the fight. We would like any assitance willing to help please be at the Parr building soon before it becomes lost. Last Hope
The zombie(s) making the attack on the Parr Building seem to be nocturnal. We need someone to stand guard during the night, and keep the barricades up (I would but I have school) off the record. We may also be dealing with a PK'er group cause the likelyhood of the same zombie breaking in every night by himself and destroying the generator is unlikely when we have it EH barricaded.

Zombies appear to have learned some sort of rudimentary communication and cooperation skills. In addition, they may have discovered how to create spraypaint-like messages from human entrails. At the moment, one-third of the non-essential buildings in southwest New Arkham are zombie-occupied. Caution is advised; safehouses are unlikely.

These must be dealt with before they can increase.
The phone mast is up and running. Feel free to call your friends, but beware of the Bush Administration tapping your calls. The Parr Building, which houses the phone mast, is currently barricaded, but no one is inside. The surrounding areas need to be cleared of zombies.
February 17th
We're bringing the phone mast online, hopefully for good. The Harford Building, St. Timothy's Hospital, the Parr Building, and Hinkes Auto Repair are all safe for any level of survivors. You no longer need free running to survive in the southeast corner of New Arkham.
February 7th
Although the number of living-impaired citizens appears to have dropped, the southeastern section of New Arkham is still considered dangerous for any living citizen without free running (due to heavy barricading). Even those with free running are advised against spending significant amounts of time in high-profile buildings. Phone service continues to be sporadic, and there is no word on when permanent service will be restored to this suburb.

Citizens are advised to exercise caution while travelling through New Arkham, as the southeastern section has been completely over-run. Phone service is unavailable, and it is unknown at this time when it will be resumed.
