British Military Corps

BMCbanner.png

Welcome to the The British Military Corps recruitment page! The BMC has been dormant for a long, long time, but with a new mission and the potential for new recruits, we're ready to return to Whittenside.

Our new message; Keep Whittenside Safe!

Whittenside has always been a suburb with troubles, mainly from the threats attracted to Fort Perryn. But there is more to Whittenside to the fort, and when the fort falls, someone has to do their best to fight the horde flowing into the suburb! It's a high danger suburb, but with the support of our friends in the Fort Perryn Defense Force and the intelligence they provide, we can fight smart and stay alive against the onslaught. So, if you've somehow discovered this ancient game recently and are looking for a group to support you, if you're a returning player looking for a new goal in the game, or if you're an existing player looking for a new challenge for your character or an alt, we'll be glad to have you! We're currently squatting on a separate section of the FPDF Discord until our numbers are high enough to justify our own one, follow the link below to join today, and help Keep Whittenside Safe!

Creedy Defense Force

CREEDYTOP.png

Discord: https://discordapp.com/invite/3Z72HtJ

Forum: http://killtrend.proboards.com (not used much any more but still checked)

 • The Creedy Defense Force is a small but active group.
 • Fort Creedy is a popular place for zombies and survivors to fight over.
 • It's a safe and fast place to level up.
 • It's well populated with either zombies, survivors or both.
 • There is usually a lot of action but in quiet times we move around the map.
 • We don't have much of a hierarchy and the leadership gives suggestions not orders.
 • We specialize in real-time strikes.

Department of Emergency Management

DEM Badge.jpg

The Department of Emergency Management is currently looking for volunteers from all across Malton to join one of the groups working together in the DEM:

Since the resurrection of the MFD, we have stood vigilant; seeking to bring relief and support to the citizens of Malton as effectively as we can. Regardless of your class, or what level you are, there are groups organized through the DEM that can fit your character! We also provide training for all new DEM recruits at The Academy.

See the DEM Recruitment Page for more information or contact us on Discord

The DEM currently has over 15 active members working for the benefit of survivors. If you want to make a difference in the fight for Malton, consider joining a DEM group today!

The DHPD is looking for officers both old and fresh to the city. We aim to fight once more, showing The Dead human players wont just roll over because they want us to.

We fight both rotters and PKers. We fight inside the city, inside the “Buffer Zone”, and inside the DMZ. We fight to keep the rest of Malton from being decimated once more. We ARE the THIN BLUE LINE that protects Malton.

Want to know more? Read the DHPD Testimonials or check out DHPD Newsletter.

GHOST

GHOST.jpg

Looking to play the game a little differently? If so, here's how we roll:

>>> Anything grey on the Suburb Danger Map? That’s GHOST territory.

>>> Highly AP-efficient. There's a few of us, and a lot of them.

>>> Semi-strict inventory management. FAKs, syringes, and building repair necessities. No guns, no trench coats.

>>> Enormous repairs. Join us in the hunt for fame, glory, and negative AP for a week.

>>> Be ready to die. Death is cheap, and the most efficient way to take it to those zed bastards.

Up to the challenge? Check out our wiki or holler at us in Discord.

Are you interested in joining the Mad Craskers? Good, we’re seeking all like-minded individuals who wish to protect SE Heytown. Characters of all levels and UD experience are welcome. By joining the Mad Craskers you’ll be part of a group which looks out for one another and the support of the entire group. For your part, just list the group in your profile. Then help your fellow survivors and crush the zeds. You can also sign up on our Discord here.

Use Of Alts

In keeping with the basic rules of Urbandead, the Mad Craskers will not allow the use of more than one character within it’s group. We ask that if you join our group to keep all other alts at least a full suburb away from Heytown.

Soldiers of Crossman

Soldiers of Crossman wiki
Soldiers of Crossman wiki
Area of Operations

Rising from the ashes of two historical groups, the Soldiers of Crossman have thrived in the volatile Northwest of Malton, becoming one of the longest-lasting, premier groups in the game. Our friends know us for our loyalty, good humor, and dedication. Our enemies know us for our strength, determination, and tenacity.

The Northwest was once a proud bastion of humanity in the zombie apocalypse, standing firm when all else crumbled around it. We intend to bring that back by uniting all of the survivors in the Northwest, not only in the fight against our common enemy, but also in our struggle to rebuild that which has been taken from us.

Join us on our mission:

To unite the Northwest and take back what is ours.

The Flowers of Decay

10000 wayward survivors educated and counting!

Zombies at revive points taking headshots. Overbarricaded revive points. Fools giggling and chatting in bars while the next suburb over dies. Buildings filled with idiotic graffiti and stolen museum pieces, courtesy of flotsam who'd rather waste time than help out.

Malton has grown weak and lazy. Over the years, group after group has vanished into obscurity... except one. The Flowers of Decay. To this very day, we continue to toil away at our thankless work, making Malton better by culling the weak and educating the strong.

We propose a better way of life. We propose strength through adversity. We are the whetstone for a blade that is in deadly need of sharpening. We are the challenge that humanity needs in order to grow stronger and better. We are the Flowers of Decay.

If you want to do something about deadweight Flotsam who try to pass themselves off as survivors, then join us.

Policies:
1. We want active team players.
2. We do not recognize Honor Among Thieves. Judging from affiliation rather than merit is allowing flotsam to wallow in uselessness. We will kill whom we please, when we please.
3. We are against zerging, alt abuse, text rape and metagame spying. We want the best out of our players and allies.

Format for Posting Adverts

Group adverts are to follow a very specific format. Your advert code should look like this:

Group Name

time stamp (~~~~~) or timed signature (~~~~) Optional if otherwise displayed.

 • The entire advert content is "encased" in a table. This prevents one advert's formatting from affecting other adverts due to image "text flow" and so on.
 • "Group Name/Recruit" is a normal wiki page that contains the content of the advert. Using the curly brackets and colon inserts your advert page's entire contents onto this page, just as if it were a template.
 • You MUST put the following categories on your "Group Name/Recruit" page:
<noinclude></noinclude>
or
<noinclude></noinclude> if your group has a category of its own.
 • Additionally you should add:
<noinclude></noinclude> where TYPE is your group type.
 • Place your advert in alphabetical order by group name, within the relevant group type. Adverts not posted in the proper alphabetical order will be moved.
 • Large Groups or Organizations with significant subgroups are limited to one advert. This includes groups such as the DHPD and the DEM, they may use their advert to direct players to the separate sub-groups.
 • The advert must have a timestamp (five tildes - ~~~~~) or a signature with an attached timestamp. This can be placed either on this page or on your adverts page.
 • After two months as measured from the timestamp the entire advert may be removed for inactivity. It is the group’s responsibility to update the timestamp to prevent the advert being deleted. Updating the timestamp may and should be done at any time while the group is still recruiting.
 • Adverts which do not use the format below or fails to adhere to the guidelines above will be commented out. This can be done using comment tags - <!-- ... -->. A dated comment will be left in the edited section explaining why the advert page was dis-included; if the advert is not fixed within two weeks, the entire section will be removed.

Category Listings

Recruitment pages are listed below in order by type. To include your recruitment advert in this list, put the following on "template" page, where TYPE is your group's type: <noinclude></noinclude>
