Suggestion description
- [23:28] <crazy death cultist #1> You break the wine bottle over Jerry2's head for 3 damage. They die.
- [23:31] <crazy death cultist #2> if you attack someone with a wine bottle, do their clothes become wine-stained?
No... But they bloody well should! :)
This suggestion is pretty simple... Like hitting someone with a fuel can, or how your clothes get blood-spattered in combat, when you successfully hit with a target with a beer or wine bottle, there is 50% chance of staining their clothes with the beverage. A message would then appear in the target's profile description to this effect.
The different kinds of stains would "stack", for example you could have a "blook-soaked and beer-stained blue shirt". There would be different levels "stainage", much like blood-stained clothes.
The article of clothing stained would be random, with those covering larger body parts having a higher % chance of getting stained, i.e. coats, pants, shirts etc. would be most likely to get stained. And ties... ties ALWAYS get wine on them, sigh. The exact %ages would be decided by Kevan.
The success %age is higher than with fuel tanks (i.e., 50%) on purpose -- because bottles are one-shot attacks. Also, note that zombies can attack with bottles!

Kill Votes
- Kill - Percentages are too high; I think wine and beer staining should happen only if the target was killed or takes considerable damage from said wine/beer bottle. It takes a lot of effort to get to the only building in town which has certain clothes and keep them clean, and you make it just too easy to get them ruined. --Aeon17x 14:38, 9 August 2008 (BST)
- It's a zombie apocalypse and you're worried about keeping your clothes clean?!?! Totally out-of-genre, can I vote "spam" on a vote? :P I'm pretty sure you don't need to be killed to get blood stains, only injured. This is the same. And, if I'm wrong, then I'd support lowering the %ages and/or making it only when you die. However, most clothing types can be found quite easily; those that can't, well, make that special effort just like the rest of us do if we get blood on our kilts or pimp hats. --WanYao 15:59, 9 August 2008 (BST)
- Kill - Partly as Aeon17x; I'm really anal about having clean clothes. And you DO have to be killed in order to stain your clothing. Also, this suggestion would not enhance my personal gameplay in any way. Billy Club Thorton T! RR 17:23, 9 August 2008 (BST)
- Kill - Waste of time. While you're at it why not just have a random chance each day to get ketchup stains on your shirt. Or make up some bathroom rules with chance to get stains on your pants. Even if it passed, you know it's just to going to take up space for all eternity and never get put in.--Zombie Lord 22:13, 9 August 2008 (BST)
- Kill - Its a nifty suggestion I admit, but I think Kevan's time would be better spent on more relevant things then fluff. --Karec 23:35, 9 August 2008 (BST)
- Kill - Almost swayed but I just can't get over how goddamn useless I feel it is. DANCEDANCEREVOLUTION (TALK | CONTRIBS) 08:10, 10 August 2008 (BST)
