THE AUTHOR OF THIS USER PAGE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANY CRAP FROM IT THAT SHE WANTS. IF I WANTED TO READ WHAT IDIOTS HAVE TO SAY, I'D BE ON 4CHAN. ALSO RESERVING THE RIGHT TO RESPOND TO STUFF AS SHE WANTS IF PEOPLE TRY TO VANDALIZE IT OR SPAM IT.
Also - this page tends to have rather lengthy discussions - discussions which are so long that they can be hard to follow. The Rules Of Discussions on this page are as follows:
- 1 - Put the newest posts at the bottom of the page (until/unless I change the format of this page)
- 2 - If there are multiple-paragraph talks, and you want to comment on a paragraph-by-paragraph basis (responding to each paragraph with indents and signing), you are welcome to do so (as long as you sign after each 'break' and indent properly) - The author reserves the right to do the same.
- 3 - If you're a persona non grata (unwelcome person) on this page, The author will delete your posts. This only happens to trollers and people posting just to harass. Disagreeing with me alone is not harassing, btw.
- 4 - Please sign your posts so I know who is talking to me.

I'm writing this because Akule said it would be a good way to put you all on notice in case you decide to ignore the warning...
Stay off my user page, and do not troll here and harass me anymore anywhere.
Like the top says, if I want to listen to harassing, verbally abusive people directed specifically at me, I'd be on something like 4chan. And Grim_S, the only things I ever want to see on my user page from you better be in an official capacity, because your unofficial insulting, and commentary in spam form for the pure purpose of harassment are not welcome here anymore. Never were, actually, but now you're on notice about it.
If you don't like suggestions I make, that's cool. You can deal with it without the verbal attacks and coming onto my user page to spam it or (in Grimch's case) editting it. The sheer volume of comments I get from you guys makes it pretty clear that you're just doing this as, like Akule mentioned to me, a method of 'bugging the new guy/girl until he/she cracks.' Get a life and find better things to do with your time.
Any further harassment will be reported. Toodles :) --Tselita 14:25, 27 May 2008 (BST)

- Well you weren't being a jerk and spamming my user page or trolling. Akule told me that I should write this sort of thing to prevent them from further vandalizing of my page and trolling. --Tselita 14:36, 27 May 2008 (BST)

- Hehe, it's okay. Maybe next time that a bunch of dweebs decide to waste a load of their time spamming and namecalling just to harass me, you'll get the memo :) As of now, you're as pure as the driven snow in my book. My apologies if you are the type that revels in being seen as a rebel instead. --Tselita 14:42, 27 May 2008 (BST)
- P'raps. I haven't really encountered you before, and you appear to be intelligent upon first inspection, so I dunno whether I'd be able to work up the motivation to insult you. Plus, I'd feel dirty as hell siding with Karek and Grim. --brb, church DORIS CGR U! 14:49, 27 May 2008 (BST)
- Also, keep up the good work WRT deleting dickish posts. It drives people - particularly people like Grim (you know what I mean) - absolutely insane. ^_^ --brb, church DORIS CGR U! 14:49, 27 May 2008 (BST)
- Hehe thanks. I know. The fact that he's going nuts over my deleting his posts is expected. Pathetic of him, but expected. Especially since he must be waiting at his computer hoping for me to post - he commented on this almost immediately. Like a stalker or something. So sad, too bad. --Tselita 14:52, 27 May 2008 (BST)

Holy Jesus FN Christ.... How the fuck did I miss this.... so what did Grimchie do?--/~Rakuen~\Talk I Still Love Grim 04:39, 31 May 2008 (BST)
- Basically, first he started by writing huge amounts of spam on my user page with the stated objective of making it unreadable (he out and out stated this in fact).
- Then he pulled a suggestion which I was edit-conflicted by while finishing it up (with only one vote on even).
- Next, he decided to try his hand at true hypocrisy by editing my page without my allowing it because he doesn't like the formatting rules I use for my Discussion page (as if his own requirements arent insane enough, and ignoring the fact that other people have the same formatting rules as me - for example, Iscariot, who I actually got the idea from since that format is easier to follow for long spammy novel posts (yes, I'm aware I make long posts as well, but I don't mind if they're broken up as long a you sign after each break and indent properly).
- After that, he decided to try to declare me a vandal (of my own user page), failed in that attempt, and started whining on my user page when I put this new section up.
- So I kept deleting his drek until he spazzed out and finally quit trying to spam me. --Tselita 22:07, 2 June 2008 (BST)

First off I'd like to apologize if somehow I am messing this up. I haven't been on this wiki long, getting this whole page-editing thing down is a bit confusing, so if I mess up, please hop on over to my talk page and let me know, using as many mean words as you so please. Anyways, I've been interested in making suggestions for some time, but I'm afraid that I really don't know how to go about doing it. In fact, I barely know how to edit a talk-page, so my wiki-skills are probably about as effective as a lightning-powered tape dispenser. (I figured out TODAY how to sign my posts. -.-) Seeing as how you have made somewhere around sixteen suggestions, you seem like the kind of person to ask. Again, sorry if this is the wrong place or I messed up your talk page, still getting the hang of this editing thing. Feel free to delete this if I'm an idiot. Oh, and by the way, I think you're really cool and stuff like that that a whole lot of newbies add onto the end here to butter people up and not yell at them. =) --Daren Elaine
- First off, relax. Nobody here is going to bite your head off for messing up. Well, actually, that's probably a lie, there are quite a few morons who seem to keep their eyes on every community page they can for even the slightest reason, then complaining to the higher-ups when something goes even remotely amiss. Take Iscarot, for example. He had the indecency to report me for vandalism when I added a couple of headers to the Talk:Suggestions page. Sure, the report fell through, but still. If you're new, look around for the help sections. Particularly the Editing Help link at the bottom of the Edit page, that helps you learn formatting and stuff.
- Generally, just don't panic. If you do mess up, you'll likely get off for it being a 'newbie' mistake. Just, try to avoid active vandalism. If you accidentally delete all the text on a page, check the page's history via the tab on the top of the screen. The wiki keeps tabs on edits, and more importantly holds the previous versions, so if you do screw up like that, you can put it back.
- Enjoy your wiki-ing! --Blake Firedancer T E RNL? P.I.S.I.T. 12:04, 11 June 2008 (BST)
Hope you don't mind
But I sort of nicked a line of formatting code or two from your user-page, and used it on mine. I edited it so that it was different, but still.
What do you think? --Blake Firedancer T E RNL? P.I.S.I.T. 10:57, 12 June 2008 (BST)
- To be honest, I didn't code most of my user page. Hhal did it for me. But I wouldn't mind anyway :) Oh... and your user page is awesome. --Tselita 17:04, 12 June 2008 (BST)

Thank you for bringing to my attention the shocking theft of my signature, M'lady. Thankfully, the signature in question was insured, and a replacement has been hastily commissioned. Siggy Galore
You want a sig? Well...There's the easy way...and there's the hard way...
- The easy way: Hit "my preferences" at the top right corner, and type whatever you want in the nickname field. Except...I don't think you can add color to it...
- The hard way: First, make a signature page (like User:Tselita/Signature or User:Tselita/Sig)
- Step 2: Add what you want using all sorts of code and whatever. Be sure to have a link to at least one of your pages in there.
- Step 3: Hit the "my preference" thing and at the nickname field, put in {{Nosubst|User:'''YourUserName'''/Sig}}, then check off raw signatures.
That's pretty much about it. If you don't want to spend all that time looking for your sig page when you make it, I suggest adding a link to it in your navbar. And if you want, I'll make a sig for you, free of charge. I just need to know a few things... --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 19:55, 16 June 2008 (BST)

- Well the color thing I'd want Blue, Red and Yellow, like my user page probably. Would I be able to have something like you have with Quiz Winner, but instead with Hangman? --Tselita 20:08, 16 June 2008 (BST)

Well it is hard to ignore when you have a clique of people singling you out everywhere you go... But there's no point to playing their game. It just eggs them on. And wastes one's own time and energies. They've tried to get my goat in the past, and, yeah for the most part I just ignore them... other than the occasional snarky "intervention" like on Nubis' Talk page... Does ignoring them make them go away? Or stop? Nope. But it does mean one doesn't t waste time and energy on their junior high school bullshit... And what does it matter, losing some "face" (on fucking browser game!) to a bunch of immature wankers whom no one likes, anyway? It doesn't matter. Not. Fucking. Worth. It.
In any event, I think you ought to step back from it all... Goon shit and otherwise. Take a little break from the game, maybe, if you need to, shoot, I've done it, when I've found I'm letting meaningless stuff get under my skin... It happens... Also, frankly, your walls of text are annoying, and you should think about toning it down a bit... A nd sometimes you say some stuff about the game that IMO is totally wtf CENTAURS... But that's neither here nor there in so far as it's not PERSONAL. Because, like, I'm a grown up and not a Goon ;PPP ... But you also ought to step back from it all a bit, too, because ... for example ... I have a lot of objections to the way Grim handles himself... but the guy knows his shit when it comes to this game. And I've learned a lot from him, whether I like him "personally" in per his wiki persona notwithstanding... Writing off the knowledge possessed by a Grim or, especially, someone like karek (I actually like karek, and i don't think they belong on your "shit list") is IMNSHO shooting yourself in the foot in regards to learning the intricacies of this game. Well... that's my two bits worth, anyway... In any event... peace and all that other hippie shit =D --WanYao 01:50, 19 June 2008 (BST)
- Probably won't take a break from the game mainly because there's not much anyone can do to me in the game to get my goat like they seem to do on the wiki, but point taken. I doubt I'll ever like Grim - he's just too rude for my tastes, and I really have never been very impressed with his knowledge, though I'm sure that being on the wiki as long as he has, he's contributed a lot, while I've only been on the suggestions page. But just so you do know, I tried to make nice with Karek a while ago on his user page with an apology, but it didn't seem to take.
- As for the walls of text, I'm just rather wordy, but I'm not doing it to annoy or tease people - I just tend to have a lot to say when I get an idea for something. I agree with what you're saying though and I'll make an effort to be a bit less verbose. No promises on that part, though. :) Thanks again, in any case. --Tselita 03:17, 19 June 2008 (BST)
Suggestion Help
Excuse me Tselita, I'm back. Was wondering if you would mind giving me help building a suggestion I've been thinking about. It has to do with darkened buildings, and admittedly, it was inspired by your 'Leave the doors open' suggestion on the discussion page. I was wondering if you minded helping me work out the kinks with my suggestion. I've never made a suggestion before, so I don't know all the things I have to do with it, I know it has to be very precise, and that's where I was hoping to get some help from you. My suggestion, which deals with the problems of darkened buildings, is essentially, flashlights. Making a new inventory item. I have a very vague concept, and I wanted to hear your thoughts on it, since you sound fairly sensible. Here's my vague outline of it. Flashlights are inventory items that are never used up. They illuminate dark buildings in a way. They don't improve attack rates, since one could assume that firing a gun or swinging an axe while holding a flashlight might be difficult anyways. But they allow you to dump dead bodies, and begin repairs. I've been toying with the idea that they allow a slight (though not full) improvement in search rates in darkened buildings, but I don't know about that. Finally, the flashlight can double as an impromptu weapon. (Have you ever hit someone with a maglite.....heck, have you ever just picked one up? Those things are heavy, and could do some serious damage.) Unfortunately, this idea is very unrefined as is, and I could use some help narrowing down all the details, throwing out the stuff that would make it unbalanced, ect. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind partnering with me on this suggestion, we could brainstorm and refine the idea until it is good enough to turn in as a suggestion. Interested?
Edit:......Well, now that I look, it appears that this kind of suggestion has already been made before. -.- Oy. I need to read things a bit more....Ignore me. I'm going to help the other guy develop his suggestion. xD Sorry for wasting your time with this.--Daren Elaine 21:19, 20 June 2008 (BST)
- Hehe it's no problem. Not a waste of time at all - I think your idea sounds great, though you might want to drop the slight increase in search rates part (since the only dark building that has anything usable to begin with are armories, and there are only two of them) If an armory is dark and not ruined, chances are the fort is in survivor hands and it won't be dark for long. If it's dark and ruined, chances are the fort dwellers have bigger problems than a dark armory:) I love the rest of your idea though.
- Oh, and I'm honored that you asked :) --Tselita 21:32, 20 June 2008 (BST)
- Well, thanks anyways, but since it would just be a dupe, I'm going to think about some other options. I hope you don't mind if I come calling for your help in working out suggestions later in the future. This seems right up your alley. Anyways, thanks for the help you've given me so far regarding suggestions in general. --Daren Elaine 21:40, 20 June 2008 (BST)
- I'd be happy to. And it wouldn't be a dupe of anything currently in voting suggestions in a post-Dark-Update wiki, but once I put up my open door thing or danny puts up his flashlight to a vote, it probably would be.
- If you need any help with anything else, just ask. I'm happy to help --Tselita 21:44, 20 June 2008 (BST)
- Well, thanks anyways, but since it would just be a dupe, I'm going to think about some other options. Anyways, thanks for the help you've given me so far regarding suggestions in general. --Daren Elaine 21:40, 20 June 2008 (BST)
- Right. Thanks then. I've been toying with two other suggestion ideas. "Billy clubs" AKA Night Sticks (The clubs police officers use, hence, would be found in police station) and I was thinking, since police officers are trained to use them, perhaps there would be a skill to go along with it. My other current idea is "First Aid Kits as Improvised Weapons"....still haven't hammered out any major details with either of them though, so I may be back in a little bit to talk about them--Daren Elaine 22:39, 20 June 2008 (BST).
- What sort of damage would billy club/night sticks do, and remember to include stuff such as search rate percentages, burden percentages, damage and accuracy. Remember that when you add anything searchable to a police station, it reduces the search rates for stuff like pistols, shotguns and ammo, so there would need to be some sort of benefit to using it instead of an axe or knife (max accuracy might be higher?). Not saying it's a bad suggestion, mind you. I'm just saying to keep that part in mind when making it. --Tselita 23:10, 20 June 2008 (BST)
- Well that's the thing, I haven't figured that out yet. There would have to be some obvious advantage, but something that doesn't nerf either the knife or the axe without being overpowered or useless, is hard to determine. I'm still working out the kinks with that. On top of that, it's a weapon suggestion, so it'll probably get shot down. Still, it'll be fun to try. Perhaps making it better than the knife initially.......mm, I don't know yet.--Daren Elaine 23:23, 20 June 2008 (BST)
- Not all weapon suggestions get shot down. I made a sledgehammer suggestion which got a huge amount of keeps and got into peer review (4 damage, 25% max accuracy). This is the link for sledge hammer.
- When making melee weapon suggestions, keep in mind 5 weapons. The Axe, The Knife, the Pool Cue, the Crowbar and the Metal Pipe. Each of these have a different benefit which makes them useful. Any new weapon will have to fill a niche which these four do not currently fill.
- The Axe - moderate damage (3), high end-moderate max accuracy (40%). Starting accuracy is low (10%). Allows for three levels - 10%, 25% and 40%. 6% encumberance
- The Knife - low damage (2), low end-high max accuracy (50%). Starting accuracy is low end-moderate (20%). Allows for three levels - 20%, 35% and 50%. Useful in GKing and RKing as well because of high accuracy and GKing/RKing only depends on accuracy, not damage. 2% encumberance
- The Pool Cue - low damage (2), high end-moderate max accuracy (40%). Starting accuracy is moderate (25%). Only allows for two types of accuracy - 25% and 40%. Would be overall best weapon, but has a problem - 20% chance of breaking. 4% encumberance
- The Crowbar - low damage (2), low end-moderate max accuracy (20%), Starting accuracy is low (5). Only allows for two types of accuracy - 5% or 20%. Perk - more effective on barracades. 4% encumberance
- Metal Pipe - low damage (2), moderate max accuracy (25%). Starting accuracy is low (10%). Overall bad weapon but can be used to barracade loosely if you have no Construction skill. 4% encumberance
- When I made the sledgehammer suggestion, it filled the niche of a high damage (4), moderate max accuracy (25%), low starting accuracy (10%) weapon. Also it's significantly heavier than the axe (9%), which was a factor as well.
- What you need to do is figure out stats which would make the billy club/nightstick useful while falling into a niche which is not covered by the existing 5 'weapon types', or giving the new weapon a use in -addition- to being a weapon. I'll be happy to brainstorm with you to try to figure a niche like that for the nightstick, if you'd like. --Tselita 00:02, 21 June 2008 (BST)
- Well, I would love it if you would help me come up with some ideas for it. That's the thing, I can't think of any niche that this weapon would fill that is not already filled by other weapons. But I would certainly welcome any help or thoughts you could provide. Feel free to take it to my talk page if I am cluttering yours too much. =) --Daren Elaine 00:08, 21 June 2008 (BST)
- Low damage, high accuracy Cop-starting melee weapon? --Blake Firedancer T E RNL? P.I.S.I.T. 00:24, 23 June 2008 (BST)
- Too much damaged and it'll be spammed for overpowering an already strong starting class, too low and it'll be spammed for being useless. Thus is the nature on the Suggestions page. This suggestion is pretty much unsalvageable. -- . . <== DDR Approved Editor 00:29, 23 June 2008 (BST)
- Hold on, lets throw the "Nightstick" idea out the window a moment, I just got inspiration. Vehicles. Okay, calm down one minute, it isn't actually what you think. Ever been running around and return to your safehouse, only to find someone overbarricaded it in your absence? This has led to the deaths of more than a few newbies. I was thinking though, even if you couldn't make your way into a building, couldn't someone hole up in the wreckage of some car on the street? Use debris to patch up the holes in windshields, ect, and hide in there a moment? My idea was along the lines of, if you're out on the street, and locked outside a building (Say you return to a building to find it EHB, and you only have 1AP left, not enough to get even into the next building over. You could 'barricade' yourself inside a car or other pile of wreckage. However, such a barricade would only be able to be barricaded so far, significantly less so than a building. I haven't yet decided on any further details, but this is my starting concept. Whaddya think?--Daren Elaine 01:55, 23 June 2008 (BST)
- Normally vehicles tend to be on the 'never ever suggest' section, though mainly because it's dealing with WORKING vehicles. Using vehicles as makeshift safehouses? Interesting, though I'd do without being able to barracade it - you can't really 'barracade' a car. You can just roll up the windows until a zombie busts in. Innovative idea! --Tselita 16:37, 23 June 2008 (BST)

- I'm well aware of the Talk:suggestions page. It's just that there are an awful lot of goons haunting that page that are likely to spam any suggestion I even put up for discussion to kingdom come, and frankly, I have a low tolerance for blatant stupidity. Not that everyone there is a goon mind you, it is just that I'd just as soon discuss a suggestion with one or two people who I know to be reasonable before putting it out there with all the public (And annoying goons) to see. I fully intend to take any suggestions that I develop to the Talk page, but frankly, I'd rather hammer out most of the details with one or two people who aren't going to call me an idiot for having an opinion first, before I have to go deal with unreasonable people who have the mannerisms and vocabulary of an eight-year-old under the influence of airplane glue.--Daren Elaine 01:34, 24 June 2008 (BST)

- Low damage, high accuracy Cop-starting melee weapon? --Blake Firedancer T E RNL? P.I.S.I.T. 00:24, 23 June 2008 (BST)
- Right. Thanks then. I've been toying with two other suggestion ideas. "Billy clubs" AKA Night Sticks (The clubs police officers use, hence, would be found in police station) and I was thinking, since police officers are trained to use them, perhaps there would be a skill to go along with it. My other current idea is "First Aid Kits as Improvised Weapons"....still haven't hammered out any major details with either of them though, so I may be back in a little bit to talk about them--Daren Elaine 22:39, 20 June 2008 (BST).
on new skills in general
(the reference to my vote did not belong in the above conversation with Daren, since it's referring to this section. It should go below the double line header, not above it. That is why I moved it below the header) --Tselita 15:22, 24 June 2008 (BST)
- Keep/Minor Change - Hardly unnecessary, good sir, though I would prefer if instead of Diagnosis being the skill to do this, there was a skill in the Diagnosis tree which allowed infection detection instead. But this is a good idea either way --Tselita 17:54, 23 June 2008 (BST)
Do you appreciate that new skills tend to be bad ideas because veteran players can just gobble them up, while it just gives newbies more to spend xp on and shut them out of an ability? This doesn't mean all new skill ideas are bad, but it does mean many of them are, and most have to pass this "test". --WanYao 01:28, 24 June 2008 (BST)
- Yeah, as someone who remembers being a new player rather recently, I do tend to take that into account. A new player will -always- have to get the basic important skills first, and it's why I rarely do come up with new skill suggestions. The electrician one is a good one though because it isn't self-serving, and newbie player are going to be more concerned with skills that help themselves, rather than others. Veteran Players with more XP to throw around are the ones more likely to be altruistic with their skill-buying, and also more likely to already be working in groups. The idea of a new skill on the diagnosis tree also fits this criteria, because it adds to something which newbie players currently can't do -anyway-. --Tselita 01:36, 24 June 2008 (BST)
- Not aways...There are some newbies who buy whatever skill they want for the hell of it... --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 10:45, 24 June 2008 (BST)

- Here's what I've come up with: Template:PlayOnName. All you need to do is replace the bits in bold with the bits you've got. -- Cheese 21:48, 10 July 2008 (BST)
- Thanks for the suggestion. When I'm back on regularly I'll probably use it. Right now workload is way too much for me - it should lighten up the end of November or so --Tselita 19:01, 15 September 2008 (BST)
- Is it okay if, since you designed that for me to use for giving out Play On Name templates, I edit it a bit to look more like the rest of the template's formats? (I like the whole red on black look) And is there an easy way to alter the size of each PoN template in the master template you made? Thanks --Tselita 17:40, 17 September 2008 (BST)

Tselita: {{PlayOnName}} is basically a simplified wrapper for {{UserTemplate}}. You might try just using {{PlayOnName}} as the base for your user templates, possibly Wikipedia:Subst-ing it in and editing from there? For example, {{Subst:PlayOnName}} gives the following:
[[Image:{{{1}}}|60px]] | {{{2}}} |
This user received a template with their likeness. Get it? {{{3}}} |
If you edit the page, you can see what fields are pre-specified. Read the docs for the base {{UserTemplate}} to see what range of fields are available. And if you create the templates in your userspace (i.e. {{User:Tselita/PlayOnName/Cheese}} for Cheese), people cannot complain about them "clogging up" the template namespace. This is the solution Wikipedia use.
(By the way, I would leave the explanations off the template if I were you – let people have the fun of figuring it out! If they get stuck, they can always ask. :) ᚱᛁᚹᛖᚾᚨᚾᛏ 08:11, 19 September 2008 (BST)
- Thanks :) Main reason I like this idea is because with my new job and workload, this would make it a lot easier to give people PoN templates :) I might try the 'no explanations' route and see how it works. --Tselita 13:44, 19 September 2008 (BST)

Hi
Hi there, sorry for my wiki coma! I am sure everyone thinks I ate a .12 guage for breakfast one day and ended all the madness. Sadly, this is not the case... In fact, I am alive and well. I have met and fallen hoplessly in love with a russian woman. And aside from the bi-monthly pregnacy scares, all is well. I am quiting my construction job and going to work for a logging company, blah-blah-blah. Bought some property and am building a house come next spring. Bought a new truck.. Um... Caught 5 rainbow trout this weekend and saw a grizzley bear and an osprey.. Um, ya.. I suppose that is about it. I am not really home very much anymore and don't really turn on the computer much. But, hope all is going well for you all in UD. Are "the Dead" still around?? Sorry, just ca't keep up with this stuff anymore. Thanks for the template!! Very cool.--Airborne88T|Z.Quiz|PSS 06:54, 21 July 2008 (BST)

My 'brainstorming' page
Since almost every person who ever voted on one of my suggestions ever has been complaining that I've come up with nothing but crap, I created this brainstorming page for me to develop ideas before I put them on Talk:Suggestions. I've got a couple of ideas up there already, and some feedback would be appreciated. --Blake Firedancer T E RNL? P.I.S.I.T. 11:45, 22 July 2008 (BST)

Zombie-ism Quotes
Feel free to add your own to this list. Please sign the quotes. I'll start it off:
"Zombies are people, too... Okay, dead people, with poor verbal skills. And the only communication they understand is blowing off their heads." - USA Network commercial for Night of the Living Dead --Tselita 20:49, 19 September 2008 (BST)
"Infected are normal, law-abiding citizens who, through no fault of their own, have been infected with a horrible virus. This makes it okay to kill them." - - Infected game manual --Tselita 20:49, 19 September 2008 (BST)
"I also have always liked the monster within idea. I like the zombies being us. Zombies are the blue-collar monsters." - George A. Romero --Tselita 21:13, 19 September 2008 (BST)
"... And what about Zombies? You never hear from Zombies! That's the trouble with Zombies, they're unreliable! I say if you're going to go for the Angel bullshit you might as well go for the Zombie package as well.." - George Carlin --Tselita 21:15, 19 September 2008 (BST)
“We are moving upstream and looking at the source of the spam problem, and it is obviously the zombies.” - Tim Cranton --Tselita 21:20, 19 September 2008 (BST)
Zombie Rules
Taken from TV Tropes & Idioms:
The classic "Romero Rules" for zombies :
- Whatever the cause of zombiism, the effect is pandemic; anyone who dies arises moments later as a zombie, whatever the cause of death, unless they suffer damage to the brain. (ignored in UD)
- The bite of a zombie is infectious, and is always a fatal injury, even if it seems a trivial scratch. This results in the victim returning as a zombie, much to the horror of the Zombie Infectee, though this is essentially coincidental, as zombification would equally result had the infectee died of, say, rabies. - (partially ignored in UD)
- Zombies are slow-moving, lumbering, and stupid. Subversions of this have only recently appeared, but are increasingly common. In the Romero canon, it is a recurring theme that zombies become cleverer as time passes. - (mostly ignored in UD)
- Zombies are not significantly stronger than humans, though they are not disadvantaged by injury as humans are. - (absolutely ignored in UD)
- It is generally the case that a single zombie is not a tremendous threat, owning largely to the previous two rules. The threat of zombies generally stems from the fact that they tend to turn up in mobs. - (sometimes ignored in UD)
- Zombies can be killed only by destroying their brains (or destroying their entire body, as by immolation, which results in the same thing), though rendering them immobile is usually taken to be just as good. - (Totally and absolutely ignored in UD - though for a while it wasn't ... in Monroeville. Then it was totally ignored there as well)
- In the Zombie Survival Guide Max Brooks points out that since zombies can't feel pain a burning zombie will simply keep moving around (and setting other stuff on fire) until they become immobile. - (Fire is not allowed in UD)
- Zombies are compelled to eat the flesh of the living. - (Okay, This does happen in UD)
The "Russo Rules" are slightly different:
- Zombiism is The Virus. Zombiism results only from being bitten by another zombie, though event zero created the first zombie that starts off the chain reaction. Most non-Romero zombie films prefer this convention to Romero's, including the recent remake of Romero's Dawn of the Dead. - (Sometimes ignored in UD, unless Bub started this all)
- A zombie bite results in zombification, though the transition is slow, with the victim becoming progressively more zombie-like. - (Mostly ignored in UD)
- Zombies become stupider and less human over time, presumably as their brains decompose. - (Absolutely ignored in UD. Certain Players on the other hand...)
- A "recent" zombie may be able to suppress his monstrous tendencies for a time. - (Mostly ignored in UD, except maybe for Life Cultists)
- Zombies are stronger than humans, though they remain slow-moving. - (Totally ignored or totally supported in UD - depending on the skills the zombie has. Usually the first part is supported, the second part is ignored)
- Zombies are nigh-impossible to destroy, being vulnerable to damage to the brain as above, and immolation — though this can also release The Virus. - (First half - enforced in UD, second half totally ignored in UD)
- Zombies are specifically compelled to eat the brains of living humans. Zombies still possessing the power of speech may begin talking rather obsessively about smelling brains, before their minds deteriorate and leave them saying only, "Brains..." - (Okay. They do this. Usually)
- They say "brains" because Russo zombies find being dead very painful, and eating brains is the only thing that eases that perpetual agony. - (Or their boredom :) - Supported in UD? )
--Tselita 21:02, 19 September 2008 (BST)
- I would just like to say that sharp claws and sharp teeth =/= zombies are stronger than harmans --/~Rakuen~\Talk I Still Love Grim 23:22, 20 September 2008 (BST)
- I'd actually say that Vigor Mortis is what makes zombies stronger than humans. sharp claws and teeth doesn't make them stronger - it just means they have built in weaponry. That's what I was referring to, not the claws or teeth. --Tselita 00:04, 23 September 2008 (BST)

- Thanks for the templates! I will proudly display them on my profile from now till true death. What's this about Cheeseman's template, though? --Private Mark 03:41, 24 September 2008 (BST)
- Oh, Cheeseman made a master template for me to help me make Play on Names templates easier, but I haven't really used it much because of the sizing of the frame/picture issue. It's something I'm going to test out to see if it looks the same as my normal PoN templates. And you're welcome :) --Tselita 14:13, 24 September 2008 (BST)
Jesus a zombie etc. . .
Jesus a zombie? I think not. He was fully resurrected, whereas zombies are still dead.
Does he hate zombies? I think he'd see them more as a force of nature than as living beings consciously doing evil.
Oh, and thanks for your compliment on my template. --Sister Elissavet 17:53, 23 September 2008 (BST)

Therefore, its proper status is unknown. Period. If you actually know the status because you're there, please provide an actual report. An actual report would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. --WanYao 13:48, 2 October 2008 (BST)
- WanYao, I've actually GONE to those places with my two alts and there are NO zombies anywhere there. i'm not editting it for the heck of it. It's SAFE and quiet in both those malls and that's what I wrote. What report are you asking for? I'm confirming that it's SAFE. 0 zombies and only 2 or 3 pkers for over a week? That's SAFE. Stop undoing it. --Tselita 16:41, 2 October 2008 (BST)
- Then post a real report, please. A report has information. Your "report", which I reverted, read only "Last reported 'unkown' on blah-blah date". That isn't informational in any way shape or form, thus I reverted it. --WanYao 19:49, 2 October 2008 (BST)
- I posted the report at the bottom with the rest of the reports. --Tselita 22:56, 2 October 2008 (BST)
