Basic Info:

  • Police Stations can be barricaded normally.
Eley Way Police Department

Eley Way Police Department is a derelict grey-stone building surrounded by burnt-out cars. It serves as the Malton Police Department headquarters for Greentown, and is a primary base of operations for District SW-1. Radio Channel 26.21mhz is for local bulletins and status of the precinct.

Please do not over barricade this building! It should be maintained as an accessible safe house and free running entryway, and as such the barricades should be maintained at Very Strongly (VS+2). See the Uniform Barricading Policy for more details.

History

This police station didn't actually fall under the command of Greentown PD before the outbreak, as higher crime rates in Tapton, but a lack of space meant they needed a PD but simply couldn't fit one in. So, they built this Police Department over an abandoned wasteland in Greentown, on the border to Tapton. The PD's position right on the border allowed it to respond to disasters in Greentown as well, and thus supplemented the forces of both police forces.

Purpose

"To Serve and to Protect" SW Greentown and her neighbors.

Located in the southwest quarter of Greentown. This small but proud station house has a equally proud tradition and place in Malton history. MPD Detective --Lane grate 17:47, 17 October 2008 (BST)

Barricading Policy

Uniform Barricading Policy suggests that since the Police Station is an essential resource building, it should be barricaded to Very Strongly Barricaded +2 (which means, barricade it up unto the point where it says "further barricading will prevent people from entering" and stop so that people without free running can still enter).--Alice Cuinn 07:00, 4 June 2007 (BST)

Eley Way Police Department is a Proud supporter of UBP by actively maintaining barricades according to local plan or UBP standard. Hospitals, Police and Fire Depts should be kept at VS. DO NOT OVER-BARRICADE. If you feel exposed in a VS building, move out of these resource buildings. Over barricading locks other people outside. It could be you looking for a VS block one day. When a building is under siege by three or more zombies, barricade limitations may be temporarily ignored, but should be returned to the preferred condition as soon as the immediate threat is alleviated. February 28th

Just finished scouting all of Greentown. List of the state of major resource buildings. St. George's Hospital is held by survivors at very strongly barricaded, one zombie stands outside with 8 dead bodies. Dixon Way Police Department is held by survivors at very strongly barricaded, one zombie stands outside with 1 dead body, 2 zombies to the south. Rounds Boulevard Police Department is held by survivors at extremely heavily barricaded, one body outside and 3 zombies outside nearby buildings. Polwhiele Way Fire Station is held by survivors at quite strongly barricaded, 1 zombie stand outside with 3 dead bodies. Weightman Boulevard Fire Station is held by survivors at very heavily barricaded, 3 zombies stand outside with 2 dead bodies. Eley Way Police Dept is held by survivors at extremely heavily barricaded, outside lay 2 dead bodies. Branagan Row Fire Station is held by survivors at extremely heavily barricaded, outside lay 5 dead bodies. Also St. Simeon's Church is ruined and in zombie control, 4 zombies inside and 6 outside, 13 more in surrounding area. Over all the north of the suburb is safe, with only few zombies. Throughout the south over barricading is common, but I assume this is in preperation for the zombies leaving Marven mall. Current danger level of suburb fits. --Knife Of Honor 19:03, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

February 25th

Almost all of the MOB has moved on to the east. Survivors have begun the rebuilding. Branagan Row FS and Eley Way PD are back in survivor hands, but a group of over 20 bodies are outside the Eley Way PD. The rest of Greentown is coming back slowly there is still a few small groups of zombies throughout the area. --Knife Of Honor 01:52, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

February 24th

With the Official Zombie Hit List swept clean, the MOB shambles eastward. -- Grogh 04:27, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

February 23rd

The Militant Order of Barhah has ruined most of the Official Zombie Hit List and is rooting out the last of the survivors. Many barricaded buildings are turning out to be empty as survivors flee to safer areas. This suburb isn't going to last another day. -- Grogh 01:28, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

February 22nd

The Militant Order of Barhah entered Greentown via the warehouse next to St. George's Hospital, and proceeded to ruin both of those buildings. They next moved south and ruined a pair of factories in the far SW. Heading east, they recently ruined both Eley Way PD and Branagan Row FS. They were last seen moving NE from there. They looked hungry. -- Grogh 04:25, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Update: St Dionysius's Church + MOB = Ruin. --Grogh 04:34, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

February 21th

The southwest of Greentown has come under heavy attack after the fall of Marven Mall. The zombies are making a major push on the Eley Way Police Dept doors are open and up to 15 or more zombies inside. The state of Branagan Row Fire Station is unknown. Will keep updating on Greentown for as long as I can. -- Knife Of Honor 08:47, 21 February 2009

February 20th

The zombies from the Militant Order of Barhah were seen crossing into Greentown from South Blytheville, through the western border of the suburb. They are being followed by several feral zombies as well. St. George's Hospital was opened up and at this time, there are in excess of 40 zombies inside. There are unconfirmed reports of a break-in further south in the suburb as well. --FLZombie 04:20, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

The MOB continues to ransack the NW corner of the suburb and the surrounding areas. St G's and adjacent warehouse both ruined. Very unstable. ~ extropymine Talk | NW | 4Corners 21:11, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

from South Blythville:

March 21st NecroWatch reported in from The Preston Building today. In a marked change from the last report the situation has dramatically reversed, as there were now 0 zombies within scanning range. That's right... none. Nadda. Zip. Zero. Zilch. No zombies. Of course, as with all limited scans, it only indicates detected zombies within the immediate area. --Mobius

March 16th NecroWatch reported in from Pippard Building. A recent scan had revealed that there were 30 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 9 zombies were at the Pippard facility itself, 4 zombies were at the Hazeldine Building, while 3 zombies were at the Gee Avenue revive point. The remaining zombies, which numbered in the 1's and 2's, were scattered throughout the area and posed no significant risk by themselves. --Mobius

March 6th NecroWatch reported from The Preston Building today. Things are not looking up. A scan revealed 116 zombies within scanning range. Of these, 30 were at the Pippard Building, 11 were at the Hazeldine Building, 12 were at Marven Mall. Other groups of 4 to 6 zombies are scattered all about the scanning area, posing a high risk to survivor activities. ~ extropymine Talk | NW | 4Corners 10:12, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

The zombies have pretty much swept the place out. High levels of ruination with little to no survivor presence left. Still a good amount of ferals mulling around. Very Dangerous. -- User:The Rooster RoosterDragon User talk:The Rooster 17:21, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

March 1st

It's hectic in central N.Blythville right now. The RPs are overflowing. 46 standing zombies in the carpark, cemetery and park combined, with half as many bodies again at these locations. Hebditch NT has fallen, Gatford Towers is down. Julie General Hospital is under attack. Some buildings still held and caded by the survivor population. But ranging between 2-10 zombies outside a lot of them. Dangerous. -- User:The Rooster RoosterDragon User talk:The Rooster 17:19, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

February 25th

It seems that zeds are spilling over from the mall tour, which right now is in neighboring Mornington. 18 zombies outside of Hebditch, 5 more outside of Julie General Hospital, and I believe 11 zombies at the Carpark (25,64) RP. Changing suburb status to Moderate. --Beowulf the Fireman 16:14, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

February 21st

NecroWatch reported in from the Hebditch Building today. A recent scan revealed that there were 34 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 6 zombies were at a junkyard, 5 zombies were at St. Joseph's Hospital, while 3 zombies could be found at Bently Auto Repair, the Boulting Building, Kennard Drive, and the cemetery revive point. The remaining zombies numbered in the 1's and 2's and were scattered across the area, but posed no significant risk to any other locations. --Mobius 18:13, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

February 20th

The suburb is reasonably secure, though incredibly overbarricaded. The cade plan is being ignored. 3 zeds at Hebditch. ~ extropymine Talk | NW | 4Corners 09:47, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

February 17th

A haggard man covered in bloody rags reports from the Hebditch Building today. The building is under an overwhelming attack of more then a dozen zeds. Expending as much FAKs as possible before leaping to the next building. --shyhjang 16:28, 17 February 2009 (EST)

February 4th

NecroWatch reported from the Hebditch Building today. A recent scan revealed that there were 10 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 3 zombies were at Bently Auto Repair, while the rest were scattered across the area in fewer numbers. --Mobius 16:42, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

March 11th

Pursey NT has been retaken and powered. -- Lynx7725 02:12, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

March 9th

Most of the North area is ruined, not looking too good for survivors in the area. Looks to me like the only place to get ammo in the suburb is Frossard PD, and I don't think it will be up much longer. --Warfates 00:53, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

March 8th

Large amounts of zombies scattered and 2 or more 10+ sized mobs roving through central Lockettside. Large amount of ruined buildings. --Luke Leimer 17:39, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Cheeke is still down, Tompson has been retaken, trying to hold, attacks on SE corner. We need fuel for the genny's. --Fausta Gummings 01:22, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

NE and SE corners of Tompson ruined again. Puresy NT down, most of the middle of Lockettside ruined. On a plus note though Club Frankland is still up & running so you can get a beer.--Fausta Gummings 10:05, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

March 5th

Thomson Mall has been completely destroyed and the Mall Tour is spreading to nearby buildings.--XxFear ItselfxX 05:48, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

March 3rd

With nearly 100 standing zombies outside of the Southeast quadrant of Tompson Mall, and another 90 bodies littering the outskirts, it seems that the zombie horde from Mall Tour 09 is gradually gearing up for a major offensive in that area. The food court in the mall is preparing hors d'oeuvres for their hungry guests. --FLZombie 23:51, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

The Lockettside Boys are still alive and kicking and have been working on our drunken ninja skills, and that might be why you haven't seen us around. We have been disguised as the beer bottles that people have been finding around the suburb.--Harvey Goolap 19:45, 04 March 2009 (CST)

Ahem, broken beer bottles thank you Harvey, that's what you get for trying a round house while swigging from your pint.--Fausta Gummings 01:06, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Edit to my edit, WEEKS? try hanging out in the Club. The only time there's not someone there is during a major zombie attack (or our karaoke tours) and even then our corpses litter the floor. At least I think its corpses, it could just be members who've passed out while drinking Jackhammer tm--Fausta Gummings 01:12, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
